  1. I got a Japanese word recently. http://dragcave.net/lineage/FUITA
  2. Male Blusang - http://dragcave.net/lineage/ou8NO (named him "Ou NO". Read that in a French accent.) Glaucus Drake - http://dragcave.net/lineage/SONAT (a.k.a. The Unfinished Sonata) Male Gold - http://dragcave.net/lineage/4p0oM (decided to name him after Pommern, though he could also be a pom or a weird explosion) Female Mint - http://dragcave.net/lineage/ZGrag (somebody can't spell grog) Female Moonstone - http://dragcave.net/lineage/Snz1D (she's been sneezing for one day straight. I know what that feels like.) Female White - http://dragcave.net/lineage/MOkFU (...mock-fu?)
  3. Got my second GoN a week ago - it's hatched and been ER'd so it should grow up soon. <3
  4. Hm... let's see then. 1. Germany: Munich. Probably the most famous city apart from Berlin. 2. Italy: Venice. 3. Switzerland: Zürich. 4. Austria: Salzburg. 5. Russia: St. Petersburg. 6. Turkey: Istanbul. 7. Poland: Krakow. 8. Kosovo: Pristina (capital city). 9. Netherlands: The Hague (the Dutch Royal Family lives here). 10. Ireland: Galway. 11. Lithuania: Kaunas. I've visited a fortress called the Ninth Fort in this city... met a living bat in one of the shadowed archways, too~ 12. Norway: Tromso. Has the world's northernmost university. 13. Ukraine: Odessa. The Pearl of the Black Sea. 14. Spain: Barcelona. 15. Sweden: Gothenburg. 16. UK: Oxford. Because it has one of the most famous universities in the world. 17. Finland: Turku. Oldest city in Finland and the original capital city.
  5. Just popped in to say that I'm still here. Been working five days a week so I tend to forget about this site these days. *pause* Came up with a new idea for the 17 remaining cities. How about the most famous (non-capital) cities in Europe, and Kosovo? 1. Hamburg, Germany (second largest city in Germany) 2. Stuttgart, Germany (base of German car-manufacturing) 3. Düsseldorf, Germany (called Klein-Tokyo because of Japanese immigrants) 4. Munich, Germany (Olympics) 5. Milan, Italy (seat of fashion) 6. Venice, Italy (carnival and lots of water) 7. Florence, Italy (medieval, and seat of the Archdukes of Tuscany) 8. Naples, Italy (Pompeii is nearby) 9. Pisa, Italy (Leaning Tower... I've been there) 10. Verona, Italy (Romeo & Juliet) 11. Zürich, Switzerland (banking) 12. St. Petersburg, Russia (former capital city) 13. Istanbul, Turkey (used to be Constantinople) 14. Salzburg, Austria (Mozart's hometown) 15. Krakow, Poland (capital city of the Kingdom of Poland) 16. Pristina, Kosovo 17. ?
  6. I was thinking more along the lines of: Original members: Capital city from each European country New members: Largest city (population) from each European country Sometimes the largest city IS also the capital city so that would trim the second list nicely and keep it nice and short. ...Oh, and the largest city could also work for those original members who still want a second city to host. PS. I still think Kosovo counts as a country. Over half the world accepts it as a sovereign country now - out of 193 UN states, 108 accept it so far.
  7. Missed CB Gold, but caught a CB Blusang five minutes later. I'm not sure if I'll keep it or trade it - already have a gendered pair of CB Blusangs so yeah...
  8. Oh god eeeeeeeeeeeeee- http://dragcave.net/lineage/BTxE2 *fangirl spasm* I got a fandom egg! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/B't_X
  9. I don't know if it's just me, but Eggs Around The World seems to be down. I was going to check the Dragonmarket there and got an error message right off the bat. There are apparently two sites for that now, but neither of them work.
  10. Travelling Europe ! Travellers involved: Beldarius, Quinney Capitals travelled: Nicosia, Valletta
  11. OMFG My hAIT1 and eHWAp (Canadian wireless) just bred a wet egg! http://dragcave.net/lineage/WeTPY
  12. Bred a new ticket to Nicosia, Cyprus. Anyone up for some warmth? The weather's been crazy up here in Finland (our snow melted a month ago, and we got more NOW). Make an offer on my eggs/hatchlings! By the way, I just thought about something. Faroe Islands aren't considered their own country so the capital probably won't be part of this project (that still doesn't explain Greenland - they're both autonomous countries). ...But would it be possible to still breed Faroese eggs for this thread, as long as you give them for free?
