Plot

For many years now, people in the world have suddenly been known to develop supernatural abilities. Records of ESP have existed for almost as long as humanity has with no known origin. Sometimes, individuals are simply born with abilities. Other times, after experiencing severe trauma or near-death scenarios, people have suddenly found themselves able to fly or read minds. But this number of individuals have always been small and the treatment they have received has always been different. Sometimes, they are persecuted as witches. Other times, they were worshipped as gods. But as time passed, they faded into superstition with world governments insisting they do not exist at all.

This is hardly true.

March 15, 2010. Several government buildings scattered across the USA simultaneously burst into flames and collapsed, injuring thousands but miraculously killing none. The culprits made no show of hiding themselves and instead embraced the spotlight they had been given. They were ESPers. They were tired of being tossed aside and ignored by the masses and they were making themselves known to the world. They demanded to be recognized and requested that all ESPers in hiding make an effort to find them so that they could form their own country. However, immediately afterwards, the United States government informed the press they wanted to create a section of the military dedicated to ESPers to help spread peace and show that they meant no harm to these super powered humans.

Ten years has passed since this time. ESPers are slowly coming out of hiding but their choices are limited and fear is still present. Those who were responsible for burning down the government buildings have been labelled as criminals while those that join the military are given secret aliases and sent out to fight against their own kind. Technology designed to prevent ESPers from using their powers has been developed and is regularly used within government buildings and in many places like airports, but it is too expensive to use globally. With devices to detect ESPers from their brainwaves on the rise, it has become harder to stay in hiding. But there is no clear direction or path to follow. Moreover, with the fact ESPers have no rights as humans and are not protected by law, it is hard to survive without choosing a side.

Will you join the fugitive ESPers in their efforts to unify ESPers and form their own country? Or will you side with your own nation and attempt to unite both normal and superpowered humans? Or will you hold onto your powers and try to keep them hidden from the public eye?

Sides

The Government, or more specifically a special offshoot of it dedicated to tracking ESPers, is the most notable collection of ESP users in the United States. It is one of the only places open ESPers can acquire jobs and actively recruits ESPer individuals. These ESPers are given a variety of jobs that mostly revolve around stopping other ESPers that aim for the separation of regular humans and superpowered ones. They protect ESPers that work for them by offering them places to live and allowing younger ESPers to go to school, even if these normally would not be permitted for an ESPer. They have been known to imprison criminal ESPers and the status of these law-breakers is unknown.

ESPer DefensE against Normals, or E.D.E.N. is an organization composed completely of ESPers. Abandoning their original countries and joining together, they have been renounced as criminals by nearly all countries and now live their lives trying to recruit other ESPers and convince them to leave behind their old ties and move towards a new future. They've committed many crimes including theft, bribery, arson and even have been found to have killed several normal individuals. However, they offer peace to ESPers when society would otherwise shun their powers or reject them.

Types of ESP

ESP is a fairly broad word used to describe supernatural powers that originate from the mind. Examples of ESP include Clairvoyance, Telepathy, Teleportation and Psychokinesis, however, the list goes on much farther than that. The limit of what ESP is, essentially, the limit of imagination. But because those who use ESP are still human, there are some small restrictions.

Most individuals with ESP have only one or two abilities manifest within them. Even when multiple abilities can be found within one person, they are usually balanced. This means that an individuals who possesses, say, telepathy and precognition will find themselves having weaker telepathy compared to an individual who is just a telepath and their predictions of the future will come less often compared to someone who only has the precognition ability. Individuals who have only one ability are often dubbed as “pure” while those with several abilities are usually called “mixed”. Despite this, each individual uses ESP in different ways. Someone with teleportation may only teleport part of their body instead of their entire body, or teleport others instead of themselves. Creativity among ESPers knows no bounds so have fun.

Pudding

Name: Laurence ‘Lars’ [Last name omitted]

Age: 26

Gender: Male

ESP Powers: Lars has only one ability and this is Psychokinesis. This power allows him to manipulate physical objects with just his mind. Often times, this is used on himself to allow him to fly at high speeds. Choosing to be fairly original with his ability, Lars likes to take seemingly harmless objects like paperclips, pebbles and other mundane objects and accelerate them to dangerously high speeds to inflict often fatal injuries. Because he has only one ability and it has manifested very strong within him, he has some resistance to the machines designed to stop ESPers from using their abilities and requires more to stop him from using his abilities. His abilities are limited by his own mental efforts and his senses. If blinded, he has a great deal of difficulty manipulating things with accuracy and if his power is overused, he can easily wear his own mind out to the point of mental exhaustion and even death. His flight is probably his most obvious use of his ability as he uses it to evade capture, piss people off and scare birds.

