The Eternally Guilty Sun | OOC | Smash Bros RP

Recommended Posts

The Sun she is eternally guilty

Far aeons in a bloodstained past lies her darkest secret

The Moon he is so cruel

For the aeons tore him when once he dared to hope

The aeons destroyed us and called us

The world's dark past comes to endless light

Neverending is the night

So now the day dies...

~~~
Long ago, there were three siblings.
The eldest brother was an Umbreon, and all the night was his domain.
The middle sister was an Espeon, and all the day her time.
The youngest brother was an Eevee, and he was the Stars' favoured sibling, given the power to take on one of four evolutions at will and use its power.
The people feared the eldest brother for his night was long and dark, and filled with monsters. They feared the middle sister for her day was harsh and blindingly bright, scorching the earth. However, the youngest brother they favoured, for he could bring warmth, cool breezes, rain, and growth to aid them.
And that was where all the trouble began, for the two elder siblings soon became jealous. The eldest brother was wise enough to restrain himself, but in her wrath the middle sister acted.
The Espeon called on the power of her sun, creating a spear of celestial light and impaling her younger brother with it. As he died, his blood stained her fur... forever. The Umbreon, on seeing this, attacked his sister, and soon his coat was also stained with a sibling's blood. And all the world saw the sun and moon as monsters.
But the Sun was cursed by her elder brother as she died that she would remember this day... that she would be eternally guilty.
Fast forward three thousand years. The 4th annual Smash tournament has just ended when a silvery, ethereal Sylveon appears with a warning and the tale of the Three Siblings.
Many within the mansion didn't believe it... but soon a mysterious Umbreon appeared, using the Moon's power to destroy the Smash Mansion. In doing so, the Smashers' ways home were destroyed... but others had been dragged from home and hearth by the cruel moon.
And now, the Sun has returned from the dead, guilty and changed.
But so has Ascension, the favoured of the Stars, and he has a mission.
Plot
The Moon wants you all dead... for he is still angry 3000 years hence. Heroes and villains alike will have to figure out how to work together before the celestial bodies destroy everything. Did I mention you've only got till the vernal equinox? And that it's the winter solstice right now?
The Guilty Sun seeks to set right the wrong she did so long ago, but it won't be easy. Not when those who remember her remember a monster, not when you are fated to kill her.
You, led by Ascension, the youngest sibling, have to kill both Sun and Moon before the world can be at peace.
Setting
The Smash World is all the Nintendo game universes combined. One area might be Mario-type land, anotherwith land like the Mother series, and another area like that of Fire Emblem. The major ingame landmarks do exist, and each area is seperated by ocean. Each gmje world is on islands.
The area around Smashville has rolling hills, surrounding a plain. Smashville was in the shadow of the tallest hill.
Accepted Characters
Name: Acension
Universe: Pokémon
Gender: Male
Species: Eevee (can evolve into Flareon, Jolteon, Leafeon, or Glaceon at will)
Appearance: Your average Eevee/Flareon/Jolteon/Leafeon/Glaceon with a massive scar on his face that looks like a claw mark, and round scars on his chest and back where the celestial energy spear entered and exited him.
Personality: Ascension can act cheerful and trusting, but don't be fooled into thinking he is naïve - being dead for three thousand years leaves you aged beyond your years. Ascension hates someone who breaks a promise or betrays others, and reacts quite violently to those actions.
History: Over 3000 years ago, he was the youngest and the favoured of three siblings. He often aided all those around him, eternally happy to lend a paw with power the Stars granted him, until his elder sister killed him.
In the land of the dead, he soon was forced to learn how to battle to defend himself. Despite the gloom, he managed to hold on to hope he could help someone for all the tine he was dead.
Eventually, he returned from the dead, to learn he would have to kill his siblings to stop them. But he'd stopped caring about them in the land of the dead - now he was angry at them.
Abilities/Weapons: Knows the moves Baby-Doll Eyes, Swift, Sand-Attack, and Tackle. Can evolve into Leafeon, Jolteon, Flareon or Glaceon at will, but he can only hold it for one hour, after which he devolves back into Eevee and cannot evolve again for 1 day.
-Flareon: Fire Fang, Tackle, Ember, Will-O-Wisp
-Jolteon: Rain Dance, Thundershock, Thunder Wave, Bite
-Leafeon: Grasswhistle, Razor Leaf, Synthesis, Sunny Day
-Glaceon: Ice Shard, Frost Breath, Water Pulse, Protect
He has the normal ability in all forms. In Eevee form, his ability is Adaptability.
