  1. I've forgotten how to knit, so I'm thinking of sewing this cat plushie instead: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/jiji-the-cat It's super cute. :3
  2. That sounds interesting! Maybe try the Multimedia section of the forums? http://forums.dragcave.net/index.php?showforum=7
  3. I would assume you get them whenever somebody sees your request and happens to have whatever it is that you're looking for.
  4. Thanks for the suggestion, RyuKaiser! I don't think there's a spreadsheet quite yet though, unless Afie started making one.
  5. The Ender's Game series by Orson Scott Card is really amazing. The Artemis Fowl series by Eoin Colfer is another well-known one that I love. Mercedes Lackey has a great series about dragons called The Dragon Jousters. Another great dragon series is the Temeraire series by Naomi Novik. As for individual books, I've always been a huge fan of dystopian novels like Orwell's Nineteen-Eighty Four and Huxley's Brave New World. And more!
  6. I haven't had it in awhile so I can't really remember what it tastes like. I think it was good the last time I had it though. Will have to get some this year. :3
  7. Because we're not allowed to bring laptops, I do my class notes with a blue pen, jot notes on the side with a mechanical pencil, and highlight important stuff in yellow, pink, and blue.
  8. I think I might just stop trying because failing all the time is just so disheartening. Seriously, we only ever get 2 of these things anyways. We can't trade them or breed them. I'm starting to think it's not worth it unless something changes so that the chances of success increase with every failure. Boycott Summon!
  9. Lol, the first post was hilarious. Good advice though, with the fogging hatchlings until death.
  10. I agree, simply adding a clickable lineage link would make things a whole lot more convenient when you're checking a lot of lineages in a trade.
  11. This is very much an issue. It would be very easy to fix.

But he does it because he LOVES you! She always has the same expression on her face. You know, the weird angsty/pouty one.
  13. We are debating what existed first, because there is a paradox: If chickens came first, what did they hatch from? If eggs came first, who laid the eggs? However, grimace summarizes what seems to be a good scientific answer: That the egg came first, it was just laid by a different bird-like animal.

The reason everyone loves her is because they can see themselves in her. Most people have felt bland and unnoticed at some point in their lives. It makes sense to fantasize that some totally hot/perfect superhuman being is completely in love with you and won't take no for an answer. It makes people hopeful that if boring, mopey, whiny, clumsy ol' Bella can be loved by godly Edward, then maybe one day some amazing person will finally notice them and love them too.
  15. Mine are really random, it just depends on what lineage project I'm currently working on.
  16. Here's what science says about it: http://science.howstuffworks.com/environme.../question85.htm http://articles.cnn.com/2006-05-26/tech/ch...cken?_s=PM:TECH To those who believe the Bible: Is it possible that God created evolution?
  17. It's like choosing the lesser of 4 evils.
  18. Out of the ones you listed, I'd have to say Beyonce. I really admire her voice. :3
  19. I know quite a few foreign songs in French and Vietnamese. Also some Japanese theme songs from various animes. And a bit of one Spanish song called Besame Mucho.

    Maze Runner

Null vote, I've never read it.

The main character is an empty shell of a girl. She has no backbone and no personality whatsoever. The only reason she's the main focus of the entire series is because some sparkly man-god thinks she smells good and gets all obsessed with her. Lusty things ensure. </series>
  22. Eh, I wasn't really overly fond of either of them. Some of the main characters in both books really got on my nerves.
  23. Wow, looks like I'm in the very small minority of people who haven't tried. I'm really good at essays and critiques and stuff, but my creative writing skills are pretty much nil.
