I've seen so many topics with people asking people to click their eggs here, even though it's in the rules that you can't do that.
Mods and members who know the rules have posted time and time again that asking for clicks aren't allowed. And time and time again members have posted good places to post so you can get clicks. I just thought I'd make a topic specifically for this, so maybe we can stop some of those topics and stop typing out the same thing over and over again. And just so you know: this is not against anyone. This is just really to get this all in one specific topic. So here we go!

Dragon Cave Fansite
This easy to navigate fansite lists many members eggs. Now with a new feature so you can just go to the site and enter you scroll name so your dragons can be automatically added, making it much easier on the creator. A special place for emergency dragons, too. Plus other fun things like a description generator (though it's not fully working) and a chat. Be sure to read the FAQ though, and go and give out some clicks.

Daily Dragon Fix
Register your scroll and then make sure to click at least twenty other dragons! This site is great for views and clicks, and makes sure that all users stay active. Inactive users will be rewarded by being removed from the list. So be sure to stay active, give out clicks, and you'll get plenty of views and clicks!

Egg Rescue HQ
A well-kept Click Exchange site. Organized and helpful! And what a cute name. This site was made just for your Dragon Babies. But of course - you are expected to click back. In fact, it's in the rules! But this site is also new. So join now and help the numbers - and your dragons - grow.

Soti-Dragon
A very well-organized and put together site for dragons. There are plenty of dragon tips and answers, as well as a place to post them. Another bonus is that this incredible site is self-serve. This requires no registration, and it's definitely worth it. Go ahead and check it out - it's sure to help! Be nice, though, and give out a few clicks.

Eggs Will Be Dragons
A great name, an awesome looking background, and another self-serve hatchery - oh my! Add your own dragons, feel special by helping to clean out dragons that don't belong without being a mod, and give clicks without having them pop-up in another window or tab. You can even trace lineage. Very cool.

Dragons Eggs 4 Clicks
Just another dragon hatchery to post your eggs and click others back. Make note of the rules and how to ask for your eggs to be added to the hatchery, though. Boy how it has grown since it first began. Many more members and boards for you to mess around with. Have fun.

Dragon Nest
Yet another hatchery type forum. This one has a few more forums though, so post your eggs, get to clicking others, and then hang out and chat or play games.

Dragon Pen
Dragon Pen. Another Dragon hatchery site just for your dragons. Read carefully on how to get your eggs and hatchlings added. And be sure to check back often and give others a few clicks!

Dragon Cave Nursery
Go here to add your scroll and get your Dragons Added. This nice forum is split into two hatcheries. One specifically for eggs and the other just for hatchlings. Be sure and give a few clicks back though.

Dragon Paradise
Hey, lookit that! Another little hatchery site. Of course - read the rules. But there's also a dragon discussion and a general chat section. There's also an arcade to mess around in, while waiting for dragons to grow up. But be sure to give a few clicks before getting addicted!

DC Nursery
What's this? Why, it's another Dragon Cave Nursery! Don't worry, joining is free. There is an emergency dragon section. The rest is scrolls. Of course do some clicking - especially in the emergency area. The only other thing asked is when you sign up there use the same username you do on here, and PM your scroll to a mod.

Egg Hospital
Post your scroll here to get it added to this nifty little site. Be sure to give a few clicks to any other scrolls you see up there. And if you know how to add an egg to the site, apply for staff and tell the creator how to do it, so the little dragons can automatically get views every time someone visits the page.

Dragon Roost
A nice little guestbook service where you can go and post your scrolls and ask for clicks. But must I prod you go click on some other scrolls, and maybe even click some eggs on the scrolls? Well then. *prod*

The Dragon Playground
A new hatchery which might give your eggs/hatchlings a few clicks, and it's also a friendly community! You need to click the eggs/hatchlings daily. But that shouldn't be a problem, with all the pretty dragons to look at and the psychedelic background to be distracted by.