Name: Boris
Universe: Pokemon
Gender: Male
Species: Charizard
Appearance: A rare variant of Charizard, Boris is an 'albino', in the loosest sense of the word. While his skin lacks pigment, his eyes are still a bright blue. The membranes of his wings bear an almost purple hue thanks to the tangle of visible blood vessels therein. His skin and scales are unsurprisingly a little scratched here and there, some of them even thanks to his 'owner' during practise battles.
Personality: Boris believes he is a very special Pokemon with a higher-than-average intelligence, as he knows more than four moves, can follow orders like a dog and even imitate human words and use them correctly. Of course, informing him that those extra moves he knows are just those innate ones that Pokemon just know - claw swipes, tail swings, gratuitous use of elemental abilities - will only garner an air of supremacy, spite and maybe an impromptu fight, y'know, for practise.
Abilities/Weapons: Three large claws on both hands and feet, four rather large canines amidst the rest of his doglike teeth, a thick tail, a very thick skull and a bit of weight. He's far from truly competent in the air, but at least he has fire at his disposal to somewhat make up for it.
Learned moveset - Fly, Rock Smash, Flamethrower, Flare Blitz
Name: Marth (post-Mystery of the Emblem) so time to enter a bit of non-canon territory
Universe: Fire Emblem
Gender: Male
Species: Human
Appearance: Well hecke if you don't know then bear with me because my iPad's not gonna let me pull up an image at the moment~
Personality: Once naïve, now a hardened veteran, Marth isn't exactly the approachable, friendly person he used to be. Left with nearly no immediate family and responsible for killing dozens of people (and a few dragons) along with his own best friend, he refuses to see strangers as allies until thoroughly proven, and to not get emotionally close to them lest a betrayal befalls one of them. The easiest way to do this, of course, is to come off as cold and unlikeable at every chance he gets. Unless he's around Caeda. Also seems to be a touch on the condescending and narcissistic side.
As indicated by rather stiff, carefully pronounced speech, he is not a native speaker of the common modern language. His first language is the ancient Archanean dialect, with a tendency to return to it if not focused.
One could also say he lives in a constant state of stress, ready to fight at a moment's notice. Dragons are, with all but a few exceptions, creatures that remind him of Medeus. If that dragon cheated death twice, who's to say he'll never come back?
Abilities/Weapons: Most importantly, his signature weapon Falchion. A blade forged by the Divine Dragon Naga herself, made of one of her own fangs, the Falchion is unbreakable, cuts through dragon scales with ease and can only be wielded by those of a specific bloodline. When paired with the Shield of Seals, its power is magnified tenfold. Of course, the Shield is an item of great importance, it wasn't going to be safe around the less trustworthy individuals attending the tournament. So it is left back in Altea.
This barely counts as a 'weapon', but it is an ally: the 'albino' Charizard Boris. Through some kind of series of events, Marth has, for lack of a better word, adopted the Pokemon as a companion pet. It is not uncommon to see them partaking in doubles together.
When it comes down to abilities, Marth has nothing but raw skill at his disposal. After years of channeling what he'd learnt on the battlefield, he has developed a style pretty much unique to him. Most notably is the integration of a fencing style; the point of the Falchion is handled with absolute precision and is the main focus of dealing the pain.
'Shieldbreaker' is Marth's signature move, a precise, focused stab capable of breaking through an enemy's defences in the blink of an eye.
'Dancing Blade' is another, a series of rapid strikes that is commonly finished with a rush of stabbing blows.
'Counter' is a fairly standard move, but never any less annoying when pulled off.
Last but definitely not least, an infamous attack involving simply slamming the Falchion to the ground edge-first onto an opponent. Fast and very hard hitting, and a common way to finish off the careless.
Name: Yoshi
Universe: Mario
Gender: Male
Species: Yoshi
Appearance: Purple Yoshi
Personality: Yoshi is a loyal friend to Mario and will aid him as long as he gives him fruit. He is always hungry and will eat almost anything.
Abilities/Weapons: can jump really high, eat players only to pop them out in an egg. Can ground pound and turn into an egg that can roll around. If he eats a Smash Ball, Yoshi turns part dragon, growing wings temporarily while shooting fireballs.
