Warning: This Role Play would be more suited for those who are familiar with the anime Naruto, to an extent in which they understand the content below. RPers who are new to the anime Naruto then this RP is not for you. If you have some relevant knowledge of the anime you are free to take part. Relevant knowledge includes terms, Naruto storyline and basic knowledge on how the Naruto world works.

 

Plot

After the long battle of Madara & Kabuto alliance and The Five Great Shinobi Nations, The Five Great Shinobi Nations held victory. Naruto managed to kill Madara and Kabuto with the help of Tsunade, Gaara and Sasuke. The final battle was with Sasuke and Naruto fighting it out to the death, although due to Naruto having completed his jinchūriki training he defeated Sasuke but did not kill him. Team Seven was reunited once more and they swore that they would never abandon each other again. Tsunade convinced the other Kages that Sasuke was under the influence of the Cursemark and the way he acted was to be excused. Sasuke was placed on probation for six years where he would, for two years have his chakra sealed and the remaining years were to be spent completing D and C rank missions. Unfortunately Tsunade was gravely injured in the battle with Madara and Kabuto and a few weeks after the war was over passed away, but not before passing her title down to Konoha's number one knuckleheaded ninja.

 

During the battle of the Jinchūriki, Naruto fought against the Revived Two, Three, Four, Five, Six and Seven Tailed Beasts. The Ten Tailed Demon was revived in battle, with only his Sage mode and friends to rely on. Naruto, with Kakashi's help banished the Ten Tailed Demon to another universe. Each of the Tailed beasts have been revived over the years. Now new Jinchūriki are made each day in order to lock the demons away.

 

After the battle, was a reign of peace. With Naruto as Hokage and Sasuke now as Captain of the ANBU Root system as well as Naruto's personal guard, the village flourished. Gaara of the Sand is still the Kazekage even to this day, becoming a legend among Sunagakure.

 

It has been 25 years since that battle, Sakura was thankful to have Sasuke back in Konoha and months into his probation, the two started to date which eventually lead to marriage. Hinata persevered with Naruto and finally got him to notice her as more than a friend and also married; she is now the head of the clan and is working on a way to remove the Curse Seal. Neji finally confessed his feelings to Tenten and works as Hinata's personal guard and heads the research department that is trying to find a way to remove the Curse seal. Shikamaru and Temari were also married and they are now residing in Sunagakure, working with the young academy students there. The rest of the Konoha 12 are still single and are training to improve their skills even to this day. Will this peace last though?

 

The Shinobi Alliance remains to this day. But in order to maintain the peace established by the Fourth Shinobi War, the Kages still continue with the Kage Summits within the Land of Iron every few years. There are several who still cling to their old village ways and do not care for others' safety while some wish to abuse the Alliance of the Nations and wish to gain power for themselves.

Will you stand by the old ways of your village, or strive to maintain the Shinobi Alliance?

Or perhaps will you choose a path all your own to change things the way you feel they should be?

Is a new threat dawning on the horizon?

It's the Sixth generation of Shinobi and this time the story is yours to tell.

 

These are rules for your character, for creation and for RPGing

1. No Rinnegan- The rinnegan is banned full stop; please do not try to simulate this bloodline or we will figure out and your character will be kicked out to the recycle bin.

 

2. Uchiha and Kaguya Clan Limit Their will be a limit on some clans to stop hoarding because people tend to favor the Uchiha's. If you make an Uchiha, and are given the okay, whatever rank the Uchiha is at, you will start out with Sharingan Tomoe Level One, depending on the circumstances of the Character.

 

3. Starting Ranks- Will all be Genin unless special permission is granted. Like all people you have to work your way up the ranks.

If you post earlier, you will most likely be given a higher rank. We'll be in need for some Jounin Squad leaders for the Genin. Also, some Chunin as well. If you ask nicely I might let you be ANBU.

 

4. No Dual Kekkai- This includes dual kekkai and dual bloodline limit. No Ice and Metal, and no Byakugan/Sharingan combo. Doujutsu stealing is allowed but you may only have one doujutsu eye, you MUST PM me (Kursedfire) and the user who you will be stealing from. You MUST give a reason.

 

5. No Bloodline Expansions- None at all, even if you try it will be denied.

For those who don't know what a Bloodline Expansion is, it is a bloodline limit like Ice except instead of two elements combined it has three elements combined, so no on these.

 

6. Stats & Natures- The stats are at a maximum of 1000, you cannot go higher than this.

Katon (Fire) is weak against Suiton (Water)

Suiton (Water) is weak against Raiton (Lightning)

Raiton (Lightning) is weak against Doton(Earth)

Doton (Earth) is weak against Fuuton (Wind)

7. KG/CM/Sage split limit- You will be able to have ONLY ONE of these statuses (With Permission) However you will not be able to gain a second so do not try. The statuses are Kekkai Genkai, Curse mark and Sage.

 

8. Death Rule- Killing is not allowed, after going through the rules, allowing to kill a character would just make things confusing.

 

9. No Jinchūriki's- No Jinchūriki's, like the Death Rule I put much thought into the decision and decided it would be fairer on RP's if there were no Jinchūriki's.

