What's a Legendary?

Legendaries is what mortals call them. They are the beings that created the world, shaped it and crafted the mold that makes it what it is today. However, most people take the legendaries for granted. They don’t respect the legendaries as they used to and some even think legendaries don’t exist! Most legendaries don’t mind and carry out doing what they were made to do. However, not everyone is content. Suicune, one of the three legendary beasts created by Ho-Oh, purifies the waters of the world and makes sure everyone has drinkable water. However, lately he has been neglecting his task. He feels as though he has been taken advantage of. Mortals no longer respect him as they should and this angers him. Why should he help them when they don’t even respect him? In short, he thinks they don’t deserve his help and, in fact, he should make them respect him.

Suicune has decided to poison all of the major water sources in the world. He has mastered a new form of toxin that only he, and a few select others, can cure. He is using this toxin to poison the water in the world in a form of vengeance. Once mortals see how important he is, they will learn to fear him and will respect him once more. It is up the other legendaries to deal with Suicune’s wrath. Will you join him in his pursuit of former glory or will you stop him in the name of all that is good? The choice is up to you. How will fate tempt you?

Rules:

- My word is law. Whatever the mods and I say goes when it comes to the more technically parts of this thread. You respect us and we respect you. There is no need to act like small children who just got caught sticking their hand in the cookie jar.

- No one-liners, strive for a paragraph a post at the minimum.

- Use proper grammar when posting. Y'all should know to capitalize your I's and to never start a sentence with a lowercase.

- One shiny per person

- If at any given point you are to leave for a long period of time or wish to quit, please, please inform us! It'll help everyone in the long run. We will be able to end interactions that would leave people in limbo otherwise or we can see to it that someone reliable takes over your characters for the meantime.

Frequently Asked Questions:

More questions and answers will be added if it is needed.

Q:

Why does the subtitle say this is a reboot?

A:

Because it is exactly that, a reboot of a different thread. The original thread died and a few of the members, including myself, wanted to revive it. Instead of going through the trouble of trying to spark old interactions, we decided to start an entirely new thread with a stronger plot and experience backing us up.

Q:

I can play as legendary pokemon?

A:

Yes, but you can only play as a legendary pokemon. You see, this story is about changing the world and, let's face it, a group of beings that are considered god-like are probably going to play a bigger role than a bunch of ten-year old children from some small town in the middle of nowhere. In the first version of this story, we allowed people to play other pokemon as well but that only made everything complicated in a bad way. You can take any legendary you like asides from Arceus and already taken legendaries.

Q:

Can I play as a shiny?

A:

Yes, but you need a reason for it. If you can give a reason beyond, "I like this coloring better than the original," or, "Being shiny is cool," I'll probably allow you to make your legendary shiny.

Q:

Why are there character sheets?

A:

There are character sheets because of complications in the original thread. Before, you could simply request to play as a certain character and be off on your way. We allowed absolutely everyone to join without a bat of the eye and that turned out to be a poor choice. Mistakes happened, people who didn't care about others joined and chaos ensued. To make sure that situation doesn't happen again, we're requiring character sheets to make sure the people who are joining are actually going to put some effort forth. In addition to that, major things such as moves, abilities, allies, rivals, nickname, and personality are open for everyone to see.

Q:

Is there a character limit?

A:

No, but we don't want people taking ten characters only to post every other week. Some people aren't prepared to handle too many characters and since there is a limit on how many characters can be made, we don't want someone hogging a bunch of them. That being said, if you can juggle seven characters all the while handling the different sub-plots there in and make them interesting and likable at the same time, by all means grab a bunch of characters.

Q:

Do I have to strictly follow the lore relating to a pokemon I want to use when it comes to general backstory and personality or can I just skip that all together??

A:

When you take a character, it is expected of you to know their general lore and placement within the history of pokemon. If you are one of those people who cannot and will not take the time to do some research, then you might want to think about not joining this. You only need to know the bare basics when it comes to lore, but a little more won't hurt. Your character's backstory is heavily affect by lore, but the personality is more open. A character's personality can be anything you want, but it would be nice to see a little touch of lore within their personality.

Q:

Can I reserve this character?

A:

Yes, you may reserve a character, but the reservation only stands for three days unless you show a character sheet. If there is no hint of a sheet within three days, the reserve gets removed and someone else can nab the character. (If a character is in a sub-plot, the time limit does not apply to them.)

Q:

Is the universe based on the games, anime, comic books, and or movies?

A:

Primarily, the games, however, the movies and anime are somewhat present. Everything that happened in the games has happened in this story. To be more specific, we are riding this story on Universe C, if you know what means. Events that have happened in the movies may be present in this story if you wish to point them out, otherwise you can just ignore them. Specific places that appeared in the anime, such as the Orange Islands, are also present in this story. If you're having trouble understanding how a certain move is supposed to look, you won't be yelled at for looking at the anime for reference. Long story short, we are going off the games with events in the movies being present, but not necessarily required to be present, and with a few anime references in the form of certain areas that did not appear in the games and in moves' appearances.

Q:

Why is Arceus an NPC?

A:

Because Arceus has a set personality that explains why they don't just stop Suicune and all of the other catastrophic events that are occurring. That and letting someone play god isn't really fair to everyone else.

Q:

Is romance allowed?

A:

Yes, butt-touching is allowed.

Q:

Is mega evolution and primal reversion present?

A:

Yes, if your character can mega evolve than they are allowed to so provided they have said stone as their held item. Mega evolution drains energy however, and the forme cannot persist for a length of time.

Q:

Can my character(s) learn TMs and HMs?

A:

Yes, they most certainly can. Feel free to have an all TM moveset if you so desire, just remember that finding TMs in the RP isn't going to be so easy, so add them at the start!

Q:

I came back after a long period of time and someone else has taken my characters! What's going on?

A:

If you leave the RP for, say, a month and do not notify anyone about it, your characters may be given away. There is a limited amount of characters and sometimes the story demands that certain characters are posted for. If you are not there to post and a character needs to do something, we will go ahead and make a post for you. That being said, you can reclaim your characters, but do understand that the story must go on.

Doctortear's Bros

Username: Doctortear

Gender: Female

Species: Darkrai

Appearance: user posted image

Personality: One might think that the creature labeled as “the nightmare pokemon” would be cold and brooding. Several millenniums ago, this would of been exactly the case, however, as time has gone by, Darkrai’s personality has changed drastically. Her agitated and somewhat malicious nature has been transformed into a lighter more brazen quality with the same underline of dark humor that she has always had a taste for. Anyone who has seen Darkrai firsthand can confirm that she is absolutely nothing like the legends depict. She is highly sarcastic and seems to take everything in stride. She is rarely serious and will often use humor as a crutch. Oddly enough, Darkrai is rather patient. She understands the necessity of waiting for the right moment to strike. Flirting is a hobby of Darkrai; she is not afraid to flirt with everyone and everything in sight. Though she is not afraid to find comfort in others, both mentally and physically, Darkrai is not good with commitment. She is used to short love affairs that last only a day or to, not a fully committed relationship. Convincing her to stay in a single relationship is just as hard as convincing her to stay on Newmoon Island, the place where Cresselia tries to hound her into or, in Darkrai’s terms, her own personal prison.

Making others uncomfortable is one of Darkrai’s favorite pastimes. She will do anything from flirting to asking about one’s greatest fears to make her companions squirm even in the slightest. Despite how nonchalant she may seem on the outside, Darkrai has a plagued mind. Being seen as a monster by most doesn’t exactly help her mental health. She covers up sinister thoughts with layers of sarcasm, only showing her inner thoughts through occasional dark humor. Despite that, Darkrai isn’t an inherently cruel person, nor is she a naturally kind person. She can be swayed to both do good and harm, but she does not place herself on one side or another if the choice is up to her. She prefers to stay neutral in most matters and, in most cases, would prefer flight over fight.

Ability: Bad Dreams

Moves:

- Dark Void

- Disable

- Dark Pulse

- Haze

Held Item: Enigma Berry

Allies: Literally nobody

Rivals: Cresselia, everyone else, pants

Other: Fairy types make Darkrai uneasy and she generally tends to stay away from those who are a fairy type or use fairy type moves. To many people’s surprise, she also has quite the singing voice. Her text color is #65000B.

Username: Doctortear

Nickname: Nowi

Gender: Female

Species: Mew

Appearance: user posted image

Personality: For being one of the oldest beings on the planet, Nowi tends to act rather childish. She loves nothing more than to play games with just about anyone. She cares immensely about enjoying herself in the present and bears little interest for the future events to come and the events that occurred in the past. Nowi is highly impulsive and will charge into a situation blindly if she so desires. She is kind at first glance and is courteous to strangers with a willingness to help anyone if she deems the cause just. The harshest thing she will seemingly do is make frowny faces when she’s upset. Nowi’s friendliness only grows once you get to know her and it seems as though she only gets more and more generous and compassionate the more you know how.

However, Nowi does not stay cordial in all cases. She does not possess the naivety that most exceedingly amiable people do and is, in fact, quite manipulative herself. Being one of the oldest creatures on the planet, Nowi knows how most people work and therefore knows where to push and pull in order to get people to do certain things. She does not necessarily go out of her way to harm others, but she is not ignorant to the horrors of the world and understands when people intend to cause havoc. Nowi, oddly enough, bears great wisdom and will often offer words of caution to those she fears do not have their minds in the right places. As astute Nowi truly is, such a side of her is concealed to most by her whimsical nature and shown only to those who desperately need guidance.

Ability: Synchronize

Moves:

- Transform

- Nasty Plot

- Aura Sphere

- Psychic

Held Item: Mewtwonite X

Allies: Nobody in particular, but she is on good terms with most

Rivals: Even if she had any, she wouldn’t consider them as such

Other: Nowi possess the ability to transform into any being she has seen before, however, she may not use the moves of said being unless she can see them physically in front of her. The mega stone she has is placed within a stolen bracer on her neck. Her text color is hot pink.

Username: Doctortear

Gender: Male

Species: Reshiram

Appearance: user posted image

Personality: Childish is too harsh of a term to describe Reshiram but, at the same time, mature is far from correct. Reshiram’s demeanor parallels that of a curious baby animal. He tends to poke his nose into everyone else’s affairs with no fear of repercussions for such behavior. Should it seem that his investigations will cause him harm, Reshiram will flee from the situation and pretend that he was not involved whatsoever. He is extremely blunt and cannot understand how being honest would harm someone’s feelings. He both looks and acts as though he has nothing to hide; if one did not know of his past actions, he would appear completely innocuous. His naivety is not a ploy like most would think. He truly is as unpretentious as he seems.

Just as the legends foretell, Reshiram is a Keeper of Truth and values honesty above all else. He rarely lies and expects everyone to be just as truthful as he is. As such, when Reshiram discovers that he has been deceived, he becomes furious. He loathes mendacious people and will be intentionally rude and cruel to those he deems as such. Reshiram scoffs at idealists and finds comfort in those who deal only with facts. Insults and demeaning curses, oddly enough, sink right into his mind (though he does somewhat appreciate the comments if they are truthful). The slightest remark can make him feel insecure for weeks. Reshiram expresses himself rather profoundly through his body and can read other people’s body language quite well. He is a rather physical being and prefers comfort through cuddling rather than gentle words. He has a preference for warm areas and distastes the cold.

