Posted September 16, 2011 (edited) Broskii Region RP Characters Thread This is the Character's Thread of the Broskii Region RP. I made this thread because we needed a better way to keep track of all the characters of the RP and their pokemon. Mainly their pokemon since it is a little tricky to keep track of each of the other characters. So, this Thread will be periodically updated with the RPers pokemon's level and their current teams and location. It also contains information about the NPCs of the RP and will be updated each time it is necessary. Please keep your posts in this thread only refering to the parties and character's, any other comment, post it in the OOC Thread which is for what it is, thanks. IC Thread//OOC Thread General Rules -No legendaries will be allowed in this RP other than the ones I have you encounter, and there is a designated place for some of them to be, but that doesn't mean you will find them there on your first visit. -Stay Active! It’s a very important part of an RP. If you are going to be unable to post for a while, PM me, so I know why you aren’t posting and won’t kick you out. That's something I wouldn't like, specially if you can't post for major reasons. - If you are finding a rare item (i.e. a TM/hold item), you can post finding the item but not specifically what it is. I will then decide what the item is and inform you. -If you happen to run into another participating RPer, stick to events that you both witness. This means don't talk about events your character hasn't witnessed even if you know about them. -Other than that just follow the basic forum rules and keep it PG13 -Everyone has the chance to encounter a shiny Pokemon, but just one. You can decide which Pokemon it should be, asking for it when a wild encounter resolves (me posting the wild Pokemon you encounter) or when you reach the area the Pokemon appears; you can PM me to tell me which Pokemon you want to be a shiny when you encounter it. -Everyone note I will be strict on shiny posts. If I think the post isn't good enough then the Pokemon will break out and flee. This cannot be over ruled by any RPer. If the post is nearly good enough, I might give you a second bite at the shiny, but if the second post is short then once again it will flee. Obviously the 'stronger' or 'rarer' a Pokemon is the harder the shiny will be to catch. i.e. a shiny Rattata is difficult to catch, but a shiny Scyther will be damn near impossible. Also there will be an absolute maximum of 1 shiny per RPer. This is not negotiable. -Also, every single game starter has a chance to appear everywhere, but it is a small chance. So I don't suggest you keep on a route waiting for one, as it is probable you'll encounter one in the future. -The starters appear in places suitable to their environment. This means Charmander is a "rough terrain Pokemon" so it would appear around mountains or rough terrain routes, water starters are most "river side Pokemon" so they would appear around rivers, ponds or sea, and grass starters are likely to appear anywhere where there is grass so, you get the idea... -Everyone starts with a Pokemon at lvl 5, but your Pokemon will gain levels with almost every battle -refer to the "About Leveling up a Pokemon" part of the rules section. -This RP happens about 8-10 years after the events of the first anime series and characters of the series and games can appear later in the RP. ->This RP is not meant to be just for Semi-Lit RPers, but it would be nice each RPer effort themselve to creat post with at least 3-4 sentences. I want this to be entertraining and despite reading walls of words is not fun, reading one-liners isn't either. That’s all of them. Just follow these rules and this will run smoothly. Posted September 16, 2011 (edited) Approved RPers and Character Sheets Jeimuzu Name: Xaime Diomedes (often referred to using his last name) Age: 17 Gender: Male Appearance: Diomedes is slimly built, measuring a height of 5"5 - measured with ease by the fact he always stands with his back straight, combined with normally folded arms to make for a relatively confident if cocky appeal. His hair, while seen as blond in the light of the sun, has been darkening over the years to an oaky brunette, and his eyes are a deep maroon. His clothing does rarely vary; he has two headbands, both black, one featuring the number 9 and the other the number 4, both being displayed in orange. He is short-sighted (physically, not mentally), and so often wears a pair of shaded red glasses, the rim of which rests halfway between his pupils, giving his gaze an unnerving edge. - Clicky Personality: To those that don't know him, Diomedes seems to present himself clearly; A cold, calculating male, capable of doing things by himself and happy to keep it that way. And he upholds this - kind of like a test of the individual. To those that seem to want to know him, he is actually relatively cheerful, content to help and has a flair for humour. He is very intelligent an individual and applies his knowledge how he deems it to work best, though another way to describe the rest of his behaviour is... Impish. While he can be lazy and unmotivated, the prospect of competition of challenge unleashes a fire from within him, and he has a great deal of pride - not in himself, but in those around him, and what he may work towards. Despite his distinct lack of any real or close friends, he is incredibly loyal and readily caring. History: Diomedes lived with his parents in the small house before the exit-entrance to Greenwood forest, and, upon reaching ten years of age, despite the commute from his home to the lab, he turned down Professor Pine's offered starter pokemon on the grounds that he doubted his ability to befriend pokemon in general, and was rather intimidated by the concept of the vast journey. He instead requested to study under the professor, apprenticing under him at the lab. Though, all the while, the professor retained the pokemon that would have been Diomedes' new companion - and the two are