Posted May 25, 2012 (edited) The adult look great! Tsunami is my favorite sprite, they're so compact looking - and that cute little tail! Luminas got great versatile colors though, loads of lineage potential there. And there's never enough buttwings to go around Kinda wish that at least one of the adults took after their glorious description and was preening or something haha. The Ultraviolets look great too. The male looks like he's just got up, and is stretching It's nice how you can see the features of both parents in the adults! Posted May 25, 2012 Very striking adults. They're all lovely, but I have to say that the tsunami are my favorites. I'm a sucker for blue and the "leopard print" on the wings is just gorgeous. Posted May 25, 2012 I just adore the Tsunami wyverns. The coloring is just wonderful. The Luminas will look grate when paired with my whites the hybrid is nice also. They seem to keep the spit fire body with purple flames WB Share this post Link to post
Posted May 25, 2012 (edited) To be honest, I expected something different.. I generally don't like sprites with small heads, though I understand why this has been done. There's clearly a lot of effort put in all of them of course and I appreciate it! The Luminas are my favorites! Thanks a lot Tj and artists for this new release and happy birthday to all DC-ers! Posted May 25, 2012 finally I can see the adults I love the patterns on the Tsunami wings and their cute newt like tails. The female ultra violet is beautiful. The curls on the bottom edges of the wings giveit flair and the echoing of the spitfire colours will look lovely in lineages. Posted May 25, 2012 (edited) So much <3 to Tsunami Wyvern, absolutely amazing colors. And although they are giants, they still look really cute. Also, always <3 for giant dragons. The Ultraviolets look really neat, too. I especially like the female sprite, great pose! And albeit all look really well done, I don't really like the Luminas as much as the others, due to their rather plain poses, in comparison, maybe. But the shading is really awesome! And Lumina is a really nice breed name. Many many thanks to TJ & spriters for the great work and the big release despite of moving house and all! Lumina Trivia: The male Lumina was originally going to be my Christmas dragon submission (Wrapping Paper) until I decided I didn't want to try for the holiday and decided to save them for a normal release. Posted May 25, 2012 anyone know what the spriter's alts look like, i really want to see the Tsunami and Lumina alts *nods* i have to say my least fav is the hybrid; i'm not a huge fan of the spitfire and the sprite resembles that dragon way to much for me to warm up to it. i wish more of the puprple woudl have been incoorperated into the design tbh. however, i am glad that the Hybrid is using the spitfire, means those lovelys wont be cave blockers for the time being that alone makes me want to do my fair share of collecting them my absolutley fav is the Lumani babies. i absolutley ADORE the ungendered hatchling sprite, so much that i'll be hunting the AP for a messy lineaged one to freeze. it's got to be in the top 5 for fav ungender hatchies *nods* the only disapointment with the Lumani's are the lack of gold in the adults, given how prominent the color is in the eggs. i was hoping that the wing membranes woudl have a goldish tent to them *nods* but i still love these guys enough to build an army and do a breeding project with them love the names and the descriptions too, totlaly using some variation of Narcissa in my namming scheme for them i love that we have blue Wyvren now!!! though the Shimmers are still my absolute FAV Wyvren with the BBW's in 2nd. these guys are my forth fav. i do have to say, complete 180 in looks from hatchie to adult, took me by surprise and i like that the Tsunami's have the most beautiful shading out of the new releases and i love how the egg design is incoorperated into the adult sprite! okay, i'll stop gushing now Wellp, we've now got dragons who make thunder, storms, lightening, earthquakes, and tsunamis. Guess a tornado dragon is up next, or ... acid rain dragon. Apocalypse dragon, perhaps? don't forget a Hurricane and Typhoon(sp) dragon beign in the south where we constantly get Hurricans i'd abo****ley adore a Hurricane Dragon. infact, we could get a Twister dragon and make the hurricane Dragon a hybrid of the Tsunami and Twiser to repersent the two aspects of a Hurricane (its strom wall and wind/rain) *runs off to the drawling board* Share this post Link to post

Posted May 25, 2012 (edited) I've been doing a lot of gasping lately, for Dragon Cave releases x3 They are all gorgeous ! ! *Must collect an army of Tsunami Wyverns! ~ Everyone's guesses were pretty spot on Edit: The Ultraviolets look like big dragons, but that makes sense in regards to their parents The Luminas would look beautiful with the original sprites for White dragons. Posted May 25, 2012 Dat Hybrid. Finally a non-sissy easily-obtainable purple dragon with well-matching accents! ... I need more purples and spitfires. At least four sets to make a pretty 4th gen and spread the love to the AP ‹3 I still need 2 more Tsunami to complete my breeding set [make 3rd gen pure-breeds will EVERYTHING ]... this i might have to do with trading. Posted May 25, 2012 okay i cna't decide which pairing i love the most with the Lumani babys Lumina x Harvest Stripe x Lumina Black x Lumina Gold Wyvren x Lumani Lumani x Gold (i'd love to see a CB male paired with a Lumani but i don't have one yet) Lumani x Red Nebbi (the red tint of the Nebbi makes the Lumani's belly look reddish ) also, this is interesting. if someone gets a lieage that contains SW's and they don't have a CB to continue it the Lumani's complement the SW's sprites very nicely. like how some use the Whites I think there wont be alts of these. Posted May 25, 2012 I have to say that over all I am very pleased with this release. I think the Lumina is my favorite, but they are all nice dragons with some unique features.
