Posted October 25, 2015 (edited) Forgive me if this a duplicate of the news thread or any other thread! This thread was created because the combos in the news thread get lost in the pages from a large amount of posts. WARNING: THIS THREAD MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS! Credits for banner to Dragon Cave/sprite artists. As you may know, Potion Brewing is Dragon Cave's Halloween event for 2015. You can go to the biomes and collect ingredients that appear randomly every few minutes, and combine certain ones and use them on your dragons for hilarious effects. Due to the sheer amount of potions and ingredients, a Google Document has been created and 4 editors will work on it. Click! Thanks to these awesome editors who volunteered their time to help! - AGYK - Prince_Xanthius - Lady Artemis - Shokomon Edited October 25, 2015 by Stellaluna22 Share this post Link to post

Posted October 25, 2015 (edited) Recipe: Gem Lily + Lace Lichen = White Potion w/ red bow - Makes Pyralsprites White Edit: Might I suggest that people use transparent not white? I'm on the blue themed skin, and I can very much read the spoilers because the background is a pale blue not a white colour. It doesn't bother me but it might bother others Edited October 25, 2015 by Prince_Xanthius Share this post Link to post

Posted October 25, 2015 Would it also be a good idea to note which combinations did not work? Share this post Link to post
Posted October 25, 2015 (edited) Orange Potion Pumpkin + red fireflies Turns Shadow Walkers into jack-o-lanterns haha ETA: I'm on the blue theme too, and it's not that readable tbh. Using transparent makes it impossible to highlight and read though, so you have to copy paste which is irritating :\ Edited October 25, 2015 by simimaelian Share this post Link to post
Posted October 25, 2015 Would it also be a good idea to note which combinations did not work? If its not on the list, it might not be useable? Share this post Link to post
Posted October 25, 2015 If its not on the list, it might not be useable? Just thought as trying out combinations consumes the ingredients. No need for all of us to try and fail the same combinations. Share this post Link to post
Posted October 25, 2015 Just thought as trying out combinations consumes the ingredients. No need for all of us to try and fail the same combinations. For what it's worth, the ingredients themselves do a pretty decent job telling us what they're meant to pair with. Maybe in the op we could list ingredients and what they pair with? Posted October 25, 2015 For what it's worth, the ingredients themselves do a pretty decent job telling us what they're meant to pair with. Maybe in the op we could list ingredients and what they pair with? That would work too, but we have a LOT of ingredients... Share this post Link to post
Posted October 25, 2015 (edited) charball mushroom + dragon's breath = gray potion (ID 346). Usable on White dragons, makes them sooty. We should list potion IDs rather than just colors. That'll help keep them unique. Edited October 25, 2015 by AGYK Share this post Link to post

Posted October 25, 2015 The ingredient's actually called "Sulfurated Straw Flowers" not "Sulfurating Straw Flowers" Whoops! My bad, fixed it! Must've been a typo while I was looking at the combos If everyone could list their new combos like this or have a new ingredient please, its a lot easier for me!: For combos: - (Name) + (Name) = Describe what happens For new ingredients: - (Name) Share this post Link to post