Other:
Name: Zoey and Globbers
Universe: Pokemon
Gender: Zoey is female and Globbers is male
Species: Zoey is human and Globbers is male
Appearance: Zoey is short with short blonde hair and stunning blue eyes. Her skin tone is rather light and wears a green T-shirt with tan jeans and very light blue shoes. She also has a bag that is blue, making everything about her clothing look like a Shiny Reuniclus. Globbers is a shiny Reuniclus.
Personality: Zoey is kind and caring. She cares for Globbers most of all as she received him as her partner. She will do anything to protect her friends and is not afraid to make new ones. Globbers is a handful, often getting into trouble but tries to give out the sweetest smile when he knows he's in trouble, but winds up failing half the time
History: Zoey received Globbers as a Solosis when she turned old enough to go traveling in the Unova. She learned pretty quick that they had a lot of ups and downs when trying to get along, but the eventually learned how to get along. Zoey decided to take on the Pokemon League and ended up learning they had to get badges. They trained together to get powerful enough to take on the gyms while catching certain Pokemon. After a while of competing in gyms and other trainer battles, Globbers evolved into a Dousion and eventually a Reuniclus. Along with the rest of her team which consisted of an Archeops, Scolipede, Audino, Volcarona, and Beartic, she challenged the Pokemon League but only came in second when she lost to a friend of hers that she made along her journey, making her come in second. The reason why she was chosen was because of her bond with Globbers.
Abilities/Weapons: Zoey really doesn't do much (like the Pokemon Trainer) while Globbers battle. He knows the moves Energy Ball, Dizzy Punch, Gyro Ball, and Psychic. When he absorbs the Smash Ball, Zoey and Him almost become one making his attack and psychic power increase as Globbers and Zoey communicate
Other:
Name: Alex (Robin/FeMU; after-story)
Universe: Fire Emblem
Gender: Female
Species: Human...sorta-kinda.
Appearance: Alex stands at 5’3”, is a brunette, with shoulder-length, slightly unruly hair. Under her bangs is a circlet upon her forehead. Her eyes are narrow and a little tired looking, and they are a teal color. Her ears are pierced with ornate studs with black pearls sets. Over her plain white cotton blouse, she wears a black robe with a hood, trimmed in golden braids and lined with maroon, with the image of the Grimleal adorning the heavy-cuffed sleeves and back. A buckled fauld draped with black and gold hangs from her waist, and her seamed white pants tuck into high-finned boots.
Personality: Alex is the honorary tactician of the group of royal knight-mercs called the Shepherds. Once a vessel for the insidious return of Grima, the dragon composed of the bodies/souls of the Earth Dragons who had fallen at the Dragon’s Altar, she has felled and been fallen by her own hand and resurrected by the mere will of the cosmos. For all the nonsense she’s endured, she’s come out more or less the same, if not a lot more social. Before, in a life she did not remember, she was empty and lifeless, acting only as the pawn she was raised to be. After being found by Chrom and company and having her memories wiped, she grew quite comfortable in their camaraderie, and their jolliness and hope towards the future reflected in her.
She’s quite smart, being able to outwit most of the best in wargames, and is a lover of high fantasy and astronomy. However, she is often held back by pangs of insignificance, and can doubt her choices to the point of panic. However, when those she loves are threatened, she’ll break though her hesitation and smite her foes with her personal Wind Tome, Cereal Killer.
Her first crush was the Hero-King Marth, and he is the man who inspired her fascination with dragons with stories of his interactions with Tiki and Xane, the former of which she was starry-eyed to meet in person. Even after dedicating her love to the gentle monk Libra, she still finds herself doodling him idly on her napkins and sketchpads (under sweet Libra’s tutelage, of course.)
Her love of pretty men is shameless. In her history, she went down as "Captain and Tactician of the Bishie Brigade".
Abilities/Weapons: A personal Wind tome named Cereal Killer. Yes, it’s ridiculous. She also has two other tomes, an old Wind tome called Forsety that she’s half scared to use and Meteor, a long-range Fire Tome. She carries a personal Levin Sword called Ilyana (or in bouts of frustration, Useless) and a three-bundle of vulneraries (healing potions of sorts.)
Her skills are (for what it counts; may simplify for sake of RP):
Ignis: In a pinch, doubles either Magic or Strength.
Solidarity: Better crits/crit avoidance when alone.
Swordbreaker: Extra damage to swordsmen.
Tomefaire: Magic is strengthened while holding a Tome.
Galeforce: Once per fight, may strike an enemy, move, and strike again/another, when they otherwise cold not.
