Hatched-Egg Contest 8

Ever dreamed of creating your very own dragon egg? Well then, here's your chance!

 

For this contest, you will be given a theme and have to create a unique dragon egg that adheres to that theme. Each artist will be given two weeks to create their egg and then post it here to be voted on.

 

This contest ends 1/16/15. It may be extended if not enough eggs are submitted. Extended to 2/21/15

 

Rules:

1. Each user may only submit ONE egg design per contest, no exceptions.

2. Eggs must use the standard egg format for DC.

3. Eggs must be your original design, no copying! Those who copy eggs will be disqualified and will not have a chance to participate in the poll.

4. Artists will have 2 weeks to complete their designs and submit them. There will then be a poll to determine the winner.

5. Be creative, and have fun!

 

The theme for this contest is:

Movies. You could make a camera egg, a character, or maybe even a movie logo. Let your imagination run wild.

 

Prizes:

The winner may ask for any egg to be bred off my scroll and given to them. They also get to host the next contest. They can, however, ask for the prizes to go to the second place winner if they do not wish to have the prizes.

I keep forgetting to make a post here. I have an egg that's about 50% done. I'll edit this post when I'm finished. Well, I guess it's as done as it'll ever be. Not exactly accurate, but meh. I'm done messing with it.

I've never sprited anything, but I'm gonna go ahead and give it a try now. Hopefully I can make something resembling an egg by the 21st.

It's an attempt at the head of Gypsy Danger from the movie Pacific Rim. Again, it's my first time actually spriting something so it looks pretty bad.

Wow, that is a great egg. The movie is kinda sad for me though... (not sure why)

All these eggs look great! This was my first time spriting, so I need to work on shading and texturing.
