  1. Dark brown, straight, and nearly waist length. I'm trying to see how long I can get it.
  2. Why should that be weird? Seems to me your Asatru, thats all. I'm going in that direction myself, plus a healthy dose of Wicca and a bit shamanistic practice *g*
  3. Unless its for scientific reasons like a natural history museum AND the animals died naturally.. thanks, but no thanks. It gives me the creeps, animal trophies, so some guys get a kick out of it.... no, i'd rather have the hunters stuffed and mounted on a a wall. In my opinion, taxidermy amounts to killing for fun.and that is in my opinion absolutely not acceptable.

  6. I am very much a tea afficionado. Drink it every day, several times *g*. My favourite is darjeeling, second flush, but I also like nilgiri and the occasional friesian. A wonderful tea garden is margarets hope, if You can get some from there. Chai is great for cold days or classic yogi tea. Herbal and fruity or flowery teas for in between. Green with lemon or ginger or even pure ginger. Yasmine is great with asian food.... What i don't like is roibush or mate.
  7. You 're avoiding the argument. I conclude You cannot refute it then. Point for me . (The argument being that traditions should not be kept because tradition in itself is a value)
  8. Ah, so You think every tradition should be kept intact because tardition is a value in itself? [sarcasm on] Very well.... so..what if I might like to go back to the good old roman tradition of feeding Christians to the lions? Or maybe we could could burn some witches? Hm..or maybe (I'm heathen) I would like to make some human sacrifices? All traditional.... so I suppose You are all for it? [sarcasm off]
  9. Just a quick aside... Fur industry/factory farming ARE cruel...
  10. Moonstone x nebula resulted in a moonstone
  11. And thats just the thing, that makes vegans and vegetarians really angry. Teasing about bacon, stupid jokes about how vegans take your foods food away, kids come in, dinner's wilting.... ..etc etc.. That IS pressuring... And people are wondering why we get aggressive now and then... *shakeshead*.

  13. Ambidextrous, I do my writing right handed, pretty much everything else with the left, including mouse *g*
  14. Absolutely against this. Long term effects are not known and its not necessary, the world hunger problem could easily be solved if people ate less meat. 90% of the worlds soy production is grown for feeding animals. Use that 90 % for people instead for animals and nobody would go hungry and there would be much less co2 output as about half of the worlds co2 output stems from mass breeding animals. Genetically manipulated seed makes farmes dependent on companies like monsanto, who as a result can ask whatever prices they want for their stuff, as its patented or sterile hybrids. S
  15. I've been gifted a very nice 5th even gen Thuwed Holly this Year *g* http://dragcave.net/lineage/Y8lBC My internet is just too slow to catch one myself, even though I tried for years now . But I saw quite a lot of them when breeding started in the AP.
  16. Does it start December 19th, 0.00 or December 19th 24.00 ?*scratcheshead* I mean is the countdown on and in 8 hours the fun begins? Or 32 hours ? Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I never know what is exactly meant by midnight, start or end of day *g*
  17. I have a 66 gallon tank that is home to two 30 year old spotted talking catfish (Agamyxis pectinifrons) and a host of platyfish to keep them some company.

  22. Vegan cake for everybody in this thread *g*. Carrot-ginger-coconut cake. (My B-day cake)
  23. @ shinytomato: It is not possible to feed EVERY child strictly vegan. Her child in particular, had an intolerance that made it impossible for her to feed the child a vegan diet and have the child thrive. She had a severe case of intolerance to Fermentable Oligosaccharides Disaccharides Monosaccharides and Polyols, which made the child physically sick on many of the necessary vegetables and plant products needed to get those nutrients. . It depends on the vegan and the child in question, which is why education can sometimes help. But You didn't say that the child i
  24. As to prices, vegan products are often more expensive but I noticed that I buy a lot less unnecessary other foodstuff like sweets etc so it balances out, at least for me *g*
