Posted November 2, 2013 (edited) (Ahh! It's my first role play in the Dragon Cave forum. Please take it easy on me, I'm not completely down with all of the general stuff with RP's here. Thanks c:) ~The Backstory~ There had once been a single pack to rule all packs. It was known as the Alderwood Pack. Hundreds of years ago, they held an unimaginable amount of power, and the secret was very simple. All loners were allowed into the Alderwood Pack. Instead of having the original territory of the newcomer destroyed, the territory of the loner was added to that of the pack...and the boundaries of the Alderwood's kingdom grew. On one particularly scarce winter, as the Alpha Female and the Alpha Male grew weary with old age, they decided to have pups to help continue the Alphas' legacy. Of course, the Alphas' three pups that had been born before were now the Betas, but the Alphas believed that the Betas weren't exactly the best wolves to rule the pack. A few months later, only two precious pups were born--and they were the only pups to be born within that whole year. With a jet black coat, the male pup was named Eternal Soul. The female pup, a stark white, was named Abraxia. The whole pack's luck took a turn for the worse when the two pups ran away for no known reason. The Alpha Female died. Legend says that she drowned herself from depression. The Alpha Male grew stone hard, cold and unforgiving. And only a month later, the death of the Alderwood Pack's reign was imminent. A she wolf with a strange aura walked into the heart of the Alderwood Pack's territory and padded straight into the Alpha Male's den. For some reason, nobody tried to stop her. A few moments later, blood was smeared on her claws as she trotted back out. With simply a flirt and a flutter, this new she wolf was the only one in charge now. Nobody dared to mess with her. Not even the betas, who were supposed to have held the position of Alpha if called for. And though it seemed that not a muscle was moved, the pack was killed in the dead of the night. The legend never specified the name or identity of the murderer. Two years later, Eternal Soul happened to wander across the 'abandoned' territory with his pregnant mate, Rhea. He decided to restart the pack with his new family, wanting to relive the legacy his parents had created. Rhea soon gave birth to four pups. Three were healthy, and one was weak in physical strength. The weak pup, named Raizan, tried to prove himself to be an equal of his litter-mates by showing everyone how fast he was. Nobody, especially the Alphas, paid any attention to him. When the runt of the litter reached the age of a year, he was cast out of Soul's new pack. The weakling was forced to become a loner. Slowly, Soul's pack grew, filling with bold, fierce warriors. The only problem was that runts and weaklings were cast out of the pack almost as soon as possible. As Soul's pack grew, so did the number of loners that surrounded its territory. A year or so later, Abraxia found Soul's new pack, and she pleaded to be let into her brother's territory. Soul refused to give his assent, and she was also forced to be a loner. Fortunately, she found a mate. He was the runt of Rhea's litter. Abraxia and Raizan produced four pups. One was strong, and the other three seemed to be quite weak. But Abraxia and Raizan didn't give up on them. After months of scrutinizing the pups carefully, the mates finally came up with a strength that cancelled out the pups' weaknesses. They were fast. Fast as spreading wildfire, fast as lightning running through the air, and possibly even faster than the downfall of the Alderwood Pack. Unlike Soul's pack, Abraxia's pack grew very quickly. Even though she hadn't realized it, Abraxia had been following her parents' incentive by letting loners from Soul's pack into her own growing pack. Another year passed, and things finally settled enough for Abraxia to give her pack a name: The Ambrosia Pack. Soul heard of the new pack name and, in retaliation, gave his own pack a name: The Nightshade Pack. The two packs' territories came very close to each other, and when the wolves of each side found out, they weren't happy. ~Plot~ You are part of either the Nightshade Pack, the Ambrosia Pack, or you might just be a loner. The intense rivalry between the two packs is getting more and more heated every day, and there may just be a full scale war soon. But will somebody intervene? Will secret connections between the packs be made? Will peace weave its way into the conflict? ~Setting~ The setting of the two packs is a lush forest. Prey isn't a problem. Currently, the only thing that's separating the two packs is a pristine river. Past the territory of the Nightshade Pack, going away from the river, the forest fades into rocky mountains. But these mountains are in the far off distance, so no need to worry about them. Past the territory of the Ambrosia Pack, going away from the river, the forest fades into the coast. ~Important Information~ 1. That back story above happened about half a century ago. It is now a legend that is known to be true. 2. The Ambrosia Pack believes that most wolves are equal, so their ranks are different from most packs. 