Updated my breeding list; there's one spot left if someone wants to claim it.

 

Also, since it seems a lot of people here have seen the 50th anniversary special, I figured I'd ask: Since I just started watching Series 5 yesterday (only got through "The Beast Below"), would I be able to watch the special without spoilers/confusion?

If you looked at The Day of the Doctor you would definitely be confused. I recommend you look at the next 2 series first and then watch the 50th special.

 

You will definitely enjoy it more after having seen everything before

Yay, I *finally* managed to watch the 50th Anniversary episode, and will see it again in 3d in the movie theater tomorrow! Anyway, I wanted to grab a quote to put on my Hellhorse lineage, so here goes:

I'm not sure how many gens it'll take or exactly how I'll spread the naming, will figure that out this week ^.^ but I can't think of a more appropriate quote for this particular lineage, and am very excited to get underway with it!

It is very late at night (almost 3am!) so I will elaborate later BUT I wanted to claim a 50th ann quote as well. I'd like to claim the dialog between 11 and the curator of the museum at the end of the episode. I had so much squee that when we watched the re-air at 7:00, I still squeed and then forced my hubby to stop watching what he was watching at the end of the 3rd re-air just to see it a third time and continue the squee!

 

I will get the quote written out and breeds picked tomorrow when I've had some sleepies.

 

Edit: I'd like to do a 5th gen male fleshcrowne -- female grave/male grave -- female yellow crown first gen line and then do a male flesh/female yellow crown from that.

On a quick note, have the grey two-headed Lindwurms been taken yet? Cos I'd like to call dibbs on them for my next project. I have all CBs already so I could start breeding straight away. I need a new project as the only one I'm doing atm still needs a 2nd Thunder... waiting for one for months now. First half of the lineage is ready but for that elusive Thunder.

I'd like to do a quote from Vincent and the Doctor using dragons which host colors shared by Van Gogh's painting Starry Night. Blue Nebula (F) & Golden Wyvern (M) which would end in a 4th Gen (Checker lineage).

Given that Christmas is fast upon us, I wouldn't be starting this project until after!

 

Note: I would also like to do another quote from the Doctor, which is the Curator's speech at the end. I noticed that Binicorn's name is on the spreadsheet for that quote but:

 

1. I also noticed they've been inactive on the forums since July.

 

2. My quote includes the entire quote as spoken by Bill Nighy, as well as the Doctor asking him to describe in a hundred words beforehand.

 

This project would run me to 5th Gen with all the quoting, and I would use Brimstone and Seragamma Wyverns, not in any real pattern except to make the lineage look a little bit like a sunflower, like Van Gogh's painting.

 

Of course, if it's not allowed a place here in the project, I'll simply do it in my own free time and not make it some official lineage, as it's something I would like to attempt for my husband. I figured I would just check. I was looking forward to seeing what Binicorn had done with the quote, but it doesn't look like much of it was completed.

Well, I haven't been here for a very long time. A VERY long time indeed.

 

When I first joined I started breeding Sunstones with that quote when the 10th Doctor regenerates into 11th (too lazy to type it, it's long). I see now that Sunstones are already a taken breed, but since I got quite far in the breeding (only got three breedings left) I want to finish it. I'm not asking for the lineage to be a part of the project, but I just wanted to let you guys know. It's too late to add a new breed into the original lineage and to still look good. I could only start from a scratch with a completely new lineage, which I don't really want to do, I really like this one.

 

I hope you don't mind, but if you want to I will do a new lineage for that quote.

Where is everybody?

 

I know I haven't been active in the thread for a while, but my heart is still here, even if I'm not. I picked up a little Who coded egg and wanted to know if anyone here would like it. It's an inhatchable CB Red-finned Tidal, and if there is no interest, I'll keep it, but if you need a Who, shoot me a pm. <3

 

I'll hatch it in the morning, (about 9 hours) if no one wants it.

I think the holidays have slowed everyone down. I know they have me! But the kids are back to school on Tuesday and I plan to sit down and do a massive catch up session then and sort out and welcome properly all the new peeps (*waves to the new peeps* Tuesday I promise).
