I just wanted to make sure nobody would misunderstand it. And I had some stuff I wanted to mention anyways and yeah, as I said already, I think the map is great for a rough sketch.

 

Individual close-ups would be nice if it won't be too much work.

I think that would be a great idea, Mage! I like the idea of individual close-ups. And my thinking is that the setup is a clockwise (I think?) spiral. I can probably put up a better picture of the map (considering the map I posted is sideways) to better show the spiral.

This should look a little better. I took a smaller photo so it wouldn't stretch the page. Also I added up to Sector 15, since we have one character in there. I think Sector 15 can be a little more on the urban side, just for the sake of people to interact with. White sectors are just territory not claimed/given a specific description by another player. They're controlled by a villain that is not being played. Or a villain can be in charge of that sector, they could've just taken it from a villain who is running free. .....I should've thought about that when I was editing the rules of this rp, whoops.

 

And Mage, if you want you can also draw a map based on our individual closeups that can go onto the rp thread. Completely up to you, but I know you mentioned you might draw one.

I am familiar with alignments but due to my indecisiveness, I used this as a source. I like that it summarizes the alignments in a simple sentence. ^^

 

Natevaelle is Neutral Good--she will do what is right and is willing to compromise if for the best of the majority.

 

I added this information below my character sheet just to have all the details in once place. If it is not too much of a bother, may we have all the character sheets in the first post of this thread? This way, it would be easy to read on and review the characters, especially when new ones come later on in the story. ^^

Bowser - Neutral Evil, could potentially become True Neutral later on

Blacky - Chaotic Evil

Dusky - Ranges from True Neutral to Chaotic Evil depending on mood and the person (normal emotion!Dusky is True Neutral to Lawful Evil, snapped!Dusky is Neutral Evil to Chaotic Evil)

Voltalia - Lawful Good or Lawful Neutral at first - situation depending, potential future Lawful/Chaotic Evil

 

Also, can villains on the loose take over sectors? Because I can see Blackmail at least trying that...

 

ETA: Also just noticed Han Solo and Blackmail Blacky have uncannily similar modus operandis for dealing with situations...

Decided to make a list of who is starting where. Will update as more people post. Only listed sectors with a RPer's character known to start there. Sector bosses are assumed to start in their sector.

I noticed I accidentally described Shadow Knights as being two feet tall, instead of twelve... :/ Updated it now. I also added the fact that the tower is black to the details list and, although it was already made clear by the mosters section, the details list now also more directly points out that the tower is called the Shadow Tower.

@Dusky_Flareon Great idea to list which characters are in which sector. I couldn't find any mistakes. (except the way "location" is spelled)

@Natevaelle I do like that as well. I'm going to add that to the character sheet coding.

 

I'm a little unsure where I would align two of my characters, but here goes:

 

Professor- Most likely a chaotic good.

Han Solo- Chaotic good or chaotic neutral, he's a tough one to align.

Maximum Ride- Chaotic good

Lara Kashirin- Neutral good

Malefor- Chaotic evil

 

I'm gonna finish drawing my sector, and once I post it on here I'll work on my first post.

I have an idea for a 4th character, I just can't happen to come up with a character that suits that role, either canon or OC. I'll update a sheet once I found something that fits. This character can be added at any point (I think; he's not in charge of a sector and doesn't have a very prominent personality (And yes, HE will be male. And humanoid to a certain degree.)) so no waiting will be required whatsoever.

Okay, so my sector is done. I tried to re-create the temple (with a few little things- Esko drew the dragon statue in the middle). But for a better reference, I took some pictures while watching the gameplay and drawing at the same time.

 

 

I tried to base the volcano-ish area on this:

 

There are small villages scattered throughout. The people here often use magic to make it across the lava, as well as an intricate network of small bridges and climbing zones throughout the sector. Malefor typically leaves the citizens alone as long as they do his will. Unfortunately, his underlings don't often show the same mercy. Here are the types of enemies found (note: the Burned Lands has the WORST lighting for taking screenshots, and Google isn't helpful at the moment, so here they are):

 

Small enemies (the annoying little flying things) are known as Grublins.

 

Slightly more human-sized enemies are what I call Orcs.

 

And then there are two different types of large enemies- Trolls:

 

And the Armored Trolls:

 

There are also Wyverns:

 

And here's my map, sorry if I made this post unnecessarily long...

(I only inked the temple because there was just too much detail to not do so.)

This kid however, is definitely going to intercept either Blacky or Dusky in sector 7 once she gets accepted. Probably Dusky, with how things are going.

