{OOC} Howl to Me III: Blood & Crystals

Recommended Posts

You can find the main roleplay here.

Currently accepting profiles.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE proof read your profiles for spelling and grammar mistakes! One or two are acceptable, but repeatedly misspelled words and incorrect phrases are a headache. This is a literate roleplay, I expect that you know how to write properly. I will begin to decline applications if they have not been cleaned up before they are posted. And as a reminder; KEEP THE BOLDED TAGS ON.

Another reminder- Keep up with the OOC! The IC and OOC board have their distinct purposes and you need to make sure you are aware of everything that is going on in both of them, not just one. Questions or concerns may be directed at you in the OOC thread since chat is not allowed in the IC thread.

Note: Keep in mind originality is encouraged, but don't be offended or intimidated if you have the same power as someone else. No drama please~

This is the OOC board for the magic-endowed wolf pack roleplay, Howl to Me III: Blood & Crystals. If you have comments, questions, or concerns about the roleplay, please refrain from posting in the main thread and instead post whatever you need here. Please do not PM me or other members if you have questions, unless it needs to be specifically answered by one of us.

Post profiles in this thread. Those posted in the main thread or PMed to me will be ignored. You can start posting as your character once I approve of it, or if 4+ members already in the roleplay give their approval. If someone asks you to change it besides me, you can either change it to how you see fit or ask one of us if you do not understand. Also, if you are accepted by the other members, I may still ask you to edit your profile until I feel it is satisfactory.

Once I accept your profile and move it to the profile posts, please delete your own post so that the thread is cleaner.

If your character has pups, you are required to create profiles for them once they're capable of conscious thought. (I will let you know when this happens) You do not need to roleplay your own pups; you can either ask other members to take them, or leave them up for grabs here. Until they are claimed, they become NPCs and may not have their own posts.

Remember to keep the chit-chat in this thread restricted to the roleplay; I don't want us to get warned by the mods D: /throws candy at mods

Sadly, no banners yet...

:'(

If there are pups that don't want to be played by the parents, please let me know so that I can put them up for grabs up here. However, parents get to decide gender and powers (if they want).

Pups available: (Strikes mean the pup is already taken.)

Mate pairings: (Wolves not seen here do not have mates yet. Pairings crossed out are no longer applicable.)

Username: Shiny Hazard Sign

Name: Pierce

Age: Five years, four months

Gender: Female

Power: Lightning

Abilities:

Static Charge-- A constant charge of purple electricity runs through her fur, and depending on her mood, can cause a minor shock or dangerously violent shock to whomever touches her. Unfortunately this can never be turned off, which means any wolf that touches her can get a nasty surprise if she's in a foul mood. If she's feeling rather amicable, then the shock is akin to a brief jolt. Anger, disappointment, and embarrassment cause the voltage to amp up, and visibly spark off of her pelt, while rage may cause her to appear covered in writhing, wild forks of violet lightning. Intense happiness, love, and excitement makes her fur bristle slightly with a soft glow to the tips. Because of the volatile nature of her static, she is always trying to keep herself under control as to not cause harm to her pack. She can control the direction of the sparks to a degree if she is under control of herself, but as soon as her emotions get the best of her the sparks may fly in any direction.

Storm Front-- With a powerful, thundering howl, Pierce can summon dark storm clouds to gather above wherever she is currently standing. This storm fills the air with crackling electricity, of which she can redirect at will (such as pulses of static along the ground or sparks in midair), or absorb to give herself a brief surge of power or stamina. Random lightning bolts may drop occasionally if the storm she calls is particularly violent, but she cannot redirect the bolts.

Surge-- Instead of amassing her lightning as an offensive energy, she internalizes it for a boost in speed. This allows her to cover great distances with surprising agility. As soon as she comes to a stop, the electricity springs back into her fur. During dusk or times when sunlight is dim, a faint trail of violet light can be seen following her as she Surges.

Drawbacks-- Her "Static Charge" ability cannot be turned off, and thus becomes a double-edged sword that she has to be acutely aware of at all times. It is possible for her to expel too much static if she is particularly emotionally distraught, and can exhaust her if kept at such a level for an extended period of time. If she depletes her energy this way, she cannot perform "Surge" and any storm she summons with "Storm front" is weakened and may not be able to supply enough electrical current for her to recharge.

"Storm front" cannot be used more than twice a day, if even that depending on her energy reserves. This takes a sizable amount of energy from her that can only be recovered if she remains still during the storm and absorbs the energy back from the air. This can take several minutes, up even to an hour if the storm she summons is violent. The storm only lasts until the last of her energy is used up, or if she is heavily injured or unconscious. She cannot control the storm once it appears, only that she is able to benefit from its electrical charge.

"Surge" prevents her from using electricity as a weapon. The static in her fur is at its lowest point, and can only be felt as a buzzing hum if a wolf is able to touch her during her run. While she can use this ability constantly throughout the day, the more she uses it the more electricity and energy she uses up, thus she is easily exhausted if she abuses this ability. Typically she cannot use a Surge right after a Storm Front until she absorbs the lightning back out of the air, and if she uses Surge too much the storm she summons may disappear quicker than intended.

Appearance: Although she is technically of average height, Pierce seems to be a bit shorter than most wolves of her pack. She has a stocky, powerful body, with thick bones and muscles give her an edge during a physical fight. Midnight black fur covers her entire body, with a dense mane along her neck and shoulders. Despite her height, she is able to carry herself with regality and authority, and can appear to be quite intimidating to anyone who does not know her personally. Her fangs are strong, thick, and a beautiful contrast of white to her dark fur. The only other color she possesses is the stunningly vibrant purple of her irises.

{x}{x}

Personality: Ever since she was little, the great expectation of her to be the next Alpha weighed heavily on her. Although she tries her hardest, a dark part of her continues to doubt her ability to give the Hallowed the leader they deserve. She feels as though she could never compare to her great-great grandfather, to whom she was constantly compared as a young wolf, and suffers from low-self esteem whenever she believes she falls flat of the expectation. Her constant need to fulfill these expectations drives her to overwork herself in order to please her pack. Pierce will go on numerous patrols and hunting parties throughout the day in order to feel as though she is contributing to the labor of the other wolves. She doesn't believe in giving herself a break because she thinks she has to be just as great as Zeus in order to earn her position as Alpha. This causes her an abundance of stress and anxiety, but she desperately tries to control her emotions by distancing herself from the other wolves. Many have speculated that she is reserved and aloof because she believes herself to be superior, though this couldn't be more from the truth. In all honesty, she's terrified of failing as an Alpha and harming her pack.

History: Pierce is the great-great granddaughter of Zeus, a lightning wolf that led the Hallowed into an epic battle against the Cursed years ago. Her parents, June and Apollo, were expecting a litter of four, but unfortunate circumstances led to three stillborns and little Pierce as the barely surviving pup. The deltas of the pack worked hard for several weeks to keep Pierce alive. When she finally was on the road to recovery, it became the Alpha's goal to make sure she was well trained and capable of fighting her way through any hardship. As soon as she was healthy, she exhibited signs of lightning powers and her parents rejoiced, believing it to be a sign that she would follow in her ancestor's pawprints and vanquish the Cursed. She was groomed for the position of Alpha until the last breath of her parents six months ago, when the Betas elected her as the new leader.

Mate Preference: Male and Female

Alliance: Hallowed

Position: Alpha

Username: Shiny Hazard Sign

Name: Cobalt

Age: Three years, ten months

Gender: Male

Power: Wind

Abilities:

Gale-- Cobalt can whip up a fierce wind that tears at everything in the vicinity at various speeds, depending on the strength of his conviction. He can also use this wind to gust around him to run faster.

Cyclone-- His Gale becomes a powerful whirlwind of air that circles around himself, protecting him from harm. However, he cannot leave this cyclone, nor can he attack outside of it.

Appearance: Cobalt, aptly named for his blue-black eyes, is a tall wolf with willowy limbs built for swiftness and agility. His long snout and long tail give him a streamlined body, and his gait is elegant and smooth. With his pure white fur, he blends in perfectly to the frost that blankets the unforgiving Cursed terrain. This fur would have been soft and fluffy, had it not been for the constant battering of weather and malnutrition that caused his fur to become coarse and shaggy. His teeth are long, with the bottom canines jutting out from his lips to give him a crooked smile.

{x}{x}{x}

Personality: Although he appears to be mentally stable-- and actually is, for the most part-- Cobalt has what others would consider intense mood swings. He finds everything strangely hilarious, and will laugh at just about anything, regardless of the nature of whatever he is laughing at. Yet, there are times where Cobalt becomes suddenly vicious, even after laughing profusely at something he finds amusing. He seems to have no qualms with abruptly snapping, and does not seem to be bothered by his own polarized behavior. Although it is mostly rare for it to happen, he is very dangerous in this regard for there is no telling what might make his switch flip. He has nearly killed several wolves for no reason at all.

Many wolves don't think he is very serious, but none have mentioned it to his face for fear that he would turn on them. Various wolves in the pack carry scars from when Cobalt randomly turned violent, and it is probably only because he is an asset against the Hallowed that he has not been kicked out yet.

History: His mother was a Delta that was ambushed by a loner during a patrol on her own, since the Gammas got caught in a skirmish with Hallowed wolves. She became pregnant with Cobalt and his siblings, although she did not desire to be pregnant and did not care to nourish herself properly for the job. When the pups were born, they were all sickly, and she attempted to desert them without the pack's knowledge. However, another Delta had picked up on the signs of pregnancy and followed her. After chastising her for abandoning her pups, the other Delta brought the pups to the nursery where they were cared for by another wolf that had miraculously given birth around the same time. Although Cobalt and his sisters know of their birth mother, they care not for her and ignore her for the most part. Nothing terribly noteworthy occurred during his life so far, except for the time that Cobalt challenged a Beta, won, and then decided not to take the position because he thought it was funny.

Mate Preference: Any/All

Alliance: Cursed

Position: Gamma Warrior

Username: MyaMouse

Name: Tenebris (ten-ee-brie [s is silent]) 'Tene' Inchis

Age: Two and a Half Years

Gender: Female

Power: Darkness Manipulation

Abilities:

- Shadow minions

Tene can make slaves from shadows and darkness, but they are limited to walls and the ground. They can interact with the physical plain as long as what they're interacting with has a shadow. They, like her, are extremely susceptible to bright lights and such brightness can cause them to fade out.

- 'Invisibility' (but not really)

Tene can fade in and out of darkness, causing her to be almost completely invisible except for a thin, barely visible outline. This is her main defense tactic, but doing this causes her to move slower. When she attacks physically she must reappear, as she cannot interact with the physical plane whilst camouflaged, making wolves with fast enough reflexes to be able to attack her that way. She can also camouflage prey or other things, but again, she must reappear to interact with the physical plane to pick them up. Once she has picked it up once she does not need to stay visible any longer. This is especially useful for smuggling prey across the border.

- Darkness Bubble

This is to counter her weakness since there is minimal shade in the Cursed territory. She can make a bubble of pure darkness to stay and rest, but it leaves her open for attack, as her physical strength are minuscule and she cannot use her powers in the bubble - she's concentrating it into the bubble itself. The bubble can also act as a smoke screen to escape from tight situations, as only Light, Electric, Fire, or Dark wolves (Basically only wolves that are a light source or Dark wolves) can see though it.

