But I thought you couldn't do that after someone else had posted on it. I seem to remember in this Help forum people wanting to get rid of posts and not being able to because someone else had posted an answer.

OK - when we are both next on, let's test that !

    Well @purplehaze

I set up a test thread, ruby posted there, I posted after her - and then I  successfully hid it. So - yes you can !

    Here's the thread. NOT !

    https://forums.dragcave.net/topic/188535-to-test-deleting-a-thread/

It was there with posts - ruby can testify.

Yes I'm aware that I had to go into my Cave Account settings which is what I was meaning on the question asked. It wouldn't let me change my email since it's saying it's already in use.  My cave account is currently under my old email which is pretty much a dead one that I haven't used in years. I tried to change it to my other email that is getting messages from Dragcave's forums, but of course it's telling me that its already in use because as some of the replies above have stated that the forums and cave accounts are separate.

Does this mean I cannot put it on my cave account regardless because I'm already using it on the forums?

No - I use the same email for both, and I'm sure many of us do.

But if you do as 11th suggests, that should show you what scroll it thinks it needs a new password for !

  4. I am pretty sure you can if it was your thread, as there was a TLQ from someone not so long ago who had actually DONE that and couldn't find it to put it back.

    I'll go try....

Yes you can. You have the option when you go to edit the first post:

And when you check hide and save, you get.

  5. Welcome to the Photography Contest!

Welcome back for another round of the DC Photography contest, come and show us what you've got!

This time, the theme is: Vegetables

    Submission deadline: March 19

    Voting deadline: March 29

    Rules:

    - One entry per person.

    - A photograph is defined as an image made using a camera or phone camera

    - Screenshots are not allowed

    - Picture has to be made by yourself and can't be just a reproduction of someone's work. If someone else's work is in the picture, there needs to be something extra.

    - No manipulation besides basic photo adjustments (contrast, exposure, cropping, color balance, lighting, etc.).

    - No text or framing in the photo. A signature/watermark is just fine, but it's preferable if you don't have "O Hai Eye Hav3 T3XT" (or something similar) present in the photo.

    - When voting, please don't select your own image. This will ensure fairness.

    - You are free to submit an old photo; you don't need to take a new one just for this competition.

    - Winner hosts the next contest.

Scroll sitters are not an official part of the game.

Not everyone uses the forums. Not everyone has online friends who play or would remember to throw a username in a website. Not all absences allow for someone to tell their friend to babysit some pixel eggs.

Scroll sitters should not be a factor in deciding what the restrictions of this are.

No indeed, but I just mentioned them because someone said there was no way to mind your scroll if life bit you in the bum. And they can be a way - it seemed useful to point this out to someone who had clearly never thought of it. In case life does it to them some time.

Because you can deliberately kill a hatchie and revive it. I don't think there should be separate rules for the two.

Revival is a super low chance anyway.

That's only because you can make a hatchie into a zombie. There's a game-specific mechanic tied to reviving hatchies, one that there is not in terms of an egg.