Age: 13

Appearance: A young girl who stands at five feet even, with a round face full of freckles and a button nose. Her black hair reaches her cheeks and is left down, with small clumps on either side tied up. She wears a light yellow short sleeved jacket over a white longsleeve and khaki shorts. She is rather unremarkable, and often seems to go unnoticed. // Biyomon is a small bipedal pink bird digimon with blue tipped feathers and a curl at the top of her head. She stands about 3 feet tall.

Personality: A quiet girl who always seems to have a smile on her face despite standing alone in the corner most of the time. She is too shy to form permanent friends and as such is quite lonely. Naomi prefers to avoid conflict or being the center of attention. At times, though, she can be surprisingly brave and insightful when it comes to defending her values. // Biyomon is brash and always ready to fight, sometimes even defying the orders of her tamer. She wants to get stronger so she can protect Naomi and just wants her friend to start standing up for herself.

Relationship to canon character (if applicable): Goes to the same school as the main characters.

History:

Only daughter of a middle class family, Naomi was for the most part left to her own devices. Both her parents worked late shifts and she would often find herself alone until she went to sleep and they came back. When she was younger, her grandmother would take care of her but ever since she passed away Naomi had been more of a shut-in than usual. Her parents thought that when they were at work Naomi had some friends to pass the time with, but that was a lie to stop them from worrying. Truth is, she felt too awkward to make any lasting friends at school.

 

The Digimon franchise was quite popular around this time and while her family didn't have too much money, she did get a certain amount of allowance. Wanting to at least know what the hype was all about with the other kids, she bought a little virtual pet and a few cards that went with it. She got attached to it very fast to make sure it was fed and happy and healthy. She never dreamed of resetting but had to come to terms with the fact that even these digital creatures had limited lifespans.

 

Naomi found one of the fated blue cards in her room one day. Curious to see what it was and figuring the worst that could happen was that the reader wouldn't recognize it, she swiped it. Nothing happened initially, but after a few moments the device with her virtual pet started to glow and take the shape of an actual D-Power Digivice. She thought she was dreaming. Why her? Instead of her little bird digimon, the display now showed a radar with glowing point not too far away. She hesitated. It was late. It could be dangerous. But keeping her steps soft against the floorboards to not alert her parents who thought she was asleep, Naomi snuck out of the house with a flashlight in hand and strong hunch about what just happened.

 

After traveling through narrow alleys that made Naomi's skin tingle, she finally arrived to the spot her Digivice marked, and saw a slumped mass of pink feathers behind some pipes. Recognizing it as her digimon, Naomi immediately ran forward to pick the bird up, regretting that she didn't bring a blanket to wrap it in.

The digital world is a cruel, mon-eat-mon place. Having been raised from an egg through human intervention, however, has sheltered Biyomon from the real violence of her world and given her a false sense of bravado. The wish for her to meet her caretaker was strong enough to take advantage of the already weakening bond between the digital and the physical world. Like many other digital monsters, Biyomon traveled through the network to bio-emerge and take a physical form of flesh and blood, but not without being attacked by other digimon who also wanted a chance in the real world. She barely made it, though she passed out from wounds and exhaustion before Naomi found her.

 

Ever since they've been inseparable. Naomi even snuck Biyomon to school in her bag, much to the digimon's displeasure. It was a big secret and the best secret, although she couldn't help but notice that underclassman Henry Wong was a little suspicious with his "digimon plush" peeking out of his bag as well.

 

Through Biyomon's repeated nagging about wanting to get stronger, Naomi bought a small collection of power-up cards, although she never got to use them up until they unexpectedly were transferred by the Professor's machine.

 

Sexuality: Pansexual(?)

Weapon/Special Power: Naomi relies on her digimon to fight for her. Biyomon has some wind-based attacks, but the duo's strength lies in the fact that Naomi can provide her boosts through cards and trigger a digivolution into a stronger form.

 

The current cards Naomi has on hand are Power, Speed, Garuru Blaster, and Digivolution, which respectively grant a boost in strength, a boost in agility, a single shot of a freezing ice blast, and digivolution to the next stage. These cards are reusable but each has a significant cooldown period.

 

Biyomon's evolution line, differing from anime, is as follows: Biyomon --> Kokatorimon --> Parrotmon --> Valkyrimon*

 

Digivolving exhausts Biyomon and after devolving back to her base form, she is unable to do so again until a few hours have passed. Currently she can only get as far as the second stage.

 

*Valkyrimon is a Biomerge digivolution, meaning that to reach that stage Naomi and Biyomon must fuse. Don't worry about this right now.