Her weakness is lights, stronger light hurts her more. Bright light starts off weakening her and prevents her from summoning her minions and goes to actually burning her and rendering her powers useless, making her rely on her minimal strength. You could possibly kill her with a bright enough light.

Appearance: Tene looks like this, only with a small white star on her left flank and one on her neck

Personality: Tene is strong-willed and a bit egotistical at times, especially after a victory. She tends to vary and be complicated- one minute she's being all joyous and fun and excitable and then the next moment she's quiet and distant. Her personality fluctuates, more so after her father died. Overall she tends to be mysterious and sneaky but loyal to her pack, where she was born and raised.

History: Tenebris was born with her sister Gale to an Air wolf named Zephyr and a Dark wolf named Umbria, the two Betas at that time. As the two got older, Gale stayed a Delta and began being a 'healer' for the pack, studying the diseases and medicinal herbs stolen from the Hallowed territory. Tenebris strove to replace her mother as the Female Beta, defeating wolves with her sneaky tactics. A year later, Gale disappeared. It was thought she died for trying to steal herbs from the Hallowed side, and so Tene, using her camouflage power, went to try and find Gale with her mother. However, Tene got caught, still being young and weak. Umbria valiantly saved her daughter, trading spots with Tene and being caught herself. Umbria may or may not be alive, as she was last seen running back to Cursed territory but never seen actually on Cursed territory since. Zephyr, distraught that he had lost all of his family to the hands - er, paws - of his enemies, killed himself by levitating over to the Hallowed territory and giving himself to the bears before Tene returned. The young she-wolf was heartbroken and depressed for a few days after hearing of this, but soon gained Betaship and got back into the swing of things, even more determined to defeat the Hallowed pack that took half of her family from her.

Mate Preference: Male

Alliance: Cursed

Position: Beta

Username: Brotato

Name: Torque

Age: Three Years and Eleven Months

Gender: Male

Power: Shadow Trickery

Abilities:

Ability 1: Dissipate - The user disperses into a fine mist of particles, rendering them immune to physical injury, but additionally susceptible to magic-based attacks. In the shade, the user moves slightly faster, and slowly regenerates from minor injuries. During the night, the user can move quickly and blend into their surroundings with this ability, making them more difficult to detect, in addition to granting the user moderate regenerative powers. In pitch black darkness is where this ability shines, granting the user the ability to move in any direction (upwards included), in addition to greater regenerative ability and doubling their movement speed.

Ability 2: Shadow Clone - The user warps their own shadow, or manifests one from the surrounding darkness into a three-dimensional dark double of themselves. The clone has none of it's owner's other powers, but retains a varying degree of its owner's physical capabilities, and is controlled directly by the user's thoughts alone. In the shade, the clone possesses the majority of its master's physical prowess, and sends visual and auditory feedback to its owner. At night, the clone possesses the full extent of its master's physical prowess, provides full visual and auditory feedback to its master, and allows for fine manipulation such as allowing its master to talk through it. In pitch black darkness, the clone is slightly stronger and faster then it's master, allows full visual and auditory feedback, while also being able to see in the dark. In addition, the caster can mold the clone into other forms while under these conditions, though nothing larger then it's original volume allows. The shadow clone simulates its master's exact appearance and simulates having flesh and fur when in the shade, during the night, or in pitch black darkness.

Ability 3: Nightmare - The caster merges with his shadow or shadow clone to become the embodiment of fear itself. While a nightmare, the caster's fur turns pitch black, their eyes glow dark purple and they gain varying bonuses depending on their exposure to direct sunlight.

-In direct sunlight: Nightmare provides only minor resistance to magic attacks and a small increase to the caster's physical abilities. No changes beyond those listed above.

In the shade: Nightmare provides moderate resistance to magical attacks and a minor increase to the caster's physical abilities. Weak-minded enemies are likely to experience mild hallucinations if looking directly at the Nightmare under these conditions. No physical changes beyond the listed above.

-At night: Nightmare provides moderate resistance to magical attacks and a moderate increase to the caster's physical abilities. The nightmare grows short tendrils around the neck and upon the back, which are only useful in direct contact with an enemy. Only strong-minded opponents can fully resist the hallucinations from looking directly at the nightmare.

-In pitch black darkness: The nightmare thrives with no light around, providing significant magic resistance and moderate physical augmentation to the caster. In addition to which, in the pitch black, a nightmare can assume its final form, listing all the changes above, and growing a pair of pitch black wings with a dark barely luminescent purple membrane. The nightmare can glide, but it can not ascend with them. In the pitch black, the Nightmare can drive any but the wisest and most resilient into madness, causing vivid hallucinations of the onlooker's worst fears.

Drawbacks:

Dissipate: In direct sunlight, Dissipate hinders the user's mobility, lowering the speed at which they can move around, and causing them intense pain from exposure to sunlight. Dissipate is usable under water, though it significantly hinders the user's movement speed regardless of light exposure, provides no regenerative function under this condition, however provides the benefit of letting the user avoid drowning. Overuse or extended use of this ability renders its user dizzy and disoriented.

Shadow Clone: Only one clone can exist at a time. The clone has varying fragility depending on the light conditions it is in. In direct sunlight, it is slightly translucent, giving away the master from his clone, and can shatter quite easily, as it cannot simulate having fur or flesh under these conditions. While a Shadow Clone is active, the master's focus is split in two, making them more likely to make mistakes in a combat situation and rendering their ability to dodge half as effective. The clone can not send direct visual and auditory feedback to it's master in direct sunlight, meaning the user must control it directly while viewing it indirectly, further adding to the difficulty of use. The further away the clone moves from it's master, the more difficult it is to control, until it simply disappears when it goes out of range. The clone can NOT Dissipate or use Nightmare, and the caster can not use Nightmare with a clone active as both abilities demand the use of the caster's shadow.

Nightmare: This ability is exceptionally taxing on the caster's mental state, especially during the daytime and in pitch darkness. It is best used in the shade or at night, as it is the least likely to drive the user himself insane. When a nightmare, the user can not summon a Shadow Clone, and upon using Dissipate, abandons their nightmare state. Nightmare is universally harmful to allies, opponents, and the caster himself. Visual hallucinations are guaranteed for the caster in pitch black darkness, and difficult to avoid in the night. If the Nightmare's opponent is mentally superior to it, then the caster risks being driven insane before their very enemy, and forcing them to Dissipate and leave themselves open to attacks. It is an extremely situational ability, and although Torque enjoys using it, he has his reserves about employing it in intense combat situations.

Appearance: Clickety Click

In the sun, one could mistake Torque with a regular wolf, though anywhere darker then in the shade, small pitch black or dark purple tendrils could manifest on Torque for no more then a moment, happening more frequently the less illuminated his surroundings are. In addition to which, his eyes are the same deep dark purple.

Personality: Despite his malicious looking powers, Torque is actually quite the charmer. He spends his downtime doing leisurely things like taking long walks or dabbling in herbalism. He's open, honest and warm, though not quite affectionate. Friendships do matter to him, but he lives keeping his friends close and his enemies closer. It takes a lot to rattle him, but even when it happens, he's known to do the grown-up thing and just stand aside. Having to struggle with his own nightmares, Torque spends much of his downtime in a trance-like state, helping him overcome his body's need for sleep without actually entering his own little personal hell that came packaged with his powers. He doesn't mind the sun, but he loves the night. It makes him feel more secure, knowing he's nearly at his best with the sun gone. As such, he tends to be more active at night then during the daytime.

History: A wanderer by heart, Torque had spent but only two years with his family before deciding to part ways with them. Family disputes were common due to the fact that Torque was the first in his bloodline to have such abilities. He'd done things to his siblings that left them mentally scarred once he started practicing nightmare, and being exiled was but a whim away by the end of it. Still, not having to deal with the consequences of his actions any more was nice for him, but he ultimately did want to return to a group he could rely on. Loneliness had overcome him by the time he decided to rejoin the hallowed. His old family was nowhere to be seen any more, a bittersweet truth, but a chance at a fresh start for the one lonely wanderer. He only hoped the months he spent taming his powers would not betray him.

Mate Preference: Female only

Alliance: Loner

Position: X

Username: TehUltimateMage

Name: Spitfire

Age: Three years, ten months

Gender: Female

Power: Heat/Fire

Abilities:

Flamepelt - Spitfire's pelt is exceedingly hot compared to other wolves, so much that during the summer days in the Cursed territory others avoid denning with her completely. Her temperature varies from a feverish heat to the hotness of white metal, enough to burn other wolves through their fur if they make contact with her. The temperature is chiefly determined by her mood, and since Spitfire's fury is constantly simmering, her 'regular' setting is enough to make show melt under her paws. While it is hottest at her skin, the heat wave radiates around her and fades away by distance. Visually, there is no difference to her until she becomes too hot to the touch, where the tips of her fur glow red; her whole pelt shines white at maximum strength. Water weakens her power though she is able to passively boil small amounts such as puddles, and sitting in a stagnant pool makes the water disgustingly (or relaxingly) warm.

Firebreathing - Spitfire has the choice of expelling flames from her maw when she barks and growls, from embers falling to the ground in place of spit or a full-on steady stream of fire. While she usually has control over when it happens, the fire seems to happens automatically when Spitfire gets too angry or agitated. Not many wolves trust her with hunting duties, afraid that she might char what rare prey they have and render it inedible.

Appearance: An orange wolf with short fur that is and messy and fluffed up in displeasure. The orange is darker on the back and the underside of the muzzle and belly are a peachy white. Spitfire stands on the larger side of the females, with a wide and powerful frame she uses to her advantage to tackle and pin down enemies.

Personality: Constantly irritated and in a foul mood, Spitfire harbors a hatred for many things. While she recognizes that her powers are useful in many occasions, it seems to her that all other wolves do is complain about her abilities and the Hallowed unfairness and how the sun doesn't shine in the right angle in the morning. Within the clan she has little tolerance for wolves hiding misdeeds or general incompetents. She is a hard worker convinced that one wolf (herself) can change the fate of the pack. Her fury is sometimes uncontrolled which leads to accidents she is too prideful to verbally apologize for, although it is not rare for her to secretly make amends during the night.

History: Ever since her birth, Spitfire was not particularly liked. Her mother never wanted her nor her brother and sister, from what she understood. She was feverish and sickly during her pup years, more so than her siblings, and spent a lot of her time in the medicine dens rather than on the field training. The fury at her helplessness boiled until she could handle it no more and one day in a fit of rage, she set part of the pack's herb stores on fire. The next few months (as she appeared to be in better health after that incident) had her under the mentorship of a Delta as a punishment, though all she yearned was to rip out some Hallowed throats for having everything better. For a long time she thought she could do a better job than the Alphas and the Betas, and quite a few times she entertained the thought of leaving the pack and becoming a loner. To her, no one wanted her around anyway. After renouncing the duties of a Delta in favor for the lifestyle of a Gamma warrior, Spitfire has mellowed out a bit, although she is biding her time until she finds herself fit to challenge one of the Betas -- or better, raid the Hallowed. She holds a little jealousy at her brother, Cobalt, for successfully winning the fight but turning down the position -- though in her heart she knew that he wouldn't make a good Beta anyway.

Mate Preference: Male only

Alliance: Cursed

Position: Gamma (Warrior)

Username: Alexander_Drake

Name: Venemus

Age: Two years

Gender: Male

Power: Poison Manipulation

Abilities:

-Poison Claws: Venemus makes a strong poison that coats his claws, making them his most powerful weapon.

