Posted August 10, 2013 (edited) Welcome to the Unknown Paradise RP! Here's the link to the OOC: Unknown Paradise OOC! History A long time ago, there was a valley. It was full of prey and life. Lush green trees and leaves, conifers... you name it. The valley was mysterious and filled with new things waiting to be discovered. Some dragons from other continents and parts of the world began crossing oceans and discovering the island. Soon, the travelers began spreading word of the island and then millions of dragons traveled the oceans in search of the island. They moved to the valley and the valley was soon populated by millions of dragons. But little did they know, there were dangers there. Prehistoric beast like nothing they have seen before had attacked the dragons, killing them ruthlessly and destroying their homes. The dragons fled quickly, leaving their eggs behind and forgetting about them as they did so. They found a Paradise. Free of the prehistoric monsters. And plentiful food. The dragons are thriving on the Paradise, living a happy life. The Present The valley was once full of life, but the amount of prey is dwindling. Pools of water are now replaced with sticky black tar. The leaves are withering and beginning to die out. Prehistoric beast still lurk behind every bush; dinosaurs and prehistoric mammals from the beginning of time. Some of the mountains explode, and in their place, volcanoes grow, giving birth to boiling lava. There are now wastelands in the island. Nowhere is safe. There is a large river that cuts off the Valley from the Paradise. And in that water, are savage marine mammals and beasts. Some of the adult dragons still live in the Valley, but they are mean and unforgiving- hardened by the shortage of prey and the long months of darkness. This is where you will grow up. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Paradise is lush and full of plentiful, plump prey; there is enough food for everyone. The waters are clean and it is a safe haven for dragons. There are no more dinosaurs, no more beasts and savage mammals. All is good. The area there is wide; bigger than the Valley. Fights rarely break out and all animals are in peace with one another. The dragons have rebuilt there home and they have colonies; and work together. This is where you will travel. Now You are one of the eggs that got left behind. You must hatch and journey to the paradise. Or you can stay and learn to face the dangers of the valley, or find a way to end them once and for all with your elements. She is calm most of the times and likes to prank other hatchlings. When she is normal, her eyes will turn yellow. But sometimes she is easy to be angered and she will attack without hesitating. In this mood, her eyes will turn a dark intimidating purple, and in this form, she is not east to beat. She will cause havoc and chaos if provoked. Mate/Crush: Zion Talents: She has strong healing magic, she acts like a medic and knows the best about healing. Other: Has the power of light. Species: Hellfire Wyvern Personality: Cunning, Shy, Smart, Passionate, Strong Willed, Lonely Mate/Crush: Looking for one Talents: Control over the fire Elemental, can summon fire Elementals to help her fight, they can be killed by ice or water. Other: She can't speak very well due to her voice was messed up by the toxins of the dangers in the valley. Has golden spikes that run down his back. Can roll up in a ball with spikes extended for defense. He finds rolling around a faster way to travel than running. Species: Personality: A loyal and trustworthy dragon. Will sometimes get cocky and take on things he alone can't. He likes to act as the cave guard making sure the entrance is safe and out of sight of predators. He also takes the roll of a mediator, breaking up any disputes and being fair in judgement. Crush: Soul Talents: Very good at the Earth Element. He can roll into a ball and flex out his spikes to roll around at high speed. He will lose his sense of direction if he does it too long. Other: He gets nervous with too much attention. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Username: WolfehDragon Name: Lyrith Gender: Male Appearance: Just like any normal Alt Sweetling, but his red feathers are longer and so are his legs, they are powerful and long. Species: Personality: Lyrith is a loner. Most of the times, he is just casually, and he will often act smooth. Even though he's a sweetling, he hardly shows any love what so ever. He hates being pitied by other hatchlings and he is an excellent fighter. But unlike most sweetlings, he shows a great display of power and magic. Sometimes he had a soft side wich is VERY VERY rare. He is fearless and likes to go on adventures. He hardly haves and freinds and likes to do things on his own. Mate: None.. for now. Talents: Combat and he is good at hiding his expression. Very good on survival. Other: Has countless scars covering his body and has sharp feathers. