  1. Desmond sighed when Alas said he could show off his magic. "Should have said you wanted to kick Chance outta here." He mumbled, but leaned towards Chance. "What is it you need help with though, my old friend?" He asked, a bored expression on his face.

"I'm gonna go ask someone out." Chance smiled. Desmond frowned and looked down, and Chance tilted his head. "Jones?"

Desmond looked up and slapped his cheeks, then he stood and looked across the field. "So who's the lucky kid?" He looked at Chance. "You probably won't actually need any magic to help you with it, though. You're a pretty cool guy."

Chance stood as well and looked at someone across the field. "It's Taylor Nichols." Desmond whistled and Chance nudged his shoulder. "Yeah, you know that story. Help me out."

"Yes, yes. Make the probability that Taylor Nichols will say yes to Chance's question like, ninety-six percent." Desmond snapped his fingers and Chance punched his arm. He rubbed his arm and looked at Chance.

    "Why only ninety-six percent?"

"I'm not entirely rooting for you. Go on and ask that kid out. There's a ninety-six percent chance he'll say yes." Desmond waved Chance away and Chance's partner watched him leave. She then turned her attention back to Desmond.

"Why aren't you rooting for him?"

"Because I don't like Taylor Nichols." Desmond muttered, sitting next to Alas again. "You can leave now, Marina. I'm getting to know my partner, and you're scaring him. So, leave." He paused and looked at Chance, who looked nervous in front of a boy. "Chance will find you after he's done with Taylor."

Marina watched Desmond, then smiled. "You like him." Desmond tensed and Marina sighed, reaching over and patting Desmond's head. "I'm rooting for you, Dez."

"Bye, Marina." Desmond said. Marina turned and followed after Chance. Desmond looked back at Alas. "So, my magic is dumb. What's yours like?"

  2. Dez was surprised that Alas had answered all of his questions, although he didn't catch most of the answers because the boy was talking too fast. He caught that he was kind of afraid of ghosts and that his magic wasn't very stable, and he looked back at Alas when he mentioned his granddad. "You're only here because of your grandpa? What does that mean?" He asked, confused. He had gotten into the school because he had passed the test to get in. Had Alas not taken the test and had it easy getting in? He frowned. If that was the case, then his partner had to have good magic. "What kind of magic do you even have?"

"Jones!" Desmond turned at the sound of his name and saw Chance, who was walking towards the two. Desmond looked back at Alas, but then looked at Chance. "Hey, can you help me with something?" Chance asked, waving to Alas.

"Depends on what you need help with." Desmond said, watching Chance. He noticed Chance's partner standing behind him and frowned, but he quickly covered it with a smile. "I may just refuse you anyways. You could have your partner help you instead."

Chance frowned and crouched in front of Desmond, who leaned back. "She won't be able to help me with this. I need you to help me be lucky." Desmond frowned and Chance smiled nervously. "It's just a quick request, Jones! I'll get out of your hair after it's done."

"Did you tell her about my magic, Chance?" Desmond asked, nodding towards Chance's partner. "I made sure to have you promise to not tell anyone."

"No, I didn't tell her! I just said that you'd help me out with something that only you could help me out with." Desmond looked away from Chance at this and Chance clasped his hands together. "Please, Jones! I won't ask for anything ever again."

Desmond watched Chance, then he looked back at Alas. "You don't mind me showing off my amazing magical abilities, do you?" He asked sarcastically. "This idiot loves my magic, honestly. It's not anything amazing though." He shrugged. "If you'd rather they leave that's fine too. It's all completely up to you, Alas."

  3. Desmond looked at Alas when he sat next to him, then he looked at his tail when he wrapped it around his feet. He frowned and thumped his tail against the grass again, then he reached down and poked his partners tail. "I'm jealous of you." He tugged on his tail, then let go of it and looked around. "Mine's short." He said. He wouldn't say why it was short, though. He pointed to his ears and looked at Alas. "Do you have ears?" He asked, his own ears flicking when his hands touched them.

He leaned back and stretched, watching Alas as he did so. He wanted to know why this kid was his partner. He needed to find out more about him, though. "So," he straightened, "how old are you? What's your favorite food? Do you like animals?" He looked away, then looked at Alas out of the corner of his eye. "You afraid of ghosts? You seem like a kid who'd be afraid of ghosts. Hm, just tell me about yourself, I guess. Kind of important that we get to know each other, I would imagine. Not that I have much interest in that." He looked away from Alas then, and turned his attention to his crush.