-Poison Siphon: Venemus can draw small amounts of poison from open wounds, reversing most damage the poison has done.

-Toxic Glob: Semi-sentient, baseball sized glob of poison, which can latch on to foes and seep into their bloodstream and poison them. Intelligence is low, often throwing itself off cliffs in an attempt to catch its target, but Venemus can destroy the glob to re-form it elsewhere, within about 5 feet of him.

Drawbacks:

-Most water that Venemus drinks becomes slightly toxic, inducing sickness in all who drink it except for him. While this is not wholly bad, several Cursed wolves have gotten sick from it, though it does dilute as it flows through non-standing water, or standing water in large volumes.

-Any food that Venemus takes a bite out of becomes similarly tainted. As such, Venemus generally has to find his own food so the others don't have to worry about his poison.

Edit: -Venemus also has a limit to how much poison he can produce at a time, generally he can use his poison claws fairly often, but poison siphon takes a few hours to be reusable, and the poison glob can really only be created twice a day.

Appearance: Mostly grey, but with streaks of white and bits of fur that have fallen out. One eye is blind. He is very thin from having to get his own food.

Personality: Malicious, sometimes sadistic if he's angry/grumpy/sad. Most of the time he keeps to himself, but not and then he'll converse with anyone who wishes to.

History: Venemus was, for the most part, a normal pup. One day, after sundown, he began to exhibit... strange behaviors. The few Cursed wolves that dared approach him became sick not long after, and soon the Cursed wolves knew not to go near Venemus. Venemus didn't always have the name he has now, he chose it after he discovered what powers he had.

Alliance: Cursed

Position: Beta

Username: Narvix

Name: Ylva

Age: Five years, three months

Gender: Non-binary; it/they/them/their/xe/xir/xem pronouns.

Power: Oracle

Abilities:

Let Me See - Being blind has its disadvantages. However, Ylva’s body emits a sort of perception field that allows them to sense objects that are close by. This field only stretches about six inches from their body in all directions. Anything outside of this small range has to be detected by their other senses. [Passive]

I Hear Whispers - Ylva cannot control when xe receives illusions or visions of another time. These can be about the future, the present, or even the past. However, they are so infrequent and too short for Ylva to actually believe if they are real. [Passive]

The Lost Will Be Found - If they have touched, smelt, tasted, or heard an object/wolf, then Ylva will be able to find it as long as it exists/lives and is within a few hundred yards of where she stands. [Active?]

Appearance: Ylva is a dark-furred wolf with pale eyes, big ears, and a long tail. Around their eyes, they have fin-like markings and black lines. On the crest of their head, they have a blue spiral. The fur around Ylva’s scruff and chest is thicker and fluffier than the rest of their body until the base of their tail. At the shoulder, xe reaches just shy of three feet tall. In length, they are roughly four and a half feet from nose tip to the base of the tail. Ylva’s tail adds another foot to their length.

Personality: Ylva likes to talk. Xe enjoys company and partaking in random conversation about many different subjects. While it does have a soft voice, some can find Ylva’s constant prattling to be annoying if they aren’t much of a conversationalist. Aside from being chatty, Ylva likes to solve riddles. If you can stump her with a tricky puzzle, you can basically get xem to be silent for an extended period of time.

They have a nurturing, easy-going soul. However, Ylva does not typically handle stress all too well and could end up fleeing in favor for a hiding place. This generally keeps Ylva away from any fights and busy with keeping pups entertained. Their patience seems never-ending but they can get easily flustered which, in turn, can make them frustrated or angry. Ylva becomes snippy and sarcastic then.

Xe has no patience for wolves who don’t wish to take time to learn. Knowledge is a lovely thing to possess in Ylva’s opinion and, if someone does not want to learn (be it from their mistakes or just in general), xe will be the first to laugh at or mock their foolishness.

History: Ylva was born blind, automatically ruling them out of a position for Gamma. Instead, Ylva was raised and trained to help care for the pack. Xir parents had been given permission to have a liter of pups but were disappointed when they only had Ylva. Their father was even more so when it was discovered that Ylva wouldn’t become a warrior. Xe isn’t upset about xir father’s behavior or resulting attitude, behaving as if Ylva wasn’t his pup. Instead, Ylva took to bonding with their mother. You can’t lose what you didn’t have to begin with after all. Beyond that, Ylva grew quickly, healthily, and happily.

Mate Preference: None/ not looking

Username: Narvix

Name: Ulra

Age: Six years, nine months

Gender: Gender-fluid; they/them/their preferred.

Power: Dark Water

Abilities:

It Rises - The markings along Ulra’s body exude dark, oily, liquid that they can then control and use to attack. This liquid can’t come from just one portion or another on their body; it’s either all or none. Additionally, Ulra has a control range of about six feet. Any liquid beyond that cannot be manipulated and, instead, remains useless. Secreting this liquid drains Ulra’s physical strength. Due to this, they can’t use it for much more than an hour and require rest afterwards. [Active]

It Has Many Shapes - Manipulation is not limited to flailing tendrils. Ulra can reshape the oily substance into various things like hollow spheres, solid walls, etc. The only limitation on this is their range of control, physical strength, and the force of impact it can absorb. [Active]

It Protects - Ulra is perpetually covered in a transparent, oily substance. It goes largely unnoticed by others unless they’ve made physical contact. This layer protects Ulra’s body from many types of liquid, regardless of harm level. This layer can be washed away if Ulra is drenched/submerged in water and takes a few hours to replenish after their fur has dried. [Passive]

Appearance: Ulra is dominantly a creamy-white in color with many black and dark purple markings along their body. Standing three feet in height at the shoulder, they are about five feet long. This doesn’t include their tail which is almost two feet in length. Ulra’s ears are a bit more rounded than the average and their muzzle is shorter. With thin limbs, their long fur gives them a more frail appearance.

Personality: Ulra’s an assertive individual who demands respect from their pack. They have little tolerance for having to repeat their words and expect trained members of their pack to fulfill their obvious duties with a small level of direction. Ulra expects order among their wolves and has no patience for chaos.

As an Alpha, Ulra has trained themself to handle various sources of pressure and to stand their ground, even when their pack desires to flee. If dealing with a heavy level of pressure, they will often fall silent and still, usually sitting for however long in order to think of a solution. Being Alpha has driven a sense that the pack depends on them through Ulra’s mind, creating a “fight or die trying” thought process for them. Ulra will do whatever it takes to make sure their pack survives.

History: A lot was expected from Ulra from the day they were born. Born to an Alpha and her mate, Ulra was one of a small, but healthy, liter. All four pups were seen as future Alphas but time would be a testament to their readiness as adults. Ultimately, only Ulra and one of their siblings actually met the stern requirements and, eventually, Ulra became an Alpha to follow in her late mother’s paw steps.

Name: Tobias

Age: 4.2 years

Gender: Male

Power: Ice

Abilities: Blizzard - One of Tobias's abilities is to summon a blizzard, but due to the large amount of energy it requires, he only uses it occasionally. Often summoned by a loud howl, this blizzard is thick yet only lasts for a small amount of time, ranging from as small as a minute to as long as a half an hour. The longer it lasts, the more energy it takes. The air temperature during this blizzard often decreases to a cold -10 (in Fahrenheit), and wind gusts usually reach 50 mph. The amount of light decreases, dark gray clouds taking over the sky when this blizzard is summoned. It often leaves snow on the ground, depending on how long it lasts, but since the temperatures return to normal after the blizzard ends, the snow melts quickly.

Frostbite - Tobias's body temperature tends to drop, especially the temperature in his paws, reaching the negatives. Being a wolf with ice abilities, Tobias can last in very low temperatures, allowing his body to function properly when it drops its temperature. When his body temperature grows very cold, reaching the negatives (again, in Fahrenheit) and freezing or chilling whatever he touches. This usually only freezes surfaces, however, rather than others. In order to freeze others, Tobias has to lower his body temperature drastically, requiring a great amount of energy that exhausts him greatly. Though exhausting, it is powerful, but it works best on smaller-sized opponents.

Ice-Manipulation - Like his other powers, this ability takes a fair amount of energy, but it depends on what Tobias moves/creates. Larger ice-objects take a larger amount of energy, so he tends to stick to smaller things. This ice-manipulation ability allows Tobias to shoot shards to ice out of the ground, or make stalagmites/stalactites, allowing him to injure others. He can create a variety of things and control them, but again, the bigger it is, the more energy it takes.

Appearance: Tobias is a larger sized wolf with a muscular build and a strong bone-structure. He stands taller than most males due to his long legs. Despite his large size, Tobias has a shorter tail than most, to his embarrassment. Tobias has a strong, larger jaw, but happens to be missing a few teeth due to accidents, yet he is still able to function like others when it comes to fighting and dining. His paws are a larger sized, longer and flat with quite a bit of fur between his toes. He has a notable chip in his right ear he received from skirmish, and a few scars every here-and-there.

As for his pelt, Tobias is definitely a wolf somebody wouldn't want to cuddle with. His fur is quite spiking a stiffer, as if it is ice itself. It's fairly prickly, some of his fur (mainly on his shoulders, back, ears, and tail tip) are tinted with blue at their ends. The rest of Tobias's fur is a snowy-white color, his bright blue eyes standing out remarkable well on his pale face. At times, his fur will freeze or become frosted when he lowers his body temperature. When he doesn't, his fur doesn't freeze, and he keeps fairly warm. He can't stand warmer temperatures due to his thicker fur, but it's not like he'll melt. [x] [x] (Ignore my terrible editing to the second photo)

Personality: Tobias, despite his ice-abilities, isn't a cold-hearted fellow. He's a rather calm wolf who can easily keep his calm in situations. He's considered mature because of this. He has a longer fuse, so to speak, and can actually keep his fur flat in an argument of extreme situation. He's pretty "cool", and because of this he's beta. Tobias handles situations in a smooth manner, listening to each sides of the story before making a decision. All because he's calm doesn't necessarily mean he doesn't fight, he simply chooses peace before fighting, as he thinks of those who will be risked. He isn't exactly once to joke around and be relaxed constantly, Tobias's is relatively mature and a work-obsessed.

Tobias, though calm and mature, is always one to speak his mind and stand up for what he believes. He's considered quite bold because of this, though he knows when to stop. He's depicted as a respectful wolf who offers advice often when needed. He knows the boundaries of others and respects that, and prefers to not cross the line unless in extreme cases. But all in all, Tobias is a very hard worker, who always seems to be devoted to his causes and pack.

History: In the beginning of his life, Tobias was a loner, living under two stronger lone wolves. His family was relatively young and quite care-free, which lead to their deaths as they entered another wolf's territory. Tobias was driven out of his home by his parents' murderer, but luckily, he was around the age of one year when this happened. He was a great fighter at the time, but a very poor hunter, so decided to wonder into the Hallowed pack's territory and beg for mercy. He received mercy, and joined as an omega.

Determined to prove himself worthy, Tobias climbed the the ladder, eventually landing himself the position of a Gamma Warrior. He had polished his fighting skills and improved on his hunting skills, and found himself becoming devoted to his pack. Tobias had proved himself worthy, showing great strength and dominance, earning himself a higher position. Three months before Pierce became alpha, Tobias was appointed as beta of the pack. When it came to the time to select a new alpha, he greatly pushed for Pierce, seeing great potential in her.