This site is more than just pretty. It's organized and there seems to be a forum for all your dragon needs, plus fun forum games, and a place to chat and get to know other members. Dragcave - We Help You
This new hatchery site needs members and mods. But that shouldn't be too hard. Take a look around and notice the nice set-up, the chat area, and a general discussion forum, all aside from the places to put your dragons, ask for trades, and other dragon whatnot's.

Lair of Dragons
Ever wanted all of your dragon (and other adoptables) needs able to get help and more in just one spot? Well, now you can. Post drawings and chat (in forum topics or in the chat box) with other members and get to be part of a great community. Make sure to return the favor of the views you receive, though.

DC Pro Forum
A small forum dragon cave site. You don't see much as a guest, but join for free and you'll probably have lots of fun and get some views for your dragons while you're at it!

The Cracking Egg
What a cute name for a dragon hatchery site! You will need to read the rules and then click here and follow the link to get your dragons added. Be sure to give clicks back, and maybe thank the owner for all their hard work on creating the site!

NOTE: Sorry, guys. This site is probably going to be gone for good. Holding up a hatchery where you're doing all the adding is hard work, especially if your site is popular. And when you have something like school to also have to deal with you have to organize your proprieties. So this site is probably gone forever.

Hatchling HQ
Inspired by the DC fansite this accepts your hatchlings and your eggs. There are even forums there to chat and hang out on. Just be sure to give the dragon's a few clicks!
NOTE: This site seems to have disappeared from the url I have. Anyone with information as to whether this was really deleted or just moved please PM me or post in this thread with information.

NOTE: This site is also gone/missing. Some official information would be nice.

Yarold's
Make sure to read the new rule I've linked.
Yarolds is a click exchange site in which by clicking other peoples links you earn credits, once you run out of credits your link no longer shows. On Yarolds you post the link to your scroll, which allows ALL of your eggs, hatchlings, and dragons to get a view/unique view at the same time. Also, if you post your scroll people will know what to do. Don't worry.
Tips:
- Never directly link to eggs/hatchlings unless they've already gotten plenty of unique views. (Many first time Yarolds users make this mistake with deadly consequences).
- I recommend joining a Dynasty (the equivalent of a guild), because you earn more credits, and lose less credits for all clicks with the Dynasty list. Dynasty members are also more likely to give your eggs/hatchlings clicks than random people from the main page. Dynasties also sometimes have competitions (with credits as prizes). It should be mentioned that you should really wait a while to join a dynasty. Hang out a bit and learn what's what, and get into the groove before joining a dynasty. Also; joining a dynasty makes sense if you are a "heavy clicker" and enjoy clicking links that other people post. It only makes sense then to join Yarold's Link Exchange if you are certain that you will return and click to earn a positive credit balance.
- FireFox add-ons like Snaplinks and Flashblock really save a lot of time and make it easy to get several hundred clicks done in less than an hour.
- If you also play Valenth: it's best to "rig" your pet, most players do, and thus sometimes people will forget they need to pick a food to feed the pet.
*note* Yarolds does now have a "care" test in place that checks for users that do not complete "clicks" for websites (some games require you hit a continue button or fill in a form)...if your rating is too low, you will no longer be able to see links for games like DragCave (this includes your own link!)
- NEW RULE
- Here is a link to a Desperate Clickers forum that is a part of Yarold's. Posting eggs or scrolls anywhere else on this forum is considered eggspam.
- Here is a link to a dragon clicking dynasty, with newbie and dc friendly people! Is connected with the Elite Clicks comm on LJ, so you can be sure you'll definitely get a nice amount of clicks.

Thanks to Aphotic Phoenix for explaining Yarold's! And thanks to Grandpa for some excellent advice here!

NEW NOTE: Since DC got a .net domain you will have to add a www. in front of your links for them to work.

