  1. I have at least two Heartstealers x SRiver, but I was ungreedy and only took 1. Thank you!
  2. Someone should post this every page. The event started at Midnight on Sunday, so it should end at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on Tuesday (tomorrow). If an egg drops every 10 minutes, you should be able to get 6 in an hour, which means it will take 10 solid hours to collect 60 eggs. Anyone starting after 2 p.m. cave time tomorrow might not get them all. I say "might" because I dimly remember that they appear to drop faster the last hour or two. But don't quote me on that, I might have imagined it. Also, I picked up my last egg while writing this. It was the red thing hiding behind the blue candy.
  3. http://dragcave.net/easter/stardust13 - For anyone wanting to see all eggs and banners from previous years. Wasn't there a Freddy egg last year? A couple of the eggs from last year and the year before look like candidates, but maybe I'm wrong. You know, I'd love more "of the moment" pop culture eggs, but if there aren't that many, that's on me and anyone who wants more of them. Get with an artist and work on some for next year. There's room for all kinds of eggs in this event. And I'd love to be hunting 100 because more people submitted! I specifically want to thank the people who made the Easter-y eggs this year. The faceted orange and the blue with purple stripes are two on my scroll so far. The best part of this event is seeing eggs of all kinds! Thanks, TJ and artists! And Happy Whatever you Celebrate, all!
  4. TJ explained once - I think actually to me, maybe over twitter? It's been a while...Oh, found it! March, 2011. "If you mean new topic notifications on the forums, the way I create release topics ends up preventing those from going out." We talked about it a bit more, but I can't find the details. I bet they're scheduled entries, which might not trigger a "new post" email. Anyway, it's not something he can help, but that's why new release posts don't show up in email. They're speshul! Probably some cavers who are online when a release drops should take it upon themselves to announce releases on Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, etc. The Twitter account hasn't updated since the Xeno release last year, but all these platforms accept hashtags that people could follow. #dragcave should work. /suggestion Thanks for the new release, Cave, even if finding the new ones now is...yeah, impossible. Heh.
  5. *dazzled eyes* WHOO HOO!
  6. I claimed the Pyro. You can always get me with orange. ~_^ Thank you!
  7. Someone also thanked you in the Great Lineages Found in the AP thread. They got all the common x commons. I'm totally not jealous. Totally. ~_^
  8. Oh, um...actually, to confirm, yes, it's a "Highlander" reference. But it totally works for Bond, too! Glad you like it and thanks for posting it! This is my favorite recent find, named more after the code than the kittens: http://dragcave.net/lineage/Phoh7 Thank you, Dragonflower!
  9. Picked up two! I hadn't seen this message, though, so I just got lucky. http://dragcave.net/lineage/z8MZV http://dragcave.net/lineage/U6dlI
  10. Could you reserve a HeartSTEALING for me? I sent a HSeeker x Undine earlier today. I would like x Gaia if you have one. If not, second choice is STD. Thank you!
  11. Date of Refusal: Feb. 1, 2016 Time of Refusal: 6:45 p.m. Pairing That Refused: http://dragcave.net/lineage/ZYrl6 x http://dragcave.net/lineage/bV3Bc Dragon Breeds: Pumpkin x Pygmy arrows Extra Info: You know that moment when you discover you have two weird lineages you've had on your scroll forever that just might go together well and then they refuse? Yeah, that. Used Fertilize on both. I probably could work to find a replacement, but the lines are weird to begin with and refusals like this break my will to bother. Date of Refusal: Feb. 1, 2016 Time of Refusal: 7:15 p.m. Pairing That Refused: http://dragcave.net/lineage/HgXmu x http://dragcave.net/lineage/Sua17 Dragon Breeds: 2gs Winter x Mistletoe Extra Info: Used Fertilize on both. Seems like the more time-sensitive the pair, the more likely they are to refuse.
  12. Refusal Rebreeder badge request - I'd like a badge for my signature that indicates that I'm willing to re-breed dragons I've bred that refuse mates. I'm not sure if "Refusal Rebreeder" is the best term, but I was trying to think of something short and to the point. I would like the badge not to be taller than the current box in my signature (the scroll status, not the lineage image), and very readable. I'm also open to suggestions, especially from any artist taking this on. I'd like to see the badge shared with all, and am willing to host it on my tinypic account.
  13. Date of Refusal: Jan. 20, 2016 Time of Refusal: 6:55 pm Pairing That Refused: http://dragcave.net/lineage/Tokpc x http://dragcave.net/lineage/pPP15 Dragon Breeds: 3g Neotropical x 3g 09 Valentine - checkers Extra Info: Used fertilize on the Neo. I can breed the 3g Neo, and this is the second one to refuse the 09Val mate. Replacing will be difficult. The 2g pair are notoriously not interested, I had been trying them off and on all year. I just tried breeding them again with no egg. I guess I have a couple more tries before Valentine breeding week. I know that they will breed during Valentine week, but it would be nice to be able to make the common the rest of the year!
