*feels awkward for posting* You seem to be busy with your art thread and all, but could you do a traditional sketch of a steampunk girl? It doesn't have to be full body, but at half-body would be nice. Feel free to go absolutely crazy on it, since I don't have that many ideas myself (but can she have sprockets as hairpieces or something? Or be holding a pocket watch?)

Nah man, don't feel awkward! I love hearing from people. I don't want this thread to be full of me talking to myself.

Sure C: I'm not as busy with my old art thread as I should be. I have to decide which users are still here and do a triage of all my old requests before I can do any art, and I'm really burnt out on digital art because drawing/shading everything with a mouse is inefficient and time consuming.

For now, I'm procrastinating and doing a bunch of practice doodles. Drawing your steampunk girl will be a nice break from my awful meanderings through theoretical dragon physiology c:

Oh gosh, I'm so sorry for being this late! Belated side effects of certain meds I take have really hit me hard over the past few days, so I haven't been able to do much of anything. I have a WIP of your steampunk girl on my desk right now, but I want to clean it up/make sense of it before I throw it up here. Again, forgive me for my lateness D:

They don't look bad to me. The first one looks like it could make an interesting dragon, though.

Being self-deprecating is just.. how I do things, I guess. I don't mean anything by it, and usually when I say something is bad I mean "I did not put a lot effort into this so don't expect a lot".

The four-armed thing was initially supposed to be my figuring-stuff-out drawing of Marco, an alien character from Strata, but then I got distracted and it had a Spinosaurus head and bird feet so I gave up ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The idea could definitely be adapted into a DR concept! It's something I've had on my mind for a while (especially more "basal" dragons, how they evolved, what they would evolve from, etc.) though I'd have to do a lot of thinking and tinkering to make it a solid concept. If you or anyone else wants to take the idea and run with it, by all means do so c:

Started this yesterday as a sketch reference sort of deal for my sister's D&D character, and then she said I had to finish it. I haven't yet. I'm lazy and sick, and painting is hard.

Hi there, not sure if its something you feel up to doing, but I'd like something to use as a scroll link instead of just what I have now. I really like Okami, so maybe a Chibi version of Amaterasu with the basic mirror? I know theres a lot of images like it on Google but I would like to be unique. Let me know if its something you think you can manage, thanks!

Thanks for the ideas, guys! I'll work on your Okami thing when I fix my Sai files, but for now I won't be able to do much beyond some gross sketchy things. Sai is refusing to save anything right now, and it'll only export as .png

At least it doesn't crash horribly anymore, which gave me enough time to do this horrible fifteen minute painting.