Ability: Turboblaze

Moves:

- Blue Flare

- Dragon Pulse

- Extrasensory

- Earth Power

Held Item: N/A

Allies: Zekrom, Kyurem

Rivals: Zekrom, Kyurem

Other: If Reshiram doesn’t groom himself daily, his fur gets out of control and fluffs out. His text color is dark salmon.

Username: Doctortear

Gender: Nope

Species: Deoxys

Appearance: user posted image / user posted image / user posted image / user posted image

Personality: Being an invader from space, Deoxys is somewhat of a lone wolf. They don't have any particularly strong bonds with anyone being and few have attempted to confine in the them. To them, the world is, as the saying goes, "a puzzle wrapped in a mystery inside of an enigma." The world is a conundrum and the inhabitants are just as of a riddle as the planet they inhabit. In contrast, Deoxys may seem extraordinarily idiosyncratic in a, in most views, bad light. Everything from the way they move to their speech patterns, how they assess a situation, and even, to some extent, the way they look appears alien to almost all who look upon them.

Different, however, does not necessarily mean something is wrong. Deoxys is exceedingly intelligent, more so than most realize. They are a curious being but not to the extent that they would throw themselves into danger intentionally just to gain a morsel of knowledge. They do, however, wish to learn just about everything they can about the world and often prefer to stay in their speed forme so they can do such at a faster pace. Their ignorance of the world adds wonderfully to their sense of humor. Comedy is what has stuck most into Deoxys's mind as they often find themselves in situations that others would find humorous. They are highly aware of emotions and just how said emotions can affect a way someone behaves. Though Deoxys themself does not feel emotions as vividly as others, they understand to some degree just how powerful emotions are. They present their best effort when it comes to trying to make those around them content, but they are not always successful. As they are impressionable, Deoxys can be swayed to do one thing or another, however, they are not easy to keep under control if the intentions of the persuader are malicious. Deoxys's intellect along with their desire to make others at ease will always triumph in the end.

Ability: Pressure

Moves:

- Psycho Boost

- Recover

- Extremespeed

- Psychic

Held Item: N/A

Allies: Ho-Oh, their only friend

Rivals: Nothing set in stone (but they do clash with Rayquaza every once in a while)

Other: Much like the virus they mutated from, Deoxys can regenerate any part of their body that has been removed. In addition, Deoxys has general psychokinetic powers along with their whatever moves they have. Their text color is steel blue.

Username: Doctortear

Gender: Female

Species: Heatran

Appearance: user posted image

Personality: Fierce as an erupting volcano, Heatran is a ferocious being who is relentless in her endeavors to protect her volcano, the inhabitants within it, and the Magma Stone set within it. She is completely dauntless and willing to take any challenge without a bat of an eye. She enjoys the thrill of a fight, so much so that at times she actively looks for a reason to begin combat with another. That said, Heatran prefers friendly sparring far more than meeting someone seriously in battle. Scars maiming Heatran's body are a good reminder that she is a beast upon the battlefield and she has most likely defeated more foes than most have fought within their entire lives.

Though not hot-headed, Heatran will not tolerate transgression within her domain and is quick to set judgement upon those who get on her bad side. She is somewhat territorial and is quick to question other legendaries who come to her onto her turf, but she is not inclined to necessarily be hostile towards them. Heatran is somewhat honor-bound and has zero tolerance who tricksters and those who use deceptive tactics. As vicious as she seems, Heatran does, to her disgust, have a much softer side. The battle-worn warrior can become a sweet old lady when in the presence of children with whom she seems to have a knack for taking care of. Her hardened nature turns mellow and she will be nothing but pleasant to younger folk. Heatran sees her courtesy to those far younger than her as a weakness and actively tries hide her feelings upon the matter.

Ability: Flash Fire

Moves:

- Magma Storm

- Earth Power

- Flash Cannon

- Dragon Pulse

Held Item: N/A

Allies: A distant allegiance with Groudon and Moltres for sharing the same realm

Rivals: A distant rivalry with Groudon for sharing the same realm and a distaste for Moltres for being actively aggressive towards humans

Other: Legends tell that Heatran's intense desire to protect her precious Magma Stone is not without reason. The Magma Stone is a source of power, if someone had it in their possession, they could bend Heatran to their whim, provided they best in her combat first. If she were to find the stone missing, she'd go on an rampage, leaving destruction in her wake. Her text color is dark orange.

Fractional Pi Day's Nerds

Username: Fractional Pi Day

Gender: Agender/vaguely feminine

Species: Kyurem

Appearance: user posted image

Personality: Kyurem is unimaginably ancient and, quite frankly, bored with the universe. Everything cycles endlessly between life and death, light and dark, ideals and truth, and after millennia of this they’ve decided that the world is fundamentally incapable of accomplishing anything else. The only things that change from day to day are the specifics of the cycles, and Kyurem considers themselves far above those insignificant details.

Their response to the inevitable and depressing nature of fate was to not take any of it seriously and treat every problem with the same fond (if slightly morbid) amusement. They decide what course of action to take purely based on what would cause the most amusing results and generally treat the entire world like their own personal toy set.

Their “pet project” is the end of the largest cycle of all: the world itself. There’s nothing anyone can do to stop it when it’s time for it to happen, and so Kyurem has made it their mission to survive until then - and then make sure it’s as spectacular as physically possible.

Ability: Pressure/Turboblaze/Teravolt

Moves:

Normal forme: Glaciate/Scary Face/Outrage/Hyper Voice

White Kyurem: Ice Burn/Fusion Flare/Outrage/Hyper Voice

Black Kyurem: Freeze Shock/Fusion Bolt/Outrage/Hyper Voice

Held Item: N/A

Allies: Reshiram, Zekrom

Rivals: Reshiram, Zekrom

Other: As in the movies, Kyurem can switch between formes at will.

Username: Fractional Pi Day

Gender: Female

Species: Cresselia

Appearance: user posted image

Personality: From a distance, Cresselia seems to be exactly as the myths describe: elegant, efficient, and never more than two steps behind Darkrai’s plague of nightmares. The perfect goddess, if oddly distant at times to those she rescues. However, once one gets closer, her disdain for the entire universe is obvious in every word she speaks. She only begrudgingly respects her fellow legendary Pokemon, and everyone else is either scum or entirely below her notice. The only person she could be said to like is Arceus, and her unwavering loyalty to them is the only reason she is still dealing with mortals at all.

The narcissistic shell she has built up is as much for herself as it is for the rest of the world. She is terrified by the idea that she might not be as collected as she pretends to be and does everything in her power to avoid facing the truth. Her dismissive attitude toward others’ accomplishments, her tendency to keep her distance from everyone, and the way she throws herself into her work are all attempts to avoid introspection and her mood largely hinges on how successful she is at it that particular day.

Ability: Levitate

Moves: Lunar Dance/Moonblast/Ice Beam/Slash

Held Item: N/A

Allies: She tends to subconsciously distance herself from basically everyone

Rivals: Darkrai

Username: shadow_claw

Gender: Leans towards male

Species: Mewtwo

Appearance: user posted image / user posted image

Personality: Mewtwo has always been a bit...disgruntled. For good reason, but still disgruntled. Having grown up in a lab, he has developed a spiteful demeanor to all of humanity. All of it. He dislikes other pokemon, but the feeling is usually mutual. Being an unnatural freak of nature, nobody likes to stay near him. Apparently word spreads fast after one destroys a lab and kills everyone inside. After his long period of rage, Mewtwo now is silent and seclusive. His adolescent hatred of the world has fizzled out to be replaced with mere...dissatisfaction.

lives in whatever cave he sees (as long as it’s unoccupied)

has a ton of caves he dwells in because dens involve making things and he can’t do that

hates social interactions btw just don’t talk to him

Held Item: Mewtwonite Y

Username: shadow_claw

Gender: Male preferred

Species: Entei

Appearance: user posted image

Personality: Although he was originally known as the wrathful beast of the trio, Entei’s ferocious demeanor has quelled over time. The leonine creature has settled to become the mellowest of all three of them. He is slow to anger and has made a point of this. His anger could kill many, after all. Patient and wise, Entei spends most of his days travelling the regions.

He has problems controlling his fiery powers and is terrified of the destruction he can cause,

Claims to be pacifistic due to this fear

Because he can’t control his powers well, he’s forced to travel the world in order to keep destruction at a minimal

Ability: Flash Fire

Moves: Eruption, Fire Fang, Extrasensory, Lava Plume

Held Item: Charcoal

Allies: Ho-Oh, Raikou, Suicune. He’s neutral with everyone else.

Rivals: Suicune, Raikou

Gender: Seems to prefer being regarded as male

Species: Rayquaza

Personality: The sky dragon is a vigilant officer of order, and not much else. He’s strict, orderly, and ever watchful over his domain of the sky. With the recent return of Kyogre and Groudon, his patrol over the heavens has only tightened. Despite this, he holds an almost fatherly regard over the two quarreling legends. His regards to others are...diplomatic at best.

if he ever comes out of the sky, there’s a problem

basically if you’re not Kyogre or Groudon he’s really awkward with you

apparently living forever in the sky makes you totally socially inept

Ability: Air Lock, Delta Stream (mega)

Species: Xerneas

Appearance: user posted image

Personality: Although she is the being of life, Xerneas doesn’t instill the values she inspires in many. She is a hard headed, arrogant creature with little regard for others. Her job, what she was created for, is considered not much more than an irritation. Why should she heal and nurture others if she doesn’t have to? Her dislike for others wasn’t originally so, however. Her powers, which give her the ability of granting eternal life, had many seek her out. This pressure has made Xerneas far more misanthropic than she should be. Despite all this, the fairy type is far more childish than she likely should be. Her time is often spent wandering throughout Kalos and provoking Yveltal. She finds their “rivalry” more of a game than anything. This is clear in how she treats the being of death. Xerneas, if anything, regards both Zygarde and Yveltal as siblings or friends.

Ability: Fairy aura

Moves: Heal pulse, Moonblast, Aurora beam, Take down

Held Item: Heal Bell

Allies: Yveltal, Diancie, Zygarde

Rivals: Yveltal

Other: Her text color is cornflower blue

Pudding’s Pals

Username: pudding

Gender: Male

Species: Suicune

Appearance: user posted image

Personality: At one time, Suicune was much nicer. However, this friendly attitude he once showed to the pokemon he met on his journey has since faded, having been washed away by the floods of madness. The leftover scraps of his former views on life have led him to be extraordinarily bitter with a dry sense of humor and a combination of  defeatist and fatalist viewpoint on the world. More specifically, he feels that, other pokemon should simply accept his will in trying to poison water supplies without struggle since it is his own jurisdiction. While he is still bitter towards other pokemon for not appreciating his gift of purity, he dislikes the idea of simply going out and killing as many as he can find. Instead, he prefers the ironic path; sparing other pokemon from being killed, only to have them slowly die by his own pollutions. This means that unless his quest is directly opposed, he is rather peaceful and just ignores pokemon instead of lashing out at them.

