Am I seeing things? huh.gif

Haha I love that picture, it's so adorable! They do have similar poses!

On a side note, finally was able to catch 2 from all biomes, just in case for breeding them - thanks to those who helped me! (You know who you are wink.gif ) Some of mine have hatched.

I love these dragons so far! Can't wait to see how they are as adults! Loving all the colors, especially the Silver and Blue biggrin.gif

Well, I haven't managed to catch any more of these yet. I wanted one more from the alpine so I'd have two pair from each of the biomes that breed different copper colors. (desert and volcano both breed brown so I concentrated on desert where they were easier) I did however, manage to snag an ice. And a z-code frostbite that I didn't know I'd clicked on. blink.gif

Edit: Just to be clear... I'm not upset about not seeing more of these. I expected it due to slow ping. I'll get another eventually.

I'm just blink.gif over the ice and the unexpected frostbite. I guess we can tell winter is coming?

ASTROLOGY?

#notscience

Um, in all you guys' debates, maybe you should also factor in the fact that the lore is being built by a computer guy and a bunch of artists? Just sayin'

However, the debate has been entertaining to this point. I'll bet anything that hatchling isn't the only one chuckling.

Yes but... if you think about that... astronomy and astrology ha the same origin, nowadays one is #science, the other is #notscience. But I happen to think that the Babylonians had figured out something that modern times censorkip.gif***ized.

Hooray! My little gold babies hatched!

Here's hoping that we figure out sooner rather than later how the other colors come into play (I'm still hoping they'll be a weekly thing like the phases of the actual moon)

Of the four - I can't wait to see how the Silver and Blue ones look grown up.

Just 9 more hours. They'll be grown up by the time I get off work. Looking forward to these!

Judging solely by LadyLyzar's other work, I expect these adults will be:

- solid colored body without much texture or variation

- some bright highlight or shine across rounded areas

- smooth, rounded limbs with a 'plasticky' texture

- Color gradation

- Unlikely to have hair

- A slim, slinky body

These might look amazing with sunrise dragons, from what I've seen so far!

Actually there's many different factors involved beyond that. The size of Valkemare and the size of the moons, the distance away from the planet the moons are, and their orbital speed. They could be far away and large and moving fast, or they could be tiny and closer and moving slowly. Or, any mix of those.

Those things actually turn out to be related, such that you only really have to think about the masses (assuming the orbits are essentially circular, which I'm willing to say they are close enough because Valkemare is way bigger than the moons so the center of mass is very close to the planet's center).

Day 48357835773, still no signs of other colored eggs. xd.png

Captain's Log. The members have started eating one another while they wait for the different eggs. I fear that soon I shall be the only sane one left. Oh, and I saw a unicorn tap dancing on a pinhead. Yes, the only sane one left.

Lol, personally, I'm still hoping they'll be Released weekly 3 AM-ish on Saturdays and in Floods, so that we have a chance to build up pairings of each type, especially since a number of people started late. (I haz a fantasy... laugh.gif )

I'll bet these will be stunning adults and vastly useful in numerous lines and lineages.

It's been three days, and these eggs are most likely colored based on the current lunar phase. Patience, little one.

Thank you for reassuring us, Lady Artemis. Hope your moon duties are going well.
