Posted February 1, 2014 (edited) This thread was inspired by the Holly Contest thread. The big difference? Well, this one is on a more regular basis. Every 3 months, we'll pick a new caveblocker breed, and those who collect the most of that breed will get to pick prizes. Prizes Obviously offering Hollies as prizes wouldn't work very well in this thread. Our prizes will be... *Drumroll* ...... PRIZES! Generous donators can submit Tinsel and Shimmer offspring, and the top collectors will get to go down the line and pick the line they want. Because of the abundance of these breeds, we ask that only 6th gen or lower stair and spiral lineages be submitted as prizes (this means that the dragon being bred must be 5th gen or lower), and are accepting all pretty lineaged even gens. Signups To donate fill out the form below Forum name - Scroll link - Lineage link - Does this dragon have a wait list? - If yes, how long is the wait list? - Yes, donators MAY join the contest. The only people who will not be able to compete will be the moderating staff of the contest and the list checkers, once we have any. To join fill out the form below Forum name - Scroll link - PM link - Rules 1. Only Nocturnes collected during the contest count. Nocturnes you already have do not count. 2. The contest will end at 11:59 pm on 5/1/2014. All Nocturnes must be grown up or frozen before this date; the latest "grown up on" date which will be allowed is 5/1/2014 3. The contest will begin at 11:59 pm on 2/1/2014. This means that the earliest "grown up on" date which will be allowed is 2/2/2014. 4. You may sign up at any point during the contest, just remember that your Nocturnes must be listed in your first post. 5. You MUST keep your list updated in your first post. You don't have to make further posts with updates in the thread (though if you want to have your totals up to date in the first post, you should), but you DO have to update your first post. Any dragons not listed in that post at the end of the contest will NOT be counted. 6. Only frozen hatchlings and adults count, not eggs or growing hatchlings. 7. It does not matter how you obtain the Nocturnes. They may be bred by you, caught off the AP, found in the cave, or traded for. You can have family members help you in exchange for offspring. That being said, if we find evidence of multiscrolling, we will report you and then flush your favorite electronic device down a transdimensional toilet which exits somewhere in the Delta Quadrant. (Don't question it, we'll find a way!) 8. Because of the nature of Prize breeds, winners may be added to an existing wait list. If you pick a dragon with a wait list, you may not harass the donator to move you up the list. If for some unholy reason you decide to be a scruffy nerfherder and be rude to one of our wonderful donators, it will mean an immediate blacklisting, you will forfeit your prize, and you will be barred from all future contests within this thread. 9. Donators Only! We will contact you 1 week before the end of the contest to verify your prizes. We will need you to verify by the day the contest ends so that we can announce the correct number of winners. If I start collecting right now, without filling out a sign-up form until closer to the end of the period, can I sign-up and announce my total at the end of this period?
