 Welcome to the Breast Cancer Hope Lineage!   Every 68 seconds a woman dies from breast cancer. This lineage is to raise awareness of the disease and spread hope for a cure. Will you join us?  This lineage was originally started by iwishiwasindixie and will continue as true to the concept she set up as possible. This is a Dorkface-style lineage, where all dragons will be descendents of Dixie’s original pair Emily Hope (IPjs) and Candleray (S7KF). Since Dixie’s scroll was lost, they now appear in the lineage as wild dragons, but can be identified by their codes. ------------------------------------ Important Rules ------------------------------------ 1. Once you have a Hope egg you must not kill it, abandon it, or freeze it. 2. You must name it and Hope must be included somewhere in the name. Other forms of the word Hope are acceptable, such as Hopes, Hoping, etc. If in doubt, please ask before naming your dragon! (rule revised 3/3/2010) 3. It must breed for life with a CB (caveborn) new pink dragon. The CB you want to use in the lineage must be childless, and the Hope pink must be its first mate. 4. Once your Hope has grown you may keep its offspring, but it would be appreciated if you would help spread the lineage by gifting to others on the list. Please do not pass your Hope offspring to people who are not on the list without checking with one of the active thread monitors. (revised 11/19/2011) 5. To be put on the list to receive a Hope egg you must at least have 7 adult dragons, and less than 2 dead anything. 6. This is a purebred new pink lineage. Do not mix other breeds/lineages into it . It is to be a pure pink Hope lineage, no Dorkface, Opalescent, etc. --------- FAQ --------- Q: How do I get a Hope egg? A:First of all you must post here and ask to be added to the wait list. Once a thread mod has approved you for the wait list, you should PM one of the breeders listed in the post below this one to politely request that they breed you a Hope egg. Q: Can I freeze/abandon/kill it? A: Are you serious?? (meaning answer is no) Q: Is inbreeding allowed? A: Eh...nopers! I hope you are a careful breeder... *please no inbreeding* Q: Does my Hope's mate have to have the same surname? A: No, not at all! This is an inspiring project, I think I can join in about a week's time

It must breed for life with a CB new pink dragon. The CB you want to use in the lineage must be childless, and the Hope pink must be its first mate. I found a CB pink, she/he'll be hatching in 4 days and 21 hours, so will be a grownup in about 4+ days. Once your Hope has grown you may keep its offspring, but it would be appreciated if you would help spread the lineage by gifting to others on the list. I'd love to! You must at least have 7 adult dragons, and less than 2 dead anything. My very first egg, a daydream, died of soft shell, since then I've been extra careful about each egg getting balanced views and avoiding soft shell totally. I'll reach a total of 7 adult dragons in 23 hours from now. This is a purebred new pink lineage. Do not mix other breeds/lineages into it . It is to be a pure pink Hope lineage, no Dorkface, Opalescent, etc. Yes sir! --edit-- Oh no! My Hope egg just Hatched

The CB hatchie I got from Aussiemum grew up, and I tried breeding her with my Hope, and this is the result. I think I'll keep the first egg, but I'll be happy to breed for anyone else later ^^,