  4. Desmond watched lazily as other students met their partners, wondering who it was he was going to be partnered with. Would it be a boy or a girl, or something else? Would they be rude or would they be kind? Would he remember who they were once they walked up? He surely didn't recognize the name, and he knew he would remember it if the kid had left a decent impression on him. Well, he knew that wasn't true. He had forgotten a lot of his childhood due to the accident.

He was watching a girl and boy meet when he realized there was someone standing in front of him. He looked at who it was and saw his name on the sign, then he looked up at the kid. He thought the kid was a girl, but then he spoke and Desmond realized he had been wrong. He kept quiet as the boy spoke and noted the stutter, and he looked him up and down. He seemed short and unhealthy, and he had freckles all over his face. Desmond wondered if he was really a girl, since his hair was long, but he quickly forgot the thought when he realized he had a hat on his head. Did he not have ears? Or was he ashamed of his ears? He briefly thought of his own tail, then thumped it against the grass and sighed.

"So you're Alasdair Brown." He looked at his sign. "Dalais-Brown, I mean. That's quite a name you have. I'll just call you Alas. You can call me Clovis, or Dez, or Jones." He said, looking him over again. "You're pretty short, huh? Well, I'm pretty short too, so it's whatever." He moved over in the grass and pat the space beside him. "Come on and sit down, Alas. I don't bite." He smirked, then. "Much." His smirk quickly disappeared. "No, I'm joking. I don't bite poor kids who look terrified."

He heard people giggle and looked over at them, but he quickly looked away. So his crush had been called out too, huh? Hopefully nothing bad would happen to him. He looked back at Alas, wondering why it was that this kid was his partner. Did he have awful magic too? Did his magic always benefit everyone other than himself? He didn't know.

  5. "Attention, students. As many of you are aware, there have been threats to the government about destroying monuments and assassinating important individuals. The government has decided to prepare for these attacks and put together a team of partnered students to train. Our school, Occisor College, has been asked to gather several partnered students together to test their magic powers. The following students have been chosen. If you hear your name called, then please report to the back field as soon as possible."

Desmond picked up his book and started reading, barely even listening to the announcement. He didn't care about whatever was happening to the government, as it didn't even concern him. The government should just be able to handle their problems by themselves and not gather a group of kids together to fight the enemy group. That just seemed like a bad idea.

He turned the page, then heard a familiar name over the announcement. He paused mid-turn and looked at the ceiling, then he heard his classmates start whispering about him. "Victoria Hammon, Desmond Jones, Alasdair..." He slammed his book shut and huffed, then he grabbed his bag and stood from his seat. He ignored his classmates conversations and quickly left the classroom, ignoring his teachers fearful look.

Once the door had closed (and had almost fallen on top of him), he let out a sigh and looked at the students who were also in the hallway. He couldn't believe he had been called. There had to be a mistake. His magic wasn't even anything good. He couldn't fight anyone with it, and he couldn't really use it to hurt anyone. Well, that second part was a lie, but he didn't want to use it to hurt anyone.

He watched a girl walk past him and saw she was busy texting on her phone, then he looked ahead and saw someone had spilled a drink on the floor. "Make the probability that she'll slip and fall zero percent." He whispered, snapping his fingers. He then put his bag on and walked ahead, watching as the girl walked over the puddle of spilled drink without even slipping. He heard her gasp in surprise and heard the person who had spilled the drink say how lucky she was, then he heaved a sigh and left the building.

It didn't take him long to find the back field, and as soon as he had seen it he was ushered into a line and told to wait. He didn't know what was going on, but he soon found out that everyone was getting a sign with their partners name on it so that their partner would have an easier time finding them. He groaned and looked around, wondering if his partner was here yet. He couldn't remember his partners name, or what they even looked like, or what their gender even was. He didn't see his name, and soon was at the front of the line getting told what to do. He listened to what the teacher said, then got handed a sign with the name Alasdair Dalais-Brown on it. He frowned, but took the sign and went to sit in the field.

  6. Kohaku smiled when the girl introduced herself, then she smiled more when the girl started talking about her favorite character. "Well, Masumoto-san, I agree. Authors always want to kill off the interesting characters. Honestly, the author could just kill off the main character and I wouldn't be upset about it." She waved her hand, then heard thunder boom outside. She looked out the window and frowned. It was still dark outside.