Hydra
I just recently learned of this site which quite a few members of gaia recommended to me. It's another click exchange site, like Yarold's. But be careful. Sometimes there's no one there and you will only get a few clicks, but if you hit it at the right time you might want to hide your eggs/hatchlings for a while, or they might die of too many clicks. Of course, you're expected to click other's dragon's back.

Dragonspam on LiveJournal
The rules are right there for you to see. You can only post once every 24 hours, and they have a special way they want you to post. Of course you are expected to click back - seriously, it's just the polite thing to do. You have to be a member of LJ to join, too.

Elite Clicks on LJ
This community is affiliated with Dragonspam. It's small, stricter, but in the end, worth it. Make sure to read the rules, and be a dedicated clicker. You won't regret joining this tight community, especially as how you're allowed to post other site adoptables.

Dragonspam2 on LJ
Another little place on LJ to post your eggs. Membership will be moderated but I'm sure when you guys start joining (and giving back clicks) you'll get plenty of views and clicks. It is new though and needs some help. Ashgaelsonaria (on here) is looking for some good sketch artists to set up backgrounds, someone knowledgeable in HTML, and a good speller too write out the rules and such.

Dragon Emergency Room on LJ
Just another moderated dragon saving community on livejournal. Go post eggs in need and be sure to click some other eggs. Help raise that eggs saved number beyond any expectations!

The Hatchery on LJ
Another LJ dragon postage community. Post your scroll and eggs and have them added to the community. Be nice and click a few, though.

Dragonspam on InsaneJournal
Just like the spam topic on LJ. Read the rules and don't forget to give clicks back. You do have to be a member of IJ to post though. Just fair warning.

Dragcave Guild on Gaia
This is a very popular guild on gaia, and is free to join. It's also public, so you can post even if you're not a member. There is an egg sanctuary where they rotate out the dragons when they grow up. They have them all nice and organized by breed, even. Just ask for them to post your code and your eggs and hatchlings are put up. They also ask you submit a certain way - code it and either post an unlinked image or tell them what breed it is.
They also have a subforum for eggspam. There is a mass eggspam topic where you can post your eggs and hatchlings and get tons of clicks. And you are allowed to use BBCode there, which is blocked in the rest of gaia right now - but there's a petition to end that.
And of course: clicking others is expected.

Dragon Cave Guild on Gaia
This guild is private and has an entry fee of 50 gold. There are much less people here, but I'm sure it wouldn't mind growing. There is just an eggspam topic where you are expected to give clicks in return.

The Dragon's Lair Guild on Gaia
Another guild on gaia meant for helping your dragons, and there is no entry fee. They have a clickables and creatures subforum where you can post your eggs and get clicks. There is a fair amount of members there, and they expect your clicks back.

The Incubator Site
The site where you can get incubators also has a board called Dragons where there is all kinds of eggspam to be found. Feel free to post your eggs there. But please, give clicks back.

Valenth Board
You know those things in tube like cases that you feed so they can eventually hatch and grow up? Well, someone there started a board where you can post your dragons and get clicks. I haven't personally used it but there are tons of dragons there so hopefully lots of people click. Which of course means - you are expected to give clicks back.

Pets Galore
A nicely set up site for your dragons and your valenth pets! Chat, blog, post pets, games, and a shout box. So go and don't be afraid to post your dragons (and give clicks back. Then stay occupied by messing around in the rest of the site.

DeviantArt DCChat
Hey, lookit that! A nice pretty place to put your dragons on in DA. For all you awesome and inspiring artists out there.

Flyff Forums Spam Topic
A spam topic on flyff forums where people will be glad to click your eggs and hatchlings. But be careful! It moves fast, so you might want to hide your dragons for the first day or so. And if you see anyone else posting dragons, I'm sure they'd appreciate a click back.