Appearance: While he is older, Lars appears much younger than his actual age and is able to fairly easily pass as a young college student. Keeping his facial hair limited to none helps reinforce this look as well and his large, unassuming grey eyes help back up that there is nothing to this young man but smiles and friendship. His hair is a very golden blond and rather long and untidy, usually left to spike up in whatever direction it so chooses based on how he fell asleep and tossed around during the night. Playing up the part of being average, Lars wears two outfits depending on the occasion:

As a very normal, definitely not ESPer individual, Lars can be found wearing plain, dark blue skinny jeans and a white T-shirt with black sleeves. Donning small, thin-framed glasses to help complete the look, all it takes is a little bit of body spray to let him blend in with one of the boys. Especially since this so-called criminal only is 5’7” and hardly stands out in a crowd when he is trying.

But, when he is trying to attract attention or stand as a beacon for justice for ESPers around the world, Lars wears a long, grey trench coat with a dark red interior. With a lighter grey shirt on underneath and brown pants as well as black boots, he tends to look much more obvious and stands out as both a target and an icon for ESPers to follow or shoot at.

History: Lars was born to a single mother. Very early on he learned his mother was an ESPer. Possessing psychokinesis, she used her abilities rather passively to help her get to work and do well at her job or to help make dinner. But she was eventually found out by their neighbors and Lars was pried away from her to ‘keep him safe’. Thrown into several adoption agencies, he was shuffled around for years before finally waking up one night to find his mother standing at the foot of his bed. Stealing him away in the night, she managed to get several states away before the police eventually found them. His mother was shot in the altercation between them and, thanks to the intense feelings at the time, Lars’s own abilities manifested and both he and his injured mother disappeared. He was eight at the time.

Eight years later, Lars became known to the public once more, this time as the organizer of the plot that would isolate him and his followers from the government. Having gathered several other ESPers to help, he formed E.D.E.N and separated himself from normal humans. Now being very open to the public once more, he has become one of the most nefarious ESPers in the world and has committed hundreds of crimes. In the ten years since this point, he has built E.D.E.N up larger than ever before and now has several secret bases scattered around the world that he and his partners operate out of. He is in charge of most of their affairs but, rather surprisingly, tends to take the front lines in the fights and uses his charm and charisma to recruit new followers while committing atrocities against regular people.

Side: Leader and founder of E.D.E.N

Other:

Name: Livia ‘’Nano” Jones

Age: 18

Gender: Female

ESP Powers: Nano has a pure user of teleportation. Her abilities are not limited to herself as she can also teleport objects or people. The restriction of this is she has to have some contact with the object she is attempting to teleport, either directly through her hand or indirectly through a pole or other medium. Her ability also requires intense concentration, meaning that she cannot use it if she is distracted or in some kind of extreme pain.

The primary application of Nano’s ability is either self transportation by moving herself to various locations, or to trap individuals by warping them to an area they cannot easily escape from. While her abilities have the capacity to be lethal (By, say, teleporting a large stone into a person’s body), she refuses to use them in this way and instead prefers the capture method, especially when it comes to other ESPers (Regardless of if they are the enemy or not).

Appearance: The most undeniable fact about Nano is that she is short. Standing at just barely 5 feet, this small but very sturdy girl is ready for some action. Wearing army green kakis with a black waist and two large pockets on the side, she also wears a white tank top trimmed with red with gloves that match. She wears two white, simple earnings. Her eyes are a very dark brown that almost looks black from a distance and she has long, dark brown hair that hangs freely down her back. She wears two decorative flower pins on either side of her head, one blue and one green. She can usually by found with a red toolbox filled with nuts and bolts and carrying around a wrench.

History: Nano’s abilities manifested inside of her when she was born so there wasn’t a moment she was without them. Noticing these differences in their child very often, her parents were unsure of what to do. Eventually just raising her on their own and homeschooling her, they eventually handed her over to the government as soon as the ESPer program was opened, making her one of the first ESPers to join. While she did miss her parents at first, the government encouraged her to use her innate abilities. Growing strong under their care, she grew much happier and began to use her abilities to help fight against other ESPers, using her own experiences to help try to encourage them to her side. While her jobs are primarily tracking down criminal ESPers and bringing them in, she has been known to become distracted and recruit civilian ESPers to their cause instead.

