Looking for a magical unicorn egg site from 1990s

Recommended Posts

I'm in search of a site I used to frequent that has since gone offline. I thought this would be a good place to see if anyone remembers it. It was a unicorn hatching site of sorts, which was online during the late 90s.

It had a dark background and very nice pictures of unicorns and other magical creatures. The main page had an embedded midi of Enya's "Bard Dance" playing on loop which you could mute if you liked. Throughout the site were hidden hyperlinks, which if you found them would take you to a secret page where unicorn eggs were found. These would eventually grow into unicorns.

It was like a story in which you read different pages on your journey. For example, "You walk through a small copse of trees and find yourself in a wooded glade near a waterfall..." etc. Then you could click on some choices like "sit down in the glade" or "continue through the trees". There might be a secret hidden link so that you could go behind the waterfall. Depending on where you went in this magical world, unicorns would come visit you or you could find their eggs.

I have vivid memories of this wonderful website but I cannot recall the name. Does anyone else remember it? I would very much like to see it again. Thank you so much for any assistance.

Blessings,

Rain

There's something called the Valley of the Unicorns that's online. Not sure if it's what you're looking for

I remember that site! I don't remember what it was called, though... I'll try to do some research and see if I can find anything.