3. The Nightshade Pack has more strong wolves, and the Ambrosia Pack has more fast wolves. 4. The Ambrosia Pack isn't as spiteful and virulent as the Nightshade Pack about the legend (back story). 5. The current Alpha Female in the Nightshade Pack is not the one in the legend. 6. You can still ask to join even though this is still unapproved. 7. These wolves are wild, so there are no names like 'Car Chaser' or 'Long Road Ahead.' Wolves don't know what cars and roads are! The Nightshade Pack ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Username: rainbowjuice Name: Noxaura Age: 4 Gender: Female Pack: Nightshade Pack Ranking: Alpha Female Personality: Like the shadows that lie waiting within the darkness of the night, Noxaura prides herself on slipping through cracks of ignorance and oblivion. With a silver tongue that seems to speak by itself, Noxaura seems to always gets what she wants. And if she doesn't get what she's got her eyes on, Noxaura knows that mercy does no good. With the flick of a paw, her victims are gone. This points out how insensitive she is to things like death and pain. Her ledger may be dripping, but it hasn't stained her soul. Noxaura is often quite lively and bright, squeezing in a sarcastic joke whenever she has the opportunity. Usually, Noxaura hunts around the time that the sun goes down because she blends in with her surroundings. Noxaura is very self-motivated, but instead of working hard, she often relies on using her words. She can get irritated easily, but if she isn't provoked, Noxaura is generally a happy wolf. Description: Noxaura is a jet black, with thick, glossy fur. She is slim, but not in an unhealthy way. Her ears are always pricked, as Noxaura is always alert and listening to what is going on around her. Her intense gaze is a deep amethyst, and they are set upon a slender muzzle. Her teeth aren't as sharp as her claws. Noxaura's tail is quite thin, but somewhat long. History: Noxaura was born to the two Alphas of the Nightshade Pack. As soon as she learned what leadership was, Noxaura pounced on the task as if it was her prey. When she was about two years old, the Alpha Female died. Another six months passed, and the Alpha Male died. Neither of these events scarred Noxaura, though. She had turned into a cold, stone hard wolf even before her parents had died. Other: None. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Username: Silviinael Name: Mae Age: Adult Gender: Female Pack: Nightshade Ranking: Beta Female Personality: She is often found at night speaking to herself and looking at the moon in a quiet tranquility. She is fiercely loyal and will do anything to protect her pack and her family. She is quite energetic like a pup when she is around them, pretending to be like them to entertain the little ones. She is very shaded about her past, and her past has cause her to become a stone faced fighter. Description: She is pure white, with thick arctic like fur. Her body is lean almost in an unhealthy way but it's very athletic. Her eyes are pure white and the pupil is foggy in color making it seem as if she is blind, but she can see perfectly. She is smaller than the average adult female but she makes up by that by working harder than the average female. Her claws are pure white also, and very sharp; hidden against her white paws and paw pads. Her tail is very long and very fluffy, never raising higher than her rump unless shes irritated. History: Her Parents abandoned her as a cub, leaving her to die in the forest. She was raised by bears, thinking she was one until she heard the howl of a wolf in the distance, this howl and spurred a reaction within her to follow her natural instinct and find a pack. Other: She has an amulet around her neck made from a vine and a bear claw. He dislikes pups but will treat any female of any age as a queen. He likes sunny days despite his personality. Description: He's a jet black brute with yellow eyes that one might see in their nightmares. He has white paws and a white tail tip. History: To be RP'd... Other: His sister is Azet. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Username: JaylaCaine Name: Rhage Age:5 Gender:Male Pack: NightShade Ranking: Hunter Personality: Rhage is a rock. He is calm, stable and hard to anger. He is the one that no matter what is thrown at him he doesn't do anything but stand there and take it in. He does have his moments of playing around like a puppy or cracking jokes with some of the others if the mood hits him. Description: Rhage is mostly black the top half of him from his head down to the base of his tail being black. However his underbelly part of his left side and his tail are a dark silvery grey. He has bright blue eyes that usually sparkle with amusement. He does have some scars three claw marks from his right ear to his snout and the tip of his right ear is missing. History: Rhage was born to a pregnant she wolf that had been a loner but mated with a ranked male from NightShade. Once he and his siblings were born his mother seemed almost disinterested in the litter. In fact all of his siblings died because his mother had been pushing them aside so they couldn't nurse. Once he was old enough to be weaned his father took him in and removed him from his mother once it was found out she had killed the other pups from neglect. His mother was then chased out of the pack and he stayed. As he aged he was trained to take care of himself by his father and even how to hunt with the help of the Alpha Male. Other: Showing off for Noxaura he tried to take down an elk by himself. However the antlers caught him in the face scarring him. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Username: na82008 Name: Balisha Age: 6 years Gender: female Pack:Nightshade Ranking: subordinate Personality: Balisha is very hard working. She is extremely loyal to her pack and a no nonsense person. to her, anyone not working hard isn't worth attention. Description: She has sleek black fur, and a pointed mussel. she is built semi muscular, but she can take down a wolf twice her size. History: She was originally a loner. When she was young, she showed great potential in fighting, and was taken and raised buy the nightshade pack. She grew up loyal to the Nightshade pack and would give her life for her pack. Other: Her brother is Khaile, but she isn't very close to him because he is a loner. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Ambrosia Pack Ranks ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Username: shibathedragon Name: Kalika Age: 21 in wolf years Gender: Male Pack: Ambrosia pack Ranking: Alpha male Personality: Quite playful and fun, but is protective of his friends. He is also quite nervous at times. Description: Kalika is a light gray with darker gray ears. He also has darker gray leg markings that look like socks, and the top part of his tail also has this color. He has white toes, underbelly, muzzle and chest, and under his tail. He holds his furry tail up high when he feels positive, but when he's nervous, his tail is tucked tightly. History: Kalika was born, but back then, he was a loner. He learned to hunt with his dad, and his mom taught him the basics of the forest. Eventually, Kalika grew smart, and when he was an adult, he set out to find his own pack. He does not know where his parents are, however. Other: Not much. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Username: makenziec123 Name: Luna Age: Young Adult Gender: Female Pack: Ambrosia Ranking: Beta Female Personality: Luna is kind a caring- though she seem a bit shy or even scary at first. She is a very large wolf for both her age and her pack and is therefore much stronger and slower than the others in her pack, though quite a bit faster than the Nightshade pack wolves. Description: She has a beautiful shimmering silver-grey pelt and one paw that is slightly splayed- meaning her toes are a bit farther apart than normal, which is another thing that slows her running, but makes her a better swimmer and digger. History: Luna was not born into the Ambrosia pack originally. Her entire litter was a mix of the two packs- her father was a Nightshade, and her mother was an Ambrosia, though she thinks she is pure Ambrosia because she doesn't remember her father. Her mother and Father had already come to the agreement that the pups father would take them into his pack, but as soon as he saw Luna, he rejected her and sent her back with her mother. Heartbroken, Luna's mother swore she would never speak to her mate again, and brought the beautiful- but small- pup back to the Ambrosia pack. Other: uh... Go Ambrosia Pack! Name: Zimzeelo "Zim" Age: Young Adult Gender: Male Pack: Ambrosia Ranking: Warrior Personality: Zim is a bit of a prankster- always joking around and generally being carefree. In fact, if he were not one of the best fighters either