Side: Government

Other: Her nickname is a result of her short height and is primarily used among her friends.

Thaelasan

Name: "Arc" Archer White

Age: 23

Gender: Male

ESP Powers: Ethereal control, but more in the form of electrical limbs that resemble jellyfish tendrils. Arc sees them more as bolts of lightning, which flash quickly and are naked to the human eye. ESPers, however, can normally see them with less trouble. They are extremely dangerous and conductive but Arc has found that he cannot control more than four without risk to his own health, as it requires his bio-electric current and a lot of his metabolic energy to perform.

Time Skip/Return:

Arc's life spent delving into powers and driving himself insane led him to create a new power which shocked many who've discovered it - Arc is currently able to backtrack or move forward ten minutes in time - at the risk to himself. However, the world doesn't move, only Arc. Using his telekinetic abilities, he moves his mind to a place in time where it was before or after an event. He deems this ability Reflection, because he cannot move forward in time unless he already moved backward. He also is unable to alter events, only look at them again, in order to remember information. But he can only move ten minutes at a time, and any pain he received during those ten minutes is brought back to him vividly, as though he was there, as well as any other emotions.

Appearance: His hair seems to be albino in origin, driven white by years of this strange, psychological power he has, which has caused most of his pigmentation to be removed. His skin is pale, and his eyes have gotten tinges of red. Not even HE can explain what's causing it, other than the fact that his own tendrils may have radioactive properties - if so, perhaps they're cancerous, and therefore even more dangerous to use extensively.

Other than that, his form is very average. Standing at 5'10, with short, cropped, white hair, and a very pale complexion, he normally wears clothes suited for a researcher.

History: Once, he was part of E.D.E.N. - once. He once despised the humans for taking his family from him because of his powers, being deemed frightening or otherwise an exile. Furious for their ignorance and blind fear, he began to WANT to make them fear him, and began delving deeper into his progressive research and experimentation, creating ways for his tendrils to become even more powerful. At first, his power was simple telekinesis at a short range but with a bit of work, he realized how to focus that telekinesis into limbs, and how to manipulate his own electrical energy into power for it.

Thus, from that, began his own mutations, turning himself from a once, bright, esteemed prodigy into a mad scientist, hell bent upon the destruction of humanity. But a young girl changed his mind entirely when she appeared before him when he attempted to kill her human father in a blind rage.

She trapped him within a reality in which he saw what he had once been, and completely paused his life. In a single moment, all that he had done was shown to him, and almost broke him. Yet, for some reason, she released him.

He discovered her power had no offensive capability, and, thus, deigned that he would atone for what he had done by defending her with his broken life. Yet his madness is still prevalent and his goals are clouded. The enigma known as Arc has no set plan, and that's how it suits him.

Side: Currently unaligned, and desiring nothing to do with either side so long as they hold within them selfish views.

Other: "This. THIS IS NOTHING! The work may continue, the results must be obtained!"

Name: "Mel" Melody Leon

Age: 19

Gender: Female

ESP Powers: Spacial-time distortion, but is more based on a reality forged of memories, either her own, or those of her victim. Her powers cannot kill, nor can they hurt - at least, she doesn't wish to use them for that. So far, she can only trap one person in a bubble, and she must concentrate in order to hold it. It's also apparent that she sees whatever the person sees, making her a valuable interrogator for those who would wish for her.

But she despises the power, as the memories stick with her, and cause her proportionally painful headaches after each session.

Appearance: Black hair, and a fragile form, Mel almost appears to be a ghost. Her wraith-like appearance deemed her a fitting name - Specter - by those within the Government and even EDEN. Her eyes are grey, the pupils no longer visible. It's not known whether or not she is blind, but she seems to see just fine.

History: She was taken at a young age by a group of ESPer rebels, who discovered her ability rather quickly. Hopeful that they could use her against agents of the Government, they forced her into service for them for roughly 4 years, threatening her father's life and her own if she didn't comply. The pain nearly drove her mad. The group was a contingent known as Strife, and its only true desire was self-wealth and power.

Her father finally broke free of confinement and helped her daughter escape during a strange, destructive event. A panic had broken out near the compound, due to an ESPer suddenly destroying much of the city.

Arc, unaffiliated with either side, was on a blind rampage, finally having lost his entire mind, and it was either fate or luck that forced Melody and her father into his path. Melody claims it was that day that she saved him.