She turned her attention back to Kumiko. "How long have you been a fan of the series? I've been a fan since the very first book, but I've been a follower since the authors last novel, "Those Who Sin", if you've heard of it?" She leaned forward in her seat. "All of the authors books are actually fantastic. But, honestly, this series is one of the best series out there. Well, there are a lot of series out there, but this one is definitely my favorite. The characters just draw you in and the writing style just makes you want to finish the book in one sitting." She realized she was talking fast and covered her mouth, smiling behind her fingers. "Sorry, I don't have anyone to talk to about this at home, so I just got kind of excited."

She leaned back in her chair and reached forward to grab her drink, then quickly took a drink of it. She watched Kumiko for a bit, then looked around the bookstore, then she looked back at Kumiko. "I'm honestly a nerd when it comes to this series. It's kind of embarrassing." She smiled sheepishly and set her drink down, then pulled down her hat. "Sorry for talking so fast. I hardly let you say anything. I'll try to be more quiet."

Naoto jumped when his phone buzzed in his pocket, and he moved away from the wall and quickly ducked into a store to look at his phone. The girl behind the counter stared at him, and he heard some people in the back of the store laugh at him. He flushed and looked at his phone, then sighed when he saw it was Kumiko. So she was safe. That was a huge relief. He could go home now and dry off.

"Excuse me, sir, but are you..." He looked up when he heard the girl behind the counter start speaking and he watched her eyes widen. He held a finger to his mouth and smiled, and the girl covered her mouth.

"Keep it a secret just between the two of us, alright?" He winked at her, then turned and left the store. He sighed and turned away from the store, walking down the sidewalk. He had been spotted, and now that girl was going to go and run off and tell all of her friends. His manager would then yell at him and he would have to say that it was just a mistake, and it would just turn into something awful. He probably wouldn't be able to leave his house ever again, honestly. All because a fangirl recognized him.

He sighed again and ran his hand through his hair, pushing his bangs back and on top of his head. He heard a tiny meow somewhere and he looked around, squinting to try and get a better look. He sighed when he just saw blurry shapes and jumped when thunder boomed above him, then yelped when he felt someone grab his shoulder. He turned and saw it was the girl from earlier, and he felt himself pale.

"Oh my god, it is you! I can't believe it! Can I get your autograph?" He moved away from the girl, but she followed after him. "Oh wow, I can't believe this! I listen to your songs all the time, I've been a fan since the very beginning!"

Naoto groaned and looked back at the girl, then he heard another meow and looked across the street. He saw a blurry shape of someone carrying a box, then looked back at the girl, who was rambling on about something. "Hey, uh," he squinted at her nametag, "Nagisa-chan, I'm glad your a fan of my work. Really, I appreciate it a lot. But, Nagisa-chan, its pouring out here and you're getting completely drenched. Why not go back to your workplace and wait until the storm ends? That'd make me feel better, since I can't stand the sight of a pretty girl like you getting soaked." He flashed a smile and saw the girl blush, and he took it as his cue to leave. "I'll make sure to keep an eye out for you at the next concert, but I really have to go." He started across the street and looked back at the girl. He saw she looked stunned and he quickly crossed the street, hoping she wouldn't follow him.

He approached the person with the box and grabbed their shoulders, then leaned in close to them. "Please help me, there's a girl who's basically my stalker following me. I'll help you with the kittens, so please, help me get rid of the girl." He looked back across the street and saw the girl was crossing, then he paled when she called his idol name.

He let go of the persons shoulders and moved in front of them, than squinted at them to try and place their gender. He figured it was a boy and clicked his tongue, but he soon grabbed the box of kittens from the boy. "If you want these kittens back, you have to help me get rid of that girl, boy!" He said, going into an alley. He heard the kittens protest but shushed them, then looked back to see if the boy would follow him.

He didn't know what he'd do with the kittens if the boy didn't follow him. He was hoping the boy would follow him. He was really hoping the boy would follow him. He needed someone to help him get rid of the girl and he had picked the boy because he had been around. Plus, he looked close to Naoto's age, and he probably didn't recognize him as the idol Hibiki. That was the most important thing right now. Well, that, and getting the kittens somewhere warm. He didn't know how he was going to get his plan in action, and he didn't think taking the kittens was actually a good idea. But, he had done it and there was now no going back.

