All listers have been checked for activity, so please come offer eggs if you have them! And come hang out with us in the IRC channel - #spreadthelove. We are a very friendly group and love to chat about anything and everything. Please always look over the newly revised rules, and other things. Sometimes things change on you - so it's your responsibility to reread each time you're in this thread, especially when making an application. Code forms also can change on you! It's up to you to keep updated! PLEASE BE PATIENT. Remember that your mods have lives as well. We will keep things moving as quickly as we can. Hello and welcome! The concept behind this gifting thread is paying it forward and repaying it by spreading the love to someone else. Our in-list repayment system has been canceled, but please remember that generosity is the name of the game! When you have something special, breed it for others to have too! There may still be some people out there who don't have a single tinsel yet and don't see any way they can hope to trade for one, so this thread is hopefully going to help spread the love a little bit. That's why this thread was set up! We love to spread the love around! And it doesn't JUST have to be tinsels - you can donate mate requests, too! FAQ/RULES How to get a tinsel: You must have at least a bronze trophy level scroll. You must have a male and female pink dragon grown for influencing your tinsel. You must not have the colour tinsel you are are requesting. You must not have any fogged eggs or hatchlings. If you have some, you must contact a mod through PM or on the IRC channel (#spreadthelove) and arrange to show us your fogged eggs before you post your application. Applications with scrolls with fogged eggs or hatchlings are automatically denied. You must agree to continue any naming pattern the donor asks of you. You must breed your tinsel to the best possible mate to best continue the line. You must check your PMs regularly. If you do not respond to a gift message within 48 hours, you will be removed from the list. You are welcome to reapply when you have more free time. You must use the correct application format for whichever list you are applying to. Otherwise, you will be ignored. Oh, and, there are two elements to the proof line. You may only apply for one color at a time. Don't panic, the thread isn't going anywhere, you have plenty of time to get the other colors. If your application is rejected, read the rules again and figure out why, and post a new application with the corrections. Most of the mods will even tell you why right in their response. DO NOT go back and edit your previous application, just post a new one for us. Please have patience in terms of your name appearing on gifter lists, tinsel lists, etc. Check to see if there is a "Thread updated to this post" entry *after* you made your post. If not, nobody has been into this account to be able to make the update. You will be added as soon as we are able to do so. If there has been an update and you got missed, please politely quote your original post to remind us - the updater is only human and occasionally does miss things! To donate a tinsel, donate to someone who has already been accepted. Ideally, donate to someone who is on one of the lists on the front of this thread. If the people on the lists already have tinsels, feel free to look for an applicant on here, but only applications that have been marked as approved by a moderator Once you have donated, you must post the donor form if you wish for your gift to be recorded and for yourself to therefore show as a registered donor. If you don't care about having it recorded then there is no need to be a registered donor (unless you like the satisfaction of seeing what you have gifted) - but if you do wish to become a registered donor you MUST post the form. To request a mate for your tinsel, simply use the mate request form provided. Please note that due to the minimal activity on this thread, you may be waiting a long time. Also note that this does not include asking for tinsels to mate to a non-tinsel dragon! The mate request lists are for non-tinsel dragons to be mated to tinsel dragons only. When you get the mate you need, whether through here or on your own, make sure that you post the mate received form so that we can remove you from the lists! When you get a tinsel, whether from one of our donors or outside of the thread, you must report it so we can remove you from the list! There are separate forms for tinsels received through the thread or outside of the thread, please choose the correct one. Please note that you must post the gift even if your donor has already posted a donor form, as the lists are separate and you may not be removed from the list when you should be. Make sure that you put your favorite animal into the application to show that you've read this far. To get onto the inbred raising or freezing lists, you must have fewer than 5 tinsels (total, all colors combined) OR be a registered donor. Things that get you banned: Accepting more than one tinsel of the same color while you are on that tinsel list earns you a 1 week temp ban. Doing so a second time gets you permabanned. "Just thought I'd try" when you know you should not be posting (ie list is full, you are not eligible due to no trophy, no BSA pink dragons, etc) will result in a one week temp ban. This is to discourage "line-cutting". Posts that try to call dibs will result in a one week temp ban. Being rude, whining, begging will earn in a two week temp ban. Using bite, EQ BSA, anything that endangers the life of your tinsel earns you a month long temp ban. Trading away your gifted tinsel for something else, giving it to someone else not as part of a trade, releasing to the wild, freezing (unless received from the freezing list on the inbred shelter) or killing it will earn you a lifetime ban. More methods to get banned will be listed as they come up. We would rather that you don't get banned so that you can spread the love. Other infractions will be up to the mods/updaters. After three strikes you will BE BANNED forever from this thread. Make sure that you also tell us your favorite type of candy. Just so we know you're still reading. For RAISING: You may not have more than 5 Tinsels OR be a registered donor (regardless of how many tinsels you have). For FREEZING: Be a registered donor (regardless of how many tinsels you have). A few of the thread members are still trying their best to get eggs out to our listers, but the wait seems to be pretty long these days. REMINDER: Listers are still required to respond to offers within 48 hours. People who do not respond will be removed from the lists. People who try to offer eggs to those on the list tend to stop trying when people continually don't respond - and given my response above about how stubborn tins are being about breeding these days, the LAST thing we need is to drive away potential donators! orelhasgp and C88 have both been removed for failure to respond.
