WildDragonFlying: That sounds like a good, sound plot. Egypt is one of the best places to write about- I hope all goes well with you.
To be honest, I've been slacking. I've got 14k words written now, and I feel absolutely horrible. O_o |

I am so far behind my personal goal on word count. And I'm falling behind on the site goal, too. I'm at 26026 words, and I've gotta write 5k today in order to catch up at all, and it sucks, 'cause I just started chapter 6, and the whole story has been info dump with minor moments of action and stuff so far. There's just so much info to give to the reader, and I couldn't space it out.
 On a good note, somewhere in the chapter I'm writing the story picks up. On a bad note, the next chapter will be very, very disturbing, because this science fantasy story is NOT designed for escapism; it's very real and nitty-gritty and will not be fun to write in some parts. /waste of words that could be going to the story |

22k words. ^^ I haven't gotten past chapter three yet, so I'm sure this will be a real bore for my audience. Ah, I can smell the halfway mark coming up.