Village Alignment

Because the world of Naruto is so large, in order to keep this RP non-confusing, the Minor Nations will not be included in the RP only the major towns/villages of the five Great Nations.

These are:

(I) Konohagakure "Village Hidden In The Leaves", also known as Konoha, is the hidden village within the Land of Fire and the primary setting of the series. As the hidden village of one of the Five Great Shinobi Nations, the village is led by a Kage, known as the Hokage. The faces of the first five Hokage are engraved on the rock formation overlooking Konohagakure.

 

(II) Sunagakure, "Village Hidden Among Sand" or "Village Hidden in the Sand", also known as Suna, is one of the five great ninja villages, and as such has a Kage, known as the Kazekage, as its leader. This village lies in the middle of the desert.

 

(III) Iwagakure, "Village Hidden Among the Rocks". The leader is called the Tsuchikage, and the current leader is Onoki, the Third Tsuchikage. The ninja in Iwagakure specialize in earth-based jutsu.

 

(IV) Kumogakure, "Village Hidden in the Clouds" is the hidden village of the Land of Lightning. It is located on a high mountain, literally hidden in the clouds. The leader of the village is known as the Raikage, and its current leader is A, the Fourth Raikage. The ninja in Kumogakure specialize in lightning-based jutsu. Similar to Iwagakure and Kirigakure, Kumogakure has had two tailed beasts in its possession: the two-tailed demon cat.

 

(V) Kirigakure, "Village Hidden in Mist" is the hidden village of the Land of Water, having originally possessed the three-tailed beast and the six-tailed beast. The leader of the village is known as the Mizukage.

Naruto Terms

Kage (Meaning "Shadow"):Is a leader of one of the five most powerful Hidden Villages and generally are also the most powerful ninja in their respective villages. The Hokage (meaning "Fire Shadow") of Konohagakure.

The Kazekage (meaning "Wind Shadow") of Sunagakure.

The Mizukage (meaning "Water Shadow") of Kirigakure.

The Raikage (meaning "Lightning Shadow") of Kumogakure.

The Tsuchikage (meaning "Earth Shadow") of Iwagakure.

 

Chakra: Chakra is essential to even the most basic technique; it is the molding of the physical energy in every cell of the body and the spiritual energy gained from exercise and experience. Once molded, it can be channeled through the chakra circulatory system, which is to chakra as the regular circulatory system is to blood, to any of the 361 chakra points (called tenketsu) in the body.

Through various methods, the most common is hand seals, the chakra can then be manipulated to create an effect that would not be possible otherwise, such as walking on water, exhaling fire or creating illusions.

 

Jutsu (meaning "skills or techniques"): are an art of a ninja to use in battle. To use a technique, the ninja will need to use their chakra. To perform a technique, the ninja will bring out and release the two energies of chakra. By forming hand seals, the ninja is able to use the desired technique.

 

Hand Seals: Seals are used to perform many ninjutsu, genjutsu, and other ninja arts other than taijutsu. The exact amount of chakra necessary to perform a technique is manipulated through hand seals.

Ninjutsu "Ninja Techniques": is any technique that uses chakra and allows the user to perform actions that a normal person would be incapable of doing. Unlike genjutsu, which causes the opponent to experience illusions, the effects of ninjutsu are actual and physical in most cases. Ninjutsu relies on chakra and, most of the time, hand seals to be effective.

 

Genjutsu "Illusionary Techniques": are techniques that are used in the same fashion as ninjutsu, requiring chakra and hand seals. However, the between the two is that the effects of genjutsu are illusory, unlike taijutsu or ninjutsu, genjutsu techniques manipulate the flow of chakra in the victim's brain, causing a disruption in their senses.

 

Taijutsu "Body Techniques": is a basic form of techniques that on does not require chakra, though chakra may be used to enhance its techniques. Taijutsu generally require no hand seals to perform, occasionally making use of certain stances or poses, and are much quicker to use than ninjutsu or genjutsu. Taijutsu is simply hand-to-hand combat.

 

Dōjutsu "Eye Techniques": are genetic ninja abilities that utilize the eyes, granting the wielder ocular abilities. Being a by-product of specific kekkei genkai, dōjutsu are not classified as one of the major jutsu types. They do not require the use of hand seals. All known dōjutsu also provide the user with some unique abilities, such as an extended field of vision (Byuakugan) or predictive capabilities (Sharingan). The use of dōjutsu consumes chakra. Juinjutsu "Cursed Seal Techniques": are a type of techniques used to bring someone under the control of the user. By applying a seal to the victim's body, the user brings the victim's abilities and actions under his/her control. With a simple secret hand seal, the user can inflict great mental and physical torment on the victim. Example:

Jinchūriki, "Power of Human Sacrifice": The jinchūriki are humans that have tailed beasts sealed within them.