After she made him calm himself, she turned to her father, happy, but reluctant.

"...For now... there is no way for us to live together... But I'll come back someday... and I'll bring him with me."

And thus, the two of them fled into the shadows.

Side: Unaligned.

Other: "Just sing to me your truths. Please. Make it easier."

Name: Lesley Grey

Age: 20

Gender: Female

ESP Powers: Telekinesis on a very basic scale. It allows her to manipulate and move things with only a thought but she must be able to see what she's moving and the weight seems to be based on her own personal strength. So far, it requires a great amount of energy for her to lift a car, and that's the largest thing she may lift, and only one thing at a time depending on size.

Empowerment - A special supportive power, Lesley may convert all her energy into empowering someone else's abilities, giving them benefits based on what their ability is. A clairvoyant person may be able to see further into the future or around the world, while a telekinetic would be able to lift even larger things. However, because she must focus, she cannot empower herself.

Appearance: Long, brown hair and blue eyes. She stands at 5'9", and normally chooses to wear more tomboyish clothing. The only "feminine" thing she chooses to wear are a pair of earrings she covets, claiming them as a gift from her brother. They seem rather expensive.

History: After her family was taken by the government, and her brother went missing, Lesley took it upon herself to search for them, beginning her own escapade at only the age of 16. Her search led her to EDEN, where she discovered he'd been working in the technology department, and then suddenly the trail went cold roughly 2 years ago.

Fortunately, EDEN promised to help her find her brother in exchange for her services. Unable to find another alternative and seeing that her goals aligned with theirs, she now works under them, believing that their path is just.

Side: EDEN

Other: "If you can't respect your own power, you're really just weak."

MrSpyro

Name: Austin Texas (He will avoid the subject of his last name like the plague)

Age: 16

Gender: Male

ESP Powers: Cryokinesis- he can freeze stuff.

Appearance: Austin is tall and skinny, with golden blonde hair that is cut short and brown eyes. He has lots of freckles on his cheeks and he wears glasses.

History: He has a pretty normal life. He's a fraternal triplet from a relatively normal family, he goes to school every day, he has some friends, etc.

Side: Neutral, but his brother Dallas is secretly working for E.D.E.N. and his other brother, Houston, is secretly working for the government. None of the trio are aware of the others' allegiance.

Other:

Shadow_Claw

Name: Namina Waltz

Age: mid-twenties to early thirties.

Gender: Female

ESP Powers: Namina is a talented shape-shifter, known to be able to alter her entire appearance to become an entirely different person. Her abilities extend to humanoid appearances but she can give herself inhuman attributes as long as the main human shape remains. Other than this, she is able to alter the looks of others as well. She can only trigger changes in others by touch, and it only lasts as long as she's in close proximity. Scars and serious injuries remain constant throughout whatever changes she makes, but tattoos do not.

Appearance: Although her original appearance is unknown, she often takes the form of a young woman. She is tall, somewhat thick, and has dark olive skin. Her black hair is usually kept up in either a braid or bun. Her attire usually consists of a tank top, jeans, and a large backpack.

History: Mina has stated in that past that she has shady origins. Her parents either abandoned her or died, and she has no siblings. Most of her life she had spent drifting. She stayed in school long enough to quit, before taking to a life of crime. As such, Namina is a skilled thief and is infamous for being hard to track.

Side: neutral, or wherever the cash is.

Other:

Name: Jet

Age: Is damaged and rusted enough to be at least five

Gender: robots don't have genders, but responds to he/they

Appearance: Jet looks like...a normal human. Except they obviously aren't. Other than the fact that the (surprisingly realistically painted) skin is totally metal, he's much stronger and much more immature than a human his size should be. His hands can reassemble into a multi-tool, and a taser.

History: Created by the technopath [REDACTED], android JET was found abandoned after [REDACTED]. Several attempts to repair damaged memory drives and an even more damaged exterior, and it was put into storage by [REDACTED].

Side: Is currently left inactive in a government base, gathering dust.

@Spyro and Shadow: I've got you two marked down for spots!

@Thael: I can't accept your characters yet on several regards:

-The Government doesn't forcefully experiment on or trap ESPers. The only ones they forcefully capture are from E.D.E.N. and the status of these individuals is unknown. The Government is basically just a police force for ESPers in that ESPers act as police to fight against other ESPers, especially individuals from E.D.E.N.