    Name: Desmond Clovis Jones

Nicknames: Dez, Clovis, Jones (basically everything but his full first name)

    Age: 18

    Gender: Male

Appearance: //casually describes him// Dez has lightly tanned skin with several cuts and bruises and scars covering it. He has gray-blue eyes and blonde hair that has brown undertones (how am i going to color that omg). He sometimes wears glasses, but he really only does so whenever he's in school. He stands at 5'5 and has fluffy ears but a bobbed tail. He wears pricey clothing whenever he's in school, but outside of school he wears hand-me-downs from his uncle. Something that he's always wearing is a skin tight black tank top with a collar that comes up to the middle of his neck. He wears jewelry sometimes, but when he does so it's only a necklace or bracelet.

Personality: Dez would be classified as the cool kid who doesn't say much in class, although he doesn't think of himself as this at all. He's actually a quiet boy because he doesn't really ever have anything nice to say to people, and even when he does have something nice to say to people it usually comes out wrong. He isn't necessarily a bad person, but he usually judges people by their appearance before he gets to know them. He has learned that this isn't a good trait of his and is trying to change it, but he's not very good at it.

Besides that, Dez is intelligent and observant. He prefers watching people instead of talking to people, and he prefers nature to humans. He can be friendly at times, but if you do one thing to upset him, he'll become very sarcastic and generally unpleasant. He's rather hard to please and when someones upset him and, unless they apologize, he won't be nice to them again. When he meets someone new, he doesn't become overly friendly or kind and is instead very blunt with his introduction.

Of course, this is mostly all due to him being a guarded person. When someone gets to know him, then his real self comes out and he's much easier to get to know. He's just not that easy to convince to let down his guard, oops.

Some actually good traits about Dez is that he's curious about a lot of things and he's gentle to animals and people who need to be helped. He helps people out when they need it, and he can become very focused on something when the time calls for it. He isn't discriminating towards anyone and has a rather open-mind about all sorts of stuff, but he's kind of stubborn and doesn't like pulling away from a plan once its been decided. He just, is. kind of guarded I'm sorry alas ur love interest is kind of a jerk-ish im sorry--

Magic Power: Luck/Probability Manipulation - Dez can manipulate the outcome of events and make the outcome either bad or good. He can manipulate the luck of others as well, and he prefers to do this instead of manipulating the outcome of events.

    Other:

✿ He cannot manipulate his own luck, and instead is basically just jinxed with bad luck. Usually, things break when he messes with them, he drops things all the time, falls over, and just has a pretty bad time. He's gotten used to this and doesn't even react to anything bad that happens to him anymore - he just blames it on his curse (even if it wasn't actually the curses fault).

✿ He has an older sister who lives with her partner, and he lives with his mom and uncle. He talks to his sister a lot, and they're kind of like best friends.

✿ His family is moderately wealthy, but they don't like in a big house or anything. His mom wants him to do the best he can and supports him all the time, but Dez doesn't really get along with her. His mom doesn't use magic anymore, his uncle has air magic and his sister can manipulate energy. All of the members of his family can turn into cats because of a spell that was cast on his mother, father and uncle long ago. His family has lots of dark secrets.

✿ He's the cool kid at school and lots of his classmates like him, even though he doesn't really talk to any of them.

✿ He has scars on his body that he doesn't like anyone to see, which is why he's always wearing the black tank top.

✿ He currently has a crush on someone, but it's not going to work out since he and Alasdair are destined to be together.

    ✿ Likes ✿

Apples, cheese, being in his cat form, being alone, when good things happen to him, being outside, playing the violin, idiots, school drama and white chocolate.

    ✿Dislikes ✿

His bobtail, his magic power, his curse, his mom (kind of/it's complicated), parents/most adults, people who try to worry about/baby him, having to defend himself, exercising, oversleeping, idiots, most of his classmates, people staring at him, forests, fish, most unnaturally sugary sweets, blood/gore and bugs.

(More will be added over time, or I might get rid of some stuff ahahahahaha)

  8. Kohaku wondered if she had woke the girl when she had looked at the black haired teen. Had the girl been sleeping? She had seemed surprised, but Kohaku thought that might just be because she was sitting somewhere rather hidden from the public eye. She smiled graciously when the girl gave a sound of agreement and slid into the seat across from her, quietly observing her. She watched as the girl pulled her hood up and wondered if she was trying to hide her embarrassment or if she was trying to hide something else, but she just shrugged the thought off and took a drink of her apple spice.