Username: Brotato

Name: Symaro

Age: Four Years & Six Months old

Gender: Male

Power: Healing (through mysticism)

Abilities:

Trauma Care - Symaro empowers his own or his target's body with revitalizing energy, providing gradual recovery from most injuries. The ability is heavily dependant on the state of the body he is healing, and is most effective at treating minor injuries as a stronger body reacts more effectively to the spell's bolstering effects. If the party is severely injured, Trauma Care can function as a pain killer, but cannot otherwise mend a body that is too broken to mend itself.

Unconventional Methods - After many moons of medical practice, Symaro has become intricately familear with the workings of the body, and the energies contained within those who can use magic. In close proximity, he can siphon this energy, or "Mana" as he refers to it, out of volunteers or unwilling opponents, and use it to empower his other abilities, or transfer it elsewhere to give his allies a boost to their own powers, but with reduced potency. Should he get the opening to siphon long enough, he can effectively disable other magic users from casting spells or using "Mana" based abilities for a while.

In addition to which, his intricate knowledge of the body's workings grants him insight into alternative methods of dealing with injuries, which more often then not match their efficiency with unimaginable pain or discomfort for the patient. His unconventional methods of healing are also almost never applicable in a live combat situation, as they require various utilities, time and focus on his behalf.

Breath of Life - A direct result of his fiddling with the body's vitality and his dedication to preventing the untimely demise of his packmates, Symaro has developed a technique allowing him to whisk patients away from death's clutches, saving them from injuries that would otherwise prove too severe to heal for any conventional herbalist or healer, however the process requires him to siphon vast amounts of energy from a willing volunteer, or use his own reserves with drastic consequences. Breath of life can only re-ignite a dying flame, and although Symaro's ultimate goal is to some day be able to revive the dead, he can not. Breath of Life can save the critically injured, but it cannot save the deceased.

Drawbacks:

Trauma Care: Trauma Care merely speeds one's recovery, or allows one to shrug off minor wounds like scratches or small puncture wounds by sealing them up quickly. While it can sustain a healthy body, excessive bleeding or severe poisoning and other such debilitating effects render Trauma Care's healing potential insignificant. Trauma Care can mend tissue, but broken bones require more time to fuse together again, along with manual adjustment and immobilization of the limb as well. Trauma Care can NOT cure an infection, or a disease, or a poison.

Unconventional Methods: Addressing "Mana" Siphoning, Symaro can only contain so much excess energy within himself. If he wishes to render an opponent magicless, he needs to expel what he'd drained, or risk overloading. Should Symaro overload, his body will go into shock as the energy is violently expelled from him in a random chaotic manner, such as for example setting him on fire, or causing a telekinetic shockwave that fractures his bones, or freezing him in place, or producing a bright flash, blinding him temporarily. In addition, experienced spellcasters and wolves who don't draw power from magical sources are resistant or impervious to siphoning.

Aside from that, his Unconventional Methods, as mentioned, are his primary way to deal with things Trauma Care cannot handle, and are often as unpleasant as they are effective, but demand concentration and the necessary utilities, thus cannot be used in combat.

Breath of Life: Demands a high amount of siphoned "mana" and is exceptionally taxing on Symaro, as he uses parts of his own reserves that are slow to recover. With a willing volunteer for siphoning, Symaro can perform the Breath of Life without sacrificing too much of his own strength, but performing the act itself is taxing enough to leave him quite winded. Should Symaro be forced to use his own reserves, Breath of Life will likely knock him out, or at least leave him delirious and utterly exhausted. As mentioned above, Breath of Life is his last ditch effort at saving someone, and it can NOT revive those who have already died. Symaro can not use Breath of Life on himself.

Appearance: Short description: Symaro's pelt is as white as snow. Despite his occupation, he bares several difficult to notice scars under his fur. His eyes are a pure iridescent green, and most noticeably of all, his front right paw has no nails, while his left has regular nails, with a long sharp bone-like spur protruding from the underside of his front left wrist, stained with the telltale dark red of dried out blood. He usually smells of herbs rather then the typical wolf scent.

Click!

Personality: Symaro is a born carer, through and through. He is compassionate and understanding, and does his best to look at every detail of every story. He has a slightly obsessive curiosity and aptitude for perfection, making him somewhat easily irked when asked to rush or forgo his methods of work. He is nigh impossible to infuriate, and always keeps a leveled temper, as his line of work often demands him to. He mostly keeps his personal opinions to himself, and prefers to give "professional" ones instead. He's also a bit of a hoarder, finding value in almost anything that can be of medicinal use. In his downtime, he is quite sociable.

History: Symaro always had an aptitude for healing. Ever since he was a pup, he was interested in undoing harm, and had plenty to practice with. Having been a single pup, he spent his youth with the Hallowed fixing scrapes and nicks the other pups got while play-fighting. Eventually, he was taken to apprentice with the Deltas in the field of herbalism and wound mending. Quickly excelling, he gradually started developing powers appropriate to his line of work. The knowledge he'd ascertained complimented his atonement to the natural flow of his own body, allowing him mend wounds much more effectively and quickly then the common Delta. Dedicated to his cause, Symaro eventually developed a multitude of techniques that many of the other Deltas didn't quite agree with. These techniques were often seen as brutal and risky, but no one could deny that they were indeed much more effective then the standard procedures were. At the apex of his career as a healer, Symaro developed his ultimate technique, the "Breath of Life" as he called it, and after successfully employing it several times, caught the attention of the Hallowed Alpha. He'd been her Beta for no more then a week now, but life near the top suited him well.

Name: Hawke

Age: Four years, one month

Gender: Male

Power: Frost

Abilities:

Cold Breath - Hawke can expel a thin, cold mist from his mouth. The intensity of the mist can range from simply chilling an object to freezing it completely. Hawke's breath is always cold, evidences by the cold air drifting from his lips whenever he opens his mouth. Anything, whether it be food, water, an unlucky pup's scruff, or any other tangible object, that lingers in Hawke's mouth will cool or even freeze depending on how long it stays there. This makes it so that Hawke has to drink and eat quickly so he doesn't end up gnawing on a block of ice.

Winter's Grasp - Hawke posses the ability to generate ice through touch. In addition to this, he can lower the temperature of objects by chilling and or freezing them. Although Hawke can change just how cold he can make a certain object, the air around him always tends to be somewhat cooler than the current temperature of the area. Hawke has complete control over just how cold he makes an object; however, he cannot manipulate any ice that he makes via touch. This can prove to be problematic if Hawke makes an object too cold and ends up freezing it when he wasn't supposed to. Emotions, especially negative ones, can spike Hawke's abilities, making it so he is unable to control just how cold his touch is. This tends to make him undesirable to be around when his emotions are heightened. High temperatures make this ability hard, if not impossible, to execute.

Frigokinesis - If the temperature is not too high, Hawke can generate snow to fall down to the earth. This can range from light snow to hail to even blizzards depending on the temperature outside. Hawke can mange a light snow shower during spring and summer, raise down hail to bombard the land in autumn, and call forth the rage of a blizzard in the winter. Hawke thrives in cold weather but is completely devastated by hot weather which makes living in an area where the sun shines not easy. He fares poorly in hot weather and will often be forced to reside in shade or stay in a cave to hide from the heat; Hawke can move around in the heat but he is prone to run off to find some shade if exposed to the sun for too long. Even if does manage to find shade, Hawke is still affected by the heat and or humidity of the air and can end up spending an entire day trying to cool himself off instead of doing anything productive. He can only use this ability once a day and will be unable to execute it a second time. In addition, he cannot control the weather conditions he creates.

Appearance: Hawke is a canine of many colors. His back is colored black with waves of cream washing over his shoulders with a gradient of brown fur puffing out where the two colors mix. The top of his head is masked in dark fur with a line of brown extending from in between his eyes and down to his wet, black nose. Round caramel eyes, forever twinkling with mischief, are set upon Hawke's face. From the mid-region of his body down, Hawke's fur is a light creme with a hint of sienna here and there. Hawke isn't particularly large, but he is ridiculously fluffy. His fur is not well-maintained and poofs out into a cascade of lush fur. His teeth, though nothing out of the ordinary, are nicely curved with a fine white hue to them.

Personality: Age has done little to dampen Hawke's childish nature. He is a giant goofball who always has a ridiculous grin plastered onto his visage. He indulges in bad jokes often and absolutely adores hearing soft chuckles or the more frequent groaning whenever he rips out a terrible pun. He is highly sarcastic, using humor as a crutch, as he always finds a way to milk humor out of a situation. He favors wolves who tolerate, or laugh, at his puns and is even more pleased with those who are humorous as well. He isn't completely deprived of maturity as he can take in consideration the significance of a set of circumstances and act upon the matter; however, he tends to result to humor when facing a problem rather than acting like a serious adult. Hawke is compassionate when it comes to assisting the pack and is quite amiable to the other members of the pack. He can be charming and whimsical if he so desires and is always willing to assist others no matter how ludicrous their request may be. Hawke can be somewhat absentminded at times, acting on impulse rather than thinking a situation through clearly. This, often enough, can get him into trouble that he could have easily avoided had he thought his actions through. He cares deeply for the well-being of those in his pack and will not hesitate to try and cheer someone up if they seem blue. Though Hawke means well, he can get nosy at times, prying into things that he really shouldn't be sticking his nose into. Hawke has a especially close relationship with his brother, Shale, with whom he cares for deeply.

History: Hawke, along with his brother, was born to two Deltas who were wholly unprepared for the shenanigans Hawke had in store for them. He was a troublesome pup who stuck his nose where it didn't belong. He would often try to drag Shale along to cause mischief. Sometimes his brother would convince him to stop and think about his actions and other times Hawke managed to drag his sighing brother along with him. Nothing Hawke ever did was extraordinarily horrid but he always seemed to manage irritating one or more of the adults in the pack. As he grew up, Hawke began to lose his taste for pulling pranks and causing trouble and instead turned his attention to helping the pack. He took fancy with rearing pups as he was familiar with their way of thinking and viewing the world in addition to not being great at hunting or any of the other Delta duties he could have chosen. He takes on less tiring tasks such as marking territory and being taken out by hunting parties to scout the land when he is not tasked with taking care of the pups.

Name: Umbria Fengari (Um-brie-ah Fehn-gah-rie)

Age: 7 years

Gender: Female

Power: Moonlight Manipulation

Abilities:

- Eclipse

Umbria can cloak things that give off light or are reflective, such as another wolf. For example, if Umbria stood in the shade on one territory, she could cloak a Light, Fire, or Electric wolf to steal from the other side. She can also cloak reflective things like glass or gems. However, the larger thing she cloaks, the more of her energy she uses, and she cannot attack whilst cloaking lest she uncover her cloaked item. This makes her vulnerable, more so if she's cloaking, say, a wolf. The wolf also cannot see anything living except for Umbria (and plants), so she must guide them. The cloak can help Dark wolves avoid sunlight, as it 'eclipses' them and shields them from light. She is unable to cloak herself.

- Moonlight Healing

During clear nights when the moon is full, Umbria can use the moonlight to heal herself slowly, patching up cuts and wounds and aids her in regaining strength. This only works if she is standing still under the full moon, though, leaving her vulnerable for attack.

