I am still deciding where to put my spits and will get back to you on that one... will most likely end up be random as I am horrible at organizing dragons, but I will definitely have them in a spreadsheet. c:

I'll join! Just for the lulz...I already have Holly dragons. Of course, if the prize egg is a better lineage than mine - then I'll nab it. lol!

Also, I was a winner in the original top 8, but declined because of the gifting of others <3

So, maybe in the Hall of Fame, you could put who collected the most, and possibly their numbers, also if they accepted/got a holly? I think that would be more fun; might make the section longer, but I think even if you participated with a large amount you should be recognized (My total was near 500, I think, possibly close to 600?)

I would Like to join this! I forgot to join up last year, don't want to make that mistake again! I will keep them in my scroll, but put numbers or HC after all of their names! Thank you very much!

edit: decided to go with posting numbers after them, even though with they're grow-time and frozens it gets sort of muddled at points. So after each one is their number.

Currently they are numbered on the second page [if you have it on the 500 per page look], though i expect they will exceed that soon.

Also, in case you cant find them still, they are listed in my Dragon Lineage doc, here, just hit CNTRL-F and type spitfire, and all of the ones are there, as well. The eligible ones are numbered, and they start with the dragon named Start With Me 1, and all of the hatchlings are counted, as I didnt begin freezing spits until this.

Yeah! The new thread is up!

I really like sunsteps88's idea for the Hall of Fame, as there were I think quiet a few of us who had the higher numbers and opted to pass the Holly we would've won on to someone else.

Also, for counting purposes, I personally found it easier to keep track of what I had as the numbers got higher with keeping a list, instead of just looking by scroll. I know google documents isn't available to everyone, however, if you've a livejournal, dreamwidth, blogger, or even your own personal excel sheet, you can easily use the links there to keep track too. I used a live journal page with the links for mine last year.

That's about all the advice I have for now.

Go forth and make those spitfires multiply!

Keep in mind, even if you start late, you can still amass a LOT of spitfires. You'd be surprised at how fast they accumulate when you are collecting hard core. So even if you start out hard early, then sort of fizzle out, you can still rally back and achieve a lot.

I will have to speak with the other hosts first Skauble. I do not view her not having a forum account to be a problem, but I cannot speak for everyone here about that. Though there is one small question. The question that I have for you is if she already has a holly is she trying to get a second one from different parents? Or is she interested in being a donar?

manypets4me and skauble-- It is my (Pteprocks') opinion, as was ArynChris' last year, that if your relatives want to play, they should make their own forum account, as it really isn't that much trouble. This policy helps prevent multiscrollers from using alternate scrolls in the contest as well. However, like GokaiPink said, it is up for discussion with the other hosts.

Included the donations of Bluheart, Xeriina, and dragonpuck, bringing the grand Holly total so far to 18! Thank you all so much!

We would also like a bit more information from:

InariRoku, Vakarian, and reithemalkavian-- How will you be listing your totals?

Kaylion and Vampiresswolf-- Where on your scroll will you be listing the Spitfires?
