Or maybe the amaltheia could do what some whites do and make their own from an elm tree, it might take more work but it probably would be possible considering that one of their parent breeds can do it. Even if they couldn't they could still just wait until they're able to fly and then use that flight to travel around and find someone who could help them out, whites are pretty common in game and probably in-universe so i'm sure if they asked around they could find one pretty easily. Posted May 24, 2020 Here's the concept art for the pink alcedine: https://sta.sh/0cjxgdcg6rg they were originally going to be m/f dimorphic set but the blue ended up appearing so much visually larger that I ended up deciding they'd be alts, so there's no separate concept art for the blue one (just a color mockup on the same base as the pink alcedine's concept art). blues were originally going to have longer, branching antlers but this ended up too complex with the mane texture right there as well owo Share this post Link to post

Posted May 24, 2020 (edited) Sapo, latin for Soap. Not very creative there =P axolotl similarities and betta fish similarities I love their smiles, whiskers and gradient. I enjoyed the concept of the fins becoming more vibrant as they aged. Oh yeah, these dragons are THICC. Think seals colors + single pose = trans ( I noticed this similarity as I was picking out my colors, and the fact that if it only had one pose, then it would continue the thought into a sentence. Posted May 25, 2020 (edited) Wonderful dragons!! I especially love the lore for the Jesters, that their behavior is an inspiration for comedy, rather than the other way around. I find the Sapos very fun. Soap dragons! Love the puffy, wispy design of the Cloudplumes and those subtle beans. Still want to know why Alcedines are all female (parthenogenic?) and what causes the different forms (lore-wise)! Shading on the Labradorites is really cool and I can't wait to try breeding them with Xenos and Omen Wyrms. Pargulus pygmies are adorable little squirrel dragons. Weirdest implication is that a White dragon's staff is produced by their body. Alcedines can be influenced, so they don't appear to be exclusively female. The horns of Amaltheans were explained by Hazeh a little while ago: Quote Since I've seen the question floating around a little, I'll clarify here: the horn is made of both wood and bone. We are all precious.) image is the painting in progress~ when i saw the colors and pose of the s2 hatchies, one of my first thoughts was that they looked kind of like non-binary silvers, so this is very cool to read. i love the sapos' smile! makes me want to start a spiral lineage with all the smiling dragons. The encyclopedia claims that they take a branch from a very old elm tree and whittle it into a staff by rubbing it on trees and rocks, which sounds pretty contradictory to the idea that it comes out of them. Posted May 25, 2020 I'm not usually into goody-goody dragons due to being an overused personality-type but the Amalthean dragons are just too well made for me to have an issue with them.
