  1. Whoah, was not expecting this - but I managed to grab some of the red ones. Nice.
  2. Oh wow, Tercorn adult is so pretty, I love how he looks! Edit: oooh, Corals look pretty cool too!
  3. Things seem to be better today, but I'm not thrilled seeing old eggs already mixing in. Ah well, both hatchies are cute tho, that makes everything better!
  4. Agreed, hunting for eggs is currently neither fun nor productive and not worth my time. Maybe later things will get better... As much as I'm happy to see new releases such a poor start of the event kind of dampens the mood. ..
  5. Cool looking adults, good job spriters! It's always good to have even more breeds to work with and new pygmies are a complete win, I remember these guys from DR!
  6. Cool, a new release! Love the look of the pygmies, they're so cute. Grabbed a couple eggs, can't wait for adult sprites. Thanks to everyone involved!
  7. They're in the Alpine too https://dragcave.net/lineage/8mhgG ~/view/ link changed to /lineage/ link~
  8. I don't really mind as this gives those who missed the event the chance to catch up to the rest of us. I'm actually relieved they're not annoyingly rare, as I need a bunch more to reach my scroll goal. Hoarding for the win! But I'm sure they'll become less common soon as the cave gets back to normal.
  9. Late to the party, but I'm loving this release, so many different dragons! I like the look of Lihnseyre dragons best, but the rest are also very cool dragons! Happy birthday DC and thanks to everyone involved! Now onward to collecting these pretties!
  10. Thank you, love those! Here's a pretty Blusang x Arsani checker https://dragcave.net/teleport/83d13164d517c2d3262f5c51ec041dd7
  11. Cool looking adults, thank you spriters!
  12. Got some colorful ones, now I just need to grab some of those gray Pygmies. Both hatchies are looking really cute, looking forward to seeing the adults. Thanks to everyone involved for the nice release.
  13. Sadly it's over, I miscalculated as well and missed on many pretty eggs. I'm quite bummed about this as there were many I wished to get... There's simply not enough time to collect so many eggs, 30 eggs yes, but not 62... there should be either more time, less eggs or shorter time between sprite appearance. I loved all the sprites, it's just that this was the first time in a while I've been so busy I couldn't collect them all, so I'm a little dissapointed I simply could not manage my time better... Thanks spriters, I wish I could get all your artwork! But seriously, is there a way to expand this event as so many people didn't manage to collect this large number of eggs? It wouldn't hurt anyone and would give us the extra time we need to collect the sprites we're missing...
  14. Wonderful release, both breeds are absolutely beautiful! Congratulations to the artists, and thanks to everyone involved for a nice release!
  15. Ooooh, I know these Pygmies, hype!! Gusties look neat too, definitely looking forward to adults!
  16. Congratulations to both artists, the dragons are lovely, I really like both adults. Also thank you TJ for a nice release.
  17. Where can these be found? I'm very late to the party...
  18. Kudos to the artists, the hatchies look super cute, and to TJ for introducing them and such cool new features. EDIT. some feedback to the old-new sprites, quite like the look of Reds, but still getting used to the new Seasonals (I don't mind too much the changes in Summer and Winter dragons and think they're done well, but something is nagging me when looking at Fall female sprites, can't put my finger on it, if it's the shading or what, but it'll take me a while to adjust to them). I still appreciate the effort and the good intentions going into this revamp and understand the site needs to go with the times, but it's always either a hit or miss with these things for me.
  19. I don't really see a problem here, you'd simply remember to Ward your eggs (it'd have to apply for hatchies as well, like I said Ward in its current form is not as useful as it could be) before casting Teleport and it wouldn't get sick in the first place. Sure, it'd take a bit of foreplanning, but so does trading and creating teleport links, people would just use one BSA after another. But sure, if Whites could cast Ward on teleported eggs as well that'd be perfectly fine by me, the simpler the better - and if that's too difficult to code, making a new teleport for a newly Warded egg isn't exactly something too difficult imo. My reasoning here is - Teleport is for teleporting eggs, that's what it does. Ward is the BSA that was given to us to help protect all growing things from sickness, but in its current form it's too short and too severely limited to be really useful. While I'd be perfectly fine if eggs were invulnerable under the protection of the teleport spell, I still feel that should be Ward's function. But I'd be fine with anything really.
  20. I've never had many problems with sickness before this Valentine event (and even that was my fault for leaving my eggs unfogged). Sickness always compelled me to be careful about how I handle my eggs and in a way, gives me the feeling I'm actually raising something while keeping an eye on that little bunch of pixels. But yeah, sickness does seem to creep up everywhere recently and I also feel that we should probaly have some more effective way to protect our eggs and hatchlings in situations where fogging can't be applied (like in teleports). I just posted about this on another thread, but I still feel Ward could be the answer to all the sickness issues if only it'd get tweeked and improved. Perhaps change Ward so it can protect eggs and hatchies alike + make the protection time longer (and can be used more then once per egg/hatchie)? And it'd fit the breed with ' extremely strong healing magic ' perfectly + it'd still take some effort from the player to protect their eggs (like with fogging) so this aspect of gameplay would be preserved (sorry, I hope this makes sense, it's late and I'm rambling :P).
  21. This was my first thought as well. Teleport would take the effect ward should have - don't get me wrong, I'm not against any idea that would effectively stop eggs from getting sick and I'd probably use it in this way too (it's finally give my Magi's something to do), but wouldn't it make more sense to simply make Ward more effective? Because in its current form, the protection it offers is simply to short (six hours isn't even enough to safely leave your eggs over night while you sleep + it can be only used once per egg, so it's usefulness is severely hampered,). Why not alter the already existing code and make Ward be able to protect for 12-24 hrs and be able to be cast more then once per egg and solve the problem?