She looked across the bookstore, then out of the windows. It was still pouring down rain. Was it ever going to stop? Storms this extreme didn't usually last for a long time. Did anyone even have any predictions for when it would stop? She hummed a tune quietly to herself and pulled her phone out of her bag, sighing when she saw that it hadn't gotten wet. She wasn't sure how exactly that had happened, but she was incredibly thankful that it didn't even get damp. She pulled up a weather app and looked at the forecast, then smiled. "The storms supposed to be over in fifteen minutes or so, according to my weather app." She directed this at the girl sitting across the table. "But while we're waiting for it to end, we should chat some." She smiled again and hoped she was coming off as friendly.

Usually, she would just ignore whoever was sitting next to her and watch them for a bit, but she was curious about the girl and wanted to try talking with her. She wasn't sure why this girl had piqued her interest, but she was going to let her interest take over and just talk. "My name is Takei Kohaku. You can just call me Kohaku, though. It's easy. Or if you want to, you could call me Takei. But everyone calls me Kohaku." She took another drink from her mug and looked at the girl. "Do you come to this bookstore often?" She hoped that was a nice conversation starter and watched the girl, waiting for her reply. If she gave a reply. She might be too shy to say anything. Kohaku wasn't sure.

    ---

The sudden downpour was not what Naoto had been expecting. He had told Kumiko, who had been going out today, that it was going to be nice. When he heard the thunder, he had realized he had been mistaken and went out to find his sister and bring her home safely. He had forgotten to bring any protective clothing to keep the water off of him, and was now completely drenched. He had forgotten his hat, which was a very bad idea. He had hoped very strongly that no one would recognize him, because seeing a soaked idol would definitely be something his fans would love to hear about. He also was absolutely not thrilled about being out with the thunder, but he tried to keep a cool face while he was walking. However, he couldn't help but flinch whenever there was a boom from the sky. He didn't like loud noises, or the fact that he was very uneasy whenever there was a crack of lightning, but he felt responsible for bringing his sister home. He didn't want her to get hurt by a tree falling over, or get hit by a car or anything bad like that. Plus, it was dark, and when it was dark all sorts of creeps came out.

He shook his head and pushed the thoughts away. Kumiko was probably safe in the bookstore she was going to. This bookstore was what Nao was trying to find, but he had forgotten to ask her about it before she had left. He had no idea where the bookstore was, as he went to a smaller one that was hidden away from the large crowds, but he knew that he had to find the bookstore Kumiko went to. It'd be the only way for him to get her home safely. He jumped when there was a flash of lightning above him and braced himself for the thunder that soon followed. Oh, he absolutely hated storms. Why did nature like to scare him with its awful, booming skies? He ran his hand through his drenched hair and pushed his bangs back, then took off his glasses. They were covered with water and the water just ruined his vision. He'd rather have a hard time seeing than have to squint through the water droplets on his glasses. He looked around and frowned, feeling kind of lost. He knew where he was in relation to his house, but he had no idea where he was in relation to the bookstore he was trying to find. Maybe, he thought, I should just go home. He frowned at the thought and pushed his bangs back again, then squared his shoulders and continued walking ahead. He wanted to find his sister and make sure she was safe, at the very least.

He pulled out his phone, then quickly put it back away. He couldn't text Kumiko when he was outside. He wanted to, but with the weather being as bad as it was, he didn't want to risk losing his phone to the water. He nervously pulled on the hem of his jacket. He had messaged her over and over and over again and she hadn't responded yet. He figured that might just be because she didn't hear her phone or the bookstore didn't have reception, but he was also very worried. If something had happened to her . . . He sighed and ran his hands through his hair, then moved over to the side of the road and stopped next to an alley. He needed to calm down. The likelihood of something actually happening to her was very thin. He was just overly worried. Thunder boomed above him and he covered his ears, squeezing his eyes shut. He thought, once again, that he should just go home.

  9. The helicopter had exploded. It hadn’t been a part of Iori’s plan – he had just wanted to have a dramatic arrival. Well, he supposed that his arrival had been dramatic, but he had no idea if his parents had survived the explosion or not. He had been too afraid to go back to check on the wreckage. He didn’t want to see his parents dead bodies. He didn’t want to know if they lived or not. He would whether wait for the adults to find the helicopter and find out if there were any survivors that way than experience the truth in person.

The small sixteen year old wrung his jacket out and shook his head in a fruitless attempt to dry himself. He had jumped out of the helicopter and landed in the ocean before it had exploded, but because of that his entire person was drenched from head to toe. He wiped at his eyes and chewed on his lower lip. He didn’t know if his parents were alive. He had to find someone to help. He just needed to find an adult and he could tell them what had happened. He took a deep breath and let it out slowly, then decided to look around and see where he had crawled out of the water. His mouth dropped open when he saw the forest in front of him and he realized he was feeling light headed. He wasn’t prepared for this at all. He hadn’t even explored many forests in England. How was he possibly going to traverse this one and arrive to the school on time?