  14. I don't have patience for the form tonight. Both my CB Arsani dragons just refused CB Golden Wyverns at about 1:15 a.m. I didn't use fertilize. When I started playing this game, I never had this many refusals. Especially not two in a row like that.
  15. Date of Refusal: January 10, 2016 Time of Refusal: 10:26 p.m. Cave Time Pairing That Refused: http://dragcave.net/lineage/yYR3P x http://dragcave.net/lineage/pkOU6 Dragon Breeds: 2g Heartseeker x 2g Golden Wyvern Extra Info: Fertility used. This is exhausting.
  16. Date of Refusal: January 7, 2016 Time of Refusal: 7:30 p.m. Pairing That Refused: http://dragcave.net/lineage/hwE6U x http://dragcave.net/lineage/NXu86 Dragon Breeds: 3g Grave x Gold checkers Extra Info: This is why I've been avoiding testing my Halloween checkers. Not easy to replace. Date of Refusal: January 7, 2016 Time of Refusal: 7:44 p.m. Pairing That Refused: http://dragcave.net/lineage/dGNX6 x http://dragcave.net/lineage/7kBBh Dragon Breeds: 2g Grave x Green Pebble Extra Info: *SIGH* Fertility used on the common of each of these.
  17. Huh. I bred that for someone upon request. Good to know it ended up in the AP. Enjoy, Fly! And thanks, Tawanda! It's nice to see my naming weirdness noticed! <3
  18. Date of Refusal: January 4, 2016 Time of Refusal: 8:15 p.m. Pairing That Refused: http://dragcave.net/view/OCWpK x http://dragcave.net/view/Mgb6d Dragon Breeds: Whiptail x Grave 2gs Extra Info: My scroll is littered with holiday common mates that refused the holiday. Yes, I can breed a new one, but sheesh! Oh, and fertility used on the whiptail.
  19. Ok, so no filtering. Thank you for weighing in on that, TJ; it's helpful. But...what else could be tried? Despite some people thinking that we'll all get used to it, it's been a week and a half and no progress on getting used to it for me. Male silver still looks blurry in the lineage view. Also, it looks smaller than the other dragons now. I know it's technically the same height as the other dragons in the lineage view, but it still looks smaller. I'm not asking for it to be enlarged, but unlike others, to me the spite looks smaller than the other dragons in the lineage view. Just thought I'd note that. So, next idea, anyone? ^^
  20. Huzzah for that third tile set. Thank you, 11th! Now, how about an answer from TJ? If LadyLyzar gave her permission for the experiment, I am assuming she would be OK with its implementation. So, can you make it happen, TJ? If you say "eventually", that's good enough for me!
  21. Yes, the new male silver tile does look unfocused/blurry. I'm really glad that some people's glasses are strong enough to make the tile image look sharp, but the rest of us see blur. Fixes could include: New Inking to make the lines stronger New Shading, which might translate into stronger definition when the image is reduced New Positioning in the tile, including a zoom-in But more than anything, I'd like a simple Yes or No from TJ or LadyLyzar that this is something that will actually be worked on, rather than watch another round of "I like the silvers and I'm right", "I hate the silvers and I'm right" rage on for days on end. The same people feel the need to say the same things over and over again, restating his or her position to make sure other people know that his or her opinion is the one that should count the most. To be honest, when someone replies to a thread by responding to every post that doesn't agree with his or her opinion, it reads like bullying to me. TJ has said in the past that he likes to let debates go on so he can see a full range of opinions and ideas, but we just closed a thread that talked about this, and many other issues, in minute detail. So, here, I think we just need an answer to the question - is this going to happen or not?
  22. The forum represents users who make forum accounts, write in English, and then choose to comment. Unless TJ comes in to say otherwise, you will never convince me that the people commenting on the forum represent a majority of DC users. I believe the number of active scrolls at any given time far outpace the number of active forum users in the same period. Personally, I would be happy to feel foolish if we knew for a fact the forum user/scroll user ratio. Until then, no one should be claiming a majority or minority in any forum disagreement. Also, you can't have it both ways when it comes to pixel art. Either these dragons need to be realistic to anatomy that exists in the real world, or they are mere pixel art, which means fantasy, which means they don't have to be anatomically correct. I've seen people making statements on both sides of that argument.
  23. Something. I'd really like to see something done to alleviate the blur in lineage views, because that might just clear up a lot of issues for us unhappy breeders. So the question is, are further edits a possibility, or are the Silvers just "done done" and we have to live with it this way? Also, I was glad to see the the Silver credits updated. Someone said something last night that made me think the updating artists would not be listed.