Name: Soren
Universe: Fire Emblem (Radiant Dawn)
Gender: Male
Species: Branded (Human/Black Dragon Laguz)
Appearance: Link Here
Personality: Soren is an occasionally cold and blunt young man. Persecuted as a child for his mixed bloodline by both beorc (humans) and laguz (shape-shifting humanoids), his view of the people and the world has become jaded and cynical. Though his heart has softened over time, he is still somewhat biased toward the laguz and beorc alike.
He tends to be high-strung, and can act out in bursts of anger or cynicism. His remarkable intelligence and insight leads him to operate on logic alone, and values efficiency and probabilities over the circumstances and feelings of others. He will even go as far to suggest ignoring those in need if it hinders him and his comrades.
He dislikes reckless behavior, loud speaking, and being interrupted. He enjoys studying and formulating tactics, and has devoted his life to his best and only friend, Ike.
History: Born from the ill-fated union of a mad king and a wayward Dragon laguz (though this remains unknown to him even now), he was raised by a woman who raised him only out of duty: she harried him with harsh words and scorn. Around four years of age, the woman, half-mad with relief, sent him off with an elderly Sage who taught him in the ways of magic. He had mistook Soren as a Spirit Charmer--one who is said to be imbued with great magical talent by way of an ethereal spirit inhabiting their body.
The old sage soon died, and Soren sought succor across the land, finding nothing but hate and ignorance from both sides of his blood. He did not know the mark on his head, the Mark of the Branded, damned him in their eyes and in the eyes of their god, Ashera--it was the ultimate taboo. While extremely literate in both writing and reading and understanding, he could not speak; he had never had the means or need to, and so he wandered alone and on the verge of death, unable to communicate.
One day, a young blue-haired boy named Ike found him and fed him his lunch, promising to do so again. When he did not come the next day, he looked at the compound where he dwelled, and found a massacre. He did not find Ike in the wreckage, and so assumed he was alive and sought refuge in a church, where he was versed in speech and other necessities. Years later, he found Ike working for his father's mercenary group, and has been inseparable from him since.
In his history, he was remembered as "The Silent Master of Winds."
Abilities/Weapons: He has three tomes: a personal Wind tome christened Caesura, a Rexcalibur Wind Tome, and a Bolganone Fire Tome. He carries two staves: Physic (long range medium healing) and Mend (close single high healing). He has an Elixir (complete healing, 3 uses).
Soren's skills are (simplified for RP):
Flare: Once per fight, negates Magic Resistance (incl. Sp. Def); target is partially blinded.
Adept: This unit's experience allows them to strike more than once when needed.
Solidarity: Better crit/crit avoidance when alone.
Countermagic: Any elemental attacks take small counter-damage.
Tactical Advice: When this unit supports another (defends, attacks with), the supportee gains defense.
Other: When Soren supports Ike, all of Soren's skills are boosted.
Name: Ike
Universe: Fire Emblem (Radiant Dawn)
Gender: Male
Species: Beorc (human)
Appearance: Link Here
Personality: Ike is well-known across his homeland for his kindness and amiability. Easygoing and quick to make friends, Ike is a highly sociable and warm person...if, albeit, lacking in tact at times. Raised by his father to be noble and accepting of all manner of people, he is respected and spoken fondly of by both the beorc and laguz.
He’s a very down-to-earth man, with a no-nonsense approach to everything concerning his life and his responsibilities. His rural upbringing can make him seem blunt to the point of unintentional rudeness, and he’s not afraid to voice his opinion, but he’s quick to retract any insensitivities with humbleness and understanding. Ike values the wisdom of those more experienced than himself, and he is willing to listen and learn about subjects that he is sorely uninformed on. His natural charisma and sense of camaraderie make him a born leader.
Ike dislikes ignorance and egoism, royal affairs, and childishness. He loves eating (especially meat and spicy foods), birds, and intelligence. He especially adulates the eloquence and intellect of his closest and best friend Soren, keeping him by his side at all times and trusting him with a great part of his management duties (including map-reading, sending letters, finances, tactics, army management, etc...)
In his history, he was remembered as "The Hero of Blue Flames"
Abilities/Weapons: Ike carries with him still the blessed blade Ragnell, twin of Alondite. The sword still brims with the flames of Chaos bestowed upon it by Yune, and is entirely impervious to wear. As it is the only weapon befitting of him, it is the only one he wields. Ragnell is capable of long-distance attacks by way of bursts of blue shockwaves. He also carries a three-pack Concoction (high single healing).