Age: ~7,000 years old

Appearance: (See picture.)

Personality: Beleg was the kind of elf who "followed no man" and "could not be restrained". When his King Thingol would have nothing to do with the war of the Noldor, he and his friend Mablung went to fight with the Union of Maedhros in the Nirnaeth Arnoediad. He is very kind and fair to all benevolent creatures and people of all races. Mistaking him for an enemy, a group of human outlaws tortured him until their leader returned and verified that he was indeed his friend. In turn, he was kind to these outlaws, sharing his special elvish provisions with them and healing them despite his suffering in their hands. He is also very loyal friend, even going as far as venturing on a perilous quest just to save a friend.

Relationship to canon character (if applicable): N/A. He's a canon character.

History: Beleg Cúthalion was a Sinda and one of the great captains who served King Elu Thingol of Doriath. He was considered to be the best archer and huntsman of his time. He was captain of the Marchwardens and therefore was usually on duty on Doriath's northern borders near Brethil, Dimbar and Nan Dungortheb. He was one of the only two Elves from Doriath who joined the hosts of the Noldor in Nirnaeth Arnoediad. He took part in the Hunting of the Wolf, together with King Thingol, Mablung, Beren Ercharmion, and the great hound Huan. He was a good friend and brother-in-arms of Túrin Turambar and thus became ensnared in Túrin's accursed fate.

Sexuality: Male

Weapon/Special Power: His bow is Belthronding, which is made of black yew wood. His arrow is Dailir, which remains unharmed after all its uses so far. His sword is Anglachel, which is made from a meteorite. Anglachel is black but it glows. It is so hard that it cam easily slice through iron. Additionally, Beleg is a master in the arts of healing.

I couldn't find any character that fit the personality I had in mind; but while searching I did stumble upon a great replacement.

Age: Thirteen. "The man's wide torso, a target she could've hit even when she was half her thirteen winters, torqued away from the missile with a warrior's speed and grace. The weapon sailed over the snow. Taking Jodis' life with it."

Appearance: A young girl with long blond hair and bright blue eyes. Despite her young age she looks very mature.

Personality: She is a very skilled and dedicated huntress, inspired by her mother, Sefa, the greatest huntress that ever lived on the tundra where Jodis used to reside. She values both home and family a lot; but she has neither left. She has no fear of dying.

Relationship to canon character (if applicable): N/A, is canon character.

History: She was born and raised in the tundra, playing, and later on practicing for hunting, in the snow. One fateful day at her thriteenth she just knew she was giong to die - even the snow was telling her. This was, or so thought Jodis, because there were six eastlanders in the distance, ready to ambush her as she was close enough. She was warned for this beforehand, but she wouldn't listen.

She ran, and the eastlanders quickly ran after her. One couldn't climb the wall of snow protecting the village she ran from from outsiders, two ran into bear traps and Jodis could kill a forth one by throwing one of her spears. She tried to kill the fifth one with her other spear, leaving only one person for her to fight; two adult fists against her knife. But the spear was dodged, and Jodis was taken by force.

As one of the two remaining eastlanders tried to use Jodis' wasted spear to free one of the two eastlanders in a bear trap, they got stuck under an avalanche. The man that was carrying Jodis ran in fear, and it didn't take long for Jodis to notice why: a giant creature had awoken and risen from the snow. As the man fled the giant creature stepped on him.

Jodis saw she was now close to her home, she ran and barred the door, after closing all of the locks. However, the giant creature ripped the roof off her house and picked her up, asking her where the giants were.

As soon as this woman - the giant who was no giant - had explained her about how she was one of the titans, who fought the giants, the godess of war Mathala showed up. The titan put Jodis on the ground and Mathala explained the titan, who was called Thisne, how the titans had beaten the giants, and how they became gods. There are but a few giants left in the far north, where none of the gods dare to go out of fear a giant might still be able to kill a god, and that Thisne had to go there to become one of the Gods, as she hadn't become one the first time because she was dead. Mathala picked up Jodis, thought she knew too much, and proposed to kill her. But she saw Jodis courage, she saw she had no fear, so she turned her into an angel when crushing her. An angel destined to accompany Thisne alongside her journey to become a godess. And Thisne succeeded.

Sexuality: Most likely straight.

Weapon/Special Power: She's armored with two spears and a knife. In addition to this, she can hear the snow talking to her as it crunches. She can also fly, and she's a very skilled huntress despite her young age.

As for Jodis, if I happen to make a new post tomorrow (probably not) involving her (even less likely), then she'll just be surviving in her area.