Suicune's pride over the years has built up to monstrous proportions. Viewing himself and other legendaries as gods made to be worshiped, he justifies his cause with extreme self-righteousness and stubbornness. Since he has not received the praise he thinks he deserves, he tends to talk down to non-legendary pokemon and puts the blame of his actions on them not appreciating him. Quite set in his ways, he refuses to even consider breaking his quest to contaminate the waters of the world or even think for a moment that anything he does is his own fault. Because his task is dangerous due to the sheer amount of other legendaries that can get in the way, he has opted for a much more civil approach (Ironic, all things considered). Instead of simply attacking other legendaries, he is in the midst of attempting to convince as many as he can to join him in asserting dominance over lesser creatures and help him fight against legendaries that do not join him.

Ability: Water Absorb (This is technically an unobtainable ability in game at this point since it is a hidden ability but since it is an ability Suicune could learn if they ever release it in event, I'd like to use it)

Moves:

-Toxic

-Scald

-Ice Beam

-Snarl

Held Item: None

Allies: Ho-Oh, Entei, Raikou

Rivals: Probably the entire world

Other: In his home region of Johto, he has already contaminated parts of the forest above Ecruteak City where he dwells. This area is largely dead, save for the cave in which he makes his home. Inside this area is a body of freshwater that he keeps deliberately pure.

Gender: Male

Species: Jirachi

Appearance: user posted image

Personality: Jirachi is not the most stable of creatures. Being awake for only a week every thousand years means that he hasn't aged all that much compared to other creatures, giving him a limited scope on life. However, the times he has been awake were not exactly peaceful and the abuse he has gone through by having people try to have their wishes granted has thoroughly left their mark on him to the point where he no longer desires, if not fears, returning to his slumber or making himself known to the world. This fear of others trying to use his wishes has led him to deny sleeping and instead hole himself up, isolating himself from all and trusting none.

As one can imagine, he approaches situations with far too much caution and has difficulty dealing with people in close situations. He's easy to scare and cannot stand other pokemon coming close or touching him. He is especially skittish around creatures much larger than he is (Which, considering his size, is nearly everything) and, if forced into a situation where he has to interact with others, tends to be meek and a pushover. His does his best to be as non-confrontational as possible and, naturally, has a lot of difficulty keeping and making friends. Despite just living in a cave, he has no desire to go elsewhere since he knows his home is stable and the fact it lacks other inhabitants means that it is safe.

Ability: Serene Grace

Moves:

-Healing Wish

-Doom Desire

-Psychic

-Energy Ball

Held Item: Soothe Bell

Allies:  [Leaving this section open for now since he’s not a part of any groups or really tied to any other legendaries]

Rivals: No one specifically.

Other: Following the pokedex entries, wishes are granted by writing on the three tags he possesses. He's been avoiding sleep for about two months.

Nickname: Kilri

Gender: Nah (It, its, itself)

Species: Shaymin

Appearance: user posted image / user posted image

Personality: Also known as "That little censorkip.gif", Kilri is one of the more pompous legendaries with the tendency to have a loud voice despite it's small stature. Along with thinking itself to simply be the best creature on the planet, it also has a tendency to boss other pokemon around and generally yell orders out at the others with full intentions that they would listen. Because of this, it has problems with making and keeping friends because they tend just to get too fed up with Kilri's attitude. This doesn't actually seem to bother Kilri in the slightest since it's levels of empathy seem diminished to the point where it has difficulty understanding why others get irritated when it bosses them around and acts snooty.

Generally, Kilri stays in one location, ignoring the need to migrate in favor of living an untroubled life in an area it knows is both safe and comfortable. Because of this, Kilri tends not to worry about the possibilities of others attacking it and danger in general, making it much more reckless and carefree when danger is concerned, usually choosing to verbally assault anyone who does anything it doesn't like instead of worry for its own safety. This stems from not facing true danger since its life has been rather plush as a whole. The only key differences between it's personality in its land and sky forms are that, while in land form, it tends to not want to move as much whereas in sky form, it is much more active and has difficulty sitting still for long periods of time.

Ability: Natural Cure (Land Form) and Serene Grace (Sky Form)

Moves:

-Seed Flare

-Dazzling Gleam

-Sweet Kiss

-Sweet Scent

Held Item: Gracidea [Carries around with it constantly so that during the day, it is pretty much always in sky form. It likes to keep the flower tucked behind its ear when in sky form and on its back in land form.]

Allies: Likes to pretend everyone is its ally but probably very few can actually tolerate it.

Rivals: Not really anyone.

Other: It's color is sea green

Gender: Male

Species: Manaphy

Appearance: user posted image

Personality: Being just born, Manaphy has an unbridled curiosity towards the world. It's fascinating and interesting and he wants to do nothing more than explore, even in situations that could be deemed dangerous by older, more experienced pokemon. Because of this, he has a tendency to wander when he can and is easily distracted by even the most basic of things like feathers or leaves. While he cannot speak at this point, he is vocal in other ways and will use gestures or crying to get the attention of others to give him what he wants. He somewhat resembles a blank slate in that he copies how others behave in front of him and is very impressionable based on who raises him.

The most unusual thing about Manaphy is probably how particular he is about specific people. His unique abilities allow him to bond with nearly anyone, yet he will sometimes openly reject pokemon for no reason at all and show clear and obvious favoritism towards specific creatures. When he has bonded with a pokemon, he does not like to be away from them for too long and will cry or throw a fit if he is left alone for too long. He is easily swayed to trust others as simply offering food is the easiest way to win his heart over, but if he has decided against someone, he usually sticks by his initial judgement.

Dragonhatchling's Nest

Username: Dragonhatchling

Gender: Male

Species: Dialga

Appearance: user posted image

Personality: Dialga resides over Time, generally playing a very passive role in how he manages it. He's gotten into a rhythm of how Time should flow, and rarely changes it. His temper is usually calm and adamant, almost regal, but has been shown to have quite an anger streak when his dimension is disturbed or Time itself is in threat. He is highly protective over his own domain, and Time itself. He will stop at nothing to destroy whoever messes with Time or enters his domain unannounced and without a very very good reason. He has shown a playful streak, though only Palkia and Giratina usually see this as it is even often hidden from Arceus.

Otherwise his habits and personality are highly erratic. He adjusts to the situation at hand and acts accordingly, if not carrying the regal air he has adopted around with him. He is somewhat hard to make friends with, but by no means is he opposed to the idea. He is very friendly, but very few take the time to sift through the games he plays to truly get to know him at his core. To anyone else outside his small circle of his Trio and Arceus, he seems mischievous and almost evil at times. Sometimes he adopts the 'evil' term as well, especially if it means Time will not be disrupted.

You could say he acts as the 'older brother' to his Trio while expecting the entitlements of that role to be played accordingly.

Ability: Pressure

Moves:

- Roar of Time

- Flash Cannon

- Ice Beam

- Aura Sphere

Held Item: Adamant Orb

Allies: Palkia, Giratina, Arceus, Kyogre

Rivals: Palkia, Giratina, Arceus

Other: Grey Oh and he absolutely loves mind games...

Username: Dragonhatchling

Gender: Male

Species: Kyogre

Appearance: user posted image / user posted image

Personality: The God of the Seas possesses the ability to expand oceans and control water at will which could put anyone into conflicts with a lot of people. Kyogre generally resides in the oceans of Hoenn, but occasionally visits Lugia. He takes pride in controlling the oceans and the rains, but also is very careful to not let things get too out of hand. This sometimes leaves conflicts with Groudon as well, or even Rayquaza if something really should go a rye. Kyogre is often peaceful and patient. If he doesn't have to be involved he often won't be involved at all. Sure, a few things can persuade his involvement into one situation or another, but after nearly destroying the world twice, Kyogre finds it better to stay hidden beneath the seas.

No one is really sure if Kyogre is good or evil. Groudon and Rayquaza are friendly to him, and he seems to have other friends regarding the element of water, but his true domain over the water leaves anyone knowing him to wonder if he does have something else planned for his powers.

The most recent fight with Groudon that sent Kyogre into Primal Rage was just the tip of the iceberg in causing the entire world to once again question of this Trio itself is really meant for keeping the world's weather, land and oceans safe or if they are planning to destroy it when no one expects it to happen. Kyogre makes no attempt to quell the suspicions, choosing to stay hidden much of the time until Suicune's actions slowly started interfering with his life.

Outside of the suspicions of his true intentions, Kyogre tends to be playful when the situation is able to have playfulness and almost always is somewhat curious about something. He had become quick friends with Dialga due to the mind games and riddles the two could play together. He definitely has a temper, but not much is known on how to set that off. Stealing his Blue Orb is about the only thing now that can truly cause him to go into a rage without end. He works very hard to keep calm.

Ability: Drizzle, Primordial Sea (Primal Forme)

Moves:

- Origin Pulse

- Ice Beam

- Earthquake

- Aqua Ring

Held Item: Blue Orb

Allies: Groundon, Rayquaza, Dialga, Lugia, Suicune, Latias, Latios

Rivals: Groundon, Rayquaza, Lugia, Suicune, Latias, Latios

Other: Blue. He is able to switch between Primal and Normal form at will, but often prefers to just be his normal not-Primal self

Username: Dragonhatchling

Gender: Male

Species: Giratina

Appearance: user posted image / user posted image

Personality: Giratina is used to be alone in the Distortion world. He had watched Dialga's and Palkia's fights from there, ended up trapping Shaymin there for a little while and also fought off their leader of the Trio, Areceus, with the help of his brothers. He likes to think of himself as the oldest of the Trio, even though him and Dialga often tease Palkia for entertainment. He takes pride in watching over the Pokemon World and making sure no toxic clouds form in his world. If many should show up, he gets agitated and often tries to correct the problem himself. This may lead to him returning to the Pokemon World and leaving the Distortion World behind for a little while in order to find the cause of the problem and end that cause, thus returning both worlds to normal.

While things are quiet in his world, he welcomes Dialga and Palkia to visit if they wish but otherwise is content in watching the world from afar. Occasionally Giratina wonders if Arceus will ever revoke the banishment placed upon him, but until then he will carry out his duty with all of his attention and effort.

If you are lucky enough to get to know Giratina, you realize the giant and supposedly evil beast actually is kind and caring. He seeks mainly to correct wrongs in the world and knows a lot of what goes on in the Pokemon World despite his isolation. If help is needed, he often times will help you even if he is not physically there. But if the Distortion World is being destroyed, he will hesitate at nothing to try and destroy the cause of the destruction. Because of this, it is needed to mention this legendary does have more of a temper than he may seem. He lives up to the old legends of his banishment, being banished for violence and evil.

Ability: Pressure (Altered) / Levitate (Origin)

Moves:

Shadow Force

Dragon Claw

Aura Sphere

Steel Wing

Held Item: Griseous Orb

Allies: Dialga, Palkia, Arceus, Darkrai, Shaymin

Rivals: Dialga, Palkia, Arceus, Darkrai, Shaymin

Other: Black, or regular text color will be used. Giratina, with the help of his own Orb, can change his forms at will no matter where he is in either world. He generally prefers to be in his Origin Forme in the Distortion World and when in the Pokemon World he changes forms depending on the situation.