He also has a self-defense dagger on his thigh, mostly used for slicing fruit or whatnot.
Ike’s skills are (simplified for RP):
Aether: The combined skill of Sol and Luna. Once per battle, this unit deals two savage blows at once—the first draining life from the enemy, the second negating the enemy’s Defense.
Nihil: This unit cannot be harmed by special statuses (sleep, poison, etc.)
Divine Retribution: When this unit is first attacked, the enemy will take major counter damage.
Tomebreaker:  Extra damage to magic entities.
Heavy Blade: Enemies struck by this unit may become paralyzed. Low health/low level enemies will be instantly killed.
Other: When Ike supports Soren, all of Ike's skills are boosted.
Name: Lucas
Universe: Earthbound/Mother Series
Gender: Male
Species: Human
Appearance: From Sm4sh
Personality: Once a timid crybaby, three years of hardship and tragedy has matured Lucas into the determined, courageous boy he is now. He's still an emotional softie at heart, though. While he's generally a nice guy, he still gets oddly antsy around Mega Man...
Abilities/Weapons: Lucas wields a stick (or the occasional baseball bat) as a weapon, and has a variety of psychic powers at his disposal. However, there is a limit to how much power he can exert at a time before he has to recover.
His moves are:
PK Love: A psychokinetic energy attack.
Lifeup/Healing: In RPG terms, they heal HP and status effects respectively
PK Flash: A psychic burst of bright light. Doesn't do any harm, though depending on its intensity, it can cause teariness, confusion, or even paralysis or a knockout in rare cases.
Defense/Offense Up: A supporting move. Exactly what it sounds like.
Shield: A psychic shield that can block some of the harm from attacks. It breaks after taking enough damage. Has PSI and countering variants.
PK Freeze: A psychic blast of ice. Taught to him for Smash.
PK Fire: A psychic blast of fire. Taught to him for Smash.
PK Thunder: A psychic strike of lightning. Taught to him for Smash.
PSI Magnet: A psychic "magnet" that can absorb some attacks to replenish his own reserves. Taught to him for Smash.
PK Starstorm: After getting the Smash Ball, he can use this move to shoot down psychic meteors from the heavens. Taught to him for Smash.
Name: Ganondorf
Universe: The Legend of Zelda (Specifically, Hyrule Warriors: Legends)
Gender: Male
Species: Gerudo
Appearance: Too big of a picture, but isn't he fabulous? (Oh, and here's proof of how fabulous he is. Please don't actually believe this. Please.)
Personality: Ganondorf is normally arrogant and apathetic towards most of the other Smashers. The only time he'll show respect is if Ganon's challenged by someone of relatively equal power... and there weren't too many of those in the tournament.
His battle style is strategic. Much of the time, these other Smashers are faster than he is. They overestimate their advantage, and that's about when they take the flat of a sword to their face to prove a point. Of course, this strategy didn't help him in the tournament; he was knocked out of it fairly late (around the quarterfinals-ish).
Ganon's still awfully miffed about that. Try not to talk to him about it.
Abilities/Weapons: He wields two massive Great Swords and much of the magic he's picked up over the years. Many of his normal attacks are a combination of the two, but the more notable attacks are:
Side Special: Ganondorf readies his swords for a few moments, then launches a devastating double stab that can send opponents flying. In the air, he moves a moderate distance alongside the attack. (Based on Warlock Punch.)
Down Special: On the ground, Ganon begins slashing his swords in all directions, dealing minor damage to opponents, but leaving them stuck in the outline of the slash. Moments later, regardless of whether or not someone's trapped, the outlines explode, dealing medium damage.
In the air, it's a downwards kick infused with dark power that puts airborne victims back on the ground.
Up Special: On the ground, Ganon puts his swords up, then swings them in a downwards arc, putting victims to the sides of him most of the time.
In the air, he uses a similar method of movement to the Air variant of his Side Special, using the momentum of a thrust to carry him a middling distance upwards.
Final Smash: Lightning arcs on the ground in front of Ganondorf. The first wave leaves opponents in the air, ready to be attacked by the next two waves of electricity. The last sends opponents flying.
(This is based on Hyrule Warriors Ganondorf's Special Attack, where he bathes a large area in front of him in a nice electric wave of death. You can use it up to 3 times in a row with certain character upgrades, hence 3 waves.)
