Posted April 19, 2017 Okay, first off, I'm new to the site and I don't really know all the functions. However, I do think a good idea would be to allow people to find a random lair/cave of another (online) user. I've seen this on another site that focuses on clicking/interactions, and it makes the site much easier to use and more interactive. Share this post Link to post
Posted April 19, 2017 The problem with this might be that some people don't want their dragons clicked, and the person randomly transported there might not know that. The person might not have known that they could hide their scroll, or not found it necessary. Share this post Link to post
Posted April 19, 2017 There are already fan-sites ("daycares") specialized in giving views. Clicks themselves help a bit, but they aren't that necessary for a dragon to hatch/grow. https://forums.dragcave.net/index.php?showforum=20 Share this post Link to post

I'm not sure that would be an issue if, say, the random scroll produced could only be one that is both not hidden and currently accepting aid. Share this post Link to post

If it was like this, then I would totally support it. I often like clicking random forum user's scrolls, just to see their dragons and naming schemes and stuff, but users who aren't on the forums don't really have a way to do that. Posted April 19, 2017 The original suggestion for this can be found here, for anyone interested: https://forums.dragcave.net/index.php?showtopic=144404 ~ I personally don't think I'd use a feature like this, so I don't really mind one way or another if it's implemented. Agreed on it being tied to something like scroll visibility if it is implemented. Share this post Link to post
Posted April 20, 2017 I think if this is added there should be a separate thing to enable/disable it. Keeping your scroll eternally hidden can be a royal pain, so hiding your scroll should not be the only way to prevent people from doing this. However, it doesn't make sense to tie it to accepting aid either. I wouldn't mind random people clicking on to my scroll and viewing my eggs, but I certainly don't want them adding my dragons anywhere, and accepting aid would invite them to do that. I wouldn't use it because of this; I don't want loads of views from some random user, and I don't accept aid, so - just no. Otherwise I'd have to go back to hiding all the time. I honestly cannot see the point. Share this post Link to post
Posted April 30, 2017 Some people don't like their dragons clicked, but you could add an option to be a part of the list. This idea has potential... Share this post Link to post