-I don't quite understand Arc's second ability. His first is fine as it's basically (To my understanding) electrokinesis in a very specific form but his second ability I don't quite grasp. Is he actually time traveling or recounting events?

-Does Mel literally trap people in bubbles? Or are they just figurative? Additionally, how does she go about trapping them in this state?

@Aroara: Unfortunately, I don't have Azure's sheet. While I would welcome you to play her again, I've wiped all of my PMs several times since that point to free up more space so I don't have it saved. Do you want to recreate her form and reserve a slot?

I had operated under the assumption that in normal cases, no, they wouldn't experiment on ESPers to prevent problems.

But Melody is a special case. Her power isn't destructive - it's informative. She can't use it to do any real damage, only discover information and facilitate it through herself. As such, she could interrogate people who would otherwise need to be tortured or made to talk.

But I suppose this is supposed to be a world where that sort of thing doesn't exist at all. Blank slate. Just going off the assumption it doesn't happen, which is fine.

EDIT: I fixed it.

But two things-

FOR NOW, until something happens or you say their powers can develop further,

A. Reflection is a skill that basically uses Arc's own kinesis powers to delve within his mind, retracing his steps down to the last detail, including even dust and debris. This means that he can jump further and further back into his own memories, as long as he saw it. This has assisted him in discovering data he had forgotten, and making better judgments for the future. However, while in this state, he is basically comatose, but the jumps can happen within seconds, depending on how far back he goes.

To him, he is actually in that time, and going back is easy. But the further back he goes, the longer it takes to return, and the harder it becomes. He also refers to it as Dreaming. Mel is the only other person he's discovered with memory-related abilities.

B. Her bubbles are MEANT to constrict, to be voids and vacuums. If she tried, she could choke a person to death, or render them mad by forcing them to watch their lives again and again. Arc has discovered she actually pauses time when she uses the bubbles, her mind becoming broken from her body as she uses either her memories or those of her victim to create a reality based upon them.

She doesn't just show them visions - she TAKES them there, and she can go there as well. To find information, to ask them questions. To them, it as though they are dreaming, or having a realistic nightmare, and the realism is as real as they believe it to be.

As such, if she were to kill them in that world, if they didn't know it to be false, their minds could make them lose themselves, and cause them to be brain dead. But she refuses to do it. She doesn't want to kill people like other ESPers do. She hates the very idea. She uses her realities to change people, make them see what they've done wrong, or perhaps help them find the right path.

As such, she can enter Arc's reflections and witness them alongside him, helping him through his own mind.

To use the bubbles, she must be able to see the person, within distance of them, and she has to concentrate. If none of the above are met, she can't make a link, and thus her powers are rendered useless. It makes Arc wonder if she has hidden abilities, since that one seems so weak.

@Spyro: I need a little bit more from the appearance as either a picture or more sentences.

@Thael: It's not that it doesn't happen but instead that they don't really need unwilling subjects. The government isn't going to drag someone into the fight when they don't want to, they'd be more likely to run away to E.D.E.N and give the criminals something to bite into for ESPer rights. Moreover, there are other abilities like Clairvoyance that can easily get knowledge from people. So in no situation should the government kidnap people and force them into service. The only ones that are known to be locked up by the government against their will are from E.D.E.N. Outside of that, the government tries to treat ESPers very well.

Is Mel's ability meant to be like some kind of hypnosis? I'm confused as to what happens to her and those that get trapped in her power in real time. Do they both just collapse? Both of those abilities are fine but I'm just curious about what happens.

It's more like time actually stops, seemingly, for everyone around them. To them, their actions happened immediately. To others, time was frozen.

But if you'd rather, yes, they both fall asleep, which kinda makes more sense. But she has to be looking at them, and she has to be within a certain range, roughly 10 feet or so. Not like from across a parking lot.

The sleep idea is more balanced and I like it better, especially since it does seem like a type of hypnotism that is also induced in the self.

Also, E.D.E.N. wouldn't force ESPers to join them either. You can make up a secondary organization to imprison Mel but neither of the main ones would deliberately harm or punish ESPers in some way. Not unless it was clear they were playing for the other side and even then to a small degree. After all, E.D.E.N. is fighting for their rights and the government is fighting for their peace.

Aside from that, however, your sheets look great. Fix that and you'll be accepted.

Looks good! You're accepted!

Also, this is probably going to end up being an OOC so don't worry about deleting posts in here.

