  1. I have the Eye of Ra on my left shoulder. Sometime next year I want to get an Arabian horse outline to symbolize my first horse (the one in my avatar)
  2. I find makeup a waste of time and money. No point in spending $20+ dollars on face powder :T Admittedly though, I like what people can do with it. I'll let my friends do my makeup on occasion, but I'll never purchase it for myself.
  3. Most plants, cats, dogs, horses (which is unfortunate for me...)
  4. Annoyed. Very annoyed. I've never been part of a fandom as frustrating and toxic as LoK's (Legend of Korra)
  5. Maybe I'm just biased because most of my close friends have been, and always are, honest with me, while I've had some online friends lie and admit it to me later on. So while yes situations like you've mentioned can happen, they have not happened to me personally because I do not surround myself with foolish people who would rather lie than tell me the truth. My friends are much more mature than that. But online, it's generally harder to tell unless I've known them for a significant amount of time, like my boyfriend. Thus why I've always been iffy on online dating.
  6. Yes, I'm aware, but as someone mentioned above, it may be harder to conceal a lie in real life due to body language. The difference between online and real life is that when online, you don't have any physical interactions. It's more than just their appearance. Meeting someone physically can tell a lot about a person, how they act, the way they dress, how their home is set up, their hobbies, etc. All of that is easier to hide online rather than just lying through their teeth in person.
  7. I've had quite a few Bettas in my life while growing up. Currently I have two males, one a white/light bluish pattern and the other dark red. They don't have names though, but I'm not going to lie, it's pretty addicting to have them. I think what I want to do is buy a few more to place around the house to have a more "zen" feel.
  8. The idea of online dating always bothered me because you never know if the other party is being 100% truthful. There's always something they could be hiding and you'd never know, and I would always speak out against it. And then my first SO happens to be through online connections. I guess I'm a hypocrite in that way. In my own defense, however, I've known him for over four years and he became one of my closest friends so in that case I trust him completely. However, I won't really know how things will turn out until I get to meet him face to face. Although I still will speak out against online dating anyway. It can be dangerous, it can be hurtful. Sometimes they just don't turn out as you want them to. One of my friends was in an online relationship for a little while, and her boyfriend flew down to spend a week with her. After he left she realized she didn't actually have any romantic feelings for him at all and broke up with him not too long after.
  9. I think my favorite argument that some pro-lifers try to use against me is that supporting abortion means that I had the same mindset that existed during the Holocaust, segregation, slavery, etc. I'm pretty sure racism and genocide are completely different than removing a non-sentient fetus from a living, breathing woman.
  10. I once commented here a few years back, blindly following a pro-life path...however I've changed my view. I am 100% pro-choice. I recently got into an argument on Facebook on whether or not abortion is murder. Most of the arguments against me were "well they're idiots for having sex anyway!" no mention of things like birth control failing and sexual assault. However, even if it is the woman's fault for not using some sort of birth control or contraception, I still don't think society should force them into motherhood when they're not ready to have a baby or don't want any kids at all, or even if they're not physically or mentally fit for becoming a mother in the first place. A woman has a right to her body, and an unborn, non-sentient fetus does not.
  11. Well, I just finished some chicken soup.
  12. Somehow managed to grab a CB Golden Wyvern even though I clicked away from the page the first time, immediately clicked back (not by back button) and saw it was still there.
  13. I don't remember exactly since I joined in like...2008...I don't know how I never saw this thread a few years back... Anyway, I saw someone's scroll on a website I frequented on, I think it was Gaiaonline or some other forum site, either way I joined back in '08 and I have a thing where I go back on then stay off for a few months, rinse and repeat.
  14. My dad taught me how when I was 14. I don't get to do it often so my skills aren't great, but I absolutely love it.
  15. A bowl of Hershey's Cookies n' Cream cereal. Yums.
  16. According to a quiz, Apollo. But guessing from my interests, either Poseidon (cause I ride horses and I like to swim) or Hephaestus (my element is fire and I'm really good at crafting things)
  17. Happy V-day! Welp, I've egg locked myself trying to get two of each Valentine Dragons from the previous years...but I've timed it well enough that I can get this year's in a day or two :3 I'm liking the event!
  18. I watch a lot of Yogscast and PewDiePie mostly, and I enjoy some CaptainSparklez and Cryoatic on the side.

  20. Oh what a pretty lineage! Good thing I have a CB Golden Wyvern perfect for he- FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF-
  21. I always do. I want to see where they go, if they're named and if their lineage continues. Most of the breeding I've done was years ago to usually the dragons just sit there. I'm just happy they have a home. Although a few weeks ago I bred a red and gold together and got a red egg, so I abandoned it. It got picked up and it was named "My lineage makes breeders cry"...okay, slightly rude (the gold I had came from inbreeding, but not by my doing). When I checked later it seemed to vanish. I guess it was killed :\
  22. I love meat more than I love vegetables, but I won't judge anyone for being a vegetarian or a vegan. As long as they don't try to force their lifestyle on me. Although it pisses me off when they try to force cats and dogs to eat vegetarian when they're natural carnivores...
  23. My favorite Creepypasta would be the Holders Series. There's so many of them, each more unique than the last. Here's the first one for a sample: The Holder of the End In any city, in any country, go to any mental institution or halfway house in you can get yourself to. When you reach the front desk, ask to visit someone who calls himself “The Holder of the End”. Should a look of child-like fear come over the workers face, you will then be taken to a cell in the building. It will be in a deep hidden section of the building. All you will hear is the sound of someone talking to themselves echo the halls. It is in a language that you will not understand, but your very soul will feel unspeakable fear. Should the talking stop at any time, STOP and QUICKLY say aloud “I’m just passing through, I wish to talk.” If you still hear silence, flee. Leave, do not stop for anything, do not go home, don’t stay at an inn, just keep moving, sleep where your body drops. You will know in the morning if you’ve escaped succesfully. If the voice in the hall comes back after you utter those words continue on. Upon reaching the cell all you will see is a windowless room with a person in the corner, speaking an unknown language, and cradling something. The person will only respond to one question. “What happens when they all come together?” The person will then stare into your eyes and answer your question in horrifying detail. Many go mad in that very cell, some disappear soon after the meeting, a few end their lives. But most do the worst thing, and look upon the object in the person’s hands. You will want to as well. Be warned that if you do, your death will be one of cruelty and unrelenting horror. Your death will be in that room, by that person’s hands. That object is 1 of 538. They must never come together.
  24. Got my first Shimmer via the Departures thread a few hours ago. A moment later I got a PM and someone decided to gift me a second Shimmer. I got lucky!
