(Please only use if you've read through at least the Rules, trust me, I'll know if you haven't)

 

This is a place for artists to come together and WORSHIP THE ALMIGHTY POOTIES draw Pooties together. It all started when I created a little kneaded eraser snake and named it Pooty. Soon, I got the idea that all artists could create their own Pooty to represent them, and we would all draw about them in one giant collaborative art thread. Hence, this place was born!

 

What is a Pooty you ask?

 

A Pooty can be anything really. It can be a real creature, an object, or any random thing you think of inside that shiny head of yours. A Pooty is a visual representation of someone's love to make art, and it's usually something simple and easy to doodle. Whatever the Pooty is made out of or first drawn on is a very important part of the Pooty.

 

For example, if your Pooty was first drawn on paper, then your Pooty will be made out of paper. And so when drawing your Pooty, you should remember to embue it with the qualities of paper. If your Pooty is made out of clay, your Pooty will be squishy and malleable. Virtually made Pooties are easier, simply draw them as they are. Of course, you don't HAVE to follow these rules.

You can still have a non-paper Pooty even if it's drawn of paper.

 

Pooty Rules:

 

1. By submitting your Pooty to this thread, you automatically give others permission to make fan art of your character.

You can opt out by specifying "No fan art" in the "Anything else important?" section of the form. So please no: "You stole my art!!!" rants.

 

2. Your Pooty has to be something that YOU created, a visual representation of YOU. It doesn't have to have your personality,

but it's got to have some sort of connection with you, and not just be something "cool" and "awesome" you found on the internet.

 

3. No Stealing. Submit your art and your art only. Only submit somebody else's art if they have given you full jurisdiction over it.

I will send man-eating unicorns after you if I find out you break this rule.

 

4. To prove you read the rules, please put "Poot Poot!" in the "Anything else important?" section of the forms.

You won't be added to the member list if you don't, and your art requests won't be added either.

 

5. You may have only one Pooty at a time. ONE. If you want to change your Pooty, please PM me. If you haven't submitted it to this thread yet,

you are free to change it as often as you like, but once it's submitted, you can only change it ONCE.

 

5 1/2. For special situations where your Pooty may consist of multiple characters, please PM me and request for permission before submitting your Pooty to the thread.

Otherwise your submission will be ignored. Please judge for yourself if your request is reasonable. (For example, 12 different characters in a Pooty is an automatic no.)

 

6. When making fan art of other people's Pooties, please take the time to read their biographies and look carefully at their pictures.

Also, whenever posting art here, always mention the names of the Pooties that you used and their original creators. Give credit where credit is due.

 

7. Remember that artists are under no obligation to make art for you . So no harassing or trying to force art from somebody else.

You are free to request as many art pieces as you like, but ONE AT A TIME.

What do we do on this thread?

 

We draw!! We make Pooties!! We have fun!! You don't have to have a Pooty to make Pooty art. As long as their creators allow it, you can make art of any Pooty you want!

 

If you don't want to make art yourself, feel free to request art. You may request a doodle of any Pooty you like, but pay attention to the permissions.

If an artist doesn't allow fan art of their Pooty, don't request art of that Pooty.

 

If you want to added to the member list though, you'll have to have a Pooty. Join the Pooty Force by filling in the Application form!

Name of Pooty: Pooty the Snake

Short Biography:

The first Pooty that ever came into existence. Hopelessly optimistic and always happy, Pooty the Snake (Or just Pooty since that's actually his name) loves exploring and is always getting himself into trouble. He never realises it when he's in danger, and always miraculously makes it out just fine. He's made out of kneadable eraser, so sometimes he gets whisked off by his owner to erase things. He's also very squishy and therefore cannot be harmed by anything other than fire, which will make him melt. Considers dirtytabs' Xenowyrm Pooty his best friend. It's probably not mutual though.

Anything else important: Is only drawn in shades of grey. Costumes do not count.

Name of Pooty:Netaku

Short Biography:

Loves to be playful, annoys the heck outta everyone he meets, hates pretty princess snobs. Will get lost in the fabric of art every once in a while then re-appear in a new art style, weather it be pen, computer, or pencil he will always end up fine, But he was first draw using ink pen, if you want to know, then appeared in pencil form, and then he became clay, then he went into computer form where he is now.

