The 100

I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm totally obsessed with this show! For those of you who are interested, The 100 takes place in the future after Earth is decimated from nuclear war and the last remaining humans take to living on a space station to survive. When survival on the space station is threatened, a group of delinquents are sent down to earth to see if it is survivable.

It's awesome! Action packed, dramatic, and engaging. There is queer representation too! I highly recommend it to those who enjoy stuff like the Hunger Games, etc.

Season 3 just premiered last month. The first 2 seasons can be found on Netflix

 

I just watched the 3rd episode of season 3 and I am itching for the next episode!

I love The 100 so much! Got into it because of Clarke x Lexa spoilers on Netflix (and season 2 wasn't even up yet, lol, so I had to wait to see that!). It's one of the few shows I'm actually bothered by having to wait longer to see the new season. =(

I think I managed to get through the first series but then I kinda stopped watching (like everything else) and only caught glimpses so I really need to catch up.

I read the first book as well which was really good.

Sock, I've been able to find the first 3 episodes of the 3rd season online. Lots of stuff is happening omg. Just thinking about it gets me all excited and pumped. Next Thursday can't get here fast enough...

Yeah! The first book is The 100 which is quite short, then the next is Day 21, and then Homecoming. They were written by Kass morgan. I've only read the first one, but it was great.

I've heard that the books aren't the same, particularly past the first book/season.

I don't think Lexa's in the books, and Bellarke looked like it was basically the running ship through the series.

 

tbh i'm kinda holding out for a novelization of the series, since they're so different. Also I want more Clexa in my life. And it would be really funny to have a book inspire a TV show inspire a different book.

If a novelization came out I'd probably lose my mind.

 

Also Bellarke is cute, but they make better friends with a sibling-like relationship imo. Clarke seems to be more his sister than Octavia sometimes.

I'm at the end of season 1 right now. I'm so angry at the Grounders. They're blaming Clarke for the bomb on the bridge that hurt the little girl, but they were on the way to attack them. HOW DARE THEY DEFEND THEMSELVES?! Right. Ugh

Can someone tell me why the Mountain Men didn't just make peace with the people from the ark so they could do like one or two bone marrow transplants from each person?

I just picked this show up again. I'm watching season 3. I don't think it's the best quality show, but it's pretty enjoyable. It's starting to feel more and more like a YA version of Game of Thrones.  I do think maybe it's gotten a little complicated for its own good, but I'm still enjoying it. Does anyone want to chat about it?