often seen together, more and more lately as the pokemon strives to prove its worth and affections to the would-be trainer that first seemed so unwilling. woshiico0kie Name: Morty Shimizu Age: 10 Gender: Male Appearance: Morty1 Morty2 Personality: Morty is somewhat a perfectionist, yet he can be very lazy. Sometimes, he gives up after completing something to almost 90%, which is usually to the disbelief of his parents. He cites the usual reason of being bored of the said activity. He is usually quiet though, keeping his opinions to himself, as taught so from young by his parents. On the outside, he appears to be a quiet, polite boy that all the neighbours call the “perfect child”. But on the inside, he yearns company and adventure, so he can tend to get overexcited over small discoveries. History: He grew up in a family with a pair of very wealthy parents. They reside in a villa just on the outskirts of Nut Town. His parents are usually not at home with him, resulting in the sad situation that he spent most of his childhood without them. In fact, it would seem that he would be closer to the family butler than his parents, since he grew up with the attendance of the family butler. His perfectionist personality stemmed from this perceived loneliness. He just wanted to do something as perfect as he can, just to impress his parents and have their attention for just that moment. On his 10th birthday, he just told his parents that he wanted to go on a Pokemon journey. At first, his parents rejected his idea, not even blinking an eye while saying no. He was devastated and stayed in his room the whole day, trying to cry his miseries away. Fortunately, the family butler intervened and expressed his views that Morty should be allowed to go for his journey, explaining that this journey can help him grow up and mature as a young teenager. His parents were convinced by the butler and decided to let Morty have a go at it. Morty was ecstatic when he heard the good news and rushed to hug the family butler. Thanking him for his great help. He was all ready, packed and ready to go on the very next day. His parents were not at home, as usual, and it was his family butler that saw him off, with tears in his eyes, just like a normal parent would. akiraa Name: Akira Inoue Age: 15 Gender: female Appearance: (x) Personality: mostly rp'd out, but in a sense I'd say, rather cheery, happy, and nice, but when angered, watch out, your in trouble, also when she is sad, she can easily become depressed. History: Akira's father died when she was only five, since then it has only been her and her mom, plus there pet Glameow, and Arcanine. Akira loved going for rides on Arcanine when she was young, her mom always watching her, there glameow sitting with her mom. Akira's mom never really liked Akira to go out alone, being her only child, and family left. That is also why it took so long for Akira to convince her mom to let her start her journey. She finally got it by not only being old enough, but explaining she would not be alone, she'd be with her pokemon, and that she had a Poketch, so she could talk to her often, and that she still had Arcanine and Glameow. stromzone Name: Zaak (like hawk) No last name Age: 13 Gender: Male Appearance: Blonde hair, blue eyes. Hair in a fohawk (tree sap used as hair gel). Muscular, but not huge. About five foot one. Wears any clothes he can find, as long as they are "boy" clothes. At the moment he is wearing shorts and a t-shirt. Personality: Loyal and kind, but very self reliant. Does not ask for help, but always offers to help others. He likes dragon pokemon, but has never really seen one, only heard about them. History: not much is known about his past, only that he has lived in the forest and taken care of himself as long as he can remember. He has faded memories of having parents, but believes they are just false visions. As he is 13 know, you may wonder why he didn't go get a pokemon before, and the answer was, he didn't feel like it. He never really wanted to leave the forest before, but was now bored and wanted to go do something else with his life. Like I said before, he loves dragon pokemon and is hoping to find at least one. RyuKaiser Name: Kaiser Age: 17 Gender: Male Appearance: About 1.80 mts tall, has pitch-black hair, red eyes, and a mean look that intimidates on sight. wears a dark red jacket always opened revealing a black t-shirt with a Dragon on it... always keeps his pokeballs on his belt. Sometime, if the sun bursts too hot, he wears a black and red cap. Personality: mostly with a serious look, is very confident and sometimes, even too confident about his pokemon's strength, but when he wants, its sort-of a joker that doesn't trust anyone but only after long time to know him/her, cares a lot of his pokemon and specially his dragon-types and hates to get them hurt... also hates losing and not always takes them(the loses) the good way... History: Kaiser is a Dragon freak, sort-of say, he didnt left his home to engage on his journey untill he was completely sure to know everything about pokemon, specially dragon types which were his favorites, and spend all this time(5-6 years) investigating everything he could on them, putting special attention to the Mytic Shiny Charizard he dreamt of having some day, he thought that he would be so happy having that Powerfull Dragon that he wouldnt care if he hasnt more pokemon, even if that was his only one... he also investigated about the different types of pokeballs and had figured out which ones where the best for each type of pokemon... he felt ready and thought he knew everything he has to.. but, his path shall prove him wrong... ziposaki Name: Austin Delarne Age: 12 Gender: Male Appearance: Is a sprite okay? Here. Personality: He is cold and unsocial, often wishing he could just hole up someone and do art all day. When he is doing anything art related, he'll tune people out. He won't abuse his pokemon, but you can't say he's friendly to them either. History: Growing up as the son of