He sighed and looked further down the coast, then he saw a dock and some people gathering around the wrecked copter. He watched the scene for a couple of moments, then decided to duck into the forest and simply skirt around the mess he had caused. He moved close to the trees but paused, afraid of what might possibly be lurking in the darkness. He set his jaw and shook his head. He just had to find the adults and go to class.

It took him a shorter amount of time to find his way to the entrance to the school then he thought it would have. He, thankfully, hadn’t been bothered by anything in the forest, and now he was looking around a wall into what seemed to be a courtyard. He felt his stomach flip when he saw someone who looked like an adult in front of a bunch of other teenagers. He was late, and soaking wet, and he didn’t even have his uniform or Branch yet. He scanned the students for anyone else who might be able to help him, and he spotted someone with blue hair off to the corner. He didn’t think that person was a teacher, but they were only surrounded by a few people and they were away from the main group.

Iori wiped at his face again and looked at his hands, which he often did whenever he thought he might be injured, and frowned. There was blood on his hands. He looked his arms over and saw there was a fairly deep cut on his left arm, and he let out a sigh. He must look like a wreck. A bleeding, soaking wet, tiny wreck. He looked back at the person with blue hair to make sure they were still where they had been and he quietly walked over to them. He stayed quiet until he was close enough to be heard, and he cleared his throat. “Excuse me, sorry, but Mr. Blue. Can I ask you to show me where it is the office might be located?”

  10. Username: littlelizzie

    Name: Iori Kobayashi

    Age: 16

    Gender: Male

    Romantic Orientation: Homoromantic

Appearance: Iori is very short for his age, standing at a whopping 4'7. He weighs close to 100lbs and is surprisingly fit: however, if he were to suck in his stomach, his ribcage would become fairly visible. He has a slightly visible backbone, small wrists and knobby knees and elbows. He is pale because he cannot tan, and as a result has quite a few freckles from being out in the sun so much. He has several faded small scars along his hands, elbows, knees and arms that stayed with him as he grew up. He has one particular scar that goes down almost the entire length of his right arm, but hardly anyone knows that he has it because he always wears long sleeve shirts to hide it. He often sports a bandaid or two somewhere on his body as he gets scratched up very easily.

Iori has a rather appealing face that some may call cute. He has round eyes with a slight upwards slant, that he sometimes doesn’t like, and a cute button nose. He has his tongue pierced and his left earlobe is pierced. There aren’t that many freckles on his face, but the occasional one does pop up here and there on his cheeks and nose. He dyed his hair bright pink before he came to the academy, and it hasn’t faded quite yet, so it’s still very bright pink. He cuts his own hair, and as a result of this has many unbalanced layers. His bangs are choppy and are often messy, and they often flip out on either side of his face which annoys him to no end. His eyes are a medium brown and reflect his emotions.

He does not like the school uniform and has found a way to sneak around wearing the blazer: he simply wears a dark gray, almost black, over-sized sweater. He also doesn’t know how to tie ties or bowties, so he’s substituted the required neckwear for a dark purple scarf. He does wear the regular slacks, but he rolls them up into capri’s. His shoes are black high top converse, but they are very beat up and have ducktape covering holes and cuts in the fabric. He keeps his branch on a pin, and he attaches his pin to his left shoe (making sure to tape it so that it doesn’t fall off). Sometimes he attaches his branch to his clothes, but he much rather prefers to have it on his shoes.

Personality: Seemingly always smiling, Iori has a happy-go-lucky personality. He doesn’t try to let many things phase him, and he doesn’t understand why some people are so mean to other people. He would much rather be friends with everyone than have people hate him, and he’ll do pretty much anything to get people to like him. He can be very polite, but he does not let anyone push him around and will defend anything that he believes in. Because of where he grew up and who he was friends with, his politeness is actually him being rather sarcastic. Not many people are able to tell, though, and he just comes off as a polite boy. He has a good sense of humor and tries to make jokes, but sometimes his voice isn’t very loud and he sometimes falters so he’s not always heard. Around new people, he is a lot more reserved and watches interactions to figure out when a good time to interject is.