 

The Tailed Beasts, bijū: Are nine giant demons. Their powers vary from which the number of tails they have, ranging from one to nine. The Tailed Beasts are large, living forms of chakra, sometimes referred to as "Chakra Monsters', giving them power that outmatches most shinobi. However, their immense strength is tempered due to their bestial nature, which restricts them from being intelligent enough to use it effectively. When the Tailed Beasts are sealed within humans, they are able to benefit from the knowledge of their hosts, giving them the ability to better utilize their powers

Battle System

For the RP we will use no set system. RPers who are in a match against one another will get to decide who wins the match. If a fight is unsettled, Me (Kursedfire) will have to step in and end the match one way or another.

 

Matches against NPC (eg. rouges) Me (Kursedfire) will control the NPC and determine a fair outcome of the battle.

 

During a battle, please include in the post your characters current Health and Chakra points. As the battle continues please keep including the health and chakra points, changing them each time as you take damage or use a jutsu.

 

While RPing I (Kursedfire) will post random events. These events can range from animal attack, thieves, Rouge shinobi, ambushes, item drops, sudden weather changes, travelling citizens, citizens requesting help and many more.

Brief Rules about Character Creations

 

1:One character per member, First in first serve for the Character Kids. EDIT~ Due to low players, Members can now RP two characters if they feel they can handle it.

 

2:Character cannot have ties to Cannon Characters unless permission is asked first and granted. One way to get a tie with a NPC Cannon character is to go over the Availabe Kids List above and create a character that is a son or daughter to our Konoha 12.

5:No Mary Sue or Gary Sue's

 

Roleplaying Rules

 

1:Please try and maintain a reasonable word count per post. When interacting directly with others, smaller posts are allowed.

 

2:While this is an English RP, Kursedfire does encourage the use of Japanese words in place of some English ones (as long as there is a translation somewhere on post).

If you use the Japanese words, some MINOR swearing is ok, (for example: Dobe= is the equivalent to saying "why you!" or "***", this is accepted) but anything too bad will get you a warning.

 

3:Kursedfire and chosen members of RP are the only people who can RP cannon characters.

Eg. Shikamaru and Temari are now in charge of the Chunin Exams in Suna and eventually the RP will have to include him/her at some point. Also, Naruto, the new Hokage, Kursedfire will be incharge of handling missions and other tasks.

 

4: This is a free range RP, you do not have to follow the other characters in what they do. Also you do not have to follow the main story line, you can branch off and go exploring on your own.

- If you wish to take up missions and other tasks visit the Hokage's office and earn your self a reputation.

- If you wish to go rouge, then do so. Remembering each action has a negitave reaction. Eg- If you go Rouge in Suna then you will not be able to go there again unless you are captured and brought back or you are hidden. Also since Suna has a strong relationship with Konoha then you will most likely be hunted down there as well.

- If you wish to start an organisation or join a exsisting one, then do so.

 

And the general no God modding, flaming, spamming, power playing ect.

Kame- Large, Solid puppet used for defence. While slow moving it is covered by a layer of Sound steel, known for its durability and strenght.

 

Anata- Mainly hollow, small light weight puppet, easy to monuver around the field. Because it is a good size smaller than the average puppet, the master can move Anata in for quick lightning fast attacks to the enemy.

 

Shiru- Medium Sized puppet with many conpartments, this puppet is made out of a special wood which when used correctly can be used to store the users chakra and steal that of the enemies apon contact. Usefull for when low on chakra, The master can restore lost chakra quickly.

 

Totsugeki and Konbain (The Twin Dragons)- Two twin medium sized puppets made to be a specially for long range, due to their high storage of many harmfull items. Weapons used in puppets are Fire stream from mouth, posion gas, senbon, kunai, ninja wire, shuriken and many more. When Tosugeki is on the battlefield with Konbain they both can form a powerfull attacking combo,Dragons Breath Vortex(Doragon no iki no uzu)Tosugeki will release a powerfull stream of flame then Konbain will release a small but poten burst of spiral wind. The result is a vortex of flame.

Personality: He is a fun and outgoing Shinobi, taking after his mother more then his father, although strict when it comes to teamwork.

Known for Sulking in a corner and growing mushrooms when he doesn’t get his way.

Also Satoshi has a habit of bitting his nails when he is nervous.

 

Appearance: Short Chestnut hair, longs bangs cover White Hyuuga eyes. Konoha head band on forehead. Regular Jounin uniform. 5 large Scrolls attached to back.

 

Background/History: Satoshi, son of Neji and Tenten Hyuuga. Like his father he was a bit of a genius at the Academy and graduated a year earlier then the rest of his classmated. Even though Satoshi is a Hyuuga with a strong Bloodline passed down from his father, he prefers to use his puppets in battle, This doesnt mean he'll launch a surprise attack with his Gentle Fist Art.

 

When Satoshi first graduated from the academy in Konoha he was rather detached from the rest of the world only focusing on the mission and its completion, not for the safety of his teammates, Although due to the loss of his team mates on a mission he joined others in helping spread a new Nido, protecting the new generation.

Description:

Henge no Jutsu is a ninjutsu technique which every ninja learns at the Ninja Academy. Henge allows the ninja to transform themselves into any person or object. This allows the ninja to move with stealth or to trick their opponents.