Narvix's Gang

Species: Lugia

Appearance: user posted image

Personality: It is not often for Lugia to be seen, constantly slumbering at the bottom of the ocean in near the Orange Islands. However, should one have an encounter with the Guardian of the Seas, one will learn of his quiet nature and intelligence. He knows much about the legends (and truths) surrounding the ocean and listens to the pokémon who travel the currents to gain an understanding of present events above the water’s surface. Despite his precautions to avoid creating severe storms by isolating himself, Lugia is fond of company when he is awake. Usually, this company takes the form of other sea-dwellers, especially of Kyogre.

However, when xe is not at odds with xir siblings, Zapdos is known to be rather fond of them. Mostly Zapdos prefers to remain outside of anything that would require too much work (except if it comes to the possibility of taking over one of xir siblings’ territories) but, xe will do what’s right if someone crosses too serious of a line.

She is spontaneous and often possesses a short attention span, hopping from one amusement to the next and usually forgetting about important things. Mesprit is known to grow emotionally invested to many who she holds dear, especially her siblings. Always wanting to play, she can become sensitive and doesn’t take kindly to “meanies” who are downright grumpy or play foul jokes upon her or her companions. Most of the time, however, she’ll be seen as bright and bubbly, forever floating in circles around other pokémon as she cannot just sit still for very long.

Species: Zekrom

Appearance: user posted image

Personality: Ideals over truth, that is her primary policy. As Reshiram’s counterpart, Zekrom is often his opposite. She won’t hesitate to lie if it benefits the situation that she is in. However, don’t take this to mean that she is deceitful by nature; quite the contrary. She is more reserved and less invasive than Reshiram, often known to correct him if Kyurem doesn’t or can’t. Most might believe she is even distant or apathetic at times, having little preference to physically comfort others or share what is on her mind. However, she is often neither. Her temperament is a calm one, preferring to offer advice than give a hug. (Let’s face it, when you’re much bigger than most Pokémon, a hug can turn into accidental suffocation.)

As the keeper of ideals, Zekrom values the will of achieving one’s goals above strict honesty. Just as she is determined to accomplish the goals she sets for herself, she expects others to have the same determination. If someone comes to seek her aid, she will test them to see just how powerfully they feel for their ideals. Zekrom will observe first before jumping in if she can refrain from taking immediate action. While she desires most to support ideals founded on good intentions, she cannot deny determination that feeds ill-founded goals. It is such situations where she has met challengers of her strength when she did not judge someone worthy of her assistance. Zekrom does not take these challenges lightly and will never stand for them.

Personality: Soyala is very young compared to most other legends. She still possesses a childlike naivety about the world. She is apt to believe the best of people and pokemon alike.

She has made many friends within her forest - since she's always willing to lend a helping hand. In return, those pokemon she's aided tell her stories about what they have seen in their travels. And Soyala is more than happy to listen to them

While very curious, Soyala hasn't yet gathered the courage to travel very far from her home forest.

Ability: Natural Cure

Moves:

Future Sight

Healing Wish

Leaf Storm

Held Item: Rose Incense

Allies: -

Rivals: -

Other: Forest green please smile.gif Soyala is a shiny Celebi, the instinct of the Time Travel Pokémon to avoid conflict resulted in her 'predecessor' making a time shift - sideways, rather than backwards/forwards. This resulted in a sort of paradox - which resulted in Soyala's unusual colouring.

Username: Takhesis

Gender: Male

Species: Palkia

Appearance: user posted image

Personality: Like Dialga, Palkia takes a passive approach to how his domain - Space - is run. Everything has its place, and as long as everything stays within its designated Space, Palkia is content.

The need for neatness and order does manifest itself in Palkia's personality as well. No matter what he really feels inside, Palkia has to present a calm and logical exterior. Due to this, most find him hard to read and somewhat unapproachable, yet one that can be counted on to make a fair judgement when arguments break out.

It has become a sort of game for his 'siblings' - Dialga and Giratina - to attempt to rattle his mask - much to his annoyance, they often succeed too.

Ability: Pressure

Moves:

Aqua Tail

Hydro Pump

Held Item: Lustrous Orb

Allies: Dialga, Giratina, Arceus

Rivals: Dialga, Giratina

Other: Reserving Plum for Palkia

Species: Moltres

Appearance: user posted image

Personality: Moltres, as one of the Three Legendary Birds of the Elements, is a very proud and arrogant pokemon. As the bird of Fire, he resides in a Volcanic region which he watches over as a Guardian and - in his eyes at least - a King. This view is rarely challenged - as Moltres is known to have a short fuse on his temper. Fortunately, his 'tantrums' are short lived too. Quick to anger, and almost as quick to forgive - or at least forget why he was angry.

The human's (general) lack of respect for the legends is troubling, and Moltres would like to correct their short-sightedness. Though - due to his remote home, he has little contact with humans and is uncertain on the method that should be used.

Ability: Flame Body

Moves:

Held Item: Heat Rock

Ayesthine's Dudes

Username: Ayesthine

Gender: Female

Species: Ho-Oh

Appearance: user posted image

Personality:

Ho-Oh is a powerful, mysterious, and benevolent Pokemon that holds herself apart from the world in her resolution to do no harm. Her intimate connection with the hearts of men has shown her that life is destined to be self-absorbed and inconsiderate, and that inclination can only be counteracted by a constant willingness to empathize. Her giving nature forced her to feel obligated to take this burden upon herself, so she set out to examine and understand every viewpoint that she could. This constant search for kind impartiality has left her exhausted, anxious, and neurotic. Now, in the few instances where she is called to intervene with the lives of mortal beings, she takes great pains to find the most considerate solution. Her company still brings happiness and good fortune to all that enjoy it, and she is always welcoming, but her intense desire to do no harm prevents her from intervening in everyday affairs. She lives in fear that her judgement will become clouded, and her views of others become stained by her knowledge of the ignorance in their actions. In her haste to correct this, she often overcompensates for her bias and gives someone more mercy than they may deserve.

Ho-Oh is warm and open to those who are gentle to the hearts of others, and she mourns those who are misguided and insincere, longing to help them. In everything that she does, she does her best to be compassionate and understanding. She holds out the offer of a second chance to all who will take it in her desperate belief that no being can be wholly evil or corrupt.

Ability: Regenerator

Moves:

- Sacred Fire

- Earthquake

- Sky Attack

- Thunder

Held Item: Sacred Ashes

Allies: Entei, Raikou, Suicune, Deoxys

Rivals: Lugia, though their rivalry is friendly and unassuming, not aggressive

Other: Ho-Oh has existed for as long as anyone can remember (and then some), but her current body is much younger. Every thousand years (or whenever she is killed) her old body is consumed by fire, and she is reborn from her ashes in a burst of sacred flame.

Species: Latias

Appearance: user posted image / user posted image

Personality:

Being a younger age, Latias isn't yet the brightest, but she sure is one of the happiest, unless when speaking of looks. She's generally a bubbly pokemon who doesn't often take place in fighting, but will fight when needed. She's a childish pokemon, not yet understanding everything in the world (but learning), but going along with it and occasionally pouting if she doesn't get what she wants. Latias is one who should be protected, loved by most because of her happy soul. She's generally positive, one to make many friends and keep them close. She also loves to talk the day away, so some pokemon will try to sneak away from her. But, it's easy to make Latias cry or feel bad, so pokemon have to be careful around her.

On the downside, Latias has one problem: Her looks. This tends to be something she hates talking about, and will flee if pokemon look at her too long, whether it's in a bad way or a good way. Her close friends tend to reassure her she looks good, but this doesn't often work. She'll cry all night about her odd looks at times, so it's best to leave her alone when these fits come along.

Personality: Articuno is a generally passive bird (at least that's how she seems), but can be very adventurous and daring. To pokemon she doesn't know well, Articuno is quiet, and not exactly nice or mean, but to her friends, she's a ball of fun. She loves battling, especially to show-off her strength, as she loves attention, any kind really. She'll take any kind of adventure, no matter how dangerous, as dangerous is fun to her. Articuno enjoys taking risks, from sharp turns when flying, to battles she may not be able to win. Thus, she often needs rescuing, and others see her as a fool.

Articuno has a great taste for humor, and loves to pull pranks on others, especially pranks that involve her ice-abilities. She loves company and large crowds, as they're easy targets for her pranks, and they'll often give her attention afterwards. Of course, her pranks often lead to trouble, but she believes she can handle a little fight.

Species: Raikou

Appearance: user posted image

Personality: Raikou is quite an intelligent beast, who happens to "study" quite a bit. He enjoys learning, especially about other pokemon and the terrain around him. When it comes to battling, Raikou thinks it through, and uses the move that he believes is best, which is often a move that is supereffective against the other pokemon. Raikou often frowns upon pokemon that aren't as intelligent as he is, but does offer a paw to help teach them, which they often reject.

Being an intelligent pokemon doesn't mean Raikou is cold, in fact, he's quite sweet and caring at heart. He loves his family dearly, and believes loyalty is one of the most important things in the world. But, now that his brother Suicune is poisoning the water, he doesn't know who to side with but Entei. He loves other pokemon, but Suicune as well, leaving him frustrated and confused. Raikou is a shoulder to lean on, often willing to lend a paw to a fellow pokemon. But when a pokemon threatens his family, he will often defend his brothers, as a whole family comes first in his eyes. But out of his two brother, Raikou prefers Entei, and tends to follow him rather than Suicune or their "creator" Ho-Oh.

Appearance:   user posted image / user posted image

Personality: Lord over Land, Creator of the Continents, Guardian of the Sand... many titles to describe the heaviest Pokemon known. Groudon himself is a massive beast flowing with pure power. Strong and durable, he is the personification of land itself. The sun reflects his emotions, when calm and content the sun shines warmly. When angered or perturbed, the sun beams down hotter reflecting his mood. He himself acts more like a volcano, he is a gentle giant who remains calm, quiet, and respectful. But once the fuse is lit and the volcano blows off it's top, he can go into a blind rage releasing his power and destroying all in his path. This is what lead to his last battle with Kyogre and their reversion into Primal forme.

While most who live on land take his creation for granted, he retains admirers in Pokemon who dwell in or close to volcanoes. Besides them, his contacts are limited. Aware of the happenings on the land, he at times can be wise and full of incite. But being a giant intimidating monster has made many wary of him and as a consequence, made him recluse away from others. When it comes to interacting with other larger legendaries, Groudon is respectful and patient. This comes mostly from his experiences with Rayquaza and an attempted respect for Kyogre. When it comes to smaller legends and others , he tends to ignore them unless confronted directly. Groudon is not much of a traveler and prefers to stay in Hoenn. ((Woooo I'm so pumped for thissssss))

It had been so long since he had been home. Even as he skirted the forest's entrance, he could sense something was wrong. No, he could see it. A spike of fear pierced the copper creature, rooting him to the spot. Everything was...dead. Foliage was shriveled and brown, like it had been dead for ages. What had happened? His brothers...surely they were alright! Their fate couldn't be the same as their home! As his fear elevated, flames licked at his breath. Entei bolted deeper into the once-lively land. His only thoughts were of his family, the only others who ever really loved him. This panic, the thought that his other thirds could be gone, drove him to forget his tight leash on his power. Small pools of lava filled his paw-prints as he ran. Soon did this create flames in the dry forest. With each step was destruction created behind the leonine beast. Into a cave did he dive, calling the names of those he desperately wished to see. His brothers, where were they? Suicune! Raikou! Brothers, where are you?!