Name of Pooty: Mushu des Chaton (Just Mushu for short)

Short Biography:

Often very quiet and even monotonous, sarcastic and sometimes quite distant. Usually happy and content, but doesn't express happiness so vividly. Constantly tries to get better at social skills, accidentally makes others uncomfortable and likes hugs pretty much. Loves to discuss things she knows about with people. Likes sleepovers. A lot.

Anything else important:Mushu is a tiny female cat.

Username: Stellaluna22

Name of Pooty: Revaeyah (or Rae for short)

Short Biography:

She used to be talkative and playful, but after a battle she is now permanently scarred and wears the skull of a dragon to conceal her scars on her face. She steals the souls of the evil and they follow her around, whispering to her. Her eye colour matches the souls of the evil ones, but Rae herself is not evil. The evil souls following her resemble floating fireballs. Rae sneaks around in the shadows and will sometimes appear out of the shadows if you aren't looking closely.

Anything else important: Rae likes poking squishy things with her paw.

Username: Aroara Angelwolf (Aroara please)

Name of Pooty:Jacku (white one) and Yai(black)

Picture of Pooty:

Short Biography:

Jacku: is male, possesive, aggressive. He has black horns and black eyes. Made out of paper, this legless Dragon is the most dominant of the two and is always dragging his sister into trouble. He's loud and annoying, with bad ADHD and has a really short temper. If his other half wasn't attached to him, he'd have no voice of reason. He's more animalistic then intuitive. He counts on intimidation to get his way.

Yai: female, calm, collective. She's the intellectual. She has clever ways to read without hands, training her white horns to bend in front of her white eyes so she can hook a book in them. She is friendly, and kind, soft spoken and sweet. She loves art of all forms, and is particularly fond of poetry. She focuses on diplomatic reasoning, and is often getting her brother out of trouble. She's passive, hates violent action and in tune with nature.

Anything else important: They are attached at tail tip, so if one appears in a picture, the other must lurk in background!

 

Pooty No. 6

Username: Dorchadas

Name of Pooty:Fae

Short Biography:

Fae is a silent Pooty, although it's unsure whether it's because he can't talk or doesn't choose to. He has a telepathic link with his creator, Dorchadas, allowing him to advise and guide without speaking (though he usually waits until Dorchadas is at his wit's end and about to completely give up to do so). This link only allows the two of them to speak, and Fae is sometimes looked down in for being mute around others. He is usually very peaceful and gentle. He has a gray stone mask on his face, otherwise he is pure white.

Anything else important: He likes candy, especially caramel.

Username: Dirtytabs

Name of Pooty: Xeno-pooty

Short Biography:

The only Pooty so far that is the result of a bad joke, this one is a cross between a chrono xenowyrm and a chestburster. Small, elusive, lethal. Has no taste for erasers.

Anything else important: Nothing.

 

Pooty No. 8

Username: rampaging wyvern

Name of Pooty: Castell, named after his native medium (also product placement!)

Picture of Pooty:

Short Biography:

One word: salty. Castell tends to be in a bad mood much of the time - specifically, he searches for opportunities to be salty, even in activities he really finds fun. A literal bone-head, it's rare to see him smiling or being otherwise in a better mood. He dons a scarf that hides the point his skull meets his body and nobody knows what colour it is because he's drawn entirely in graphite. He spends his time sitting on his owner's desk, glaring as she draws because she just left him as a sketch instead of prettying him up.

Anything else important: Poot poot! Also, Castell is a flying fox, not just any ol' bat. And he likes fruit. Regardless of what medium he appears in, he should always be at that halfway point where he's just about ready to be cleaned up. In other words, a sketch.

Username: Narvix

Name of Pooty: Barry

Picture of Pooty:

Short Biography: Barry is a nonbinary little thing with a love for shiny objects and pranks. They enjoy company and making conversation with lots of joking.

Username: TehUltimateMage

Name of Pooty: Alton or just "screaming birb" (i'm bad with names)

Picture of Pooty:

He's black ink on vellum-based paper (fancy!)

Short Biography: Alton is very small, has no indoor voice and is either very angry or very panicked because of some work deadline or other that Mage has missed. A little backstory: I tried drawing my pooty in class. Drew the face of a screaming bird, then my friend hijacked my notebook and this happened and I love it. XP

Anything else important: aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Username: Shiny Hazard Sign

Name of Pooty: Scribbles the Magical Unicorn Rat

Short Biography:

Though he is the size of most rats, Scribbles has a big heart. He loves giving kisses and cuddles to everyone, and is always determined to make the best out of a bad situation. He especially loves dressing up like comic book superheros and singing jingles from commercials. His favorite places to sleep include sweater pockets and hoods, household potted plants, and stacks of books (the older books the better, because the smell of aged paper puts him to sleep!). Scribbles is particularly skilled at perching on shoulders and squeaking words of encouragement to his friends (and shaking little pompoms as their own personal cheerleader).