of the wolf packs had ever seen and he were in the Nightshade pack, he'd have been kicked out looooooong ago. However, the fact remains that he is an excellent warrior, but he will try to avoid killing whenever possible. He is fiercely loyal to the Ambrosia pack, but when it comes down to it, he'll protect his brother first. Description: Zim has a very sleek red coat- helping him blend in better in the woods, as he looks like the forest floor and tree bark, but out in the open or in the snow, he is much more easily spotted. History: Zim and Woloko actually know and are good friends with the Beta Female, Luna, because they both nearly drowned in the river when they were just pups. Had Luna not seen the two brothers being sucked away by the current and immediately grabbed a log that she dragged into the river for the two brothers to grab on to, the Ambrosia pack would be short two very talented, dedicated warrior wolves. Other: He's quite the looker, and usually when he plays pranks on female wolves it's because he has a crush on them, but doesn't know how to tell them. He likes to play pranks on Luna ;D Name: Woloko Age: Young Adult Gender: Male Pack: Ambrosia Ranking: Warrior Personality: Woloko is very serious about his work- never taking a break, always on his guard. He is practically the exact opposite of his younger brother. Where Zim is light-hearted, easy-going and fun to be around, Woloko is hard and rarely shows his emotions or divulges in any sort of fun. He seems boring and stiff, but really he's a big softie. Description: He has a fine silver-grey coat that blends in really well with practically everything. History: The reason Woloko is so stiff is because he is the one responsible for he and Zim nearly drowning. He used to be fun, in fact, he was even more of a trouble maker than Zim is now- but that all changed when he and Luna had to drag Zim out onto the pebbly riverbank with his little brother's lips blue as ice from the cold. That day, Woloko grew up. He owes his life to Luna, and therefore he is loyal to her and Zim above all others, except for the pack. Other: He has a crush on Luna :3 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Username: kingcobra2018 Name: Azet Age: 2 Gender: Female Pack: Ambrosia Ranking: Alpha Personality: Azet is caring and sweet. Since so many brutes broke her heart she's locked it up in the strongest of locks. She likes to have friends and is usually peaceful and funny. Azet would rather talk than fight and dislikes to hunt. She likes cloudy days more than sunny ones for some weird reason. Description: A white wolf with stunning eyes. Azet has a black front right paw and has a long tail. Azet History: To be RP'd if that's alright... Other: Her brother is Zane Name: Astrid Age: 4 Gender: female Pack: Ambrosia Ranking: Healer Personality: Astrid is nice and calm but it's harder to be reassuring because she's deaf in one ear and blind in one eye. She knew this was going to happen for the signs where popping up. She likes to help but can't do anything else other than heal. Description: A brown and black wolf that looks like she was 'burnt'. She has beautiful eyes even though one of them is blind. History: She can't remember it. Personality: He can get angry easily, but that may be because of how he was raised. Fierce at heart and strong willed has caused him to become sort of like an Alpha in his mind, but his ranking is not that of Alpha Male. Description: Looking exactly like his sister except his muzzle has faint black and silver streaks. He also has three large claw mark scars on his left eye because of a fight he had gotten in. Being much much larger than the average male wolf he is very bulky with muscle. History: He was raised by his and Mae's parents and knew they had abandoned her but he did nothing about it, cause it was him who was supposed to be alpha of their parents pack but when their parents passed on and someone challenged him for alpha-ship he was removed from the pack. Other: His Twin Sister is Mae. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Username: JaylaCaine Name: Shaya Age:4 Gender: Female Pack:Ambrosia Ranking:Healer Personality: Shaya is one of those Earth Mother types. Liking nothing more than to take care of others and mother them. She has always been the type to mother those around her even to the point she had gotten into a fight with some of the older members if she saw that they weren't taking care of themselves. She even gets to the point of snapping and snarling if those she are tending to don't listen. Description: Shaya has pure white fur that is streaked with a bit of a cream colored. She has green eyes and a few scars on her. Mostly on her legs and sides from those she has been taking care of biting or clawing her. History: Shaya was from a large family. Her parents had four pups before her birth and then in her litter were her and four others. So she knew what it was like to help take care of those around her age. Because she preferred to take care of her siblings more then play she didn't really connect with her playmates. As such she spent most of her time with the old healer of the pack. Other: She gets cranky if woken up too early in the day. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Username: rainbowjuice Name: Dagger Age: 5 Gender: Brute Pack: Ambrosia Ranking: Hunter Personality: Dagger is intelligent and quick witted, but that's all that his true personality and name have in common. He's quite nice, but he only gives respect to those who return it to him. Dagger is strong both mentally and physically, although his past has scarred him in more ways than one. He can be very stoic, or he can be very sensitive. It all depends on the subject that Dagger is talking about. This wise old brute often keeps to himself, and it may seem like he's shy. In reality, Dagger is simply a very reserved wolf. Even then, Dagger will be the first to step forward to help a fellow pack member in need. He always protects his friends and beloveds with the same ferocity as a raging fire. Description:Dagger Dagger is a large wolf. He's a silver, almost steely gray all over. Dagger's paws are very broad, perfect for hunting. His eyes are a bright green, always twinkling with cheer. He may not be agile, but he definitely is muscular. Dagger has a large scar on his hind leg. How he got it, nobody knows... History: As a pup, he was abused. Neglected, mistreated, bitten and barked at by his own mother, and so was Zaya. And after that, when Dagger was a few months away from turning one year old, he was abandoned. Living as a loner for three years, Dagger never fully developed proper hunting skills until he was taken in by the Ambrosia Pack at the age of four years old. That was where his new pack mates patiently taught him and his sister to hunt, and now, Dagger is one of the most remarkable hunters in the Ambrosia Pack. Other: His sister is Zaya. Name: Zaya Age: 5 Pack: Ambrosia Gender: Female Ranking: Warrior Personality: Tatzaya is a mischievous, fun loving wolf. She is NOT afraid to stand up for what she thinks is right, and she will not back down from a fight, no matter how violent. You can try as hard as you want to move her, but she's a rock buried deep, deep down in the dirt underneath the river. She can be kind and tenderhearted, but she can unexpectedly lash out when irritated, depressed, or just plain cranky. Being level-headed isn't exactly her cup of tea. Zaya has a fiery personality that differs from hour to hour. One moment, she's depressed, and the next moment, she's swinging off of some high end, doing something insane. Tatzaya is normally an optimist, but she can be quite a nasty pessimist if her mood allows for it. She does have a few episodes of recklessness, but she has immense focus if she concentrates hard enough. Zay isn't exactly the wisest...she does make some good decisions, though. Many of her actions are rash and impulsive. Tatzaya is creative, cunning, and quite clever. Description: ZayaShe's a russet, with more hints of a gold than brown. Zaya is slender but strong, and strength is certainly one of her best assets. She is small but tough. History: See Dagger's history. Other: Her brother is Dagger. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Loners ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Username: na82008 Name:Khaile Age:6 years Gender: male Pack: loner Ranking: loner Personality: He dose not like set rules. Especially rules of sharing. He keeps all his food hidden in a place few can think to look. He rarely shares his food. Unfortunately, he also has a kind side. if someone has been left out to starve, he will give them food, but anyone that steals his food will be hunted down and pay dearly. He will cooperate with others if it is required for survival, even though he will ruthlessly hunt thieves, he feels guilty when someone he knows dies. Description: He is a large, muscular wolf with long sleek black fur. his left flank has a long scratch from an encounter with a boar. His hair covers the scratch. His eyes are dark green. History: History: He was born from 2 loners in a small litter with 2 other pups. His brother was killed by a fox when he was young and his sister was taken into the Nightshade pack. He didn't join because he wanted a more rule free leisurely life. His parents both died of age 2 years ago.