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Username: KrazyKat12 Name: Clair Gender: Female Appearance: The tan of her scales is darker than normal, with occasional black stripes here and there. Her eyes are a dark crimson which become and eerie green at night. Species: Personality: Clair is a unique dragon when it comes to her personality. She can be kind and sweet at times, but she like to keep to herself. She's witty, crude, and sometimes a little bit rude. When she is angry, it's not a good thing to be around her. She will tear anything in her way to pieces, and by this it mainly means vocally. Her scoldings are the worst, and if she really hates you, she will attack you. She's not afraid to use her fire to fight, and somewhat likes the pain of others. Despite her cruel nature, she will do anything to protect her friends, going as far as killing herself to save them. It's a good idea to become her friend before she claims you as an enemy. Mate/Crush: N/A Talents: She was somehow born skilled, having an instinct to be agile, clever, and quick. Other: She will not kill someone no matter how much she hates them. She only kills her prey. Otherwise, he looks like a standard Ochredrake. Species: Personality: A little dumb, goofy, but very sweet. He's playful, rambunctious, and a little too quick to trust. Mate/Crush: None Talents: He's got a good 'singing' voice. Other: Nothing, really. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Username: Jass Name: Avio Gender: Male Appearance: He is blind, so his eyes are milky blue. Species: White dragon Personality: He is a very curious dragon, and is not afraid to any dragon, possibly because he can't see. He is happy to be him, whether blind or not. He barely talks at all, afraid to make mistakes. He behaves like a spider when he hunts, waiting for the prey to come to him. Mate/Crush: none yet. Talents: Despite being blind, he is very good at directing himself around, most likely because his hearing is extremely well, although occasionally, he makes mistakes. Huge burly wings on his broad back. Species: Ember Dragon Personality: He doesnt trust many people, very quiet, kind of rude, mean, snarky. Mate/Crush:None. Thinks he shoudlnt havent one till hes ready. Talents: He is very stealthy for his size, and flies better than most ember dragons. Species: Daydream Dragon Personality: Sociable, funny, smart, always in for a good laugh, easily distracted, Daydreams a lot. (Durr) Mate/Crush: She wantts one, but is always distracted so she wouldnt match up well. Talents: Cause severe daydreams were your in a trance state for months at a time. A great talent when trying to sneak up on someone. Only reversal is if you can find her through the trance. Her back is speckled with dark gray. Other than that, she is a normal Lotus Dragon. Species: Personality: Likes to socialize. She is overjoyed and happy. She is rarely sad. A fun-loving dragon who will do her best to cheer everyone up. She is observant. Likes to prank sometimes. Mate/Crush: Open. Talents: Can control nature and flowers. WARNING: Her fluff is soft. VERY soft. Species: Pillow dragon Personality: She's flirty, and usually wants to obtain attention from ALL of the boys. She likes tackling male dragons so they could feel her fluffiness. Occasionally, she tackles the females, but only if she deems them worthy of the fluff. She's mischievous a lot, and she likes watching people argue with each other for some weird reason. Depending on the time, if its morning, she's extremely hyper when she wakes up. If its night time, Kiki will become incredibly lazy, and will immediately start sleeping. Mate/Crush: (ALL of the boys are crushes to her, LOL) Talents: She becomes a pillow to male and sometimes female dragons. Other: Kikou's main purpose is comedy,thus deeming her the Joker. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Username: Sylviinael Name: Lillith Gender: Female Appearance: (Dc Appearance) Species: Hellhorse Dragon Personality: Shy, quiet, shadowed, loving, calm Mate/Crush: None. Talents: Running Take off. Fits in with Horses and dragons. No special talent. Other: She feels like she doesn't fit in. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Username: Skiddajane Name: Nathan (Nate) Gender: Male Appearance: A bit darker blue than most, but a bit of color variation is to be expected. This more vibrant contrast between dark blue and his white markings makes his scales appear more defined than many other Royal Blues. Species: Royal Blue Personality: Nathan is kind of a bad***. A tough guy by nature, and likes to flirt with the ladies. He has a sadistic personality though, and he is not afraid to show it. He likes to tell twisted stories to the other dragons and hatchlings for the enjoyment of making them afraid or even cry. Although his mind may suggest otherwise, he is actually not a very violent dragon. While strong and very good at fighting, he really doesn't like to start fights unless absolutely necessary. He jokes around a lot and enjoys simply getting in the way or being a bother to other dragons. It is especially creepy when he stays so calm and collected while doing this. Mate/Crush: None for now, but really wants one. Talents: He can generate mildly strong force fields around himself, and only one other dragon at a time. He is also a great hunter and leader when he isn't being obnoxious. Nathan likes taking the lead and getting the job done. He also likes making and decorating things. (He never tells anyone this because he considers this a girly thing) Other: He hopes one day to have a mate and possibly have a few children. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Username: Soleas Name: Aragon Gender: Male Appearance: Like any normal electric Dragon except he is more powerful and energetic Species: Electric Dragon Personality: Friendly,Extremely Loyal and is always on the front line of defense to defend his friends Mate/Crush: N/A Talents: control the weather to his liking and never gets affected by climate changes Other: he is an egg.One of the late to hatch ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Username: Jass Name: Novia Gender: Female Appearance: She has bright stars on her body, with constellations on them. She has 6 stars that shine the brightest on her body, but they may be dyed dark temporarily if she uses her powers too much. Species: Frozen hatchling Nebula Personality: She acts cold to most of the hatchlings, exceptions are with Kikou. She isn't cruel, but her actions usually result in other hatchlings thinking that she is. She usually wears a blank glare on her face when she is passing by other hatchlings. She is surprisingly honest, but, it can give some hatchlings an uneasy feeling since she's a bit...brutal with her honest feelings. Mate/Crush: She's frozen. No hatchlings. Talents: She can freeze time in place for 5 minutes and time travel through past, although the only time she'll be time traveling is if she is desperate. Other: "I suggest you give up on the others, Kikou." - Novia She won't be instantly frozen the minute she is born, rather, she'll be frozen when she has fully matured into a mature, red nebula. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Username: KrazyKat12 Name: Amarusu Gender: Female Appearance: Her claws are sharp and her red eyes appear to be more pink than red. Her horns are short and blunt. Species: Personality: Amarusu is a very shy dragon. She does not talk much and hardly makes eye contact. She'd rather watch and analyze a fight then actually join it, but if the situation calls for it, she will fight. It's hard for her to make friends but as soon as she does she will stick with that dragon for a long time, mainly hoping for their protection, since she is not a good fighter. As soon as she finds a protector, she will do almost anything for them to return the favor, ranging from collecting berries to delivering messages, dispite her shyness. Amarusu is also very smart and curious, gaining her even more knowledge, and sometimes injuries. Mate/Crush: Open Talents: She knows many, many things about other species of dragons. Her curiousity gains her that knowledge, and some of it she heard her parents talking about when she was inside her egg. Other: She is the most loyal dragon you might ever meet, almost never leaving her protector's side. She has a feather obsession. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Username: ArchiosLukos Name: Namiko Gender: Male Appearance: *Infant *Child/Teen *Adult Species: Personality: *Bitterly, well... Bitter. Namiko was not pleased with being left behind and has sworn vengeance on dragons, dinosaurs, and mammals alike. In other words, typically not very friendly at all. *He will avoid fights with those larger than him unless he is worked into a blind rage. Still, it would be much easier for him to be coaxed to fight someone more his own size than a powerful adult dragon. Dinosaurs are just about the same stature according to him though. *He could possibly team up with someone if he is utterly charmed or impressed by them, but if he's impressed it has to be to the point that he doesn't believe that he could overpower the other dragon. He could also be impressed if another being were to seem to understand his thoughts and feelings. *As far as romance, when he gets a bit older I bet someone could win over his heart, but at the moment he is in that awkward growing phase before any of those hormones start flying. (I don't mind romance or bromance in varying degrees based off of the other player.) Mate/Crush: -- Talents: *Melee Immunity: "You are immune to attacks where damage is dealt physically. Slashing, piercing, and bludgeoning attacks are ineffective unless dealt by magic or others who have similar properties to you. (such as other shadowwalkers)" *Reality Shift: "You shift in and out of reality at will or sometimes at random if something interferes with you. These shifts create a sort of invisibility cloak around you from the perspective of other phaze levels." *Eye of the Storm: "You hold the power of the storm. Lightning and winds bend to your will when they are about and you can create your own little pieces of the elements. However, this takes some training and can quickly tire you out." Other: *He is meant to be a villain *The images of his appearance are meant to be open to interpretation. However, the adult image is what all the others are based off of. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Username: Skiddajane Name: Hailey Jo (Hailey, or Hails) Gender: Female Appearance: Just like a normal Purple Breed: Purple Dragon personality: Hailey is a very sweet dragon who is extremely loyal to others. She wants to please everyone, even if it means doing EXACTLY what she's told. She is a natural adventurer, and likes to look at the positives. She never fights or hunts. She isn't good at being funny, but her gentle voice and carefully chosen words are enough to cheer someone up. Mate/Crush: Open. Talents: She has invisibility, and she can make colors in the air. The colors are basically...dyed air. She uses her ability to create illusions or to help tell stories. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Username: Jass Name: Evako Gender: Male Appearance: He has sharper teeth than the others. Species: Magi Personality: Evako is a nice and a surprisingly caring dragon. He does random acts of kindnesses to even the most bitter dragons. He simply wants everyone to have fun. He can easily be stressed out, however, and can have a mental breakdown if he is completely overstressed. Mate/Crush: no one yet. Talents: Evako is a natural born Mage, so he can use time magic like Novia, or simply summon a strong(but small) and visible aura-like ball to attack with. Of course, he's extremely weak if he uses physical attacks. His tongue is a lighter contrast to his skin and a pinkish white, with no forked end. Species: Black Marrow Personality: He is guarded and wary around strangers, as well as being generally rude to those around him. He will make it clear to others that he wants to be alone, but naturally craves comfort and being close to other dragons. Has a low self-esteem and is secretly afraid that he is actually not a dragon. When he first hatches: Because he is a newborn, he doesn’t know much and might be friendly to nice dragons and gullible to manipulative ones. Once he finds out that he looks like a blob of red flesh, he’ll become more reclusive and not want to be around anybody. Mate/Crush: None, at least until he matures. Talents: Playing dead and having a very big tongue that can somewhat use other objects. Other: - Hatched early and is smaller (not in length but more in stature and bulk) than a regular hatchling. - Has a constant cough that can get better or worse depending on how stressed he is. - His voice is pitched to a point where you really can’t tell if he’s a male or a female. It all depends on who is listening to him and how they hear things. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Username: XxDragonletxX Name: Tsinamio Gender: Female Appearance: Grey speckles on her body here and there. Her markings are turquoise striking cherry red eyes that give her the view-gate to one's personality. Species: Personality: Tsinamio likes to socialize, but she has her moments when she is quiet and she wants to be alone. Shy at most, but she is loyal and fierce if she needs to be. Far from stupid, she is creative and a bit sneaky. She will avoid fights if she can, but if she is protecting someone and or her life depends on it, she will do everything in her power to stop her opponents. She is a good person to be with and she is capable of soothing even the most angered