The "ALMOST Cool Code" Dragons Project

Recommended Posts

I really like the idea behind this concept - and have a couple of almost cool codes.

It's also good to know that joke names in languages other than English are acceptable, but it also means I'll have to look through things again.

Anyway, I did a little PB testbreeding, but it auto'ed. The parents' names match. Kind of.

I'll give you a full list ASAP.

0sddx one out

and my new personal favorite

AwwBX It's a cute baby dragon (It would not accept the ... so you will have to think that it is there. frozen to fit the name, which is very special, I do not freeze that often. This is one of two frozen on my scroll.)

I had to give up my (unofficial) "there has to be a space or a special character between the code and the rest of the name" rule for two of these.

And I just saw there's an unanswered question:

It's not an "officially allowed exception" yet, but maybe we should add it?

I see why you prefer it with the space here.

I'd love to see that added as it would mean a bunch more of mine could be accepted. biggrin.gif

I'll try to add the full set in a few days. laugh.gif

I added this to the first post:

---

If my almost cool code has two or more words, can I separate them by inserting spaces?

Keep the code intact whenever possible. (Ideally, a DC player who looks at the dragon will immediately notice that the "weird" group of 4 or 5 characters could be a dragon code. Then they check if it actually is that dragon's code, and feel happy when they see they guessed correctly. ^^)

However, if the lack of spaces between words would make it too difficult to understand the meaning of the name, or if it bothers you for another reason, then add the space(s).

This is the 2nd exception from the "use the code exactly as it is" rule.

---

Coincidentally... biggrin.gif

... I think this one really looks better with the space, although it makes the code less recognizable as a code.

Unfortunately I'm egglocked, but I want to mention a Water dragon in the Coast biome - the leftmost egg - with a code that looks somewhat like 'blub' smile.gif

I hope someone gets it smile.gif

New ACC dragon(s)

herJL jokes are funny

sorry just walking 3byJB

hehe, well, i sadly dont have her linage link, because he is an adult (sadly, instead of being female, its male regardless of its code lol) he is an adult so idk how to get to its linage though....

You click on the dragon, then copy/paste the address in the address bar, paste it into the post and change view to lineage.

So

http://dragcave.net/view/herJL

and

http://dragcave.net/view/3byJB

become

http://dragcave.net/lineage/herJL

and

Zilveren sjRAd

Sieraad means ornament or jewelry in dutch. I have been pondering this one for a few days. but I think he is a jewel so I did go with the dutch name. May rename this one to be more international later but for now he will be ornamenting my scroll like this. This one was donated by Lagie.