---

Unova...This region has plenty of places to hide in. Caves...yes, many caves. It was just as perfect as Kanto and Kalos. Except, the legendaries here liked to poke around. Mewtwo lingered in the darkness as he walked down a trail. With a cloak on, he looked like any other trainer. Just a vagrant, perhaps. But what was he to do? He wasn't officially welcome anywhere, and other legends had forcibly driven him from his caves before. The only thing he could do was wander. It had been ages since he's had a chance to rest. He was famished as well. Pausing for only a moment, the mutant checked the small satchel he wore. Only three oran berries left. It wouldn't last the night, he was sure.

Darkness, the abyss of silence and warmth began to melt from the reaches of the white beast's mind. The last whispers of his dreams faded from his mind and the cold stone floor brought him into reality. His throat felt sore and dry and the thought of water soon came to mind. An irritated hiss emerged from pursed lips as Reshiram lifted up an aching wing and began rubbing the crust out of his eyes with a fore claw. A quick lick of his chops told him his lips were dry. His entire body felt as thought it would crumble into the earth at any moment and his stomach began growling particularly loudly. To make matters worse, his nose felt particularly stuffy. His sinus felt clogged up; he could sense the contagion flourishing within him. He was sick, cold, alone, and famished in some god awful cave that he didn't recognize very well. Wondrous.

Opening his pink mouth wide, Reshiram released a yawn echoed by a soft purr that resounded in the cave. He gave a wild sneeze mid-yawn, causing him to shake his head furiously in retaliation. His cheeks puffed out and he let out an indigent huff. He didn't have a cold, did he? Fire types weren't suppose to colds, right? Then again, he was physically cold despite his typing. An issue that would be redeemed, thankfully. Pushing himself upwards, Reshiram stood up and shook himself, causing frost and dirt to fly off his silky fur. His turbine-like tail began to glow an earthly orange. Heat radiated from it and warmth began to slowly spread through Reshiram's body. Sighing in relief, Reshiram walked forward, his blue gaze sweeping the cave. He was sure other creatures had been living in the cave while he slept. Sure enough, after wandering around for a bit, Reshiram spotted a frozen pile of... Arceus knows what. Ice was clinging to the mass and just looking at it made Reshiram crinkle his nose, but, his stomach demanded nutrients and did not have the energy to attempt to find a better meal elsewhere. The frost within the cave was already starting to melt from Reshiram's tail's fire and the mouth of the cave glowed a soft orange that radiated into the outside. Puddles were forming on the ground and even the mystery pile seemed to be slowly melting. Just another minute or two and Reshiram would feast upon... whatever it was. Sitting himself down rather abruptly, Reshiram lowered his neck and carefully watched the ice melt with his stomach becoming more and more impatient with every passing second.

Kalos was a rather unprotected region, wasn't it? It had produced only a few protectors and one of the said protectors sapped the life force out of any and all living things. A frightful tale, but not one that frightened Nowi. A protector was a protector, no matter how they did their job. Fairytales often clouded people's judgement and made them think and see the world a certain way. They clung so tightly to world shaped by stories, but that's all legends were: stories. At least, to the common Joe, that's all they should be. Having lived through some of the legends was a different story, but why worry about the past? The present was far more interesting than old fables.

Leaning forward, Nowi tilted her head at an angle. She was tempted to sit herself down on the lush grass, but floating allowed for so much more maneuverability. Blinking, she prodded the brilliantly colored flower in front of her. It swayed backward, it's pure white petals dancing back and forth before settling once more. Nowi gave a small grin at the flower's response and hovered to the side. She hadn't seen such a magnificent specimen in a while and catching the glimpse of such beauty was... marvelous. Bending down, Nowi gave the flower a good sniff all the while wafting it towards her nose. A hint of morning dew laid within the pungent fragrance that could only be compared to a mix between roses and lavender. Nowi's grin grew and all thoughts of Kalos's regional protectors vanished. She was enjoying the outer simplicity and internal complexion of the flower before her and cared not to think of other matters. The elegance of such a small insignificant thing was lost to many, but not to the small pink being.

"You're a monster!"

"Am I at least a pretty monster?"

"Don't toy with me, beast! "

"Oh, I'm a beast now, am I? Did I just get promoted?"

"Your lack of shame disgusts me,"

"I'm sorry to disappoint,"

"How can you act so casually about this?"

"Well you seem to be freaking out enough for the both of us. I see no reason to steal the spotlight from you,"

"How dare you-"

"Ooh, yes, how dare I say such a thing! Such a naughty little thing I am; what are you going to do about it, blue boy?"

The Tangrowth let out a snarl of disgust at the last comment. At least, Darkrai thought he was snarling. It was hard to tell from all of the blue tangles what facial expression he was making. Did he even have a face? There just seemed to be two white eyes gleaming from a dark hole within a writhing blue mass. Did he even have a mouth? How did he even eat? How did he do any bodily function for that matter? How was he even alive? Not for the first time that day, Darkrai wistfully wondered what Arceus was on when he made Tangrowths and where she could get some.

"You're a plague upon this region," the Tangrowth hissed in repulse as he began to back away. "Giratina take you, demon!"

"Does this mean you don't want to throw more insults in my face while I try to make you feel uncomfortable?" Darkrai called out as the Tangrowth turned his back to her disappeared into the forest. "No? What if I told you that this is a nightmare and the only way to stop it is by an intense make-out session? You're ignoring me aren't you! Don't you want to stop your son's night- Aaaand, you're gone. Eh, not a big lost. I'm not even sure where his... anything is." Shuddering at what could of been, Darkrai turned around and removed herself from the premise. The Tangrowth's son was still plagued by nightmares, but that wasn't Darkrai's problem. Princess would show up sooner or later, swing her wings around, and then poof! The boy would be "cured". Hurrah for everyone! The nightmares were gone and they could hold hands and sing their praise to Arceus all while doing a happy little dance. Such a lovely image was almost enough to bring a tear to Darkrai's eyes.

The sky proved to be a particularly lovely shade of blue and was enough to attract Darkrai's attention. She hovered upward before stretching out her long, thin legs to settle herself on top of a tree. Her hands went to her back and clasped into one another. Sinnoh was truly a beautiful region. No matter how many times the inhabitants tried to murder, harm, or chase Darkrai out of it, that fact would stand. She did maybe almost help ruin it's beauty once... or twice... or several times to be exact, but that was in the past, no? Just for a few moments, she could appreciate the natural wonders of the region she was created in, the place that she could consider her domain, the world that-

Ugh, when is Princess going to catch up? She's usually faster than this. Do I have to make something explode to get her attention? I don't think anything has exploded recently. No one will expect a thing! Until they see me of course and then they'll expect something to explode. Hm, I should probably be more discreet.

Trotting through the forest was a usual pastime of the blue pokemon. She had little else to do, after all. Yveltal and Zygarde both were asleep, and had been for a while. She herself had emerged from her hibernating state several years beforehand. To the date, she wasn't sure why and didn't exactly care. As a guardian or whatever, she was supposed to do stuff to keep bad things from happening or whatever. She wasn't usually awakened for no reason. But...whatever. This gave her time to do normal stuff that normal pokemon did. Like grazing and running around. It was pretty fun, not sleeping in the form of a giant tree.

As she reached a clearing, the giver of life slowed her trot to a gentle walk. This was a perfect place to graze. Granted, it was difficult to eat with her massive antlers. But she was used to it by now. How lucky Yveltal and Zygarde must be, with their weights proportioned so easily! She was stuck with tons of weight on her head and a dainty body! At least it was something she had grown used to over the years. The weight had made her much stronger, too. After all, carrying such heavy antlers around developed muscles.

Lowering her head to the plush grass, Xerneas's gaze flitted to the area around her. The last thing she needed was to be ambushed by a pyroar or something. Everybody was after her just because of her abilities! It seemed everyone wanted eternal life! As she chewed, the deer snorted at her own thoughts. It sucks, trust me. She muttered to herself. Only when she lifted her massive head did she notice something odd. No, not odd. Unexpected.

A legend from Kanto! An illusive one, but a legend nonetheless. As if a switch has been flicked in the back of her head, Xerneas suddenly straightened up and flared out her chest. When she realized what she was doing, however, she deflated back to a more natural stance. The very thought of an intruder from another region made her want to drive the smaller being out. But what was the point of that? The smaller being couldn't cause much harm, could it? Pausing for only a moment, Xerneas walked towards the pink creature. That's a pretty neat flower. I guess. It's the kind Flabebe like. She didn't mention the fact that they were everywhere in Kalos. No, that would make the stranger want Xerneas to show her where the flowers were. As far as Xerneas cared, she wasn't going to do that.

His own abilities were grand things indeed. The canid pokemon idly rested within the dimly-lit cave, his body mostly submerged within the waters of the pool the cave contained. Despite the fact he was not actively doing anything, his mere presence within the pool caused the water to sparkle as if it had never been touched before by any living soul. At the same time that he purified it, the water did something in return for him and the long scratches racking his sides gradually diminished in size. Water truly was brilliant and clean water even more so. It was so easy to look over such a basic thing because he had so faithfully restored the status of lakes and rivers alike to the same purity he now reclined in. But nay, it seemed very few in the world respected water even half as much as he. And that was the problem.

Aggressively snorting to the point where it caused a few bubbles of air to mark the pool's otherwise serene appearance, he settled further into the water, allowing his entire back to be submerged until only his head was protruding from the pool. It was much more relaxing and, since he certainty wasn't going anywhere until he was completely healed, he saw little reason in not getting comfortable. There was little to worry about at this point and he could spare some time to rest and recover fully. Rashly jumping ahead would only put him at a disadvantage and, in his experience, bodies of water tended to house creatures that would deny him his right. He could not afford entering a battle already injured and tired from his last endeavor.

His eyes snapped to the cave's entrance as a familiar voice called out his name, followed quickly by his brother. The fire beast looked especially concerned but this fact was ignored as Suicune quickly rose from the pool, sending water splashing on the rocks as he moved to stand before his brother. "Entei!" he replied, overjoyed to see his larger and bulkier brother. The scratches along his body had not healed in full but they too were pushed aside as Suicune managed to contain himself enough to bow his head slightly in greeting. All three of them being wandering pokemon meant that they scarcely saw each other anymore but all of that aside, he knew that his siblings would always side with him. They had a strong bond and could truly understand his plight. "It has been far too long since our last meeting! How has the world treated you since then?"