hearts. Mate/Crush: Talents: -Water Drain: Tsinamio has the ability to control water and bend it to her will in all kinds of shapes and sizes. For example, she can make tiny ripples in a water to the biggest waves, manipulating rain, etc. It is effective against many opponents and is hard to maneuver through. -Rainbow Mirror: The uncanny power to create double rainbows across the sky using sprinkles of water to blind her opponents for a short period of time. This however, takes training and energy. Cannot be avoided unless you close your eyes against it. -Gift Of Time: Tsinamio's reactions are so fast that it is as if she sees everything in slow motion, and it gives her a huge advantage -Echolocation: Tsinamio can send out small squeaks and chirps witch bounces off of objects and help her detect things in even the darkest of places. -Tail Whip: Due to her long tail, she can form it into a weapon. Able to use it as a whip to stun her enemys, but Tsinamio will only use it as a last resort. Other: Tsinamio has more history and connection with her parents more than you think. But the only thing she ever really truly remembers about them is this warm, glowing smile from her parents... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Username: georgexu94 Name: Christine Gender: Female Appearance: She is a pretty and majestic Snow Angel dragon. She has gold feathers with red and green at the tip. Species: Personality: Kind, loyal, friendly Mate/Crush: none Talents: She is capable of flying very high due to her light feather wings. She spreads Christmas joy and warmth around her, being a Christmas dragon. Other: She is able to heal herself and others from minor injuries. This power is strong especially during the Christmas season. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Username: KitKat10 Name: Windsweeping Gender: Female Appearance: Long, unhealed gash on right back thigh Species: Speckle-Throated Personality: Naive and outgoing, she often ventures too far into situations as, although she is good at judging situations that do not involve her, she often makes mistakes when dealing with her own well-being. Mate/Crush: none wink.gif Talents: She is very smart and can predict outcomes in cause and effect situations, although her magic is not very strong. Her eyes are wide, big and black, considered cut and attractive. Species: Personality: Neon Leaf is sweet, trusting and caring. She hardly cares about what anybody thinks of her. She likes meeting new people and making freinds. She's eager, and rarely gives up. Not shy at all, but she is well reserved and patient. She is creative, determined that she can do anything. She beleives that she can fix anything and put it to good use. Mate: None Talents: Controlling plants. Other: Very creative. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Username: XxDragonlet Name: Mimiko Gender: Female Appearance: Somewhat bigger for her age and her scales are a bit more pale than sunny Species: Sunsong Amphiptere Personality: Mimiko is sunny and cheery, but suspicious at times if she has to be. She is brave and fearless, sticking up for her freinds, even if it means taking the blame. Mimiko enjoys observing things so that she can pick up fighting moves and hunting skills, no matter what the animal is. Sometimes she is quiet, sitting in the corner of somewhere. Mate/Crush: None Talents: Sunsong hides a poisenous venom in her fangs, enough to stun someone or put them in a trance when they are bitten, this can only be broken unless it is healed with strong magic or good herbs; sometimes her bites are enough to kill. She can also cast strong rays of magic and illusions. Other: Her strength comes and goes with the sun. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Username: rainbowjuice Name: Azena Gender: Female Appearance: She's well built, like any other Seragamma. Azena has a creamier underside than most female Seragammas, who have bright white bellies. Her eyes are a deep amber, and her tail is a bit longer than most Seragammas. Azena has large branched horns that curve to the sky, and the puff of feathers on her head and chest are a jet black instead of the usual grey. Her teeth and claws are wickedly sharp, more dangerous than the finest sabers. Species: Seragamma Wyvern Personality: Azena is extremely fierce, never backing down from a fight. She always stands up for what she believes is right. If she doesn't get what she wants, she will find a way to get her revenge. Despite these traits, Azena loves to have fun, and on most days, she'd rather be playing than fighting. Mate/Crush: She's not interested in anyone, unless she really thinks that she's found the