Name: Bunshin no Jutsu (Clone Technique)

Description:

Bunshin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique which every ninja learns at the Ninja Academy. The Bunshin technique creates a copy of the ninja without substance. The copy resembles the ninja in every way. This clone can function as a distraction or as means to confuse one's opponent. As soon the Bunshin gets attacked or comes into contact with an opponent, it will disperse.

Name: Nawanuke no Jutsu (Escaping Skill)

Description:

Nawanuke no Jutsu is a very basic Ninjutsu technique that allows a ninja to escape from rope binds. This jutsu is ineffective if the one that tied the user up is of a higher rank.

Name: Kawarimi no Jutsu (Change of Body Stance Technique)

Description:

Kawarimi no Jutsu is a basic Ninjutsu technique. When in danger the ninja will quickly substitute themself with another nearby object. This can be a block of wood or even another person. This allows the ninja to quickly flee and hide while the original object takes the brunt of their opponents attack.

Name: Kakuremino no Jutsu (Magic Cloak of Invisibility Technique)

Description:

Kakuremino no Jutsu is a very basic Ninjutsu technique. The ninja uses a camouflage cloth to cloak themselves in the background.

Name: Soushuriken no Jutsu (Manipulate Shuriken Technique)

Description:

Soushuriken no Jutsu is a basic but useful Ninjutsu technique. After hurling shuriken, the user can control the projectile's path and movements by using wires which run from the shuriken itself back to their arm. Because his opponent will think they are normal shuriken, they will be off guard about their ability to redirect themselves. The wires themselves are very difficult to spot in the heat of the moment, although specialized doujutsu or other methods could make spotting them easier.

Description:

A powerful jutsu, Kuchiyose allows a ninja to summon animals, objects and the dead to fight on their behalf. The ninja normally signs a blood contract with the animal species, which allows him to summon different size and skill levels of creature. Chakra consumption is based upon the size of said summon.

Name: Kai (Release)

Description:

Kai is a Ninjutsu technique which allows the ninja to avoid the effects of a Genjutsu illusion. After forming the needed handseals, the Genjutsu technique will not affect the ninja. The ninja can also use the technique on another individual who was unable to avoid the attack. Background/History(iii): Ever since his birth he had a very small connection to his inner chakra. Though it was certain he had plenty of access to chakra but something just seemed to prevent it from coming out at all even when trying to force it out. As he was growing up he had visited to academy and seen the shinobi hard at work due to the position his father held in the village. He began to train day in and day out to become one with his chakra but all seemed to fail no matter how hard he tried. Then one day he and his father were out meandering about they decided to spar around for fun. At that point it became apparent that he was abnormally good at taijutsu and was nearly as fast as his grandfather before him. His father was impressed and decided that He would enter the academy when he was ready to.

Chakra Katana - A simple katana with a circular black handle. It has a blue streak on both sides going from the handle to the tip and passing straight through the middle. The blake can be infused with chakra, which makes it lighter and faster to swing, also hitting harder than normal, but infusion with chakra tires Arashi out quickly.

 

Special Hidden Kunai Mechanism - This is a simple mechanism hidden in the sleeve of Arashi, which, when activated, shoots out a kunai that hits the enemy and then retracts through wire. The mechanism has been modified from Arashi. First, the kunai is at normal shape, but it travels faster and usually piearces through the enemy. Then, a hook bursts from the kunai that holds on the enemy. Arashi can now choose to release fire through the wire or to pull the enemy toward him.

The Nakami are a newborn clan that has been created from an unknown clan and the clan Namikaze. They have a special blood limit or trait - the Blood God Mark. As it's name says, the Nakami have godly powers, though really limited. They have only two jutsus - Bloodlust and Godly Kunai. The first is D rank, whilst the second is D to C rank. The Bloodlust is a simple jutsu - whenever casted, the Nakami heats it's blood up, increasing it's will to fight and charging the next jutsu's damage. The Godly Kunai is more complex - the kunai is infused with a special power that makes it glow in a crisp, radiating white light. When thrown at the ground, the kunai explodes a bit weaker than a kunai with explosive tags but creates an illusion of the caster right where the kunai is. If infused with Bloodlust, the user can strap on an explosive tag and can lodge it into the enemy. Bloodlust cannot be used much - four uses before the Nakami needs to recharge, though not using any chakra, whilst the Godly Kunai uses up a little bit of chakra - 10 to 20 points every kunai.

 

Personality: Arashi is a friendly guy. He enjoys chatting with fellow genin and admires Naruto Namikaze. He feels that he is a big person and someday he will become like Naruto. Arashi also likes fighting. He has been practicing since from home and knows all jutsus of his clan that he can use as a genin and has a will to fight. Countless practices have toughed him up to fight, though out of them he is the frendliest chap you'll meet.

Appearance: Black hair that reaches the midst of his ears. The front of the hair is curved to the right in a spiky manner. Those are paired up with a set of deep dark blue eyes that reflect his childhood and you could lose yourself in. Wears a white t-shirt under a opened black vest. Pants are a dark grey with white stripes on the sides, finished with dark blue sandals.