Feral, panicked eyes drifted across the cave's interior before settling upon the blue canid. The terrified beast seemed unable to recognize that it was, in fact, Suicune before him. Once in a fit, it was hard for Entei to calm down. Fire glowed a warm orange in the back of his mouth as he looked about fearfully. Instead of greeting his brother in return, he raced headlong for the pool of water. He needed to calm down. If this was how, then so be it. The moment his fur connected with the water, steam erupted from the pond. A deafening hiss echoed throughout the cave as Entei forced himself to calm down. For a while, the fire-type soaked quietly in the small pond. Although it often left him unable to generate flames fir a long time, it was for the best. Entei stared dolefully up at his brother, shame sparkling in his yellow gaze. Oh brother...I am sorry... His eyes drifted beyond Suicune to the blazing inferno outside the cave. Their home...What had he done?

"Entei?" Suicune asked, his joy turning to confusion as his brother did not return his joyful greeting. He wasn't too concerned about what Entei would do since his brother, despite being larger, was honestly the easiest of the group to deal with. He was honestly a pushover and even beyond that, Suicune had mastery over water and Entei fire. If there was ever a time in which he was forced to fight his brother, he had little doubt he would come out on top simply because Entei had gone from something to be feared to some kind of pacifist. Hopefully, with enough convincing, Entei would return to being wrathful and join his cause. Even if his fire-type moves were not very effective against him, they could still cause much damage and prove his point that legendaries were not something to be trifled with or taken lightly.

Ducking down slightly as Entei bolted past, he looked over his shoulder in surprise as Entei dove headfirst into the pool. The heat of Entei's body rapidly caused the pool to start evaporating and steam filled the cave, heating the very air. He'd have to refill the pool but there wasn't too much harm done. If anything, it felt quite nice. "Why?" Suicune asked, staring back at Entei. Realizing his brother was not staring at him but rather past him, he turned and looked back towards the cave entrance. Cautiously approaching it, he peered outside as an intense head bombarded his face. The dead, shriveled forest was ablaze and the trees crackled loudly as the fire easily spread from one to another. Silently breathing in the scene, he turned back to Entei and walked back over to him, sitting at the edge of the much smaller pond. "Do not apologize," he replied, looking at Entei comfortingly. "You saw the state of the forest, did you not? A mere spark could have set off these events. Moreover, it is your right to do as you please. You are a legendary, are you not? Other pokemon should quake at the sight of you and bow to your whims."

"That's a pretty neat flower. I guess. It's the kind Flabebe like."

A voice, one that was only vaguely familiar, rang out from behind Nowi. Her head perked up and she swirled her body forward, causing her head to peer between her legs. She blinked happily at the giant stag-like being behind her and offered a small grin.

"Well, hiya there, missy!" Nowi chimed cheerfully as she swirled her entire body around to face the legendary properly. She flew upward, leaving the flower out in the open in favor of getting a better look at the stranger. She was a rather pretty little thing with every color on her body ending in perfect symmetrical shapes. She looked clean, but wild as well. The beautiful horns perched on her head were most likely not for sure. The stranger didn't seem hostile or too territorial, not that Nowi would be worried even if she was. Still, it was reliving to know that not all legendaries had lost their marbles.

"It is indeed a rather pretty flower," Nowi mentioned as she adjusted herself into a more comfortable position. "At least, it wasn't a color for this particular species of flower I saw last time I was here. Still pretty though!" Nowi peered down at the stranger before her with curiosity twinkling in her eyes. Now that she thought about it, weren't the guardians of Kalos all suppose to be asleep? Nowi was confident that she hadn't misinterpreted the information she knew, but yet, there was a protector of Kalos, standing right in front of her in a time of peace. What was she doing awake? Had something happened? Was something going to happen or was this just a silly little mistake that would fix itself at a later date? The latter was more likely but the former was all the more distressing, but what did Nowi care? Worrying about the future made her head hurt and it was far too boring for her fancy. She needn't worry about something that could happen. If the big whale decided to flood the world again or if some human found an orb that made someone become uncontrollable, then maybe she would get involve, but, for the most part, she'd stay in the sidelines and watch with interest.

Even with his brother's reassurance that no harm was done, Entei couldn't help but feel overwhelming guilt at the inferno beyond the cave's protection. The leonine sighed, watching as misty vapor scattered away from his face. Fog curled lazily around the two beasts in the cavern as the two inhaled the warm, moist air. Had Entei not been so ashamed, he would have stopped to behold the cave's foggy interior. Muttering something under his breath, the fire-type rolled onto his side in defeat. But our home...our forest...it's all...gone. What became of it, brother? What killed our home so? He moaned softly. It was all gone! Everything they had loved for so long...destroyed! Entei could only pray to Arceus that the forest would be restored over time. Perhaps the fire would allow for regrowth. It was something the beast could hope for.

Snorting softly, Xerneas lowered her head to examine the flower. Yes, it was a common flower in these parts. It was the kind Flabebe claimed as their own and used until they matured into Flogres. The fairy-types often enjoyed to follow her about, and didn't usually do much to bother her. At the very least, they were tolerable. Ears stretching out to either side of her head, the deer peered at the little pink creature curiously. What's somebody as illusive as you doing in Kalos? It's kinda far from Kanto, don'cha think? She asked. Xerneas would've tilted her head to the side if not for her antlers. The last thing she needed was to tilt her head too far and fall over. With her luck, they'd get stuck in the dirt so she couldn't get out.

A hearty, but light, giggle emerged from Nowi at the stranger's question. She brought her little hands to her mouth in an attempt to keep the giggles contained, but they did poorly on the matter. The stranger looked silly having her head bent down so low. Her antlers looked as though they would drag her down at any given moment. Just how heavy were they? The poor deer was probably incumbered by the burdensome horns on her head. Indubitably, the rack would be devastating to meet on the battlefield. The legendary could lower her head, charge, and then swing someone high into the sky all the while watching them soar off into the distance. For a moment, Nowi pondered whether or not the stranger would allow Nowi to swing upon her antlers.

"You don't remain illusive if you stay in one spot, silly!" Nowi replied cheerfully. "Surely you know just how boring it is to see the same places over and over again. It get's repetitive and that's no fun! Besides, I don't really have a 'job' like everyone else does. Well, at least, I don't now. There was some mumbo-jumbo way back about being the ancestor of all pokemon, but I digress. I don't have anything to do now and traveling is quiet enjoyable! I see no reason to hang around Kanto and do nothing." Floating backwards, Nowi moved towards the nearest tree and sat herself on a branch that elevated above than the other legendary, leaning out from underneath the cover of leaves. She pushed her legs out to the side and gripped her feet with her hands.

"How about a question for a question?" Nowi inquired as she looked down at the stranger from her perch. "Last I checked, all the legendaries of Kalos were suppose to tucked up in their little homes and nice and snug. Why are you up and about when you're suppose to be counting Mareeps?"

Now came the difficult part. He did not doubt his brother would side with him but, all the same, breaking the news had to be handled delicately. He needed him to understand and unnecessary harshness could drive a wedge between them. Standing upright, he moved closer to his brother, standing before his head as he laid on his side. "You may have caused the fire but our forest was dead long before that," he replied honestly. His voice turned bitter as he recalled the memory of the first body of water he had poisoned and the horror that had spread following. But while he had first been shocked with himself and retreated, the result had been exactly what he wanted all along. How the pokemon had trembled and huddled outside of his cave. How they had begged and pleaded for him to purify the lake. And how their faces fell into despair when he said dismissed them. "We are brothers," he finally said, realizing there had been a long silence following his first statement. Some part of him still hesitated in his actions as he refused to look Entei in the eyes, instead focusing on the heavy rings wrapped around his front legs. "And I apologize for not informing you sooner of my actions. However, I will not seek forgiveness for my actions for I know that I am justified in what I have done and what I will still do further." He closed his eyes and shook his head slightly before forcing himself to stare at Entei's eyes. "I will no longer purify the waters of the world. Moreover, instead of purifying lakes and ponds, I plan on revoking my influence entirely. To all water that I have touched, I will now take it upon myself to pollute them once more. That should make up for years upon years wasted for creatures that do not even respect me for keeping them alive!" Working himself into a rage, he snorted loudly and stomped around in the cave, turning away from Entei with a scowl.

"Mmmmmm," the tiny creature mumbled as his tiny fingers gripped one of the yellow, streamers that dangled from his body, drawing it over his small body like a blanket. The floor of the cave was cold and hard but honestly, he wasn't sure what else to do. When sleeping was normal, he simply hibernated extensively. This gave him energy to grant three more wishes, but also remain awake for one week before he hibernated again. But in the past two months, he had started to realize how hard it was to stay asleep when he wasn't hibernating. He would fall asleep on his own but only a few hours later, he'd wake up feeling tired still but unable to sleep peacefully. Still, it was a small price to pay for staying awake and not having to worry about waking up a thousand years later, usually surrounded by strangers who had found him during his slumber. Too many times that had happened. Too many.

Breathing in sharply, he rolled onto his side, glancing around the dark cave before directing his gaze down to his aching stomach. Hungry, he realized. He was hungry. Glancing to the corner of the cave, his face immediately fell when he noticed there were no more berries there. He had not realized he had run out. Unsteadily rising until he was floating a foot above the floor, he approached the corner where, up until recently, berries had resided. He had nearly worked himself into a panic trying to forage for them without being spotted but now they were gone. That meant he would have to venture outside again. Glancing towards the small beam of life that entered the cave from the roof, he curled his fingers into fists. He didn't want to go out there. Glancing back to the corner, he shifted the rocks around there, searching one more time to make sure there was nothing there. Aside from a few blue stains, the corner was empty. Taking a hesitant breath, he slowly floated up to where the light entered the cave and stuck his head through the hole. The mountainside appeared to be clear at the moment but his home was halfway up the mountain. The closest berry bushes were at the base. Worming his way out of the hole, he glanced about nervously then slowly set off towards the base of the mountain, his hands nervously tapping together as he scanned everything around him for signs of life.

Half-listening to the little pink pokemon speak, Xerneas watched as the Mew floated up into the branches of a tree. Her dark eyes followed the movements of Nowi as the deer-like creature stooped down yet again to get a mouthful of grass. That was a good question, wasn't it? Yveltal and Zygarde weren't awake, which meant that whatever was happening (or bound to happen) pertained to life (or the loss thereof). Hmm...I dunno. The legendary muttered around a mouthful of grass. If I could guess, it's that things are going to start dying, and soon. Which means I'm gonna have to show my face again to re-animate everybody again. What a boring job! Show up in a ghost town, return the dead back to their magically fixed bodies. It had to be more fun to be Yveltal! After all, everybody was afraid of him and never bothered him! Huffing, Xerneas swallowed her mouthful of grass. Time will tell, I guess.

Entei rolled onto his feet and slowly dragged himself out of the pool. Water dripped off his soaked pelt in heavy globs, spattering against the cavern's smooth floor. Entei paused, and then shook much like a dog would.

You may have caused the fire but our forest was dead long before that

That was true. Everything had been dried and shriveled long before it was lit ablaze. Even the trees had lost their leaves. Whatever had happened, it had to have taken place months ago. Even with this in mind, the leonine hung his head in shame.