Whenever he’s friends with someone, he’s a lot louder and people often tell him to shut up. He likes to talk and gossip, and he’s not the best at keeping secrets. He isn’t one to brag about anything, though, and he’s not conceited and he doesn’t put himself above others (unless he’s joking). He is usually the loudest and boldest one out of his group of friends, but he can also get embarrassed and shy. He knows when it’s appropriate to be quiet, but he sometimes gets over excited and forgets to use his inside voice. He usually thinks faster than he can speak and often stumbles over his words, and he loves to use his hands as a form of communication. He uses signals with his friends and enjoys teaching them new signals (that he often makes up and then forgets). He makes sure that all of his friends have a special handshake and he tries to include them all in everything he does. He also likes to send them random messages and he has gotten in trouble for writing notes in class.

He has rebellious streak to him and sometimes does some things people tell him not to do. He doesn’t understand why people are so concerned about the safety of his body, mostly because he knows it’ll heal by itself eventually, and because of his lack of understanding he often does very stupid and dangerous things. His pain tolerance is incredibly high and he never cries over any injuries he receives. He also does not realize he's bleeding unless it soaks his clothes or if somebody points it out. He just doesn't care about any injuries, but if he knows it's important to be looked at then he'll go to an adult and tell them about it. To say the least, he has definitely broken some bones before because of stupid stuff he’s done. Ironically, he does not like anyone he knows getting hurt or sick and will give them bandaids and pamper them until they feel better. He will take up anyone who dares him, and unless someone pulls him away or convinces him it isn’t actually worth it, he’ll go through with it. Some people might consider him stupid in that sense, but he is actually a smart boy.

Put simply, Iori is very extroverted and loves talking to people. He doesn’t think about his body and is very reckless, and he won’t back down from a challenge. Because he is new to school, he’s trying to keep his personality toned down, but sooner or later it’s going to come forth. He can’t wait to make friends, but he does miss his friends back in England.

History: Iori was born in Japan and lived there for two years, but his parents decided to live in England instead and moved there. He has lived in England from the age of two, and he had lived a pretty happy life. He never had to worry about money problems and some might call him spoiled, but he never asked for more than what he needed and it was his parents who bought him all the gifts. There was nothing drastic that happened during his childhood and there weren’t any life altering events. His parents, who both had plenty of money stored away for them by their own families, often took Iori back to Japan so he could reconnect with his roots and meet his relatives.

When he was entering his teen years, he started to want to be more free and began rebelling and hung out with his friends more often. He often got injured during his escapades with his friends, and he had gotten in trouble by the police once or twice. His parents, who were very worried about their only child, tried to restrain him and keep him at home, but he always found a way to sneak out. He got in trouble very often when he was between the ages of thirteen and fifteen, but he has tried to mellow out and be more understanding towards his parents feelings. They now get along very well, but Iori still doesn't take care of his body and they are both very concerned for his safety. He has not told his parents about his sexuality because he knows their feelings on the issue and doesn't want to ruin the relationship he has with them.

When he first had heard of the demons, he thought that they were actually quite scary, but one of his friends dared him to apply to the academy. He didn’t want to, but he didn’t back down and took the test. He had always done good in school and he knew he was smart enough to pass them, and he had done good in gym and participated in sports so he wasn't concerned about either section of the test. He honestly wasn’t expecting to get in because he didn't really try that hard on the test and he honestly does not want to fight the demons because he's rather afraid of them. But, his friends dared him to do it, so he’s going to find a way to pull through and stay alive.

    Element: Water

Branch Color: This shade of purple.

Weapon: Kusarigama (still a WIP-ish thing)

Armor: Iori’s armor isn’t very protective, honestly. He wears several layers of shirts, the first one being a tight long sleeved shirt which only actually has one long sleeve (he’s cut the left sleeve off but kept the right one). The second layer is a simple tanktop and that is covered by a leather half breastplate. He wears a short sleeve hoodie over the other shirts. He wears a belt to keep his pants up, and his pants are tucked into knee-high boots. His boots are laced, and on the sides of them is a simple polka-dot design (maybe??).

Other: He’s naturally left handed, but he has become ambidextrous due to having broken his dominant wrist quite a few times. He uses his left hand to write and shake peoples hands. He knows three languages: Japanese, English and ASL. Also, his parents own a private helicopter just because they can and he's been up in it a few times. He eats a lot because he wants to be taller.

also, Dor, you can join if you want! you just have to tell me what emotion you want and if you want to make reserves on anything in the first post uvu (candy, weapon, etc)

  15. it sounds good, Den! the only thing i have to say is that you might have to edit the club, depending on what everyone votes for uvu

also: guys, please vote! we need to figure out a club and how they all met, and if they're all friends right now or if they're enemies or--- basically, just what everyone's relationship is to one another.