owner of a famous cruise ship line, Austin was exposed to many different regions and pokemon as a child and lived the ritzy, but oppressed life. He quickly grew accustomed to living on a ship and is perfectly comfortable in the water His parents always dreamed of him becoming a famous trainer, bringing more fame to the Delarne name. However, Austin's passion lied in art, something his is extremely good at. His parents didn't approve of this dream, and tore him away from art classes to attend classes for learning about pokemon, which he found boring and didn't pay attention to that much. He avoided going on his journey for as long as he could, but this year his luck ran out. As soon as the cruise reached the closest town with a laboratory (Nut Town), they dumped him of with just a bag with some supplies, his pencil and sketchpad, and some inks and paints that he shoved into the bag without his parents knowing. myahoo Name: Melissa Eversmith Age: 16 Gender: Female Appearance: She has warm, friendly brown eyes and dark brown hair, which she usually pulls up into a ponytail. On any given day, she will be wearing jeans and a shirt with elbow-length sleeves, along with a lopsided belt around her waist where she places her Pokeballs. Personality: She’s pretty friendly to most people and Pokemon, but she does like to keep to herself. She’s also more likely to trust a Pokemon before she trusts a person. Otherwise, she’s a laid-back, go-with-the-flow sort of person unless someone she cares for gets hurt; if that happens, she will remember who it was. History: Her parents ensured that she had a good education throughout her childhood and provided her with as much information as they could to prepare her for the journey that they were sure she would take. When she turned ten, they refused to let her go until she had finished her schooling, so she went through the archives and newspapers to see what type of Pokemon she might like to travel with. It was only when she turned sixteen that her parents felt she had enough of an education that, should being a Pokemon trainer not work out, Melissa could find a job outside of the Pokemon business. DragonGirl10188 Name: Casey Greenwood. Age: 10 Gender: Female. Appearance: Here. Personality: Casey is a basic stubborn tomboy. If you ask her to do something or give an answer to a question or hers she'll usually protest about it. She loves to battle and train despite the annoyance of seeing a wild pokemon every two steps, but loves to train pokemon. She doesn't do it for battles... well... maybe she does... but she doesn't hate her pokemon, she loves them. (I just used the word love too much...) History: Casey was raised in Unova and ventured into Broskii Region at her 10th birthday with her mother and father. There they bought a house near a lake and Casey would watch the water pokemon swim about. There'd she'd think she wasn't ready for a pokemon, but meeting the Professer made it even better. Posted September 16, 2011 (edited) Gym Leaders Tristan Greenwood City's Gym Leader, specializes in grass types and enjoys combining his pokemon's moves with the field. He is fairly new at being the leader since he just got the title a few months ago when one of the most experienced Gym Leaders of the region got promoted to the Elite Four. He is still adapting to the job but also works as Watch Tree's guard and the city's protector. Dylan Specializes in ground types. He specializes in attack and is part of his battle tactic. Posted September 16, 2011 (edited) NPCs Prof. Pine Broskii Region's Pokemon Professor. He gives you your first pokemon and the tools you'll need to begin your pokemon journey. He will also take care of your pokemon if you have more than six. Also can helps you with any doubt you might have about the region as he had lived here for quite some time Dante Broskii Region's Former Champion. Now resides in Pring Town and works as its protector. He helps young new trainers on their journey and helps them battle any possible threat if they need to. Walter Johnson Broskii Region's Contests Champion. He moves around the region as guest judge for the contests of some of te region's cities contest halls. Is also a good friend of Kenna one of the region's Gym Leaders Maria Runs a small Pokemon Clinin on Route 2. She helps injured wild pokemon and feed them. She also may send you on an errand to one of the towns/cities of the region since she is friend of most gym leaders Tom One of the trainer sent in his journey by Prof. Pine. As the some of you, he travels the Broskii Region in his attempt to become a great trainer. Is very cheerfull, but can sometimes be cranky if he doesn't like the situation Gale A misterious trainer who managed to scape the massive kidnapping and riot caused by Team Joker during their attack to Pring Town's Festival. What his goals are, is still a mistery, but he travels around the region as every other trainer. Is also very rare to find in the towns and cities. Greenwood Forest's Bug Catcher An obnoxious Bug Catcher. He resides in Greenwood Forest and challenges everybody he sees to a pokemon battle. He looses most of the time, but can give out some good items for you. Posted September 16, 2011 (edited) Team Joker Leader Pierrot Team Joker's lader. Manages the whole operation from their headquarters and has never been seen from other than the Five Jesters. His job is to organize the team's tasks in order to achieve their goals and for that, he has the help of the five best henchmen of Team Joker, the Five Jesters. The Five Jesters Zero Description to be made Slash One of the highest ranked Jesters of Team joker. He has a grudge on the former champion Dante. Part of his background links them together, but... what is it? Garnet Description to be made Flegias Slash's partner in most of the missions of the Jesters. He likes to tease Slash about his repeated loses against Dante only to get dared by him after. Besides that, is a very skilled pokemon trainer and enjoys to get challenged by strong opponents.