 

Background/History: Arashi was a fighting kid, learning to fight from the early age of 5 or 6 years. He was raised a fighter, fighting day for day to earn his food. Then, he was softened up to learn the good side of life, the one of harmony, peace and good. Then, at the age of 10 to 12 he was at the mountains near Konoha training for his clan abilities. Now, he has returned to join the genins.

Personality: She is usually reserved, since she cannot reveal much of her family’s history to other people. However, she will warm up to certain close friends, but will still keep mum about her family. She finds it easier to just not talk at all, rather than to keep on avoiding the topic of her family. She appears relatively cheerful, with a smile on her face most of the time. Many have mistaken her to be mute.

 

Appearance: She has long, raven-black hair, up to her waist, but she usually ties it up into a high ponytail with a white ribbon. She has pale skin and large hazel eyes. Her Konoha forehead protector is worn on her neck, as a choker. She wears a white tank top and a navy mini-skirt with black shorts. She wears standard shinobi sandals. Her metal fan hangs on her waist.

 

Background/History: Shiroi’s grandparents escaped to the Land of Fire during the extermination of the Yuki Clan during the civil war in the Land of Water. They lived as normal villagers until Kaori Yuki, Shiroi’s mother, ran away from home, due to an overwhelming desire to avenge her people by becoming a shinobi. As she(Kaori) grew older, she began to realise that her dream of revenge was one of selfish desires and not how she was brought up, in the Land of Fire, with the Will of Fire. She eventually gave up and returned to her parents’ home, only to discover that they have already passed away due to old age. With nowhere to go, she went back to Konohagakure, where she learnt the ways of the shinobi, to start a family there.

 

Hence, Shiroi was born from the marriage of Kaori and her partner. Shiroi was sent to the Konoha Ninja Academy to learn to be a shinobi. Kaori also placed her there in hopes that she would learn about the Will of Fire, helping her strengthen her personal conviction, as well as moral direction.

((Time for intro post! Oh and I'm currently studying Japanese in school, so I'll probably incorporate some Japanese words and traditions into my posts, with explanations of course. ))

"Bye Mommy!" Haruka said, hugging Sakura and then running off to school. Her black hair waved in the wind, her eyes determined as she raced her previous time to get to school. She beat it by a second according to her timer. The little six year old, soon to turn seven in March, was turning out to be just like her Uncle Itachi. She didn't know that much about him, her dad didn't like to talk about it. Haruka was already in her last year of ninja school. She would graduate at 7, same as her Uncle. It was frightening to know that she was starting to be like Uncle Itachi though. From the rumors she heard, that was the reason she had no family on her dad's side. And she even heard that her dad..had killed him in revenge. "But Daddy would never do something like that." she reminded herself. Would he? Haruka shook the thought as she came into class and sat down. Being the class nichoku(( class leader)), Haruka went to the front of the room after removing her shoes. She waited for her sensei to come in and then said softly, "Kiritsu"((stand)). The class stood turned to face the teacher and bowed when she said "Rei"((bow)). Haruka gave her final command of "Chakuseki"((sit)). The class sat and she too returned to to seat. During class the teacher talked about the principles of the Shinobi. She had, like her mother, already memorized every single one by heart and knew what number they were, so she zoned out and started to daydream. The main thing on her mind was Saturday, when her dad had promised to take her to work with him, so she could practice and talk to Naruto. She adored him and loved hanging out with him. Originally Haruka called him Lord Hokage, but he got sick of her calling him that so now it was just Naruto. Haruka snapped back to reality, pushing herself to pay attention, but she didn't succeed. After a few minutes, she was terribly bored again. She sighed, waiting for class to be over.

Edmon woke up as sunlight passed threw his window curtains, he turned on his back and streched then quickly jumped out of bed, if he stayed awake in bed too long he would go back to sleep soon enough. He got dressed, ate. today he decided not to bring his bag of clay with him. '' i wounder what kind of students i get this year, i wounder if there is going to be any earth user. '' he said out loud as he stepped out of his front door. He looked up at the sky, what a beautiful he thought as he started walking towards the hogake's tower.

He knocked three times on the door, '' its Edmon, i'm coming in ''' he said as he opened the door without even waiting for naruto to reply. '' So, anything special for me today,hogake sir ? Haruka watched the birds fly outside the window. "If only I could fly away from here and just leave. Practice on my own for awhile, train myself, improve my survival skills. That would be nicer than sitting here learning nothing. Can't he at least ask a question or two?" she thought to herself. As if on que, her teacher asked about one of the principles and her hand shot up immediately. She answered it correctly and went back to day dreaming. She knew that her teacher would call on others for the next few questions, and it wasn't even worth raising her hand. So Haruka just waited for actual training practices to start. All though she was shy, Haruka never seemed to have a problem when her teacher asked a question, or when family or family friends like Naruto and Hinata talked to her. But when anyone else did, her shyness kicked in and sometimes she was barely even able to utter a word. After a little while, which seemed to be hours, the class moved outside for shuriken practice. Haruka was happy. This was one of her favorite things to do in school. It hadn't taken long when she started school at five to perfect her shuriken throwing skills. Not trying after a while, she began to lose a little bit of accuracy. So she decided to challenge herself by making pictures on the pole with them. For example, about a month ago she made the sign of Konaha. She pondered what to do now. Haruka chose to do a simple smiley face. She didn't have too many to practice with today so it would be difficult to do an intricate pattern anyway. After completing that, she took them out and decided to try her Sharingan again. Haruka had tried for the first time last night, to no avail. Her father had gotten it when he had been in terrible danger. But how could she awaken it when she was stuck here? Looking at another class learn a jutsu, she tried to analyse it, but it was no use. Maybe she could ask Dad more about it after school...