  16. psst lukos: you're sheet is good to go! (you can post the picture you drew of Issi to help visualize him, if you'd like~~). Just make sure you change his eye color aha

also guys!!! i am very very sorry for disappearing for a few days! it was only five days instead of a month, though This roleplay is still active and it is not dead. I've just been busy with life and stuff, but i should be good to go from here on out!

I'm going to work on my character, which I haven't been doing recently, and I'm going to figure out what the deal is with all the demons. If you haven't contacted me about magic (i cant remember who has and who hasnt), then please do so soon! (its just so i can review your characters magic and see if it's alright or not. its also to help you figure out your characters magic, if you havent already.)

i'm going to try to stay in the chatzy all day, but i cant guarantee that i'll be able to

  17. re: the magical outfit, does it have to be the same color/palette as the eye color of the character?

also for verification, eye color = color of our name on the op, right?

re: the outfit doesnt have to be the same color palette as the eye color, but i think it would be nice to have some kind of theme like that aha

and for verification: yes, the color on your preferred name on the first post should be the same eye color your character has.

and for those who are unclear on what is happening right now: i am filling in my character sheet and will be posting it on the thread as soon as i am done with it. if you want to post a sheet on here and work on it as well, there is no rule telling you you can;t do so! ALSO: IF YOU HAVE NOT TALKED TO ME ABOUT POWERS, THEN DO SO. I WANT TO MAKE SURE EVERYONE IS CLEAR ON THE MAGICAL ASPECT. PM me or message me over skype.

also pssst secret conspirator, we need to talk about the demons and stuff. hit me up okay okay

  18. well, Captain America uses a shield as a weapon. however, it just depends on if you want to make the shield a weapon or not for the roleplay. if you plan on just having your character protect people, then it wouldn't count as a weapon. if you plan on having your character use the shield to attack it would count as a weapon. (of course, you could just have your character use the shield for defense now and offense later, but that would mean you'd be putting a weapon on reserve)

  19. I said on both the character sheet template and in the chatzy that up to three people can have a weapon. Just dont make it something too OP. (Hokestly, though, id prefer if we didnt use weapons but eh)

EDIT: i have removed the cap from the weapons. if you want a weapon, you can have one. if you dont want one right now but think of a weapon for later, i'll allow that as well.

  20. guys i've decided this is gonna be the OOC

we still need to figure out the club that all of the characters are in but we can just make a poll and do that later

also idk if you want to give this roleplay a proper name but right now the name is just magical kids omg

if you want to delete messages to make the thread look nicer thats fine uvu i just figured it would be better to make this the OOC so that we can talk and keep any questions here for looking back on, and so that we can keep all the character sheets in one place

but right now im going to go to bed because i am very tired

also: i dont know if you saw, but i updated the first post and made the second post the character template. please look at them and ask any questions you have in this thread or in the Chatzy also: im very tired and i may be harsh in some places, so i apologize. i'll go back and edit out any harshness i find unnecessary.

  21. omg yes sen agreed to do my request i am pleased

idk the purple haired guys name yet but the kid with the hat is named Dominic

they're best friends they've known each other since like seventh grade and Purple is always going and getting in trouble and Dom's mom is a cop so she's like "is your friend alright" and dom is like "i dont even know anymore" and they're cool until something happens....!!!

    your koji is cute omg

i tried to do that looking over the shoulder thing and it was really hard???

  22. You asked me to ask questions here so:

Do we have matching costumes? Are we having a set of elemental powers, or are the powers on a case-by-case basis? It would be nice to have a theme.

    …! We could be color-coded!

the theme is POSITIVE EMOTIONS!! they can be any kind of emotion: joy, love, trust, surprise, friendship, kindness, amusement, etc etc. We can also do color themes, yes. We just need to discuss about characters and figure out what colors we all want in the Chatzy

Ah, this looks so interesting! I hope you don't mind if I nab a spot.

A quick question though. Does everyone only have one power or can they have multiple powers? For example, I was planning for my character to be have telekinesis and be able to turn themselves incorporeal at the expense of not being able to touch anything themselves. Would that be alright or would I have no narrow down the powers?

omg yes you can nab a spot doc <33

ummm i think for the sake of simplicity, they only can have one power. they can train the power and find ways to manipulate it, but they can only have one ; u ; so you'd have to chose between telekinesis or incorporeal-ness