right dragon. Talents: Azena is much stronger than most Seragammas, but the real kicker is her flying ability. She can soar where just about no other dragon can, higher than mountains. Also, Azena is fast and agile, but she's not one to flee. Posted August 22, 2013 Prehistoric beast still lurk behind every bush; Dinosaurs and prehistoric mammals from the beginning of time. "Dinosaurs" should be all lowercase letters. Some of the mountains expload, and in their place, valcanos grow, giving birth to boiling lava. "expload" should be "explode"; the plural of "volcano" is "volcanoes", not "volcanos". Posted August 24, 2013 Soul rammed at the side of her shell with a sturdy head. She gave out a huff of annoyance and exasperation; how was she supposed to get out? Her 'home' was a burden now and she couldn't get out. She could barely breath anymore. In fustration, she rammed herself against the side of the egg. It cracked and light seeped in, taking the Soulpeace dragon by surprise. She tumbled ungracefully on the ground and looked around with wide eyes. She turned around to face the other eggs. There were so many.... staring in awe, she walked up to one. It was a very dark red color. And it was hot... Soul stepped back in shock as she touched it, only to discover nothing but a burning touch. Her paw was singed. With another huff of annoyance, she turned around to study the other eggs. Posted August 24, 2013 Chessayia growls and attacks the inside of her shell angerly. It cracks underneath her and she falls out in a huff. Looking around she only sees one other hatchling. She growls a little bit beforre sneezing a burst of fire. She blinks an looks at the end of her snout in intrest 'what was that? It was hot and hurt my mouth.' She wonders to herself as she looks around at the other eggs. She goes over to the other hatchling and sniffs her. She gathers up her courage and speaks to the hatchling. "Hello there." Posted August 25, 2013 Soul's eyes lit up with ethusiasm as she padded out the cave. She sniffed the air again. "I think I smell a..-" She paused. She couldn't place a paw on it. What was the creature that she smelt? Then a word popped into her head. "It's a squirrel." She announced. "Alright. I have a plan, it's in that bush right there." She guestered with a paw to a round thing with many leaves covering it. She padded over to it. "I'll stay on this side, you go onto the other side. When I swish my tail in the air, that's the signal that the hunt is about to start. Then I will scare the squirrel right into your paws and you kill it." She finished, taking in a huge breath. She wondered where that plan had come from. She had just... thought of it. But most of all, she just hoped that it would work. "Do you get it?" She asked, turning to face the red hatchling. Posted August 25, 2013 (edited) Quickly and quietly, Soul moved into her position. Once she was in the right spot, she swished her tail in the air, hoping that Chessayia got the message. She held it like that in the air for half a minute before she dropped her tail and pounced at the bush that the squirrel was in. She lot out a low growl, startling the creature out of it's wits and making it run straight into Chessayia's paws. Soul hoped that she would notice the creature running towards her. Posted August 25, 2013 (edited) Soul stares at the hatchling as she eats the head. Wait... How did she eat it? The bones and all? But still out of this weird moment, she was curious. Soul shudders deeply and eats her part of her fill. She rips chunks of flesh off of the body ravenously, taking mouthfuls. After eating, she licked her chops to clean off the faint blood stain. "I'm going exploring." Soul announced after she finished her food, raising a paw in the air, "You can come with me if you want to." Posted August 26, 2013 Soul turned around, she had expected that Chesseyia would want to explore the forest. After all, it was there home, wasn't it? She only heard the sounds of snoring of the other hatchling as she softly padded through the undergrowth of the forest, stepping on twigs that prickled her paw-pads. After a few minutes of walking, she heard strange noises. Scratch scratch Rustle rustle *Hiss* Soul jumped, where was all that noise coming from? She looked around, her head turning rapidly as she searched the area. Nothing, but she had thought that she heard the slightest sound of wing beats from off a distance. She continued to walk on, sweat began forming on her face, she even started padding faster. The noise continued on, and in her attempt to escape from them, she tripped over her on paws and fell down a steep slope. "Gah!" Share this post Link to post
