Posted May 21, 2016 Oh, obviously the sprites have been updated. The wings look more detailed now (fold-y instead of scaly), and the gilded "beard" is much more pronounced. I wonder what else but them (and frills and old pinks / arias) got an update... Share this post Link to post
Posted May 21, 2016 (edited) This is an update? They look cell shaded. The wings don't even look finished, look at the females closest wing so much is just a solid colour with no shading. Posted May 21, 2016 Oh no, that's sad. They've lost their dusted look. There are some nice bits about the new sprite, such as that you can make out more detail on the wing shape, mind... but I have to admit I'm not excited about this change. Posted May 21, 2016 @andromedae: The release is permanent, so you can take your time catching everything. However, some breeds seem to be pretty rare at the moment. @yunako: No idea - but probably not, considering they're their own breed now and never had the BSA to begin with. However, someone who actually owns one of the old pinks - which have also been renamed to "Aria dragons" - should be able to find out. Share this post Link to post

Note @ mods: Those dragons are not mine, but they're posted in the Encyclopedia so I assume the owners are okay with people checking them out. If you want to suggest further edits to a sprite, you can politely PM the artist. ~ Discussion on the sprite update can be continued in the news thread. If it's something that other users are likely to notice/directly affects your cave/forum experience, I prefer a help thread so we can easily share updates with other users who are worried about it.
