Sorry you are upset at the intros system. We require validation to weed out the dozens of spammers we consistently get registering here, and we limit viewing so it's easier for new users to find the section they need to post in for validation. So there is a purpose, not to annoy you. I believe you can see News while a guest, though, so I hope you didn't register because you thought you had to, as you certainly didn't!