Appearance: http://www.stevegettle.com/photos/out-of-the-mist-750.jpg

Personality: Umbria is mysterious and not much is known about her. She normally stays away from others. She used to be warm and welcoming to her pups Gale and Tene, but she avoids them now just as she avoids everyone else.

History: Umbria was born a pale grey pup to two wolves- a Light wolf named Ilios and a Dark wolf named Nychta. The result was a new elemental power- moonlight manipulation. Since there were no other Moonlight-orientated wolves Umbria could not relate to anyone else and stayed magic-less for most of her puphood. One day as a pup, Umbria was caught in a skirmish between a Hallowed wolf and Umbria's father, and Umbria received some deep gashes. That night was a full moon. When she woke up her injuries were almost healed! She began experimenting with this and soon realized it was only healed when she was still or sleeping in the light of a full moon.

A few months went by, moon after moon, until Umbria's first battle as a Gamma Warrior for the Cursed pack. She took a group of four on with only an Air wolf aiding her as she cloaked him to steal food. They were getting dangerously close to the air wolf, but they obviously couldn't see him. As long as Zephyr stayed quiet, Umbria could go about her own business. But alas, the unknowing Air wolf called out to her. She did her best to act like she didn't know where he was, but he didn't understand, forcing her to act confused until the wolves left, confused themselves by her weird acting, and Umbria explained to the ditzy wolf.

Zephyr and Umbria grew closer as the unusual she-wolf became more and more likely to be the new Beta. The time came for the Alpha to choose, and Umbria won the title. Zephyr asked to be her mate, and she accepted.

In her first year as being Beta, Umbria gave birth to three pups, but one, a Moonlight wolf such as herself named Lune, died soon after. The other two, an Air named Gale and a Dark named Tenebris survived.

[refer to Tenebris and Gale's histories for their lives]

When Tene was captured, Umbria cloaked Tenebris long enough for her to escape- Tene could not escape because she was using her powers to stay in her Darkness Bubble so the sunniness of the Hallowed area did not harm her. The only problem was, Umbria had to guide Tene out, eventually sacrificing herself so Tene could go.

Since then Umbria has roamed alone, being afraid to return to the Cursed lands but resenting the Hallowed.

Name: Gale Lovitera (love-it-tear-ah)

Age: 3 Years

Gender: Female

Power: Wind

Abilities:

- Levitation

Gale can float by creating a gentle wind to lift her. She is extremely vulnerable whilst flying as she cannot use any other attacks or defenses whilst in the air lest she fall.

- Whirlwind

Whirlwind is more of an offensory move. She can make small 'tornadoes' to hurtle at enemy wolves, knocking them off their paws and tossing them away from her. It can also be used to move things. It uses little energy, but she can create a larger whirlwind that easily goes out of control and destroys everything in it's path.

For obvious reasons, Gale rarely uses that, and even then only in situations which would be disastrous anyway.

Appearance: http://s2.photobucket.com/user/Shawn_/medi...deWolf.jpg.html

Personality: Gale normally is sweet and caring, normally tending to brutally injured or sick wolves from any side, be it loner, Cursed, or Hallowed. This can get her in trouble but her trusting and kind nature prevents her from turning down any wolf that comes for her aid. She is rude to a select few, such as Tene, whom Gale feels never did anything for her. She can be a bit cocky, being the physically stronger twin.

History: Upon seeing the beauty of the Hallowed lands, Gale was determined to join the pack. Gale joined the Hallowed pack at the first available time and ranked up quickly to a Delta, becoming an experienced healer for the Hallowed pack. She never gave a second thought to her family, eventually forgetting entirely until she saw Tene captured. Gale felt a sense of guilt, but mostly resent. She hated her sister, Gale felt as if Tenebris never did anything for her and always pushed her aside. When her mother, however, saved Tene in return for her own freedom, Gale aided Umbria in escaping; Gale loved her mother albeit loathing her sister.

Ever since then, Gale's lived as an experienced healer and a good friend to most of the pack. She sometimes leaves food near where she last saw her mother, but Gale always catches what she leaves herself.

Name: Fenrir

Age: 3 years

Gender: Male

Power: Sound Manipulation

Abilities and Drawbacks:

1. Shock wave Howl - The ability to manipulate his own howl to such an extent that it creates a physical force capable of blowing back those unfortunate enough to be caught in the blast radius. The drawback of his shock wave howl is that it cannot be localized to a single target, instead covering a large area in front of him. This means that he can only really use this when no other pack-mate / ally is in front of him. Those with sensitive hearing will also be affected by the volume of the howl. How it looks

2. Air Dash - By releasing controlled burst of sound waves from his paws, Fenrir can dash forward at a quick pace. When Fenrir perfects this ability he will be able to momentarily break the sound barrier during the dash causing a shock wave to expand outwards from his body knocking others and objects away. The drawback to this ability is that he can only move in a linear line as well as the rapid depletion of his energy should he use the ability for long periods of time.

3. Sound Nullification - The ability to completely nullify the sound in a given area. The effect radius of this ability expands outwards from his body creating a 5 meter circumference with his body acting as the center. No sound is present in this 'zone' thus he is able to sneak up on his prey or target. This ability in itself is a drawback. When activated, Fenrir is unable to utilize his dash or howl due to the simple fact that no sound exist in this zone therefore there is nothing for him to manipulate.

Appearance: Fenrir's Appearance - Rather slender, Fenrir hasn't really built up the bulk nor the weight to be considered a 'heavyweight'. What he lacks though in physical power, he more then makes up with his natural agility. His slender frame also benefits him in tight situations. Fenrir suffers from a genetic mutation; having been born with heterochromia in the eyes. His left eye is Bright green in color while his right eye is an Orangey/Hazel color.

Personality: Fenrir is no different to your typical boisterous juvenile. Full of energy and full of curiosity, Fenrir is no stranger to the occasional bout of trouble. He aspires to be a warrior of the pack and a valued member, yet lacks the adequate skills and discipline to be consider as such. He views his position as a hunter as just another stepping stone to his progression in the pack and uses it as both a platform to showcase his skills to his superiors as well as a method of honing his skills. He does not like the attention his differing eye colors bring with them, viewing it as a 'curse'. He carries the underlying worry that it will someday lead him to being ostracized by the pack.

History: Unbeknownst by Fenrir, he is not technically a member of the hollowed pack of wolves. Whilst it is true that his mother had once been associated with the pack, it was long after she had severed her ties with them that Fenrir was brought into the world. Having fallen for the charm of a loner; his mother had decided to abandon her position within the pack; instead choosing to join her 'true' love in a life of solitude. His father whilst not aligned with the cursed pack was by no means on friendly terms with the Hollowed wolves either. Having encroached on their territory on multiple occasions; it came as no surprise that conflict arose between him and members of the Hollowed. It was just before a skirmish between his parents and a hollowed warrior that Fenrir was born. Forced into a fight near some cliffs, his parents became cornered against the edge; where the rock's beneath gave way sending them to their death . As the warrior looked over the edge to the ghastly sight below, the faint whining of a newborn pup could be heard echoing through a small opening in the mountains sturdy wall. Unable to take the life of a newborn whose hands had not been stained by sin; Fenrir was brought back to the pack and smuggled amongst a litter of pups in the nursery. It was the least the hollowed warrior could do for a former pack mate.

Username: Narvix

Name: Lycaonia [Lya for short]

Age: 7 months

Gender: Female

Power: Interference

Abilities:

Watch That Feedback - Perhaps the most effect of her abilities. Lya is able to create a dampening field of up to seven feet that completely cancels a wolf’s abilities at best. Otherwise, it makes abilities faulty and untrustworthy for use. Obviously, this means she can’t make use of her other abilities as well. In turn, this ability gradually cancels itself out and does not last for more than an hour.

How this is done can seem a little tricky but it’s simpler than it appears. Emitting a note at a specific level, Lya generates a resonating sound. The note created sends off a number of waves to intercept any wolves within range. Specifically, it intercepts the magical energies that they give off, interfering with the natural patterns that allow these abilities to be used effectively.

Amp It Up! - On the opposite end of Lya’s power, she can actually amplify another’s abilities to a small extent. Using a higher note, she can generate an excited level of energy that complements that of another wolf’s. This takes some practice as she has to learn the specific wavelengths of individual wolves and can’t last for much longer than twenty to thirty minutes. Similarly, this is restricted to her effective range.

Appearance: Lycaonia is a bit small for her age but certainly not without the chubbiness that is associated with growing pups. Covered in soft, multi-colored fur, Lya has blue eyes and short proportions.

Personality: She’s the bubbly, energetic sort. Lycaonia likes to play above all else and can often be seen goofing around with other pups or older members of the pack. She doesn’t understand a lot of the adult concerns and, as such, comes off as ignorant or naive to many. But, what did you expect from a pup?

Since she likes to play more often than not, she often doesn’t know when the situation calls for her to take things seriously. She’ll pester others, even if they are busy, until someone snaps at her. In which case, she’ll go sulk in a corner for a few moments before getting distracted by something else.

She’s a happy-go-lucky thing that prefers to see the good in fellow wolves. However, many can find her a little sensitive to tone of voice. Lya cannot handle stress or ridicule too well, most often ending up very distressed and whimpering as she curls up into a tiny ball. Additionally, when faced with something threatening or terrifying (like the dark!), she’s more likely to run and hide behind the closest thing possible.

History: Lya was born to warrior and hunter Gammas, her mother being the former while her father is the later. However, she has a second mother who is a Delta. All three of her parents are committed mates and have done their best to equally raise her and her sibling. Despite seeing most pups as only having a father and a mother, she doesn’t see anything wrong with her trio of parents and has grown up healthy, happy, and well loved. She aspires to be a hunter just like her father once she’s old enough to begin training.

Name: Skitt

Age: Three years

Gender: Male

Power: Ground manipulation

Abilities:

Golems -- Skitt is able to raise wolf-like creatures from dirt that seek out enemies. They are barely sentient, with their only function being charging into the nearest enemy and destroying themselves. They are very fast but very weak, and a simple attack is capable of destroying them. He can only raise 4 - 5 at a time, and once destroyed he must wait to raise them again.

Adaptive armour -- Skitt is able to "pull" a natural material on to his body to act as armour. This can range from dirt to stone, though the heavier a substance is, the slower he will be forced to move. His eyes, nose, mouth, tail and joints remain exposed most of the time, though he can choose to fully cover himself at the cost of being immobile and blind.

Eruption -- After digging his claws into the ground, Skitt causes a violent eruption at a location, producing a shockwave and splashing a small amount of lava. This also leaves a small crater, the bottom of which is lined with glowing molten rock, which will eventually collapse in on itself leaving barely a trace of its existence. While not particularly taxing, Eruption is volatile and dangerous to use, as Skitt fears he may cause harm to himself or his allies, as well as his opponents due to the debris it scatters. This ability can only be used on dry land and cannot be used on stone, and can only be used a few times before needing a cooldown.

Appearance: Skitt's coat is an earthy mix of black and brown, and he stands at average height. The bones and muscles in his legs are thicker than normal, giving him a stocky build suited for quick, explosive sprints rather than endurance. He's often never clean as loose clumps of dirt, stone, leaves and twigs catch in his fur. [X] [x]

Personality: Often direct in his approaches, Skitt isn't one for nonsense or trickery. He tends to be a realist, basing his observations on proof and physical evidence. He will often distance himself from situations unless they can directly involve him, and does his best to contain his emotions instead of expressing them.