Shun had fallen asleep earlier that morning on his fathers office couch((or anything of the sort)) He had been so excited for the next day because he was getting so close to graduating and he wanted to prove himself more in the next few days. Much like his father in nature though when ramen is put into question the chance isn't passed up. The thing that ended waking him up was when Edmon started speaking to his father as he then soon realized it was morning Shun ran over to his father and gave him a hug before booking it out of the door in great speed.

 

After making it out of the tower he looked around and muttered to himself, "Challenge or no challenge?" Before nodding his head and starting the quick way as he then scaled up to the rooftops and started booking it to the academy. Being the clearest route and making good time he thought to himself, "Ramen doesn't sound to bad" as he hopped down and entered the ramen shop. All the costumers knew who he was and started to gawk. "That's the hokage's boy isn't it?", as he lowered his head in a bit dissapointment before the ramen had been brought out. He then smiled and scarfed it down almost quicker then his father. Finally finished he remembered he wasn't supposed to be dallying as he got out of there in a heart beat and continued on the roof tops.

 

A few more minutes had passed as he reached the academy out of breath. Hearing the kunais strike was a sure sign everyone would notice if he came out of the school itself so he opened the hole in the wall, that he just so happened to make when he was still watching the shinobi. He snuck through and ended up in some bushes pondering what to do next. After a few more minutes he noticed Mister Sasuke's daughter Haruka. He then tried to get her attention as he usually did by making bird sounds. In hopes that she would notice and come check it out like she had before.

Naruto Uzumaki, Hokage was currently gazing out the windows of the Hokage Tower. From his vantage point he could see the Academy students training out in the yard with their Chunin instructor. His head perked up as he heard silent footsteps at the door.

“It’s me Edmon, I’m coming in” Like all Jounin these days they never waited for a reply before entering.

“Anything special for me today Hokage?” Edmon asked. Naruto sighed, today was a boring day. No missions of the sort so far.

“Unfortunately Edmon nothing so far, unless you wish to take care of a dispute on the borders? Some farmers have been having some troubles with Rouges taking their supplies. Take it if you wish. But you should be preparing for later. The academy students are graduating soon, you’ll get your first team. Think you’re up to it?” Naruto Asked, turning in his seat towards his Jounin.

The Nakami compound was full of activity today in Konoha. There weren't much pupils of the Nakami that were going to be Academy Students, around three children. They slept in their rooms except the third one. Arashi Nakami, a 13 year old, was already up and training at the training field of the Nakami. Arashi practiced throwing kunais and shuriken. Today, he was training on going through the target. Grabbing a shuriken, Arashi threw it at the dummy and pierced it. The shuriken was almost out. Taking 5 shuriken, Arashi threw them all at once and cut the target through the middle in two. This one was made of light wood so it split easily, though, so he advanced to bamboo. "Arashi, come on, it's time for school!" His mother, Tomoko Nakami yelled out and Arashi nodded, then ran in the compound. He put on his sword, took a quick ramen that his mother had made and thanked her, then ran out of the compound and to the school. When he got there, he had finished it and walked in the field. Arashi then took position after one of the other kids and started throwing shuriken at the dummy, hitting a bullseye half the time and hitting 50 points the other time.

Edmon looked back at nartuo. '' yeah im up to it dont worry, i already have stuff planned for them. '' he said then turned his back and exited the room. '' oh, and il' go check out whats going on with the rouges. '' he added before disappearing in the hall way. Those stupid rouges, dont they have anything better to do then steal from farmers on the border, this time their' really gonna get some, he said as he craked his knuckles. He stepped out side, and remembered that he had left his bag of clay at home, he quiclky went to get it and headed straight to the borders.

Kai stood watching the academy students, Kama was sitting at his side, her fur ruffling in the wind occasionally. They had just left the classroom and were outside, throwing Kunai, yes that was the lesson for today wasn't it.

 

He shrugged, "Well, looks like I'm up, time to teach class Kama." He winked at her and began forming hand signs.

 

Kama rolled her eyes, "you could just walk you know..." she growled at him in speech and he smiled, disappearing as his body appeared to separate into a thousand green leaves. show off...[/b]

 

Kai timed his arrival perfectly, his body reformed in a split second right as Arashi released the next kunai from his hand. He appeared in front of the target even more quickly than he had vanished.