Shadow Element Passive: After 5 hits with his swords, a purple X-shaped mark will appear on an opponent's torso. Subsequent weapon strikes will hurt a lot more than the ones that caused the mark to begin with. If he uses the famous
(or any other attack with no weapon), it won't benefit and the count doesn't change. However, if Ganondorf's blades strike any other creature (even by accident) the counter will move to that creature and reset, leaving no Mark and an awfully PO'd Demon King.
(Based on Shadow Element Passive effect from Hyrule Wariors and tweaked to fit RP.)
Name: Link (and Midna)
Universe: The Legend Of Zelda (Twilight Princess)
Gender: Depends on who you're asking... Well, Link's a guy (probably), and I'm pretty sure that Midna's a woman but you could always poke her to find out
Species: Hylian (and Twili)
Appearance: Woof. (Yes, that thing riding him is Midna. What about it?) /weird grunting noise that Link makes 98% of the time
Personality: Link doesn't say very much, but it's clear that he's a hero. He seems to be helping anyone who asks (even if it's something that doesn't really assist him on his quest). Doesn't seem to like Ganondorf much, either, although that's just an instinct thing.
Midna's a bit bossy towards Link, but occasionally she'll crack a joke to him. As for most other people/dogs... she's not a nice person, often pretty condescending for an imp. Midna's quite a bit more bossy towards others, and she probably won't take an order seriously.
Abilities/Weapons: In doge form, Link has Midna on his back. He has a keen nose, and the ability to detect otherwise invisible creatures. They attack together, Midna using dark magic and a giant hand that's made of her hair to assault opponents while Link uses bites and claws. If they ever do manage to garner enough energy to perform a Final Smash, Midna becomes a beautiful woman-looking thing and reclaims most of her Twili power, prepared to obliterate opponents. Link backs off in the meantime.
As a human, Link is pretty much exactly like he is in Smash. Midna retreats to his shadow.
Name: Valerie
Universe: Pokémon
Gender: Female
Species: Furry Human
Appearance: This picture.
Personality: She is very warm and gentle, with a big love for pokémon. However, as the Laverre City gym leader, she won't let you win easily in a battle.
Abilities/Weapons: She has a Sylveon and a Spritzee (she also has a Mawile and a Mr. Mime but I'm limiting it to what she's shown to use in-battle in the anime)
Sylveons moveset: Disarming Voice, Fairy Wind, Giga Impact - And I'm adding in Hyper Voice for the sake of a 4th move. Sylveons ability is shown to be Cute Charm, which has a 30% of inducing Attract on an opponent when it hits Sylveon with an attack that requires physical contact.
Spritzees moveset: Dazzling Gleam, Trick Room, Gyro Ball, Moonblast. Its ability isn't shown, but given the fact that Sylveon doesn't have it's hidden ability Pixilate, I'd assume Spritzee also doesn't have it's hidden ability, thus giving it the ability Healer, which for the sake of the RP heals any single ally a bit when Spritzee attacks.
Mr. Mime
Ability: Soundproof (would make him immune to anything based around sound in this RP, so no imitating him with a loud growl, or distracting him with a big explosion, or damaging him with a sonic boom or anything)
Moves:
Light Screen (reduces damage taken from attacks revolving around magic)
Reflect (reduces physical damage taken, also works with earthquakes and thrown/launched/shot objects)
Psychic (let's be honest, we all know what this move does)
Dazzling Gleam (cuz it's still a pokémon of valerie xd.png.png)
Mawile
Ability: Hyper Cutter (Nothing can decrease this pokémon's attack power, other than this pokémon itself)
Moves:
Feint Attack (does very little damage, but cannot be dodged)
Crunch (kinda obvious - just keep in mind Mawile does this with the mouth on the back of its head, rather than the one on its face)
Iron Defense (raises the pokémon's defense)
Non-canon 4th move: Flash Cannon
Furthermore Valerie is able to talk with fairy type pokémon.
Name: Kumatora
Universe: Mother/Earthbound series
Gender: Female
Species: Human
Appearance: Smash-ified for convenience
Personality: Kumatora has a tomboyish nature that doesn't necessarily befit a princess, at least in the traditional sense. The kindest way to describe her would be 'tough.' Some less-than-kind terms include 'brash,' 'headstrong,' 'impulsive' and undoubtedly 'rude.' While the princess of Osohe might be seen as insensitive by some, she has a soft spot reserved for the people she cares about.