I'm ready for Nano to drop kick some people and Lars to irritate the hell out of everyone. But, we aren't going to start without everyone else so we've got to wait for the rest of the character sheets to roll in.

I'm honestly pleased to take part in this because I'm trying to leave my comfort zone a bit. I don't normally do mad scientists, I do heroes and naive people. Arc knows exactly what the world is capable of, and he despises every bit of it. If it doesn't follow his creed, it's unnecessary, and if it bothers his research, it's an irritation.

And Mel isn't like most of my female characters. She has a fear of people in general due to her captivity. She doesn't trust EDEN or the Government. Yet, despite all that, she still refuses to use her power to hurt people, and she hates having it because it means she has to connect with people, seeing their pain and their suffering.

So I'm excited. :3

Okay, so we're just waiting on Aroara and Shadow for characters. If the sheets aren't up by Sunday, I'm going to make the main thread and start. I'm itching to start this up.

Also, for future reference, where are the majority of EDEN compounds/bases situated, and where are the Government's strongest fortifications? And how much of this would our characters know?

So EDEN is a world-wide criminal organization wanted in many countries. Their work is largely divided into factions based upon what is being done with only one main base.

-Those earning money are divided into separate teams from 1-4. They take on a variety of 'dirty' jobs like committing assassinations, selling things on the black market, robbing banks, etc. These jobs are usually left to those already deeply rooted in the organization so they rarely send newbies out on these kind of missions. Several individuals under Lars are primarily responsible for overseeing these actions so unless he directly intervenes, he doesn't have much say in what is done. These individuals will largely travel in cars or trucks and report back to the main group only periodically so they don't have a base.

-Those recruiting ESPers are lead directly by Lars and operate very closely under his grip. They're known to make public displays periodically and attempt to track down young ESPers or civilians. Because they operate under his thumb, there isn't a single thing that goes on within this group that Lars hasn't approved of. This group is the least violent, with the exception of Lars himself. Aside from being within E.D.E.N. most of these ESPers has not committed a criminal offense. These individuals usually reside within E.D.E.N.'s main base; a large, underground fortress hidden in the Catskill mountains.

-Those researching ESPers and ESP are located around the country in several smaller bases E.D.E.N possesses. The most notable base they have acquired is actually a yacht called The Garden. Lars is also very hands off about this group since it wasn't actually formed with his intentions in mind and he mostly turns a blind eye to it. However, he has been known to suddenly hijack The Garden and use it if E.D.E.N decides to travel somewhere else in the world to talk with other governments and such.

-Newbies, inactive members and children are scattered across the bases E.D.E.N has but usually reside either on The Garden or in their main base.

The Government is aware of The Garden and the idea of their main base, but does not know currently where their main base is actually located. They know where the Garden is currently but are unable to attack it without risking retaliation from the rest of E.D.E.N. and cannot afford to do that until they know where the main base is located.

The Government's strongest fortifications are centered in Philadelphia. They have several compounds located there, along with two smaller ones in Salt Lake City and Portland. ESPers either live inside these bases, or with a guardian, usually a normal person who is in charge of the paperwork and what that ESPer will be doing. Older ESPers do not have these guardians (18+) unless they want one and instead manage paperwork for themselves. ESPers must live close to the bases since they work there and are often needed on short notice, but the Government supplies these places.

E.D.E.N is very much aware of these bases but fighting the Government there would cause too many ESPer deaths and Lars refuses to do this, even if it mean could speeding up their plans.

Normal, unaligned characters would know nothing of these places, except for The Garden since Lars tends to use it when trying to recruit ESPers to E.D.E.N.

Considering Arc though, would he know anything about EDEN and these bases? Probably only the Garden, since that's where he researched.

Since he was a researcher and not someone higher up on the food chain, his access to other bases would be restricted. He'd know about The Garden and possibly a few other small bases, but it wouldn't be vital to his work to know about everything else.

True, and to be absolutely honest, he probably couldn't have cared less where other places were stationed, so long as his own work wasn't disturbed.

Okay, here's my character. Sorry about the wait!

Other:

Aroara, Mind control and telepathy count as separate abilities. You can have one or the other but not have both of those and hypnotism.

Also, Anti-ESP devices block ESP in general. If her Telepathy was strong enough to overcome it slightly she'd be able to give out messages still but since she has two abilities, it is weaker as a result. I can't allow that as long as she has two powers.

@Shadow: Accepted!

Anyway, I'll start writing up the main post so we've got that out of the way for when Aroara makes the edits to her sheets.
