I got a husband pillow, slippers, bottles of shampoo that are also body wash and bubble bath (scented like pepperment, another like cocoa, another like...fairy dance???), bath bombs, more bubble bath, and a cardigan.

For my niece, I knitted a pale pink scarf with an owl on each end. For my in-law parents, I drew a picture of my husband holding my son, the son being in a dinosaur costume and still a baby (referenced from a photo I took last year). For my husband, I gave a plastic model of a prehistoric fish with a hinged jaw. For my toddler, I gave a kitchen and a dump truck.

I misread your post at first and I thought the list of stuff at the top was what you got your husband xd.png I was thinking "that's a lot of feminine things to get him" Hahaha tongue.gif

That owl scarf sounds super cute!! And the present for your in-laws, so sweet <3

For my sister I got her a fan that can spray water at you when it's really hot, and her Nanna got her one too xd.png hahaha.

I also got her a book that didn't come yet. I thought it might come today (26th) but then I realised today is a public holiday.

I loved everything I got, but my two favorite gifts are a Corsair Strafe RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard with Cherry MX Brown switches (I REALLY needed a new keyboard, and this was the one I wanted), and a necklace my cousin made me that has a dopamine molecule as the charm (I suffer from severe depression, so it's a very personal and thoughtful gift) <3

The best gift I gave was sending a little girl in a third world country to school for a year in my mother's name (and it only costs $58, not to mention the charity is accredited by the BBB and a few other watchdog groups, so I feel that the money will actually go where it's supposed to). She cried when she read it along with the note I included.

My brother-in-law gave me a pizza cutter that looks like the USS Enterprise.

I like Star Trek and I like pizza. It's perfect. biggrin.gif

I got shoes. A pair of pretty rain boots and some adidas. I also wanted a Pokemon game. I'll take what I can get, though, so not complaining here. Oh, I forgot to add, my mom got me some work-out clothing. Unfortunately, the pants didn't fit (too low-rise) but greatly appreciated anyway.

Nah I got my spouse his favorite prehistoric fish. Dunkleosteus was huge for the time and had armor on its head that it used as teeth.

With two fans, she'll be all set if one gets lost or broken.

I know, this is way more specific than anyone cares about. I'm a very specific person, though, LOL. XD Feel free to skip my post, everyone! :D

My grandpa (since he and gma haven't been able to visit for the past few years) sent his ridiculous amount of money to each of us that I feel guilty taking. He's retired and they're on a fixed income. Plus he told my mom he was sending less money this year but then sent the same amount. D: I appreciate it, but I just hope they don't run themselves thin for us. He sent it with the wishes we use it for travel, so I think I'll do just that. I think I'll have to find something good for just me, as my sister and I don't want to do the same thing at all, and I don't really want to spend all my money on what she wants to do. </3

I got him one of those unlock puzzles to solve, where there's two - three metal pieces stuck together and you have to figure out how to get them apart and back together. He loves those and I found one he doesn't have. My grandma I got a pretty metal hummingbird decoration, as hummingbirds are her favorite (okay, I got it for free - someone got it for my roommate and she didn't want it).

My mom got me a Night Vale shirt I asked for ("Death is only the end if you assume the story is about you"), touchscreen gloves, sneaker balls, a multiport plug, a comforter and a reeeaaally cool octopus cover for it that I asked for last year (should also post a pic of it; the covers are made to order and really beautiful), a full set of matching towels, a new frother whisk for my hot chocolate maker (old one died), and of course some chocolate. Plus Ghostbusters! With the theater and extended version on it! I'm so excited. Aside from Star Wars, Ghostbusters was the best movie I've seen in a while.

I got my mom a candle, some scented wax melters, two pairs of mitten-gloves, some new headphones, and three new puzzles. My sister and I split getting her a wax pot along with wax and applicator sticks.

My mom's birthday is New Years, so I set aside another candle plus a beautiful turtle necklace I found for her birthday.

My sister recently went vegan and has been having trouble finding makeup and similar such products she can use, so she made a bunch of her own salve (relaxing, first aid, and bruise relief) and chapstick that she gave to all of us. They smell quite nice. o3o

My sister also made me beautiful mismatching earrings that I love, as well as a Night Vale scarf that I will have to post a picture of because it turned out AMAZING! I love it so much, and it's so warm. <3 Finally, she also got me a Pokemon shirt, some nice essential oils for my new oil heater, and some Night Vale keychains.

I got my sister some vegan solid lotion and chapstick from etsy, a nice cosmetic mirror with a magnifier on one side, a magnet that describes her life ("Sorry I missed church; I was too busy practicing witchcraft and becoming a lesbian"), cat slippers, a cat travel makeup bag, a laptop case with an elephant on it, some loose leaf tea to go with the teapot I got her for her birthday which has an infuser as a part of the teapot itself, some scented wax melters, some aromatherapy bath bombs, elephant pants and a tote from a company where the proceeds go towards protecting elephants and providing jobs to locals to keep them safe from poachers, a necklace with a crescent moon and small piece of cleaned but not polished amethyst on it, the gay pride flag, a pair of nail clippers with a little elephant cover, and an elephant tea light holder. Mom says I definitely went overboard, but whatever. I actually made quite a bit of money going to grad school. =o And I found some really good deals.

I got my dad a new wallet (he keeps all his receipts, so he can go through wallets pretty quickly) and some socks (he has terrible foot callouses and goes through socks super quickly).