We are brothers

Entei lifted his head at Suicune spoke again. What was he getting at? That we are, brother. He rumbled in reply. Although he had taken on a much more gentle role in the trio, the beast's strength rumbled in his very voice. An uncontrolled inferno of rage was restrained by strength of will alone.

And I apologize for not informing you sooner of my actions. However, I will not seek forgiveness for my actions for I know that I am justified in what I have done and what I will still do further.

A new sense of dread soon seeped into Entei's core. What had his brother done? What crime had the water-type carried out and planned to do further? The beast grew worried at the look in Suicune's eyes. For lack of a better term, he could only describe it as...madness.

I will no longer purify the waters of the world. Moreover, instead of purifying lakes and ponds, I plan on revoking my influence entirely. To all water that I have touched, I will now take it upon myself to pollute them once more. That should make up for years upon years wasted for creatures that do not even respect me for keeping them alive!

Entei was spurred to his feet at the ferocity of his brother's voice. Fear sparkled in his gaze as he backed towards the mouth of the cave. Outside was no danger to him. It made him stronger to immerse himself in flames. Brother... How could Suicune do such a thing? Destroy all they knew for the sake of pride?! The notion horrified the fire-type into silence, as he knew not what to say. His brother, the quiet one of the trio, suddenly revoking his duties in such a violent rage?

Suicune frowned slightly as he heard no further response from Entei. He had expecting something more to follow the call of Brother to him but nothing followed. Instead, he was left with a faint itching feeling. The tone Entei had used to call out to him was unusual, to say the least. He couldn't place exactly what it was at first since it was a tone he was unused to coming from his brother. He had heard it quite a bit more recently. Focusing on the fleeting sound, he tried to make out what it was in Entei's voice that was bothering him but he just couldn't seem to place it. Turning, his eyes scraped over his brother's body, watching him move towards the mouth of the cave. The look in his eyes, the way he retreated so. Ah. He knew what that tone had been now.

It was fear.

"Brother," Suicune said softly as pain crossed his expression. He looked betrayed and while the rage had built up inside him at the memory of the lesser species of pokemon, it had quickly been vaporized by the look in his brother's eyes, the way he retreated from him like he was some kind of monster. That wasn't right. This was not how it should go. He had to have his brothers on his side, he simply had to! They always cared for one another since the beginning and they never turned away from the struggles the others faced. They were a trio for a reason and he needed his brothers with him. But here Entei was, regarding him in a new way. It stung to have his look match the looks of the pokemon who had once inhabited the forest. "Why do you draw back from me so? What crosses your mind that you do not speak?"

It had been a long time since he had last surfaced after the quarrel that had sent him and his brother into a primordial rage. One deep yellow eye grazed the surface of the calm ocean as a smaller boat sailed past on the wind. Hoenn was thriving once again and he had all but been forgotten.

The pokemon within the sea had not forgotten their god at all however. Some, unlucky enough to be caught by trainers, even sought to show their human counterparts how wonderful and benevolent the God of the Sea could truly be. They dove to the depths of his very home, the cave that had once been sealed long ago now left back open perhaps by accident. Not that he cared that the cave was open. He was free to reign among the oceans as he pleased. But through all this diving these curious trainers did, he also discovered not all was right with the world of water. Suicune was rogue. What did that mean?

The yellow eye submerged again in a small wave, rocking the boat as any ordinary wave would rock it. He dove again, swimming much faster than one would think for such a gigantic pokemon. A small chuckle escaped the giant whale-like creature as he remembered one of the days he had tried to jump to visit Rayquaza and succeeded in causing quite a ruckus by the effort. Of course, having complete control over water in general, he was able to stop any waves from truly causing harm, but the jump itself had caught the attention of the Wind portion of the Trio he belonged to. He had just wished to say hi, something Rayquaza hadn't quite taken lightly to upon finding out the damage that could have been caused.

"Let's find out what's going on with you Suicune..." Kyogre turned, diving downward even more before reaching his cave. "DIALGA! Friend!!" He called in confidence no trainer would appear to bother the two if the God of Time should hear him.

Dialga shook slightly as he remembered the fight he had taken part of with Palkia a long time ago. The two clashed without constraint, causing rifts in both their dimensions. Darkrai had come to stop them, which he remembered now and felt guilty about from then on. He had attacked the other Legendary without realization, caught in a rage and determined to protect Time from Space.

As ironic as that may seem, the event had nearly destroyed the world. The kidnapping from Giratina had shown him that, though at the time he had still been on edge. The betrayal of Arceus had only made things worse.

Yet, somehow, everything seemed to work out now. Palkia was in their own dimension. The Temporal World was once again whole and undisturbed as Time regained it's natural flow. He could view all of his Trio from stationary crystals that offered an easy way of contact between each realm.

But right now Dialga slept calmly, allowing Time to flow as it had for many thousands of years. He chose to sleep on the largest crystal floating in his dimension. All was not as well as he had thought however.

The God of Time awoke from a sleep with a jolt. "DIALGA! Friend!!" It took a moment to register what had called his name. It wasn't Arceus. Nor was it Palkia or Giratina. The Temporal World resounded with the call as a small crystal showed a part of Kyogre. Dialga shifted to a standing position as the crystal containing Kyogre inside it floated to his face. "You shout... why?" He asked calmly, not seeing any sign of danger from the God of the Seas.

The crystal's image flickered as the other Legendary moved in the water. As hard as Dialga tried, the crystals didn't exactly work as wonderfully at such great depths of the ocean as he would have liked. He had been meaning to talk to Arceus about that but hadn't gotten around to it just yet.

Feeling both pity and disgust for his brother, Entei turned towards the mouth of the cave. He couldn't bear to see that...look. The look on Suicune's face. Why did his brother appear to feel so...betrayed? Couldn't he see what he was doing? You are my brother, as we always will be. But...I cannot follow your path. These flames of rage have only recently left my thoughts. I am sorry they chose you next. The massive beast stopped to turn back to his brother. A softness filled his face, one that could easily be called affection. But if you are endangered, I will be by your side. Do not worry. I will always keep you safe.

That harsh, judgmental face. The sympathetic expression that followed seemed all the more hollow based simply on the expression Suicune swore he had seen when his brother turned away from him. Perhaps he imagined it but even so, it took only that to anger him. It infuriated him, wounded him more than anything else to see Entei staring at him so. And why? Entei caused calamities wherever he stepped! Pokemon respected him and feared him for that. But suddenly he was the one to be judged. No, he would not stand for it. He was a legendary, practically a god. He had emerged from the ashes of the Brass Tower with the powers to purify water. It was his gift to give and it was his gift to revoke just as easily. He refused to wag his tail like a Poochyena and play to the whims of those who did not even appreciate him. Feeling the anger bubbling back up like bile, he quickly jumped across the cave, aiming to cut Entei off from the entrance. Entei had little to fear outside because he had already set the withered forest ablaze. Suicune still had some to fear from the flames but compared to other pokemon, they were not as much of a concern of his.

But now he wasn't quite sure what to do. He couldn't very well attack his own brother but he couldn't stand his answer, all the same. Keep him safe? How would he manage that if he did not stay with him? "Don't leave," he finally said, unable to come up with anything good to say on the spot. He didn't know how to handle this. He was sure that Entei would have sided with him immediately but instead he was left with half of an answer. There was no declaration of which side he has chosen and the vagueness of the answer could not be tolerated. Sides had to be chosen. Absence from such was, in itself, taking the side against him.

He answered! Kyogre moved out of excitement when Dialga answered. It had been a while since the two unlikely friends had talked. "You shout... why?" The question. Did he even know why? He shifted in the water again as the image of Dialga flickered as the water moved. It was slightly amusing to see the shape of Dialga's head flicker with the waves he created in his cave.

"Have you heard the news about Suicune?" He paused. Why was he asking!? Of course Dialga hadn't. The Temporal World wasn't much for news nowadays and anything not affecting Time didn't seem to bother the other Legendary much. "Suicune's rogue. He's depurifying water. Destroying all the life-ponds that sustain the world." He let that sink in, allowing the urgency of his voice to hit Dialga with what it would. He hoped their friendship would be enough to cause the other legendary to care- at least a little.

Kyogre didn't, however, expect Dialga to know what life-ponds meant. He considered all water to be one of the key elements to sustaining all life; right up along food- maybe even more important. Living in oceans all your life also left your idea of a lake or pond skewed. Lakes to him were often just bigger ponds, save for very few that were large like the seas he called home. Ponds often had no name or were called puddles. Rivers were streams and streams were trickles. The tiny streams of runoff that sometimes were called creeks didn't register for him, yet he took care of them all the same as any god of the water should.

"Have you heard the news about Suicune?" "Suicune's rogue. He's depurifying water. Destroying all the life-ponds that sustain the world." Dialga watched the image of Kyogre flicker almost constantly now. He assumed the other legend was causing his own image to move with the waves, thus distorting both pictures. Leave it to Kyogre to be amused by wave movement in the ocean. Anything with water seemed to distract that legend rather easily. Except dire issues, like what was being talked of right now. He waited a little after the whale-like legend spoke, seeing if anything else would come of the brief exchange of knowledge with that urgency he rarely heard from the quiet deepsea-creature.

"Ho-oh or his other brothers I'm sure would be on him right now, stopping him." Despite the urgency, the God of Time couldn't see how this would affect him, or really Kyogre for that matter. "Could you just refill all of the life-ponds? Would your Primal form help in this?" He offered as a recounter, thinking out-loud.

Kyogre seemed genuinely upset to him, but not in a rage- which was good. They didn't need another deluge from rage that would not be stopped. "You control water at will with complete control, surely you could also purify the waters Suicune is destroying..." He could see instantly that idea wasn't getting him anywhere with the other legend. The image flickered again as Kyogre moved more in distress. Dialga sighed slightly, gently touching the crystal showing the image in an attempt to steady it. That didn't work, but the concept steadied Kyogre for a moment it seemed. "Perhaps talk sense into him yourself. You two were friends at one point, yes?" The God nodded. "Then use that. Go back to those roots. Talk to Ho-oh and Lugia while you're at it perhaps. Maybe they can do something to help." He was at a loss on how to handle this, but the image soon left the crystal. Kyogre had gone.

Dialga pushed that crystal back into its original floating orbit around his world and glanced around. Giratina's home-crystal was silent. Palkia's and Arceus' as well. Perhaps they had heard the news too of the new calamity to the world. Giratina surely would not be pleased with the events. Any slight disturbance with the world set the Distortion World into a frenzy, angering the soul who lived there rather quickly.

The God of Time pushed off his large crystal resting place, floating around in a circle as a rift opened up nearby. Blue was all he saw. The ocean. But soon, as he was floating through it, he noticed Kyogre flying into the sky with a determined look on his face only to fall back down into the ocean once more. Giant waves splashed from his landing spot as he reentered the water with a defiant flick of his tail, causing one more very large wave to go flying off toward Sootopolis city. Dialga knew what this was trying to accomplish, and in order to help he started his course for the sky.

"Rayquaza, Kyogre is at it again!" He called, hoping the God of the Skies would hear him.