Anything else important: Poot poot! As a magical unicorn, Scribbles can change the color of his mane/tail hair at will.

Username: Lady_Lunevis

Name of Pooty: boukushu-tan

Sometimes Boukushu-tan will change facial expressions:

Short Biography:

Boukushu-tan is not an alien. definitely not. Boukushu-tan is a functioning member of society, who contributes by giving excellent philosophical speeches.

Anything else important:

- Boukushu-tan does not actually speak english, so no one can understand what Boukushu-tan is saying.

- You are physically incapable of pronouncing Boukushu-tan's pronouns, just use Boukushu-tan's name. (it/its works too)

- to communicate, Boukushu-tan will wave Boukushu-tan's eyebrows around wildly and vibrate.

- Lu herself is not sure if she's 100% serious with Boukushu-tan tbh

 

Pooty No. 13

Username: Vrack

Name of Pooty: Carrot

Short Biography:

A sentient carrot that has no means of communication or locomotion. How its owner knows it is sentient has been unknown up until now. Carrot was the first thing its owner ever drew and then sprited. The only explanation for its perfection can be that it is sentient (perhaps omniscient).

Fun Fact: Carrot does not age, nor does it rot; carrot just exists. Those malicious enough to try and harm it are buried up to their hair (like a carrot) in the ground beneath them.

Anything else important:

Though many have tried, all have failed to eat Carrot. So don't you dare try! Ahhhhhhhhhhh! Poot poot.

Username: XiaoChibi

Name of Pooty: Bo

Short Biography:

Bo is a ghost. They’re not too sure how they’ve got here. Bo is a prankster and their passion for puns tends to overwhelm others.

Anything else important:

-Bo likes puns.

-They have no preference regarding pronouns, and any pronoun is fine with Bo.

-Bo’s hands and horns are black.

-Bo uses the thumbs up sign to communicate their feelings. Bo isn't too sure how to convey their feelings in words.

-They don’t know why, but they just can’t stop poot poot(ing!) crying.

Name of Pooty: Rex Corvus (Rexy for short)

Short Biography:

Rexy is silent, sneaky, and, if you don't know him well, may seem very creepy. He appears to pop up out of nowhere, but that's just his way of saying hello. He sometimes seems more magpie than raven, as he tends to hoard various glittery objects, even if they don't belong to him. His favorite, however, is his sparkling crown, which has unknown magical properties. The only one he's discovered is its ability to float on top of his head.

Anything else important:

He's a raven, poot poot. Rex = King and Corvus = Raven, so he's a raven king.

Username: MyaMouse

Name of Pooty Mousie White

Short Biography:

Mousie is what I'm not allowed to be, either because of the constraints of society or 'cause of punishments. She's quirky and weird and violent and overall kind of psycho, but she can not always does keep herself under control. She's the real artist in my head- she loves to write and draw. While she herself is made of fuzzies, the main medium she uses is pen and paper.

Is it bad that the artist in my head is better than me?

Username: Dragnilu

Name of Pooty: Ria (Ria Rui)

Short Biography: She is very calm and most of the time a happy little thing. When you say she is a bird, Ria gets reeaally mad, but she wishes to be able to fly like a bird. Ria is shy at first when meating new people and may not talk. If you spend more time with her you will find that she ]really like to talk and meet new people.

Anything else important:Poot Poot! Scared of snakes and loves sweets. Sometimes color changes depending on the light.

Shiny new thread! I've been lurking, but it's time to post my Pooty!

Name of Pooty: Rex Corvus (Rexy for short)

Picture of Pooty:

Short Biography: Rexy often appears unexpectedly. He is very quiet and obsessed with shiny objects. The crown on his head floats because it has a spell on it to keep the owner from losing it (it will stay on his head even if it's upside down). He doesn't know what the ring does, but it has some unknown magical properties.

Anything else important: He's a raven, poot poot. Rex = King and Corvus = Raven, so he's a raven king.

I was going to wait until I had some art to show, but seems like this is turning into a discussion thread. I'm working on my finals right now, maybe I can sneak a pooty into my renderings? ;p