Abilities/Weapons: Physically, Kumatora is weak as a kitten compared to Lucas, Duster or even Boney. Her punches do very little to harm her enemies. Indeed, her true strength lies her wide arsenal of PSI attacks, taught to her by the Magypsies. They include:
-Elemental attacks, such as PK Fire or PK Ground. These are her primary attacking moves. Kumatora can also harness the power of PK Starstorm at the cost of draining most of her power.
-Status-inducing attacks, such as Hypnosis, Paralysis and Brainshock. She's less likely to use these, being more offensively inclined, but may occasionally throw one out to surprise her enemies.
-Finally, we have Kumatora's extremely limited healing capabilities. Very rarely does she resort to healing herself as a consequence of pride. She will stubbornly press on with extraordinary amounts of damage before even considering the option. PSI Magnet is more often used so she can throw out more attacks.
In conclusion, if Kumatora runs out of PSI, there's very little she can do. But she'll always go out fighting.
Other: aether-tastic
Okay great, reserving a spot for you!
ETA: Alerting everyone I've clarified who you can play as and added that colour variants of Smashers are allowed, as long as we only have 1 of each Smasher around - so no Peach and White Dress Peach, but White Dress Peach is allowed as long as there are no other Peaches, for example.
Reserve spot for moi, desu~? I'll play F!Robin. I do have a question, though:
Robin is a customizable Avatar from Fire Emblem: Awakening. Therefore, it's name and appearance aren't set in stone until YOU do the thing~ Is it fine if I go with basic-color Robin, with this setup for looks?
Name: Alex (Robin/FeMU; after-story)
Universe: Fire Emblem
Gender: Female
Species: Human...sorta-kinda.
Appearance: Alex stands at 5’3”, is a brunette, with shoulder-length, slightly unruly hair. Under her bangs is a circlet upon her forehead. Her eyes are narrow and a little tired looking, and they are a teal color. Her ears are pierced with ornate studs with black pearls sets. Over her plain white cotton blouse, she wears a black robe with a hood, trimmed in golden braids and lined with maroon, with the image of the Grimleal adorning the heavy-cuffed sleeves and back. A buckled fauld draped with black and gold hangs from her waist, and her seamed white pants tuck into high-finned boots.
Personality: Alex is the honorary tactician of the group of royal knight-mercs called the Shepherds. Once a vessel for the insidious return of Grima, the dragon composed of the bodies/souls of the Earth Dragons who had fallen at the Dragon’s Altar, she has felled and been fallen by her own hand and resurrected by the mere will of the cosmos. For all the nonsense she’s endured, she’s come out more or less the same, if not a lot more social. Before, in a life she did not remember, she was empty and lifeless, acting only as the pawn she was raised to be. After being found by Chrom and company and having her memories wiped, she grew quite comfortable in their camaraderie, and their jolliness and hope towards the future reflected in her.
She’s quite smart, being able to outwit most of the best in wargames, and is a lover of high fantasy and astronomy. However, she is often held back by pangs of insignificance, and can doubt her choices to the point of panic. However, when those she loves are threatened, she’ll break though her hesitation and smite her foes with her personal Wind Tome, Cereal Killer.
Her first crush was the Hero-King Marth, and he is the man who inspired her fascination with dragons with stories of his interactions with Tiki and Xane, the former of which she was starry-eyed to meet in person. Even after dedicating her love to the gentle monk Libra, she still finds herself doodling him idly on her napkins and sketchpads (under sweet Libra’s tutelage, of course.)
Her love of pretty men is shameless. In her history, she went down as "Captain and Tactician of the Bishie Brigade".
Abilities/Weapons: A personal Wind tome named Cereal Killer. Yes, it’s ridiculous. She also has two other tomes, an old Wind tome called Forsety that she’s half scared to use and Meteor, a long-range Fire Tome. She carries a personal Levin Sword called Ilyana (or in bouts of frustration, Useless) and a three-bundle of vulneraries (healing potions of sorts.)
Her skills are (for what it counts; may simplify for sake of RP):
Ignis: In a pinch, doubles either Magic or Strength.
Solidarity: Better crits/crit avoidance when alone.
Swordbreaker: Extra damage to swordsmen.
Tomefaire: Magic is strengthened while holding a Tome.
Galeforce: Once per fight, may strike an enemy, move, and strike again/another, when they otherwise cold not.
Can't promise I'll post often, but I'll join this!