((Shadow, whenever you get a chance, Rayquaza may be getting bothered wink.gif But don't feel like you have to hurry... i probably won't be posting for the next few days... I'll try, but being as busy as I am, i can't make any promises.))

"Brother! Brother? Brother, wake up! I want to play!"

A pink and blue figure zipped about in the cavern, staring down at the puddle of water that covered most of the cavern's floor. Mesprit huffed and sighed, quickly exiting. Her brother didn't appear to be home. Uxie was gone too and so Mesprit had gone to see if Azelf could play.

But that turned out to be a bust as well.

Now she flitted about, leaving Lake Valor in search of another Pokémon to pester. She was bored, so very bored! A lot of the Pokémon residing at her lake were grumpy meanies that didn't want much to do with her anymore. Sure, there were a handful that would play with her but, they all had things to do today and had no time to play games. This had saddened Mesprit but, when she thought about her siblings, she had perked up and gone to see them.

Now, she was pouting, tails flowing lazily behind her as she passed above the treetops. Heading northwest, she aimed for the Old Chateau in Eterna Forest. Ghosts were always looking to play games and, so long as they didn't play any dirty tricks on her, Mesprit was happy to be with equally playful Pokémon.

Teleportation was an easier method for travel but, there was no fun in that. She much preferred feeling the rush of air against her face. At any rate, she was closer to the forest now.

Something odd caught her attention just as she began her descent into the trees, some sort of figure. A Pokémon she didn't recall seeing before? Certainly a strange thing and she just had to go poke it with a stick! Leveling off with the figure's height, Mesprit continued forward until she was hardly a tail's length away from the ghost-like Pokémon. "Who are you? Oh! Are you a ghost? You look like one! Will you play with me?" Her words spilled quickly from her small mouth, circling around the darkly-colored Pokémon seemingly endlessly.

"Oh! We can play berry tag! Do you need me to explain how to play it?" Mesprit paused briefly in her circling, gaze shifting upward as she appeared to think. "No, wait! We'll play something new!"

Luckily for Dialga, Rayquaza had kept a close eye on both Kyogre and Groudon ever since the both became active. Any chance of the two acting up had the sky serpent swooping down to silence either of them. Circling above the region of Hoenn, Rayquaza slowly lowered himself to peer below the clouds. A wide stretch of ocean was all his eyes could see for miled. Yes, Kyogre had to be around here somewhere. The sea beast liked to lurk near Sootopolis, likely because his home cave was nearby. That was a good place to look. The fact that he was merely a green ribbon from the ground made flight more than safe. Besides, it wasn't like anybody would every attack him. Trainers were the only ever threat, and he could always knock them aside. For a creature whose sole purpose was to stop a world-ending war between two powerful beasts, trainers were nothing. A blue shape soon came into view, throwing itself into the air multiple times. Snorting to himself, Rayquaza hovered above the blue whale. You know you can't fly. What are you doing, Kyogre?

Disbelief soon shone in the fiery beast's eyes. What was Suicune doing, getting in his way? Even as he was asked not to leave, he wasn't sure he would. Could he stand by a creature that destroyed their home in spite? Suicune planned on killing more places too. How could he do this? I...I don't know if I should. Why should I... Why should I stand beside a killer? Entei's gaze hardened as he thought this. This wasn't the Suicune he knew. This wasn't the pokemon he burned with in the brass tower and wasn't the graceful beast that sought after dirty water just to make it clean again. What happened to you? Where has this rage surfaced from? Please...All of this can be fixed. This isn't the answer.

Making an annoyed raspberry, Nowi gripped the branch with her tail and flung herself forward. She swung backwards and began to slowly rock underneath the grip of her tail. She became a rather curious sight with her two large, fluffy feet sticking outward, her arms crossed in defiance, and her cheeks puffed out in arrogance all the while she hung from the tree branch solely through the force of her curled tail.

"Talk about death and worrisome things is bor-ing," Nowi claimed loudly. "Why be all upset about the future when you can advantage of the now?" Nowi uncrossed her arms and glanced at Xerneas excitingly, her eyes twinkling with mischief. The way Xerneas moved, the way she muttered her words unenthusiastically as though each syllable dragged upon her tongue, she was bored. She craved for something more; she dreamed of something beyond her job, but what exactly? Was it the thrill of adventure? The joy of carefree negligence? What was it that she wanted?

"Do you plan to just sit here and wait for the leaves to wither away until all life fades from them?" Nowi questioned as she blinked curiously at the deer in front of her. "How long have you been awake? How many hours have you wasted waiting for calamity to fall? Too many, friend! Too many!" Letting her tail lose its grip upon the tree, Nowi twisted forward, spiraling through the air before ending right-side up. She gave her head a quick shake in an attempt to rid the awful feeling she got from all of the blood that rushed to her head. Floating forward, Nowi moved to Xerneas's side. "You aren't just going to sit here and wait for something bad to happen, are you?" Nowi asked as she slowly began to jump around Xerneas, ending from one side to the next between words. "Come on, enjoy yourself a little! You don't wake up often, no? Why waste the little time you have awake by sitting around mopping all day? Have a little fun! You deserve it, I'm sure!"

"Hm?"

Turning around, Darkrai found herself faced with one of the Lake Guardians. Normally, when faced with Uxie and Azelf, especially Azelf, Darkrai would begin to blow off a bunch of nonsensical remarks in order hide the fact that she was backing away and her thoughts were consisting a single long stream of, "Nope, nope, nope, nope, nope,". This guardian, however, was different. For one, she and Darkrai had rarely crossed paths. Aside from the few times Darkrai caught a glimpse of her staring as Princess shot Moonbeams after Darkrai who was shrieking with laughter, with a large helping of fear, the two had never been in contact with one another. Darkrai had heard the being of emotion was rather childish compared to her siblings, but never in Darkrai's wildest dreams (which were quite wild indeed), did she stop to think that the being of emotion wouldn't attack Darkrai on sight, let only not realize who she was. This idea quite quickly went to Darkrai's head.

"Oh well aren't you just the sweetest little thing," Darkrai crooned as she offered the being of emotion a gentle smile. "Contrary to popular belief, I am not a ghost. Strange, isn't it?" Darkrai made a show of her arms, waving them about as to prove her point. "I do look like a ghost, don't I?" Darkrai asked through a chuckle. She lowered her arms and shifted her hip the side. She placed her hand on her side. Ah, what was the pink Lake Guardian's name again? Mesprit, was it? She sure seemed to be rather energetic. Trying to keep sight of her as she circled was making Darkrai nauseated.

"You want to play a game?" Darkrai finally asked once Mesprit had stopped her circling. "Are you sure you want to get mixed up with me? I'm not sure you siblings would take, ah, kindly to you... associating yourself with me." As much as Darkrai was amused by Mesprit's antics, she knew better than to aggravate someone when she didn't have to. Sure, it was fun to see Azelf's little blue head go red, but suddenly becoming face-to-face with Cresselia after someone "tipped her off" was very much not fun. If Darkrai was going to get involved with anyone, she wanted to make sure Cresselia wasn't hiding in the bushes behind them.

Mesprit giggled, twirling a few times before stopping again and focusing once more on the strange looking Pokémon. "So, if you're not a ghost, then you must be a dark-type. Right?" A question that Mesprit didn't care about receiving an answer for. Actually, she was already brushing it away, nodding enthusiastically when the bigger Pokémon repeated her original question of playing a game. "Yes! I want to play! Will you play with me?"

Would her siblings not like her associating with this Pokémon? She quickly shook her head, grinning as her tails wiggled and wrapped around her. "Nope! They don't care who I play with so long as I don't go around pulling any nasty tricks on others!" she remarked, floating a bit closer. Lowering her voice, she frowned. "But, to be fair, the grumpy meanies deserve whatever tricks I play on them," Mesprit huffed, folding her arms and nodding once.

Her demeanor changed again and her tails quickly unwrapped from her body, her tiny hands reaching forward to grab hold of the strange Pokémon's arm. "I'm Mesprit! Come on! Let's go play! There's a nice berry bush a little ways to the right with all the berries we can possibly use for berry tag! All we gotta do is try to tag each other with a berry. If the berries were more varied, we could even try making chains! That's when you tag someone else with the same type of berry you were tagged with," Mesprit explained, tugging on the other's arm excitedly.

It was Suicune's turn to stare at Entei in disbelief as a harsh snort came from the graceful looking creature. Despite his appearance not changing much over the years, there had been an air that he possessed that completed the serene, majestic look that completed the elegant look of the purifier. But it was something he no longer possessed. Instead, his gritty attitude tore down the illusion of grace that he had once possessed, making him seem like an entirely different pokemon even if his appearance had not changed. He was bitter but he knew that already, even if he wouldn't say it out loud. "Fixed?" he replied, scoffing at that idea. "I am fixing it. I'm fixing a problem that we have faced for far too long." Slowly he lifted his paws off the ground and began to take plodding steps towards his brother, closing the gap between them. The difference in height, though minuscule in the grand scheme of things, allowed him to sneer up at his brother as he approached. "We're not appreciated," he said, his foot coming down hard on the stone. "We're not taken seriously," he added with another step. The twin streamers that seemed to function similarly to a tail began to flick at the air rapidly with his increased agitation. "We're trampled under the feet of pokemon who don't deserve the time we've invested in them. And for what? More abuse from creatures as common as dirt. They have no right to treat us this way. So I'm doing as you said. I'm fixing it. I'm fixing all of the wasted years I spent caring for creatures that obviously do not care back. So go ahead. Leave. But the second you cross that threshold, you might as well pair yourself up with all of those creatures who ever abused us!" He jerked his head towards the entrance of the cave as the fires roared outside. It was his brother's choice. He could side with him, or he could side against him. There was no other option.

A loud snore came from the ground in the middle of the lush field. Sinnoh really was pretty this time of year but that didn't stop the green and white pokemon from snoring lazily in a field of flowers, scaring away several flying-type pokemon with its noise. Aside from yours truly, pokemon didn't really live in Flower Paradise. Many came to visit and used it as a resting stop like Wingull but it wasn't truly their home and they didn't stay for very long. This allowed the small pokemon to grow lazy and chubby, doing very little except eating flowers and sleeping. Sometimes, if it was feeling the urge to move, it would fly around the island and visit nearby places in Sinnoh, but these were short trips since the Shaymin really reveled in its lax life. Rarer still was the time when it would stumble across another legendary. It hadn't seen too many of them of late but it was certain it had met at least a few.

With much difficulty, it rolled onto its tiny feet and opened and closed its mouth a few times. Fine, fine. It was awake now. Stretching out its paws, it shook morning dew off of its fur, having become coated in it during its slumber. Waddling, it made its way over to the closest flower and began to chew the petals to pieces, still trying to wake up entirely. This routine was fairly normal for the tiny pokemon and, in a few minutes, it would probably be awake enough to actually take a trip into the main land. But for now, it was still half asleep and ended up just mindlessly moving from flower to flower in a small circle, tearing the petals off and eating them. It had been a while. Maybe it could go seek out some legendaries instead of the other way around. Company was overdue, after all.
