Best you can do is leave the note in your signature and maybe you'll be able to get an offspring from him. Maybe rename the parents to something like "PM rhuen on forums" though personally I'm not sure how much attention the new owner might pay to the parent names now that he's grown up. The dragon in the sig matured in 2009. I am GUESSING what is wanted is just A black dragon ? So the thing to put in your sig would be "Looking for a black dragon". If you actually need to find nulk - maybe the best thread would be the missed departures thread ? "Does anyone know who owns nulk" kind of thing ? Posted February 27, 2016 Not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but I'm also not sure where TO ask. It's about refusals, more specifically from Holiday dragons. Earlier in the year I was lucky enough to be gifted a mate for a Valentine's checker of mine. However, upon test breeding when it grew up, the pair refused each other. When this happened, I was under the impression that they would never breed again whatsoever, and thus I would need to get a new mate. Then when Valentine's rolled around, I found that the pair COULD breed again, resulting in the Valentine's offspring. I remember reading somewhere that Holiday's don't refuse in their respective breeding periods, so I was quite surprised when they bred, and came under the impression that the could breed during the Holiday, but not any other time. I'm now currently looking at the female non-holiday of the pair, and it's showing the mate she previously refused but accepted at Valentine's as being able to breed with her again. Is this some kind of glitch or am I missing something? Well, when those holiday refusals were first taken down, I had one pair that bred in season and didn't refuse again afterwards, so there at least used to be a chance to get a different result. Posted February 27, 2016 I am not sure where to ask. but i had noticed some "Ghost clicks" lets say, i clicked on the egg of my friend's scroll, wich had 2 clicks. The click takes me to the egg page, it shows 3 clicks, so i click my friends name to return to his scroll, but the egg shows only 2 clicks!? it has happened in all scrolls i had visited, what is happening? does my clicks no longer count? if so for what reason? :c back in 2009 i could click each egg once every day and anybody else's eggs and hatchlings every day and it would count but now it has changed? i'd appreciate a PM as i often lose forum threads ^^'♥ -- Also, are we allowed to make a thread or is there a thread to ask for specific dragons to trade/ adopt ? From my understanding, clicks, views and unique views have always been by IP. That said, there are various ISPs (including my own) that change one's IP approximately once every 24 hours, which is something of a hold-over from a time when ISPs were trying to solve the 'halp, we're running out of IP addresses' problem by only assigning IPs to active users, thereby having a reason to shuffle them around to, well, whoever was active. That still helps to some degree (most people are not online 24 hours), though given internet usage is so much higher these days not to the degree it used to. So, the obvious question would be whether you switched ISPs since then. Regarding the phantom clicks, it's also always been that way, sadly. The view page just tends to assume that if you're viewing it, you're also giving it a click, but when it goes to actually add the click, it turns out that there already is one from a given IP, and the counter doesn't really go up. It showed you that it went up as a heuristic, basically, as far as I understand it. Share this post Link to post

Posted February 27, 2016 (edited) In the color sort for my scroll, the heart stealing dragon shows up in the middle of my blue dragons. (In between my water and blue two-headed). I was wondering if this is normal? It seems very much out of place that this dragon isn't with its other pink/red companions. It's totally random, unless your scroll is bugged. This guy has two purple offspring and just produced a green offspring, even though he's purple, with a green mate. A: To get your request approved, we need to see that you’ve thought out the dragon. When we mod requests, here is what we're looking for: - An in depth physical description or sketch or sprite --- Your physical description must include more than just the color of the dragon. Also think about size, shape, build, wing type and number of wings, head shape, special features (spikes, frills, fur, armor), end of the tail, etc. No sketcher or spriter likes to be bound by extremely strict restrictions, but some idea of what you’re looking for always helps inspiration. --- Another dragons description is not a physical description. Saying your dragon has "wings like the embers" and "feet like reds" is not a description. It is a comparison and a copy. Rather, take a look at those wings that remind you of your idea and figure out why, then lay it out with words or do a quick sketch or doodle yourself. --- Pictures as references are good and can be helpful, whether you've drawn these yourself, or grabbed it off the internet (with credits to the original artist or site). However, they are also not a stand in for a description. They can help get your point across, but you must also either sketch it yourself or describe it in your own words. --- Just because you add a sketch or sprite into the first post doesn’t mean it has to be the one you stick with. Nothing is ever perfect and certainly not the first time around. - Breed description; other information on the dragon --- Flesh out your concept. Have some idea of why and how your dragon is an amazing flyer without any wings whatsoever (why does the dragon need to fly if it doesn’t have any wings? Why doesn’t it just have wings instead? How is it flying without wings?). Saying that the dragon “just uses magic for all that stuff” is a cheap cop-out and won’t fly. If you are having trouble coming up with any (reasonable) explanation, feel free to PM me. If I can’t seem to help, there are a lot of people I can go discuss it with and help you come up with something. Don’t PM me if you’re just too lazy to do any research or work on your own suggestion – only if you’ve really thought about it and can’t come up with anything good or reasonable (I’ll want to see what you’ve managed to come up with so far). - To fit into DC --- There is a basic Medieval setting to DC (so you can imagine a timeframe), so a cyborg dragon just isn’t going to fly. Even if you give me ten pages of information on your dragon, it doesn’t fit in with DC and will not be chosen. - References --- If you have some color or texture in mind it helps to link an example. More importantly, if you're basing your dragon off an animal or a legend or whatnot, make sure you include a reference link or picture, because not everyone will know what you are talking about or be able to picture it right away. When people come into your request topic, it's always nice if they don't have to ask fifty questions to finally understand the concept or have an idea for a sketch. - Readability --- Your request needs to be understandable and readable, with some semblance of grammar and spelling. If it isn't, how can we help you get work done on it? If your request is too hard to understand or it's too confusing, you can always pop into the description proofreading thread and ask if somebody there will help you whip it into shape. Posted February 28, 2016 The scroll help page needs an edit. I was just looking at "freeze" there and it says. Freeze Can be performed on: Unfrozen hatchlings. Usage Limitations: Can be performed 10 times per 2 weeks. But on MY hatchie pages (as I have gold and froze one the other day) it says: Freeze Permanently prevent the hatchling from maturing into an adult. (You can use this action 15 more times before you must wait for a few weeks) It will be a tricky edit - but it needs doing... Share this post Link to post
