Posted July 28, 2012 wow, this is so pretty... is anyone breeding just to have a cool lineage on someone's scroll? i'd love/a feww one of these on my scroll... no rosebuds though on my scroll >.< i'm willing to offer pretty much anything, if anyones interested in trading with me! also, thats a lot of dead tinsels.. i thought there were only x amount of tinsels out there, and they're rare starters, and no one wanted to kill them o.o can someone explain that to me? thank you guys Share this post Link to post

So no, there aren't just a limited number of tinsels. There are a limited number of CB tinsels, "original" tinsels, so to speak. But those aren't being killed. Some of the killed tinsels were messy lineages or inbred. Plus, once the tinsels are tombstones, and after their lineages disappear, there's no way to see if they are inbred, so in most cases the same tinsel was bred to both rosebuds on one scroll, so it looks like there were twice as many tinsels killed as actually were. Right now we're still trading among ourselves, that being the only way to get higher gens, so mostly we haven't been trading outside the group. But you may find someone who wants to. Good luck! Yes, we only use silver tinsels for this project. And yes, to be a member of this project you need to have at least one CB Rosebud. It's best if you have 2 CB Rosebuds, but just one will get you started. Share this post Link to post

Oh, I get it now. Thanks for taking time to explain! And I meant CB ones, but I didn't realize their lineages disappear after x amount of time of them being dead. I thought this was killing CB tinsels, haha. I was like o.o thats a lot of CB tinsels killed... Also, if there's anyone here willing to breed me two 3rd or 4th gens that arent related (or one person breed one, another breed a different one) I'd absolutely love that. Posted August 5, 2012 (edited) (bump) so this topic doesn't fall off the third page into obscurity. If you haven't heard the news, tinsels seem to not be breeding. Hopefully this will fix itself sometime in the future, at which time maybe we can continue the lineage. I will continue to try to breed, and report any successes here. I hope others will, too. Posted December 27, 2012 I finally got a silver tinsel and gave it to a friend as a starter. First breeding attempt was a couple of days ago. "Dragons refuse" (head-desk) If the second rosebud refuses, too, the starter magically transforms from a soon-to-be-dead starter into a nice gift. I keep breeding my pairs, hoping for the next generation, or a new starter. Ragingummybear, if you don't have any rosebuds, you won't be able to breed any rosebud-tombstones. Posted January 20, 2013 (edited) Well after months of no success.... FINALLY AN EGG!!!! I have this 4th gen egg. If anyone by chance wants it for a blood swap, shoot me a PM :3 IOUs are fine since these guys are breeding so poorly, and I'm happy to have any 3rd or 4th gen not related to it, this 3rd gen or this 4th gen. Posted January 23, 2013 Success! As a matter of fact, Success x 2! I bred 2 Rosebud Tombstone pairs, and got 2 eggs! ZOMG! This little cutie is a 4th gen. It's the first 4th gen of what will hopefully become my second 7th gen. It takes 8 4th gens for a 7th gen, so it's a ways away, but now that tinsels have picked up again, it should be doable. I also got a 7th gen that's a sibling to my first 7th gen. I'm giving it to Kiffren. So I'm again open for requests for 3rd gens on up. Check my scroll. There's a paper dragon that heads the Rosebud Tombstone clan, and all the silver tinsels after that paper dragon are Rosebud Tombstones. BIG SMILE on my face! Share this post Link to post

I'm still trying to recreate all my lineage projects. Once I finally get done with that then I still have to rename all the non-lineage dragons.
