About Rules Know-how on Voting Current Entries Past winners About Inspired by Description Day, this is a newly run contest to acknowledge all the brilliantly written descriptions out there! What's there to gain from it? Well, your fellow users will be able to see your incredible writing skills and bragging rights There are three basic categories: Most Original, Funniest, and Best Overall. I love the idea for additional categories and would love to have one extra such description every other month - What do you guys think? Do you have any ideas for categories? Please let me know in the thread. Do you think YOUR description is awesome? Think it deserves recognition? Go ahead and nominate it! Rules * You may enter one dragon description per category (This rule applies to only nominating your own dragons) * You may enter another user's description if you think it's good enough and deserves recognition * Please make sure your scroll name is visible on dragon pages if you wish to submit your own dragons! (that way we can make sure users don't enter dozens of their own dragons :3 You can re-hide your scroll after approval) *Nominations will be available for entry from the 1st to the 23rd of each month *Voting will be held on the last week of each month (make sure to participate!) *Please use this format when entering your dragons: Username: Category: Dragon Name: Description Link: -LINEAGE link here- Edit: No one is allowed to vote for their own descriptions, once voting comes along, for obvious reasons Know-how On Voting Beginning from the 23rd of each months until the end, voting will be held for the best description in each category! But then, blind hen, grain of corn, et cetera... *eyes space chickens warily just in case the idiom is a misstep...* ) Thanks, everyone.