 

"Good morning class..." He spoke, eyes closed, smiling at everyone. There was a low gasp from most of the other students, until they realized that the kunai Arashi had thrown... was harmlessly wedged in-between two of Kai's fingers. It was his first day with this new job since he'd returned from his last assignment, no sense in making anything less than an over-the-top entrance.

 

He let the kunai go and surprisingly its forward momentum continued on, slamming it into the bulls-eye of the target where it had been headed before. Several of the children clapped, others simply stared or smiled.

 

Kama paced over to him as he spoke, shaking her head at his antics. He never did anything simple.

 

"Good throw Arashi." He smiled at the boy who's kunai he'd temporarily stopped.

 

"My name is Kaimaru Hatake," he used his borrowed name, something he took from Kakashi, the lazy old ninja was an inspiration to him, at least when he was young, it's not like he would complain and Kai couldn't go walking around giving out his real last name now could he. "Call me Kai, and this," he indicated Kama with his thumb, "is Kama, she's going to be joining our class a few days. I'm here to substitute for Iresu Sensei while he takes a short vacation."

 

"As you all know, we'll be doing kunai training today, but before we begin, are there any questions?"

 

As he waited for anyone to raise their hand or merely ask a question he took a moment to glance at the different targets on the field, judging each student by how their target was marked up. He stopped on one that looked like a student had thrown a smiley face at it... he grinned, but only on the inside, wondering who's that one was.

 

He also noted that the hokage's son was not present at the moment. He made a mental note to have Kama go find the boy and make sure he knew class was about to begin.

Haruka heard some bird callings and looked over where shun was. She came over to him quickly. "Um...hi Shun." she said quietly, her shyness kicking in. "Where have you been?" Haruka added, barely even audible. He was nice, and she knew him well from her father's work. Part of her shyness was from being a six year old in a class of mostly 12 and 13 year old kids. She usually spent a few months in each grade before being ready to move up, so she typically didn't bother to make friends, but Shun was nice. If she hadn't been in the highest grade right now, she probably would have moved up, but Haruka had decided to wait for the graduation exams so she could be assigned to a new squad. She hoped that Shun would be on her team, he was the only one who actually paid attention to her. When the teacher said his name her hand immediately shot up. A relative of Kakashi Sensei? Her dad was a lot like him especially when he was younger and had a rivalry with Naruto. It was the same with them as it still is with Kakashi and Gai Sensei. At least her dad and Naruto had been able to get over it. Oh well.

Shiroi woke up late, again. For most of her life as an Academy student, she had been consistently arriving at the Academy late. It had become such a habit that the teachers no longer did anything to her when she stepped into class, a little later than the rest. However, her parents have continuously reminded her to be punctual, something a shinobi should be. Try as they might, she never wakes up on time.

 

Shiroi grabbed a clingwrapped sandwich her mother had made and bounced out of the door, hastily making her way to the Academy. She was quite a speedy student, and it also helped that she lived quite close to the Academy, in one of the many houses in Konohagakure. When she arrived at the Academy, she saw that none of the students were in class. She thought, Perhaps I should head to the field and check?

 

Once again, Shiroi quickly made her way towards the field. She heaved a sigh of relief when she saw the group of students.

 

"As you all know, we'll be doing kunai training today, but before we begin, are there any questions?"

 

"Sorry I'm late, sensei." Shiroi bowed before joining the class. Even though she was always late, she always apologised. Some may criticise her turning her apologies meaningless by committing the same mistake over and over again, but she felt that it was appropriate to apologise nonetheless.

[Rakashua]

Kai sensed the movement to his left, and slightly behind, the youngest member of the class, raising her hands... and a suspicious bush, and likely... the missing classmate.

 

"Ah there you are Shun, glad you decided to join us." He smiled, "what is your question Haruka?"

 

Kama meanwhile had begun collecting the kunai from around the targets and depositing them in piles for the children to get ready to throw again. The whole idea of having to participate in the class was boring to her, she only felt at home during the hunt, at Kaimaru's side, life and death hanging like a thread that could fall either way, and sound of their prey's heartbeat...

 

She jerked suddenly as one of the students reached out a hand to pet her as she walked by. She hated to be pet... only Kai got away with doing that and only when she was in a good mood... or he was in a bad one.

 

"Play nice Kama," Kai said out of the corner of his mouth, still smiling and facing the opposite direction.

 

How did he even notice... what a bother... She sighed, wishing that she had teh vocal ability of some of the Inazuka dogs who had managed to learn human speak... oh well. She let herself be pet as she continued to pile up the kunai. It was going to be a long day.

 

Another girl rushed into the area suddenly and Kai waved at her as she slowed to a stop. "Welcome Shiroi I was just introducing myself. I'm Kaimaru Hatake, and I believe..." he turned back to Haruka, "that you have a question for me yes?"

"You said your last name was Hatake. Are you related to Kakashi Sensei?" she asked him. Ever since she had started school at an early age, Haruka was always the smallest in the class and the youngest. She wanted to graduate already so she could do something interesting and helpful for the Hidden Leaf Village. Again, oh well.

