  1. i should do this with my brims, actually.... hmm.
  2. exact same thing happened to me a little bit ago. i even tried to make the most out of it and tried to zombify it, but it dissolved my current bad luck today is not being able to come across a single ash dragon egg in the cave... i could have sworn they were common. always that problem of running into things all the time when you dont need them, but the second you start looking they all run and hide.
  3. i have a project of very inbred very messy dragons thats gone well over 100 generations. youd be surprised whats out there!
  4. you might want to post these in the encyclopedia helpers thread but some of the links are a bit... wonky. /purple and /green made me laugh when i clicked the link and checked what was wrong
  5. its been 3 months since the release, and im chiming in to say i rarely see pink sapphires in the AP anyway, now. and im pretty picky about lineage most of the time, so even if i do happen to see one it most likely wont be to my liking anyway. i start classes now too, so i have even less time to hunt the ap, so less of a chance that ill happen to be in the right place at the right time, when someone else just happened to abandon a sapphire and have it show up for me to catch. i check in on the site a few times a day for a few minutes, and i rarely see pink sapphires. i think it would be nice for players like me to be able to make their own with the low-view method on their own time.
  6. the hatchling i was deliberately trying to kill with sickness, which was sick for at least 2 days or more and steadily gaining views (staying mostly maxed out and only gaining more when it got more UVs), managed to somehow get over her sickness and grow up normally. sigh.
  7. ooooh! that makes a lot of sense. thanks
  8. whens the best time to kill them if youre looking to make zombies on the 31st? the early hours of the 17th? (12am cave time) ? how does this work ? i know tombstones stay on your scroll for 14 days, so do you gain those kill slots back all on the 31st to be used again to kill another batch during the day ?
  9. thank you- its in good hands ill try to remember to name it right away
  10. just tried again with spitfires and they are for sure orange thats upsetting...
  11. i have a few that will grow up soon, and i want to re-test breeding these myself. i am NOT satisfied with them giving orange flames..! hoping that maybe weve just been unlucky and that theres a chance that they dont change colors... but... maybe im just coping
  12. a full 24 hours from when they were killed.
  13. this would be very lucky in any other circumstance, but this hatchling that i have JUST. WONT. DIE! its been sick for over a day, and i had to stun/bounce it so it could continue to gain more views on my scroll (just needed that extra day on its timer) because shes very tough...!
  14. this makes me so happy! i didnt think about the sulfur component, because i... almost failed my chem class in high school LMAO. im glad they have an interesting result! i didnt even think to try it
  15. interesting... i wonder why spitfires and hellfires didnt work then!
  16. yeah, thats why i tried it, because i knew in their encyclopedia that they produced blue fire. part of me thinks that maybe cyan ones arent being produced because of a glitch..? unless someone has a confirmed cyan that i dont know about. spitfires and female hellfires surprised me, but im not sure.
  17. ive done some tests of myself! results under spoiler edit: added hellfire/other results
  18. there does seem to always be a lingering communication issue with this site in general. has been for a long time. even small, easy, quality of life changes too. but im not going to derail about that here. i support the float bsa suggestion now more than ever. earthquake is still risky, and it always will be. users know that there will always be a risk of killing their eggs with earthquake, but as said before, this is just a way to remove ones you maybe dont want to risk from the equation. i see no reason to disagree with this suggestion, ESPECIALLY now that there are two breeds that may require you to use it. (green cantors, and with this new one you will eat through your kill slots that are already very limited anyway (i make zombies! im all out half the time!) so earthquake is the only way to go over and attempt for the most current breed if you literally cant use the kill action to attempt to force them.)
  19. killing dragons for zombies ahead of time- especially now since i have to risk kill slots with earthquake for the new breed- 4/5 of the ones i have lined up dodged. sigh. time to try tomorrow.
  20. i would be willing to test myself if it didnt happen to be a month with 31 days... 🙄 kill spots are sparce and the timing on this was so bad, i dont have any to spare to try on my eggs 😕
  21. my speculation is that kill-forcing would work too, if earthquake does, but thats worse IMO.
  22. me neither, especially since there was so much negative feedback from people saying how there have been too many releases with ways of obtaining them that are less than optimal. id argue that i like this less than EQ cantors, since- and i could be very wrong- but i would think this relies on a forced hatching, not just an earthquake being used on them like cantors. (but again, just speculation)
  23. if the speculation here is correct, and these do depend on being force-hatched vs hatching naturally, that might suck for this month. i was hoping to try for zombies, and theres limited kill slots as is 😓 eq even counts towards kill slots, so i hope this isnt correct.
