One of my friends (she doesn't have a forum account) suggested that she hopes there will be a "buddies list" and between users on someone's list, we can gift freely.

I understand what you're saying, but I think that would just encourage more people to have multiple scrolls and "buddy" themselves...

 

A general question: how will we know when one of these features is "activated"? Will there be an announcement of some kind?

Can we get a badge that says "we saw the cave before the change" when all this is implemented?

I don't know if you mean badge, as in the badge that you have on scrolls, or banner, like the ones you put in your signature, but I made a banner for the heck of it .

As a new player I would be VERY unhappy with such a change. It is hard enough as it is to try and get hold of "goodies" - if eggs and hatchlings can be traded completely without restriction outside the AP, then newbies would have an even harder time "catching up"

Not really sure what you're asking, but the second post in this thread gives some good info on teleport.

I just now discovered this thread (haven't been on in a few days) and I am SO blown away! TJ, you are incredible, and anyone who claims you don't listen/care or whatever has been proven to be a dirty rotten liar

 

I can't wait for all these changes; it's exciting!