History: An only child, Skitt was overprotected by his parents and did not properly experience the life of a wolf until he was nearly an adult. He was sheltered from any threats and was often kept separate from other wolves his age. He began to grow sick of this and started sneaking out at night, socialising with others and practising his abilities. On the night he discovered his "eruption" ability, the wolves with him were accidentally swallowed by his crater and killed. Terrified, he fled back home and claimed that they were ambushed by the Hallowed pack and he was the only survivor. His story seems to have been believed, but he is constantly paranoid that someone will uncover the truth.

Name: Verdant

Age: Almost one year, a little over 11 months

Gender: male

Power: Nature

Abilities:

Photosynthesis (Passive)- Verdant's fur contains chlorophyll, so when he's in a sunny area, he rarely has to eat.

Growth Seeds- Verdant has several seeds embedded in his fur, and he can use his powers to make them grow, and use them as weapons. There are several different ways he can use them, such as creating bark-like armor or stinging thorns. He can only use one form at a time, so he can't have vine whips and barkskin at the same time. He's also capable of shooting out the seeds, but has to shoot all of them at once. Growing plants takes about 5 minutes, so he can't switch in the middle of a battle, and growing seeds back takes relatively an hour. Growing plants or seeds makes him hungry, even when he's using photosynthesis, so he often has to eat after.

Appearance: Verdant is rather large for his age, and he often has to remind other wolves that he's still a pup. His coat is brown, but due to his chlorophyll, it has a green tinge, looking similar to mossy wood, and is rather sleek. If one looks closely, they could see little black spots on him.

Personality: Verdant is a very calm and collected wolf. He's quiet and observant, and in his free time, can often be seen watching the other wolves work. He tries to be helpful when possible, and if a problem shows up, will offer a suggestion or two. He's rather smart, and can think his way out of several situations, but this talent isn't put to use because he's a bit of a slow thinker.

History: Verdant was found very young by a warrior after a fight with the Cursed, and nobody really knows how he got there. Most of them suspect that he was born to the Cursed, but for some reason was abandoned by his mother. The warrior, whose mate had recently given birth, took him back to the Hallowed's camp and adopted him, as the pups in their litter were around the same age. He never really cared about his biological mother, because she probably didn't want him for whatever reason, so he was completely loyal to the Hallowed. Unlike most pups born outside the pack, he went straight to Gamma, because he was too young when he was found to have any loyalty to the Cursed, and it was clear just how devoted he was to protecting the Crystal.

Mate Preference: N/A too young

Username: earwig

Name: Detras

Age: 4

Gender: Female

Power: Passive bonuses

Abilities:

Warcry -- Detras lets out a loud howl and radiates energy from her body, revitalising herself and nearby allies (with a range of ~10m). Stamina is restored for a couple minutes, but wears off as quickly as it is granted. The ability can only be used sparingly, as it provides diminishing returns. Think of it like a painkiller, but for exhaustion.

Twitch fibres -- Detras can concentrate energy to specific areas of her body to become faster or more powerful. For example, she could concentrate on her jaw to create stronger bites, or her legs to run faster. This comes at the cost of tiring faster, and if used too long it can cause cramps and muscle damage.

Transference -- Concentrating her energy on another, Detras can "absorb" the damage inflicted on another wolf into her own body. The wound appears in the same place and causes the same amount of damage, but heals faster. For this to work, Detras must be touching the other, and it can take anywhere from one to ten minutes to completely transfer. This ability seems to have worked for different types and severities of injuries, though it is unknown if she can sacrifice her life to raise a recently deceased wolf.

Appearance: Slightly shorter and longer than the average wolf, Detras has a slim build, with the muscles around her neck and back more developed than her legs. Detras' coat is a mix of white, brown and black, all layered upon themselves and spread out over her body. Her eyes are a dark orange and burn like the sun. [X]

Personality: As she was born with abilities that work well in a team, Detras believes that maintaining relationships with others is most important to her. She is fearful that she is not as strong as the others when it comes to one-on-one combat, so she will use any tactic necessary to ally herself with others, often through the use of favours. Despite this, she can still become hostile and bitter if wronged, and just as she will go to great lengths to make allies, she will also go to great lengths to get even, and to avoid becoming a pushover.

History: Detras is one of two children of a loner pack, which had settled along a riverbank near where the Hallowed and Cursed grounds meet. She often relied on her sister, Nica, to protect her whilst growing up, and it return she provided her abilities as gratitude. She recharged Nica's energy when she got tired, and healed her wounds when she was injured. The two made a great team together, and they were forced to become closer as both parents aged and eventually died. They attempted to survive together, but quickly wound up starving and unable to provide for themselves. Fortunately, they encountered the Cursed pack and whilst initially being Omegas, they have since risen in status.

Username: TotallyDrow

Name: Aegis

Age: 4 years 1 month

Gender: Male

Power: Energy Manipulation

Abilities and Drawbacks:

[1. Barrier Creation V1 Aegis has the ability to manipulate the natural energy around him into forming large barriers capable of withstanding several blows both magical and physical. Aegis is free to move as the barrier remains adjacent to him, however only one can be created at a time and can be summoned either in front/behind/Above or on either side of his body. To summon another barrier on a different side requires the cancellation or destruction of the previous. there is short interval between barriers if the first was cancelled but that is tripled if the first barrier was completely destroyed. The drawback is that he can only protect himself from one side and is exposed everywhere else, meaning that he is still highly vulnerable to a group attack. The interval between his barriers is also a weakness as he becomes completely exposed, unable to utilize his Version 2 barrier either.

2. Barrier Creation V2 Aegis creates a dome like structure with a circumference of 8 meters around him which can cover his allies, Aegis however must remain in the same spot due to the more taxing nature of this ability. Like the first, this barrier will gradually begin to fall apart as it takes damage and repetitive use will render the user unconscious for a full day as he recovers. This barrier is comparatively more durable then the Version 1 barrier. Those inside are unable to freely walk through the barrier.

3. Bullet Shard - An ability only usable upon the shattering of a barrier. As the barrier begins to crumble, they form glass like shards. Aegis is then able to fire these shards in a linear direction before they fully disintegrate back into energy particles. The drawback is that this ability requires the activation and destruction of his first or second ability and can only be fired oncer per 'destroyed barrier'. Upon contact with another surface, the fragments begin to dissolve into the air leaving a temporary faint glow of light.

Appearance: Aegis's Appearance A fairly bulky wolf, Aegis could be considered a 'heavyweight' compared to others, despite this though he is still fairly agile; more so then one would expect for a wolf of his size. Rather then being snow white though, his fur is more 'dirty' white.

Personality: A fairly level headed and reasonable character, Aegis keeps all four feet on the ground and only concerns himself with the here and now. He rarely speaks about future aspirations or show desire for self progress within the pack. He is driven by his desire to remove the shame of his bloodline but will not result to drastic measures to do so. He understands that the Pack's need outweighs his own and has no qualms about it.

History: Born and raised within the hallowed pack, he enjoyed a fairly stable upbringing among the other wolves. His parents were by no means special, just your typical hard working wolves that helped to establish and contribute to the Pack's growth. The only pup from his parents, he proved himself to be more then a handful for them causing them several headaches and sleepless nights. To the common outsider they were just your normal everyday family however hidden behind this was a dark past that haunted their family line.

During the great war, many of his relatives had shared the rebellers desire and sought godlike power siding with what is today known as the Cursed clan. Family turned on family and blood was spilled forever leaving a blotch of shame on their bloodline.

His parents have now passed away, dying one year apart from one another from natural causes and Aegis has taken it upon himself to rid his bloodline of their shame. With his abilities, Aegis steadily rose through the ranks and has now found himself an established warrior of the proud Hallowed Wolves.

Position: Gamma Warrior

Username: Avialae

Name: Corax

Age: Four years, one month

Gender: Female

Power: Heat manipulation

Abilities:

Ability 1 - Heat Siphon: Corax has the ability to drain the heat out of the things in her nearby environment - not just living organisms, but anything: inanimate objects, water, a burning fire or arc of lightning, and even the air around her, lowering the temperature of whatever she drains as a result. It does not matter if the heat source is natural or magical in nature; as long as there is heat, Corax can absorb it, though magical sources tend to not lose heat in the same manner as natural ones do (though draining heat from a magical source may mean that the wolf producing it needs to expend more effort than they usually do). The heat she takes from her surroundings is then stored inside of her body, which may grow quite hot as a result, to the point where it may become painful for another wolf to come in contact with her. Because she can store heat, Corax is capable of tolerating much higher temperatures than an ordinary wolf, although she does have her limits.

Ability 2 - Heatstroke: Basically the inverse of her first ability, Heatstroke allows Corax to transfer the heat she’s absorbed from the environment and stored inside her body to anything in the vicinity, causing them to grow hot. However, Corax can only use the heat she’s already absorbed into her own body with this ability - if she runs out, or if she doesn’t have a store built up in the first place, this ability is unusable. Corax can’t really use her own natural body heat for this ability either, as it won’t work whenever her body temperature is more than a few degrees lower than average for a wolf, as a safeguard against hypothermia. Corax also uses this ability to prevent herself from losing excess body heat and effectively slow down her metabolism, although this does not mean she doesn’t need to eat regularly, just not as much as she would if she wasn’t doing this.

Both Heat Siphon and Heatstroke have two different modes of operation - one where heat is absorbed/exuded from/into pretty much everything around Corax at one time, but at a low intensity - she is unlikely to be able to alter the temperature of any one thing by more than a few degrees at most, and also only at very close range. (This “mode” is almost never used with Heatstroke, but very often with Heat Siphon, as this is almost effortless for Corax and a good way to build up a heat reserve in case she needs it for anything.) However, if Corax focuses her attention onto one object, whether living or nonliving, she can change the the temperature of what she’s focused on by as much as 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Although she can only use this mode on one thing at a time, it has a much longer range than the first.

Ability 3 - Heat Vision: Corax is able to sense heat around her in a radius of about 150 meters. She can also sense differences in temperature, which basically allows her to use this ability as another form of sight. She can only see shapes and heat, however, and if an object’s internal temperature is the same as the ambient temperature, she cannot see it with this ability, making it somewhat unreliable if it’s too hot out.

Limitations and Drawbacks: The speed at which Corax can alter something’s temperature varies greatly with its mass. Something small like a mouse or pebble can be completely filled or emptied in only a minute, but a large object like another wolf would take about twenty minutes for its temperature to be changed to the point where survival would be impossible for it, if it wasn’t already over- or underheated to start out with. The hotter or cooler something already is, the less time Corax needs to bring its temperature up or down.

Corax cannot use Heat Siphon and Heatstroke at the same time, as they are basically different sides of the same ability.

It would be difficult for Corax to alter a subject’s temperature in the middle of a battle or while pursuing prey, since she needs to concentrate to change things by more than a few degrees, and that would be difficult while she needs to pay close attention to what is going on around her. In addition, if another wolf wanted to stop her from using one of her abilities, all he would need to do is break her concentration, although the changes Corax would have made in her subject’s body temperature until his success would remain until the target changed it by other means.

Appearance: Corax has a slender build, with long, slightly gangly legs that put her on the tall side for a female wolf. Her body is long and thin, but in a way that suggests it is due to genetic predisposition rather than lack of food. She has a long, narrow muzzle with sharp teeth that are just a tiny bit longer than usual for a wolf her size, and long ears that are wide at the base. She has a black coat that turns to dark gray in places, with fur that is coarse, rough, and slightly unkempt.

