Pink Crystal

Rosebud Feather.

 

Same. The game won't let me leave the dragon's cave. All it has are the options to ask where the other one is and if it needs anything. Can anyone help me?

Seriously hoping that the badge is just based upon how many days you play and not how many items one collects (or if it is based on number of items - that there's a margin for error (ex. if there are 20 items - collecting between 18 - 20 gives you this badge, 10 - 17 this badge, etc)

So calm down and use your gamersense to detect a sidequest and do the sidequest first. Fortunatly i don't encounter a glitch and as soon as i smell a sidequest i do that first. For me a sidequest is screaming sidequest to me and i grab everything that i can grab.

The hatchlings are so cute; I can't wait to see what they grow up to be.

 

I'm really liking the event so far; I'm just hoping that we can go back through it again when it's over, because I missed the statue, and I hate having empty spots.

I think the question was whether the badge would VARY by how much we participate - like the Christmas one varied according to our choices - and as Sock said - no.

Hmmm question regarding the black Sweetlings popping up in hatcheries. Am I correct in understanding the Wiki - all sweetlings on your scroll will follow the same colour variant? Ie if a PinkSweetling produced offspring which then hatched on a BlackSweetling scroll, they'd be the black alt? Kind of like the wings on SnowAngels?

Correct. Except it is a little different from the SA situation. No one can ever have the black Sweetlings except those who have black CB Sweetlings. That is because they were compensation for a glitch.

Going to address a couple things:

Everyone gets the same badge, as long as they took part in the event.

 

Those who havent gotten caught in loops yet:~> Dont climb the tree until you have everything. Revisit the other paths until you figure it out.<~

 

Those who missed the statue: Sorry, my fault. I forgot to put pages to let you go back for it. Formatting confusion led to mistakes. I knew the Christmas event would have people on edge about taking it, but I just assumed nearly everyone would swipe it, as there was no evidence that doing so would necessarily be a bad thing

 

 

Edit: Fun story:

Huggyface belongs to my son Toby (who does have an entry on the wiki). There is a story there behind the names. He was about 5 at the time.

 

At the time Huggyface was named, Toby's favorite character from Batman was Harvey Two Face.. but no matter how hard he tried to say it, he kept saying Huggyface. At that time, he would name all of his dragons based on what he saw around the house, or whatever I wrote down as the name he said he wanted to use (because we were using the game as a way to help teach him to spell and type among other things). Since he kept saying Huggyface, that is what I wrote down for him to name it. Hence, Harvey being known as Huggyface

I tried cleaning my history/cache and it did nothing, I also tried different browsers.

 

BUT I found something that will jump you out of the cave:

 

Go to http://dragcave.net/valentines16/story/d3r1,  "Heading into the Forest", from there you can continue on with today's play. You will have to use it again after going back if you wish to do the flower extra thing, if it's any like my play through!

There is usually only one sprite not counting the spriter's alt. I would advise against freezing until next year, when people can breed and produce more.

Thank you everyone who answered my question about the Badge (so glad to hear that the badge is the same regardless, and not based on number of items found [like the Trick or Treat badge is] - I was having a bit of difficulty understanding if that's what 'based on participation' meant )

 

And ugh, grow up faster little ones! I wanna see your adult form and see if what looks like a cute little white heart on your side will also be on your adult form!

And for those of us who went rogue, and climbed that thing first ... are we now out the bucket and the flowers? And in my case the statue too.