My roommate got me a sweater from Peru (she recently went there with her brother and forgot to give it to me with my other souvenir when she came back), a hilarious workout shirt which has a little t-rex chasing and eating some deer, and - because we joked about getting one so much - a shewee, lmao.

I got my roommate a window shade for her car (she just got one and is headed to her new job in Houston in a few months) with big cat eyes on them as well as a pancake pan in the shape of a cat.

I haven't received my package from my best friend yet (but I think I told her to send it to the house-house, not my parent's-future-retirement-house, so it might be waiting for me when we get back), but she always finds really cool stuff for me.

I got her some of the same solid lotion bars I got my sister, a magnet that says "The only thing we have to fear is fear itself... and zombies", a Harry Potter print with a deer on it and the quote "The ones we love never really leave us", a recycled yoda bag, an adult coloring book of cupcakes, two cupcake candles (one tiny one and one banana nut muffin one from etsy that's huge, looks super realistic, and smells great), a donut candle, some mustache pajama pants, some mustache socks, a little cupcake eraser, cupcake liners with mustaches on them, some mustache candy, and a little cupcake post-it holder.

For all my gym friends plus all the instructors I enjoyed, I got them all these nice #workout bags and made them caramel-creme filled snickerdoodles and oreo truffles (plus a jolly rancher big candy). Some of the instructors also got amazon gift cards. One also got hairbands and one got touchscreen gloves (her gloves had holes in them, lol). One of my friend's I also got a good hairband for (she just cut her hair and was having trouble finding a hairband to work with her thick hair) and a pina colada candle. One of my friend's got me a little surprise Pusheen ornament (I got the cute one with Pusheen coming out of the gift bag).

Need your ideas what to present to my father. He is interested in fishing, hunting, but it looks like he has all possible facilities for it.

When in doubt, ask! Not all presents have to be a surprise.

Off the top of my head:

- A nice new hat to keep warm while sitting there waiting while hunting or perhaps some nice, thick socks

- A nice thermos

- An offer to go fishing (or hunting) with him sometime soon

- New boots for either activity

- New fishing hat to keep the sun out of his eyes

- Maybe a nice foldable/travel chair if he does fishing sitting on the side of a river

I also found this list, if it helps.

If your dad is a treestand hunter, supplies to make treestands more comfy are always good.

As far as fishing goes, you can't go wrong with consumable supplies like bait - they're inexpensive and your dad will likely appreciate them.
  • Spawn Bait (I fished with this as a kid)
  • Biodegradable Trout Bait (if your dad is environmentally conscious)
  • Fake Crawlers, Yum
  • Also, hot dogs. They make good fishbait, trust me.
  • Fishing line in your dad's preferred weight - fishers go through a lot of line.

I got a pair of woodland skis, a red anorak, a set of different tea blends, and thermal underwear. happy.gif

I got my sister a makeup set she's wanted for a long time but haven't been able to afford, and a good pair of skiing socks.

My mother got sheep's wool slippers and a plush perch fish, because she's wanted one of those fishes (she's got a personal story involving perch fish) but they've stopped producing them, so she was very glad I found one of the last for her.

My dad got a wool balaclava hood, a set of ice picks and a box of chewing resin.

I've got a dad like that, and the worst is that he's got everything and you're never sure exactly what he's already got. >_<

I get most of my ideas for him by just going browsing in outdoors stores and finding some nifty thing I hadn't even considered.

I think one of the better gifts I found for him as been a portable power bank charger. Y'know, one of those you charge while at home and then bring along for the tour, so that if your phone or other electronics run out of battery, you can just charge it with the portable battery right out there in the wild.

Another idea is some kind of safety equipment. This year I got my dad a pair of ice picks, which you use as demonstrated in

I also plan to get him a proper rescue line for his birthday, which is coming up soon.

Some stuff I got:

-The complete collection of all of Edgar Allen Poe's work (I love Poe <3) from my friend

- A bunch of Pop Vinyls (Bellatrix Lestrange, Alex from OITNB (the only one i was missing from the oitnb wave) and The Red Queen and Cheshire Cat) from another friend.

- a pair of awesome fur lined biker boots from my mother, which i absolutely adore because omg so comfy!

- a huge hamper of Kalev chocolate from my cousin. (since I no longer permanently reside in Estonia, I can't get Kalev chocolate as often, so that was really appreciated, as were all my other gifts)

-a super awesome pretty deer skull necklace from my fiance, as well as a giant fox plushie <3

Stuff I gave:

- some new thunder trucks and some custom griptape for the friend who got me the pop vinyls, because he said he needed new trucks and grip.

- a guitar shaped cd rack for my other friend (who got me the poe collection) because the fact all her cd's being on the floor annoyed me.

- a new, warm, padded coat for my mum, since she's had the same one for a long time and some furry gloves for the winter.

-my cousin was hard to buy for so i eventually just got him some cool clothes

- a box of the Harry Potter candies for my cousin's little girl who I've turned into a potterhead biggrin.gif

- a necklace for my fiance from alchemy gothic, it has 2 ravens around a heart, and it says "salutis aeternae" or "eternal salvation", I chose it because of the meaning of salvation and "salvage" as no harm coming to something, no harm coming between us, sort of thing, I also got her a bat plush that is currently hanging from the curtain pole. xd.png

I loved all of my presents, and as far as I know, the recipents of my gifts appreciated them as well. happy.gif