Name: Lucas
Universe: Earthbound/Mother Series
Gender: Male
Species: Human
Appearance: From Sm4sh
Personality: Once a timid crybaby, three years of hardship and tragedy has matured Lucas into the determined, courageous boy he is now. He's still a softie at heart, though.
Abilities/Weapons: Lucas wields a stick (or the occasional baseball bat) as a weapon, and has a variety of psychic powers at his disposal. However, there is a limit to how much power he can exert at a time, before he has to recover his reserves.
His moves are (will probably trim down):
PK Love: His signature attacking move. A psychokinetic blast.
Lifeup: A healing move. In RPG terms, this move heals HP.
Healing: A healing move. In RPG terms, this move cures status effects.
PK Flash: A psychic burst of bright light. Depending on how intense it is, it can cause teariness, confusion, paralysis, or on some rare occasions, an instant knockout.
Defense/Offense Up: A supporting move. Exactly what it sounds like.
Shield/PSI Shield: Psychic shields that can block some of the harm from physical and PSI attacks, respectively. They break after it takes enough damage.
Counter/PSI Counter: Basically the same as above, but with a countering effect as well. Takes more energy to produce.
Refresh: A delayed healing move. In RPG terms, this move heals a little HP every turn.
PK Freeze: A psychic blast of ice. Taught to him for Smash.
PK Fire: A psychic blast of fire. Taught to him for Smash.
PK Thunder: A psychic strike of lightning. Taught to him for Smash.
PSI Magnet: A psychic "magnet" that can absorb psychic attacks and replenish his own reserves. Taught to him for Smash.
PK Starstorm: After getting the Smash Ball, he can use this move to shoot down psychic meteors from the heavens. Taught to him for Smash.
I'm not sure whether to stick with his original game moveset or give him his Smash moves. Any thoughts? Also, aether.
This'll probably be pretty weird. I'm playing a character that's a Smasher, but I love me some spinoffs, so he's not in his Ocarina of Time or Twilight Princess forms (as he is in Smash)
Name: Ganondorf
Universe: The Legend of Zelda (Specifically, Hyrule Warriors: Legends)
Gender: Male
Species: Gerudo
Appearance: Too big of a picture, but isn't he fabulous? (Oh, and here's proof of how fabulous he is. Please don't actually believe this. Please.)
Personality: Ganondorf is normally arrogant and apathetic towards most of the other Smashers. The only time he'll show respect is if Ganon's challenged by someone of relatively equal power... and there weren't too many of those in the tournament.
His battle style is strategic. Much of the time, these other Smashers are faster than he is. They overestimate their advantage, and that's about when they take the flat of a sword to their face to prove a point. Of course, this strategy didn't help him in the tournament; he was knocked out of it fairly late (around the quarterfinals-ish).
Ganon's still awfully miffed about that. Try not to talk to him about it.
Abilities/Weapons: He wields two massive Great Swords and much of the magic he's picked up over the years. Many of his normal attacks are a combination of the two, but the more notable attacks are:
Side Special: Ganondorf readies his swords for a few moments, then launches a devastating double stab that can send opponents flying. In the air, he moves a moderate distance alongside the attack. (Based on Warlock Punch.)
Down Special: On the ground, Ganon begins slashing his swords in all directions, dealing minor damage to opponents, but leaving them stuck in the outline of the slash. Moments later, regardless of whether or not someone's trapped, the outlines explode, dealing medium damage.
In the air, it's a downwards kick infused with dark power that puts airborne victims back on the ground.
Up Special: On the ground, Ganon puts his swords up, then swings them in a downwards arc, putting victims to the sides of him most of the time.
In the air, he uses a similar method of movement to the Air variant of his Side Special, using the momentum of a thrust to carry him a middling distance upwards.
Final Smash: Lightning arcs on the ground in front of Ganondorf. The first wave leaves opponents in the air, ready to be attacked by the next two waves of electricity. The last sends opponents flying.
(This is based on Hyrule Warriors Ganondorf's Special Attack, where he bathes a large area in front of him in a nice electric wave of death. You can use it up to 3 times in a row with certain character upgrades, hence 3 waves.)
Silly dwaghin! Aether is for hoomans!
Expect my second form in tonight, tomorrow at the latest.
Dusky, is it okay to start out in an associated stage for your universe? i.e Inactive Castle Siege for FE charas? And can we start outside of a stage, as well? (adjoining forest/caves/rodes, etc.)