Personality:Corax may have a quiet exterior, but there is a lot going on inside of her. She is very curious, always wanting to investigate anything new that she sees, and her mind is always working. When she does speak to others, it is often to provide new insight on some issue, though she often has to be pushed for clarification. She tries to look at everything from an unbiased viewpoint, and uses logic to make sense of the world around her. Corax tends to be harsh in her dealings with others, which perhaps contributes to her problems dealing with them, but she does not mean any harm; it is her belief that the truth is just that, and others should not be offended by someone stating it. As a corollary to this belief, she tends not to be annoyed by the harsh words of others, unless they are untrue or are delivered in an obviously insulting manner.

Corax does not care in the least for the power struggles surrounding the Life Crystal; whatever power it may have does not enter into her life at all, at least as far as she is aware, and she is content to leave it alone. She views the Hallowed wolves’ insistence on protecting it as nonsensical at best, as she believes that whatever desire her birth pack once had to take control of it disappeared long ago into the struggle to keep themselves alive in the unforgiving Southern lands. Perhaps because of this, Corax bears no grudge against the Hallowed pack like many of her kin do, though this does not mean she likes or trusts them at all. When she was still a member of the Cursed pack, she had no desire to advance in rank, believing the responsibilities and duties acquired along with the privileges to be more trouble than they were worth. Corax was aware that the entire pack working together was for everyone’s mutual benefit, but still had little trouble striking out on her own as she had no close friends in the pack and did not even really care for most of the Cursed wolves. For now, she desires little more than to live a carefree life, and to not make enemies of either the Hallowed or the Cursed packs.

History: Corax was born as part of a litter of three to a Gamma wolf couple in the Cursed pack. Even before their eyes opened, her two siblings and any other pups in the nursery seemed to avoid her, leaving her by herself as they huddled together even though she was noticeably warmer to the touch than the other pups, probably to avoid her unintentionally siphoning off their body heat. Perhaps as a result of that, once Corax and her siblings were a little older and allowed to go outside for short periods, the dark-furred pup had a noticeably harder time getting along with the other wolves than her siblings, often wandering off to explore by herself for long periods.

As she grew and began to take a more active role in the pack, Corax was gradually able to become more proficient at working in a group, but still seemed fade into the background most of the time and keep whatever thoughts she had to herself, even once it became apparent that she had a talent for hunting the small creatures of the Southern lands due to her abilities. Once she became old enough, Corax was made a Gamma hunter and seemed to take her job fairly seriously, right up until the day about nine months ago where she abruptly announced her decision to leave the Cursed wolves. This came as a surprise to most of the pack as they’d had no idea Corax was thinking about anything like that, even though after the fact it was clear that she’d been planning to leave for some time, even choosing to do so in a time of year when prey was abundant, or at least what passed for it in Cursed territory.

Ever since then, Corax has been living as a loner, and actually has been doing fairly well for herself. She’s been able to catch enough food for herself, has managed to avoid being seriously injured, and doesn’t need to worry about succumbing to loneliness since she is actually more relaxed on her own. The occasional short bit of conversation made with a wolf in passing is really all the interaction she needs.

Mate Preference: Male, but she’s not really interested in finding a partner.

Username: Shiny Hazard Sign

Name: Lark

Age: 2 years, 3 months

Gender: Female

Power: Flight

Abilities: Because she has wings, she is able to fly.

Appearance: Lark is naturally a small wolf, and the malnourishment from the Cursed territory contributed to her stunted growth. However, despite her small stature, she is incredibly fast and agile, which allows her to hit hard and quickly in a fight. Her teeth are sharp and thick, and because she spends a lot of time in the air, her claws are a bit longer than her pack mates and curl as a result. Lark's fur is a colorful arrangement of brown hues; from warm, woody browns, to dark earthy browns, and a smattering of light golden browns and a creamy underbelly. The fur is thick, and appears to have some hydrophobic properties like feathers. Her eyes are a bright gold, ringed in amber. The two wings that she sports also contain the same colors, and are mottled like that of a barred owl. They stretch a wide three feet across each wing. Her feathers are intermittently mixed into her fur along her back, with tail feathers sprouted at the base of her wolf tail to maximize her control in the air.

She carries a long scar across the left side of her face from when Cobalt randomly attacked her, as well as a tear in her left ear.

{x}{x}

Personality: As she has grown older, Lark's personality has changed. She originally started off a sweet, gentle wolf, set on making friends with everyone so that they would stop treating her so poorly. Had she not grown up in the Cursed pack, it's likely she would have become quite a pleasant, friendly wolf as an adult. Alas, the harsh reality of her birth bore down on her at an early age. Constant bullying and abuse caused her to become more prone to violence and aggression; she has bursts of it from time to time, as she has a hard time controlling the emotions that went neglected for so long. As for first impressions, this natural friendliness can be glimpsed; she is intrigued by newcomers and may show them a shred more decency than the others in her pack. However, as soon as she has reason to dislike a wolf it becomes immediately apparent. Should she catch wind of anything she perceives as negativity against her, she will confront the suspected outright. Lark has been known to start-- and end-- many fights because of her aggression. Luckily, with her promotion she is able to channel this internal anger into something more productive.

On a more general scale, if she's not currently bothered by something, Lark can be rather hyperactive and raring to do something exciting. She's a bit bullheaded and quick to jump into anything that appears challenging. This stems from her unspoken need to prove herself to everyone and everything that she deserves to be seen as worthwhile.

History: Lark was a pup born originally to the Hallowed pack. While she does not remember much of her birth family, she knows she had at least two siblings and that her mother was a brown wolf named Jemma. Lark was about three months old when they were taken out on a stroll to see the beauty of their territory, but as fortune would have it, her family came across a Cursed hunting party trespassing for food. There was a fight, and the pups were separated. Lark was hiding in a bush when a female wolf she didn't recognize stumbled across her. At first, Lark was terrified; the wolf belonged to the Cursed, the pack that she had been taught to loathe since birth. However, much to her surprise, the female wolf showed her kindness and began to lick her face. Before Lark realized what was happening, the female grabbed her by the scruff and carted her back toward Cursed territory. Lark never knew what became of her birth family after that.

Because she belonged to the Hallowed, Lark suffered many moons of abuse from the Cursed. The adoptive mother that had taken her from Hallowed grounds cared for her as though Lark was her own, and it was with this wolf, Raina, that Lark formed a strong bond. She vowed to make Raina proud as the female lay on her deathbed when Lark was ten moons old. She stayed an Omega until she reached adulthood, and it wasn't until recently that she was given the title as Gamma because of her great effort to provide for the Cursed and her ability to spy on them from the clouds.

Username: LegendOfKorraFan

Name: Cave Canem

Age: Four years, 6 months

Gender: Male

Power: Elemental Mimicry

Abilities:

Sandman --Cave can change the physical composition of his body to that of sand. While active, Cave’s body has all the properties of sand, such as texture, flexibility, and durability, while still maintaining his regular physical appearance. Physical attacks that may otherwise cause severe injury pass right through him.

Iron Will--Cave can change his body into Iron, a malleable metal. Every part of his being becomes Iron while this ability is under affect. He is also capable of forcing spikes of metal from any part of his body from the existing metal.

Drawbacks --While his alternate forms give him incredible strength (among other properties), each element that his body mimics has their own weaknesses.

While “Sandman” is active, he is incredibly weak against any form of water, be it from an attack, or from rain falling from the sky. Strong gusts of wind also have the chance to slowly erode his skin away. Although he is able to recuperate fairly easily, it is a somewhat lengthy process, and requires a high amount of sand to be present.

While “Iron Will” is active, Cave’s mass increases exponentially, making evading attacks, and general movement difficult. When Cave produces a spike or other object, his body begins to thin until the protrusion is reabsorbed.

Cave’s perception is also lowered, dulling his senses, and forcing him to make decisions slowly and carefully.

Transitioning to and from Elemental Bodies is strenuous, and takes longer the more he does it in quick succession.

Appearance: Cave

Personality: Seeing things to completion borders on an ethical obligation for Cave. Tasks aren't simply abandoned because they've become difficult or boring. Cave takes them up when they are the right thing to do, and they will be finished so long as they remain the right thing to do. A strong will makes his dedication possible, and Cave wouldn’t give up his beliefs because of simple opposition. He defends his ideas and principles relentlessly, and must be proven clearly and conclusively wrong for his stance to budge. Expressing emotions and feeling empathy is his major weakness. Cave gets so caught up in the facts and most effective methods that he forgets to think of what makes others happy, or of their sensitivity. A detour can be breathtakingly beautiful, a joy for the pack, but he may only see the consequence of arriving at their destination, hurting his pack by rejecting the notion too harshly.

History: Cave’s life started off normal, like any other wolf born in Araelia. But when the Hollowed Pack claimed the life of both his parents, he vowed he would exact vengeance on the pack, and has held a grudge ever since. As he grew up, he realized the only way he could achieve his goal would be to become the Cursed’s Alpha. After several failed attempts however, Cave decided that he would try to control the group in a different sense- through food. Due to the Cursed’s desolate territory, finding food was a constant struggle, but Cave however, had a natural knack for it. Thus, he became adopted the title “The Hunter”. He has provided for his pack ever since, with his true goal always in mind.

Name: Anaya

Age: 3 years

Gender: Female

Power: Stealth

Abilities: 1. She has a "ghost mode" that she can go into, making her body slightly translucent and very difficult to make out. It is not complete invisibility, but an unsuspecting wolf could not make her out while she is in this state.

2. She can mask her scent at will, making impossible for prey or predator to smell her.

3. Her paws make no sound, even when walking on dead leaves, twigs, etc.

DRAWBACKS: When she chooses to use one or more of these abilities, she becomes weakened. Her personal strength (running, fighting, biting, etc.), but wounds afflicted upon her are made worse. A bite that would only take a few days to heal might take a month if she aquired it whilst in her "ghost mode", masking her scent, etc. This forces her to avoid combat at all costs, and flee if she is presented with a foe of any match to her.

Appearance: http://e08595.medialib.glogster.com/media/...013-std-jpg.jpg]http://e08595.medialib.glogster.com/media/...013-std-jpg.jpg

***Eyes are amber, and she has ash-grey fur on her muzzle and her paws

Personality: In correlation with her power, Anaya is quiet, and typically doesn't want to be the center of attention. However, she is by no means cold or unfriendly to those who approach her. On the contrary, she is warm hearted and mother-like (to pups in particular), and is always eager to help. She is incredibly clever, and is good at working around obstacles and problem-solving. She holds a good set of morals, and is loyal to the point of death.

History: Anaya was born to a pair of lone wolves attempting to stay put of the conflict. They had lived a comfortable life until Anaya and her two brothers were about 8 moons old. The family accidentally came across a scrabble between Hallowed and Cursed wolves, were assumed Hallows by the Cursed, and attacked. The Hallowed were unfortunately outnumbered, so all but Anaya were killed. The two remaining Hallow wolves took the newly orphaned pup in, and she was raised as a Hallowed wolf from there.

Username: Brotato

Name: Otto

Age: 4 years and 9 months

Gender: Male

Power: Spiritualism

Abilities:

-Stand Among Them: Otto leaves his body behind, releasing his spirit to roam free. While he can go as far away from his body as he pleases and isn't directly affected by whatever happens to it, he still values it, for it is his primary way to interact with the physical world. Should it be attacked and killed, he will perish just like anyone else. While detached from his physical form, he can see and interact with other spirits around him, as if he was one of them.

