I really like my house, but I have seen other people with cool furniture, and I feel like when I get some of that I might have to change my house up.

I gotta say, I love the Dark Blue set myself, with addition of Light Blue set items. They just have that something on them.

 

 

In case someone ponders how I got some items set down... try placing it elsewhere and/or rotating it for a moment until you can accomplish the desired result. Also grabbing from different part of the item helped me.

That happens to me as well if I click the icon, don't worry, TJ is probably just testing how to display our house after the event is over.

To see our house we are entering it ingame and editing 2 pictures together to get an image of the full house.

 

 

 

I'm after some new windows and wall decorations - like the paintings and wreaths I can see in some of your houses!

I wonder if we can get fireplaces or Christmas trees....

 

also, does anyone know how they got the different coloured cats in the beds? Is there multiple 'cat bed' items? I can only get the calico, but I spy some of you have a black cat

While the item is active (on move) click shift+E or shift+Q. Took me a while to figure it out!

I love your houses! (I've been hoping for a topic like this one to see everyone's creations) Here's mine. I'm in desperate need for some nice rugs and windows... You can see I went a little crazy with the art nouveau furniture haha

 

 

Edit: Here it is with all the items unlocked! I really wish the nouveau fireplace was embedded in the wall for more floorspace though

What? Why is the bedroom the first room upon entering the house? Hey, it's my house! I can have my bedroom where ever I want! I want an easy access to my bedroom after a day's work to rest. It's special that way.

Yeah, I loved the Art Nouveau stuff so much, I couldn't resist using it for everything. :-)

 

My headcanon is that my poor little Aeton inherited the house from a maiden aunt who used to love throwing parties. That's why the dining room seats eight people and is the first room to enter. He keeps it as it is because of her, even though people are so nice to him and keep giving him furniture.
