Why do I have the feeling that I've SEEN the pattern/design that's on the Time Warp egg? It seems so familiar somehow.

They look like iron man eggs

Which biomes are the time eggs in again? I finally have a slot open for one but I'm just seeing the other 4.

Hm, it doesn't seem to be a day/night variation of the Luminas.

I just (2:25 pm cavetime, so daytime) bred this little dark one.

And about the "Alt" thing: Is it still called an Alt when the eggs have different descriptions ? Or is the only relevant fact that one version can breed the other ?

@Corteo:

Since by "recolour" I just meant that the adult sprites will probably look like their white counterparts, only with another colour scheme, I don't think my guess is really interesting. wink.gif The hatchie already did that, after all.

Darn, I was hoping for a daytime night time alt (because of the descriptions.) Then, there are a lot of dragons with night time descriptions that are available during the day, and vice versa.

I guess the time egg is gonna be an uncommon at least as I still have not caught a single one so hopefully I can get one down the road

Try turning page style to no style and constantly refresh only at one egg spot? That's how I got it, I wasn't even *seeing* them in biomes, maybe they were getting snagged too fast but turning off the style helped and I did see a few pass by.

I think the new pygmy might be Iolite- or Kyanite- something.

If I had to choose between my guesses, I'd go with Kyanite.

I was thinking kyanite, too, based off of the shade of blue of the Pygmy and where it sorts. The only other more well-known blue minerals that would fit there (other than iolite) are lazulite and lazurite, and neither of those are the correct shade of blue. There's also lapis lazuli, but that doesn't seem to be the right shade either (and lapis is also a rock and doesn't really fit the description of "crystalline").

There is labradorite, too, which would make for an interesting Dragon, but I'm not too sure if that's what it could be because labradorite is usually blackish or brown in color with blue only serving as the color of the iridescence that shows when light hits it the right way.

I love how everyone associates them with a different fandom.

I was calling them tron-like myself. =p

Oi, we should create a kyanite club! That's three of us that were thinking it. o3o

Try turning page style to no style

How do I do that? I haven't got a time egg, either, after two days, and I'll try whatever might help...

Anybody else have a cracking pygmy? Have you figured out what the red/pink blobs on the side are? Trying to figure out if I should report it or if it's intended. xP

I've seen some cracking pygmies in EATW and other hatcheries. I'm not sure why, but they all seem to have red blobs around them.

The question I've been asking myself is "Why is the sprite completely black in the bottom right corner?" Is it smoke of some kind billowing out of the egg? Or is it a glitch?

Dunno about the pink things, but that black corner definitely doesn't look right.

I can confirm that the "cobalt" cracking sequence is bugged (am spriter). It's been reported, however, and will hopefully be resolved shortly.

This might be obvious to you computer wizards, but I grew up with a C128 - and that was the height of cool at the time wink.gif .

So, where is "View"? I thought it would be under "Account Settings", but I can't find it there.

From what I saw of it (and assuming the red/pink things are supposed to be there) coupled with their name, I'm going to guess crystal formations of some kind. Looking up cobalt crystal formation results in a relatively drab metal grey thing, however, so I'm not sure that's it. It probably isn't xd.png

ETA: Ooooh, I scrolled down the cobalt wiki entry a bit and found this:

Whereas the anhydrous dichloride is blue, the hydrate is red

That's interesting and probably a clue! Edit 2: I am not a scientist or particularly smart, so I have no idea what that actually means. But it has red and blue in it so....

Quoting, since it got lost at the bottom of the previous page. The "cobalt" hatching sequence is not intended to look like that, and is indeed glitched. It will hopefully be resolved shortly.

Gah! Now I'm even more frustrated because not only do I not know what the dragon looks like; the cracking sequence is a mystery too!

It's in your browser menu/toolbar. It's not a cave setting.

Ahh, thanks. Found it. Since my toolbar is in my native language, I somehow didn't make the connection. biggrin.gif