Kai smiled, "unfortunately I don't know," he admitted, "my family records were lost during the great war, I could be his nephew... or not related at all and there'd be no way to tell." In a sense it was true, Kai had lost his family records... in the sense that he never had any. The only person he was related to in the village... did that even count?

 

"Alright, if there aren't any further questions... we'll begin." Kai pulled a kunai out of his pocket, it was one of his own, a few choice blades that he'd filed down over the years until it fit his hand just right.

 

"There are two things to consider when throwing a kunai, precision, and accuracy. A Ninja needs to be able to be both precise and accurate. Can anyone tell me what the difference between those two terms is?"

Something about what her sensei said didn't sound right, but she ignored it. When he asked a question, Haruka sighed. She was hoping for a better, more challenging question. But of course her hand shot up anyway. "You can leave it to a sub to ask the easiest questions," she thought to herself.

Arashi smiled as his teacher did his trick appearance. It amazed him, partially though. So, Kaimaru Hatake... Arashi had heard of a Kakashi Hatake, maybe he is a son or something. The other guys came back now and the whole class was on the field. When Kai-sensei asked what is the difference between accuracy and precision, Arashi's hand immediately shot up, which held a shuriken with the second and third finger. The difference between the accuracy and precision is that accuracy is how close you can hit to the bullseye while precision is how close you can group up your hits according to the last shots you did. Arashi thought with a confident smirk as he waited for the teacher. Seems like Haruka's brains kicked in again, as she raised her hand before Arashi.

Shun smiled at Haruka as he slowly snuck behind her so he could try to blend in as though he were there the whole time. Though it most likely wouldn't work it was worth the try as he whispered to Haruka, "If anyone asks i was here the whole time." As he smiled he resembled his father in to many aspects. He then stretched and popped out fully when the teacher wasn't looking as he then decided to watch his class mates answer questions he had already forgotten.

~Kunailby, Rouge Ambush~

 

With a quiet rustle of the wind and the clang of connecting kunai’s, a rouge appeared behind Edmon. This little Leaf shinobi had fallen sraight into his trap. Sparing the farmers life to draw in other shinobi, in order to steal provisions and sell any items he managed to snag off their dead bodies.

 

“Didn’t anyone tell you not to let down your guard?” He smirked under his mask, as he unsheathes his Katana. This little blonde punk was going down.

 

"You Leaf Shinobi aint all that smart are ya?" The un-named Rouge said as he brings his sword down fast apon Edmon.

 

"Lets have some fun"

Kai smiled at the enthusiasm of at least two of the students, Arashi and Haruka who appeared ready to answer the question. But the idea of teaching wasn't to cater to anyone in particular, and he had already interacted with the two of them so he called on another student who's hand was halfway raised as if not sure of his answer.

 

The boy, after a moment of trying to gather his thoughts, managed to answer the question mostly correctly.

 

"Yes, the difference is that with accuracy a shinobi can hit a target right where he, or she, wants. But with precision a shinobi can strike the same target several times in the same place. Obviously you want to be able to do both, hitting the bulls-eye multiple times in a row."

 

He smiled, "unfortunately, unless you catch your opponent completely off guard, throwing kunai, shuriken or even needles at them probably won't have much of an effect unless you use your kunai along with a simple Jutsu. Taijutsu can be used to add speed or throw several at once." Kai picked up two Kunai from the pile and with a flick of his wrist, both hit the bulls-eye.

 

"Ninjutsu can be used to do a number of things, making your kunai hard to block, or having them pierce an enemy's defense." The next one the threw he coated in wind chakra and it sailed through the bulls-eye and dropped to the ground on the other side of the target.

 

"Genjutsu can be used as well, though it's not as common and probably not something you'll learn until next year, still, you should keep it in mind." The final kunai he threw seemed to break into a dozen kunai and all of them hit the target, covering it almost completely, but then they all vanished except for one on the bulls-eye.

 

"I'm not going to teach you how to do any of those. I know that all of you know rudimentary tai and nin jutsu and perhaps genjutsu if some of you have a keke in that art. But for today, I'd like you all to use some other jutsu along with your kunai throwing in order to make it more than just a pointy metal object tossed at an opponent." He grinned, "but remember, it doesn't matter what kind of jutsu you put behind your throw if you don't have the precision and accuracy to hit the target where you need to."

 

 

"So, form two lines here," he pointed to one target, "and here," he motioned to another. "Kama and I will watch you and give you tips on your performance. Those of you not at the front of the lines... start thinking about what jutsu you're going to use in combination with your throw." Kama moved into position by the other dummy target. "You may begin as soon as you're lined up."

Haruka smiled, not surprised at Shun. He did this way too often for it to be unexpected. "Come on," she whispered. "Join my line, you won't be noticed." Haruka then lined up in front of the first target, ready to throw. But was Kai Sensei kidding them? Genjutsu was easy, and she couldn't even use her Kekkai Genki, if she had inherited it. She just hoped she had. Haruka had gotten practically nothing from her mom, so was the Sharingan not passed on to her, some trait of her mom's over riding it? That was impossible, right? "Maybe if I had my Sharingan I could hypnotize our sensei into letting us out early, so I can visit Daddy at work."