-Walk With Me: By tethering his soul to another willing participant, Otto can either forcefully purge hostile entities from someone's physical body, cleansing them of possessions, magic dampening or blocking effects and curses or other magical effects. In addition, he can use the tether to gently coax the spirit out of a willing body, allowing them to Walk Among Them with him. This is the only way Otto can verbally communicate. Once Otto un-tethers himself, the participant's spirit immediately returns to its host body, without any ill after-effects.

-Astral Transmission: Devoted to his passive ways, Otto has forsaken violence and developed one reliable way to get out of trouble. He has gained the ability to alternate between controlling his body and his spirit at will. In addition to which, he can de-materialise and switch the places of his physical body and his spirit at will, allowing him to protect it should it be attacked. He is, however, wary of exposing both to danger, as that would render this first and last line of defense useless.

Drawbacks/Details:

Stand Among Them: Leaves Otto's physical form extra vulnerable to magic-based attacks. As a spirit, he is impervious to damage, but also has no way of causing it himself. He is not invisible as a spirit, and manifests as a semi-translucent glowing blue spectre of his physical form. As a spirit, he can not interact with the physical world directly, and can phase through barriers like walls and doors, but can not phase through anything wider or thicker then his overall length. He can not fly, but can take exceptionally long jumps. More often then not, the spirits he perceives are those of the wandering dead who have willingly chosen to remain on the mortal plane for one reason or another. Not all dead end up like that.

Walk With Me: While tethered, he can not use Astral Transmission, and is vulnerable to attacks.

Astral Transmission: As mentioned, to attain this ability, Otto has forsaken violence. He will not and can not cause harm to another living being.

Appearance:[X]

Personality:

Otto is mute, which makes him as distant that distant can be. Clinging firmly to his neutrality, he finds solace in solitude, and rarely ever approaches another wolf. However, he is quite curious. More often then not, he silently observes the actions of those around him, be that Hallowed, Cursed, or neutral like him. Content with letting things run their natural course, he is detached from the problems of others, and acts only if it means self-preservation. Having spent a great amount of time conversing with the deceased, he spends his downtime contemplating their claims and motives, hoping to draw some sort of sagely wisdom out of the departed. He is, bizzarrely enough, fully herbivorous. As distant and disdainful as he might be, though, Otto still has the most base of needs that any other wolf might have.

History: Born and raised with the Hallowed, Otto lead a solitary lifestyle, as a born pup with two stillborn siblings, from the first of two litters. Always the oddball, he didn't find much companionship especially after his powers started to manifest. He was not like the rest, with their flashy abilities of breathing fire or moving things without touching them. Otto's abilities started when he began seeing and interacting with entities that no one else seemed to see or hear. As a result, he was frequently mocked as a loon who talked to himself and had no special abilities by the other pups. Gradually, he grew quieter and more drawn into himself as the months passed, much to the concern of his parents. While others laughed, screamed and cried, Otto simply listened. To him, the problems of the living paled so much in comparison to those of the dead, that a shroud of apathy for his fellow wolves had started to cloud his mind. Feeling like there was nothing left for him within the ranks of the Hallowed, Otto willingly departed one night, leaving behind no footprints, no scent, nothing. It was as if he'd vanished into thin air from the omegas' den. He was never found, and to this day, continues to haunt the forestlands residing between the Hallowed and the Cursed. Recent events, however, have shaken him from his passive lifestyle. He may once again become involved in the affairs of the two rivaling packs.

Username: Avialae

Name: Uriel

Age: Three years, five months

Gender: Male

Power: Light

Abilities:

Blinded by the Light - Uriel can increase the reflective properties of the light around him in a radius of about twenty feet so that surrounding surfaces and even the sky will suddenly start to appear as bright as the sun, temporarily blinding any wolves in the vicinity. However, this ability does not work at night or on objects that are a very dark color (black, dark brown or purple, etc.) as they naturally reflect very little light. Uriel is also at risk of being blinded as well by this ability if he for any reason opens his eyes while he is using it.

Dynamite with a Laserbeam - Focusing his energy together, Uriel releases a wide beam of white-hot light out his fur that badly burns - at best - pretty much anything it comes into contact with. He can only make one at a time, although it is possible for him to make one right after another. Although he can control their initial trajectory, Uriel cannot control these beams of light after he releases them, and he is as susceptible to them as anything else if he somehow gets in their path once they are flying free. If Uriel has to generate more than five beams of light in the span of a half hour, he will become physically tired, and it will become very difficult for him to make another for the span about an hour, and it will take about two or three hours after that for the ability to become fully recharged.

Appearance: Uriel is a large wolf, with muscular legs and a broad chest. The long hours he has spent training to fight the Cursed pack have given him a fighter’s instincts, and this is apparent in the fluid grace that flows through his body every time he moves. His entire coat is pure white, and glows softly in the dark, although he can stop it from doing that if he concentrates. He habitually sharpens his front claws on pieces of wood to keep them from getting dull. His eyes are an icy light blue, but have a coldness to them that have nothing to do with their color.

Personality: Uriel is stern and serious, without much in the way of a sense of humor. He takes his job seriously, and isn’t much for relaxing or joking around with other wolves. While he respects those above him in rank or those he sees has is equal, he tends to be harsh and unforgiving towards younger wolves and those he perceives as beneath him, giving out harsh punishments for minor infractions. While not exactly arrogant in manner, Uriel definitely has a self-important attitude. He tends to filter every bit of information he comes across in terms of how something will benefit him or make him look better in the eyes of others, only taking consideration of others into account as an afterthought. Although Uriel wants to be viewed favorably in the eyes of others, it’s nearly impossible for him to truly view things from another’s viewpoint, so when he’s around others he tends to try to do things that would stereotypically be considered “good,” without taking the individual situation into account. Uriel believes that the Hallowed pack is inherently superior to the Cursed pack, using the facts that they have been entrusted with the task of guarding the Life Crystal and that the Cursed tried to steal its power to justify this belief, and would happily slaughter the entire Cursed pack down to the smallest pup if he had the opportunity, believing it is only what they deserve. He tolerates wolves that have been accepted into the Hallowed pack after leaving the Cursed, but only because the decision to let them in is up to the alpha of the pack. Uriel is very ambitious, having his eye out for a chance to gain a Beta spot and hopefully even become Alpha someday, although fortunately he respects Pierce too much to try to challenge her for the spot.

History: The son of a Gamma father and a Delta mother, Uriel originally had a brother as well, but he died several days after their birth, though not even the healer Deltas were completely sure why. Uriel’s parents reacted to the death of their second son by completely doting on their first. From his earliest conscious moments, Uriel learned that he was the center of both of his parents’ worlds, the most important thing in their lives, and as he began to explore the world around him he naturally interpreted things from that point of view. Because of this, Uriel had some trouble getting along with his peers when he was first introduced to them, but that stopped once he learned about the history of the Hallowed pack and their duty to protect the Life Crystal. He was finally able to justify his deeply held belief that he was special, and was also able to accept that his pack members were special as well, though not necessarily to the same degree. As he grew into adulthood, Uriel became extremely dedicated to his duties to the Hallowed pack, viewing himself as a holy warrior playing a part in a war against the forces of evil personified by the Cursed pack, and spent long hours training his body so that he would be ready to fight when the time finally comes to wipe them all out for good, and also so he can someday make good on his desire to rise up in the pack’s ranks. Lately Uriel has been beginning to think that it might be a good idea if he took a mate, as he wants to have pups so he can leave a lasting imprint of himself on the future.

Mate Preference: Female only

Alliance: Hallowed

Position: Gamma Warrior

Username: Narvix

Name: Ambrose

Age: 2 years, 7 months

Gender: Physically female - male pronouns desired

Power: Physics Infringement

Abilities:

You Can’t Stop Nor Move Me - Ambrose is able to change his mass, increasing it to make it harder for an object to hinder his motion or for an outside force to move him. This only lasts for about five minutes. [Active]

Speed It Up or Slow It Down - Within a range of three meters, he can increase or decrease the acceleration of a physical object around him. Ambrose can only manipulate the acceleration of four objects at most. This manipulation weakens with each additional object he focuses on. Additionally, he can only enforce such control for roughly a minute. [Active]

Have A Little Reaction - For every action, there is a reaction. Ambrose is able to significantly increase his mass to prevent physical harm done against him. In turn, the force used to strike him is done against whoever/whatever intended to hurt him; like punching a brick wall. However, this leaves him immobile until his mass decreases back to normal, about two minutes after activation. Additionally, he can only use this ability twice, effectively, before needing a long rest so determining when to best use this ability is important. [Active]

Appearance: Ambrose is mostly covered in dark fur that vaguely lightens as it nears his underside. The fur around his muzzle and chin is white with streaks of gray along the edges. Flecks of rust brown highlight his coat. At about average height and length, he has a sturdy build.

Personality: He’s a big sap for all things romantic, charming, or downright cheesy. If it looks like two wolves are interest in each other, he’s usually the first one to point it out and try pushing them together. Ambrose is a goofball with hardly an angry bone in his body. He’s the dramatic one that will chant “love conquers all!” No, he’s not immune to becoming angry but, he does a good job at holding back impulsive words and, instead, works to make the situation uncomfortable for the one who made him mad.

Troubled times are pretty much all he knows from growing up, so he’s made it his undeclared job to try and keep things light and cheery. Especially if it involves flirting with another wolf and invading some personal space.

History: Ambrose was formerly named Andronda, born to Delta parents but soon adopted by a Gamma after his mother left the pack to a loner. Raised by two fathers, Andronda didn’t show much talent for fighting or hunting, quickly ushered into the role of a Delta. At around the same time, Andronda declared that she wanted to be called Ambrose and seen as a male instead of a female by his pack mates. His life has so far been on the average, dealing with the same struggles as the rest of his pack.

Mate Preference: Any/All

Alliance: Cursed

Position: Delta - Wants to be a Gamma Warrior

This roleplay seems really cool. I'm not sure if I want to join yet, but I definitely will keep an eye on this regardless. If I do join, I would prefer to RP as one of the Cursed, just as an FYI in case it's important.

Tha's totally fine! I'm not sure if any of the original people (from the actual original or the original remake) are even around anymore, heh.

I'll mark one of the Beta slots down for you.

Is the Cursed ranks seperate from the Hallowed ranks?

Is the Cursed ranks seperate from the Hallowed ranks?

? Yes, they are two separate packs.

Just as a side note, I realized it's a bit silly to continue to call it Howl to Me II, since it's technically the third installment. Will be changing that shortly.

Hahaha, I had just posted my wind wolf's profile right before I noticed Tenebris's profile with Gale in it xd.png

Yeah, duplicate powers are fine. I would just rather different abilities are used, if possible. The same drawbacks is cool with me.

Position: Beta? (otherwise Gamma Warrior.)

I'm curious. Currently, I'm debating about using the powers and abilities of my wolves from the previous version but I don't have the old sheets so all I remember is the music power. Do you happen to have copies of my former characters?

Secondly, I don't know what the limitations are for fur and eye color. Same with markings.

Third, would I also be allowed to reserve an alpha for Cursed? Or am I limited to one higher-up position?
