Well, all I can think of right now is that we assume we have to leave things as they were last time and resume the training after the tournament. Unless you don't want to continue with that.

Ok then, the tournament will start RIGHT NOW. As you can read on my -really large- post about it, the tournament will be a round of 16 bracket system, each round is an elimination match, so, if you loose one battle, you loose the tournament. As I said before, each round will have its own set of rules which I will explain before each begins, just like I did now.

 

Here are the brackets for the tournament:

 

To save time, the battles will all take place at the same time, no in the actual RP timeline of course, but instead we will have all the battles RP'd at the same time. This means, you don't have to wait for Icarus to finish his battle to move on to the next one (Larien's). As you can see, all the brackets have proper names, this is more so it doesn't look bad filled with "NPC" as names. Of course, some of them will be retuning NPCs, other won't, but for now, lets focus on the tournament.

 

I will be controlling most of the NPCs, except of course, the one I'm battling. I'll need DH's help with that one, and if you wan't to help me with another of the battles, I'd appreciate the help .

 

As for the winners, like stated before, it is for you to chose, but since we all are facing a NPC right now, I'd need you to tell me, via PM, what you want the outcome of the battles to be. Lets keep it on PMs so we don't end up spoiling the rest of the tournament for the others.

 

I guess that is all for now, if you have any doubts, feel free to ask them in THIS thread so I can give you a proper reply.

Now, about nicknick, who haven't posted in a while, you can see I sent him to the last battle, this is to give him some time to post, but if we end up 4 of the 8 battles and he haven't replied yet, I'll have him loosing the battle. So if anyone gets in contact with them, be dure to let him know that so we don't have any missunderstandings later.

I'll happily help out with the NPCs but I'll probably need to know as well who's supposed to win... at least for the NPCs you want me to control Ryu. Which doesn't mean I'll make it easy and be all "ohp, you win" right away ;P

 

I've also sent Nicknick a pm a while back... I haven't gotten a response. Just so you all know.

I assume a battle is won by knocking out all of the opponent's pokemon. Which gives a greater advantage to those who have three, I guess. Or am I wrong?

@DH - yes, I'll provide you with the NPC's data and tell you who wins in the battles you get to control via PM.

 

As for nicknick, I did sent him a PM a long while ago, when he posted about training his pokemon, got a reply but haven't heard from him since then.

 

@TUM - Yes, that's how you win. Though, the first round is a one on one battle. BUt its means you only get to choose one pokemon. This means, you will only use one out of 2-3 pokemon you own, that's so everyone gets a fair treatment.

Sorry for late reply, been busy with finals at college this week.

 

Now, since DH won't be able to post very often in the next week, I'll take care of the battles she was taking care of. And to those of you who are in the same, or rather similiar situation than DH, don't worry, I know RL is more important than ANY RP so, don't worry, focus on your stuff and when you have the chance to post, leave a short post so I know you're still alive.

 

And since everyone seems to be in the same situation, do not worry, we can have a halt in the RP until you are able to take care of stuff again.

Ok, I guess it is time we return to RPing, its been a week since my annouce and nobody pronounced so I'm guessing everybody was ok with it.

 

Now, I need everyone to post in here if you are aviable to RP this week. I don't want to see this RP dying so, I need everyone's participation. If you cna't RP yet, just let me know and we'll see what is best to do if waiting some more time or what, but, everyone leave a post here so I kno what decision to make.

Alright then. Good to know most of you arestillaround and will be able to post. So then since TUM is busy and we need to move, I'll take control of her battles so we can continue the tournament. As for the rest, if you have already finished your battles, then I guess all you can do is waiting for now.

 

You cna however, roam around the area, watch thetournament or if you wish ask for an event so you don't stay as another bystander anymore.

Name: Gwinith (Gwin)

Age: 17

Gender: Female

Appearance: Small, fine bones and pail. Gwin wears black pants, with a neon tye dye shirt in a stunning (and startling) contrast. She wears a black shoulder bag to carry her supplies, mostly dried berries she collects. Gwin is sickly and tiers easily.

Personality: Kind, she dislikes true conflict, and tries to be a mediator between the parties if possible. She will not stand up for herself, but she protects others. She would never take a Pokemon unwillingly from its home (character flaw!)

Affiliation: Pokemon trainer

History: Gwin is a native, and came from a wealthy psychic family. When she was 10, burglars killed her family, and stole partner, an Arcannine, right before she left on her Pokemon journey. (The Arrcinine was her service dog)

Because how we're doing this is that you pick either three Pokemon to add to the starter roulette or a type. Then you get a choice of three starters, not necessarily the ones you picked, and your character chooses one.