  13. http://dragcave.net/lineage/CAlu1 She's called Calumon One now. http://dragcave.net/lineage/PPack And he is Clinical Chemistry because PPack is an acronym for a type of anticoagulant.
  14. By the way, since somebody appears to have taken Nuuk (the capital of Greenland), I guess it's OK to take other overseas "provinces"? If so, could I reserve Torshavn (Faroe Islands) with Black-Capped Teimarrs? The Belgrade egg will be my 10th once it grows up. I already have a Faroe Island couple of Teimarrs for my Around the World lineage - hopefully it's OK to use them. http://dragcave.net/lineage/1jg8u This is what the lineage will end up looking like.
  15. Travelling Europe ! Travellers involved: Beldarius, WolfParadise Capitals travelled: Nicosia, Belgrade
  16. ...Nicosia hatchie grew up so I released it. I already had two second gens, didn't need a third one. >.> Make an offer on my eggs/hatchlings! Here's a new Pink Nicosia ticket for anyone who wants to travel.
  17. My Nicosia egg is still here if anyone wants to travel. I also put it in the ER and it should be close to hatching soon. It hatched so here's the new trade link~ Make an offer on my eggs/hatchlings!
  18. Well... turns out my Monaco hatchling died. ._. I completely forgot about the site for a while and just came back, only to discover the hatchling is a tombstone. Revival disintegrated it, too. First hatchling that died on me in six years. DX I have a new Nicosia ticket right here if anyone wants to travel. Make an offer on my eggs/hatchlings!
  19. Oh, no - I wasn't at the Olympics, but at the Finlandia Trophy back in October 2013. They even caught me on camera and showed me on TV for a split second.
  20. I'm incredibly happy that Yuzuru Hanyu won the gold medal in men's figure skating. He's really quite something to have done this in his FIRST Olympics. He was one of the youngest male skaters in the whole event (at 19) and he has asthma to top it all off. That boy is ONE hard worker, I tell ya. ...Daisuke Takahashi is actually my favorite skater, but Hanyu really deserved his win. I saw him live at the Finlandia Trophy last year and he was simply spectacular, completely plowed through all opposition (2nd place went to Sergei Voronov). Off-topic, but speaking of that event? I actually managed to give Sergei Voronov and Kento Nakamura roses in person~ >///< I saw Voronov passing through a public hallway and simply took a step towards him and offered him a rose, and he took it, bowed and said "Thank you". With Nakamura, he went to watch the women's skating in the audience and during a break (and after the little girls asking for autographs had gone), I leaned over and handed him his rose... and he said a clear, English "Thank you.". (Japanese people are pretty famous for their "Engrish" so I was pleasantly surprised that Nakamura seemed fluent. ...He's also a really cute guy up close~) ...Anyway, I was also rooting for Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir in ice dancing, and Aliona Savchenko and Robin Szolkowy in pair skating. Cue Tessa and Scott with silver, and Aliona and Robin with bronze. <3 (I also love how an Ukrainian woman and a Polish man represent Germany. ) PS. Now rooting for Finland to win bronze in men's ice hockey. ...2-0 so far and I'm giddy!
  21. Travelling Europe ! Travellers involved: Beldarius, Tempestsea Capitals travelled: Nicosia, Monaco
  22. I have a new Pink ticket to Nicosia, Cyprus~ Make an offer on my eggs/hatchlings!
  23. It's always nice to know an egg got a good home~ ('Breat' is probably a typo of 'treat'.) ...This means "Happy belated Valentine's Day" in Finnish. I'm Finnish myself so this was a nice surprise. (And the message was anonymous so now I'm curious~ )
  24. I have an Aurum dragon Dragon Link: http://dragcave.net/lineage/C3EDF Dragon Name: Princess Lavinia Aurum PS. Once the request lists are updated, I think I can be removed now~ 8D I'll also breed her with Junker and gift their offspring here when they decide to give me one. Btw, am I the only one who thinks Lavinia's code resembles CEDEF? (That's an organization from Katekyo Hitman Reborn.)
  25. I just bred a 3rd gen Aurum from Princess Lavinia Aurum (2nd gen Blusang, first gens belong to Cladus) and Junker Christopher of Pommern (2nd gen Gold, first gens are mine). Lineage: http://dragcave.net/lineage/I6iGT Transfer: Make an offer on my eggs/hatchlings! Just offer me a dummy so I know where it goes (and to prevent someone from killing the egg, we need all the Aurums we can get to 'battle' the Dorkfaces).
