ANSWERED:Display "public" or "private" on Groups list page

Recommended Posts

I would like to be able to see which of my groups are public and which are private without clicking/editing them.

Maybe a lock icon for private and an eye for public (but not the ugly colored ones I have in my image tongue.gif ), or just the words "public" or "private" in an additional column.

That would be handy.

So that i can click directly on a group that i want to link for example to a breeding project or that i woul like to link to a person with whom i am haggling about a trade.

I support this. I haven't used the groups yet (and I may not ever use them), but this is reasonable and adds functionality.

Right now I have mine all set to private because they are sort of a work in progress, but I can see how this would be helpful if you have some of each. Eventually at least some of mine will go public.

I don't use groups myself, but I can definitely see how this can be useful for users who do make use of them.

I might use this function to organize my own dragons in the future, so I definitely support smile.gif

Since you can't link others to private groups apparently, I would LOVE to know which ones were public and which were private at a glance.

So I wholeheartedly support this. smile.gif

Whoa, either I'm hallucinating, or this was just implemented! blink.giflaugh.gif

Thank you TJ! biggrin.gif

He did implement it! smile.gif THANK YOU that was fast! biggrin.gif

Unfortunately the visual difference between the words public and private are so slight that I have to look closer to make sure I'm actually reading it right. They both start with P and are similar lengths, only slight differences.

I'm sure I can learn to deal but I think it was something that was good to say in any case. smile.gif