Subeta
First and foremost you can create a textbox to place your dragons in. Very useful to keep your dragons in your profile! If you don't feel that is enough, though, try the Subeta places right below, in this same description.
Hatchery-Style Thread
This hatchery-style thread in Subeta allows to to post your eggs and have them added to the first page. But be sure to give some other clicks while there.
Generic Clicking Post
Here is an eggspam topic in Subeta. Post your eggs and give a few clicks back.
Stickied Eggspam Topic
A nice stickied topic to cut down on the individual posts popping up. Post here and you'll be sure to get a lot of views. Be sure to give out a few clicks, though.

Brawl In The Family
Yay for massive eggspam topics! But yay without the massive amounts of guest spam, please. If you want to post your eggs here you'll have to register, and hopefully take part in the real site, and have fun there, along with having fun getting your dragons to grow. And don't forget to be nice and give a few clicks out.

Take the Helm --> Dragons
A nice forum with a hatchery for eggs, hatchlings, and even adults! Of course you have to click back, though. And while you're there, don't forget to check out the rest of the forum. There's tons of other things to do there. I'm sure you could amuse yourself for hours while getting clicks for your dragons.

Colossal Anime Forums
A nice little forum created by one of our own members. No, it's not all about Dragon Cave, but I'm assured that dragons would be welcome. Clicks for you, and from you will be encouraged. Now with it's own little section for posting eggs. But be sure to check out the rest of the forum. It's got quite a nice number of members, and now has a nice arcade place with tons of fun games. So go. Check it out!

Cave of Dragonflies
An eggspam thing on a Pokemon forum. So if your a fan of Pokemon with your own dragons, this is definitely the site to go to! Make sure to give clicks back though. Though know that this is not only for dragons, so be prepared for other pet-like things there.

Roliana Forums
Another eggspam topic. Not an eggspam website but the link leads you to a nice eggspam topic where you can get plenty of clicks. And of course - give clicks back.

Carnage Blender
Once again; another eggspam topic dedicated to...eggspam. This site isn't a DC site either, but you'll get quite a few clicks for your dragons. Click on other's though, please.

Club Penguin Eggspam
A whole big section on Club Penguin dedicated to dragonspam and all other kind of dragon stuff. So go and check it out. It's called Club Penguin for gosh sakes. I bet there's tons of things to do there. Especially giving clicks back!

Groph Land
Cute little pet site now with it's own eggspam topic! You have to be a member to post here though.

Menewsha DCAA
Menewsha. Like gaia, kind of, but smaller and less cluttered. Doesn't mean there aren't plenty of dragon cave luvers there, though! So post in the egg spam spot, give clicks back, and maybe check out the rest of the site.

Freedom
A whole brand spankin' new forum with a nice cozy forum to post your dragons at. But be sure to give clicks back.

Wyndy Wytch Dragon Spot
Go here to post whatever dragons you need. Then go chat with the other members. Take fun tests, learn about each other, whatever. Just don't forget to give some clicks before you chat!

RoleplayGateway Official Help Topic
Kind of slow moving, but I'm sure if you all went there and asked for help it would grow and more views and clicks (which you should politely give back) will be had. Be nice though and converse. Tis more fun that way. And then go enjoy some awesome roleplaying!

Dragon Egg Display
Finally varus users, there is a place to put your dragons up. It comes with a dragon sanctuary, so spamming is a no-no, but I'm sure you'll get plenty of views and a few clicks from this. Be sure to click some back, though, and make other dragon keepers happy!

Adoptables Paradise (Dragcave Section)
An adoptables paradise, with a place to post just about every adoptable ever. Including our favorite dragoncave dragons! Read the rules first, and then give out a few clicks.

Truth Fullie
Special egg and hatchling hatchery topic. Post them in code to get them on the first page, and then maybe give a few clicks out. Then go RPG your brains out!

Dragon Daycare on JournalFen
Are you a member of JournalFen? Do you have dragons? Than you're in luck! JournalFen does have a place to post your dragons to get views and clicks. Return the favor and help out others, though.

Cafemom
Hey all moms out there, trying to raise dragons and kids! Ever heard of cafemom? It's the perfect place to be an online mom, and talk with other moms, and it now comes with a place for your adoptable kids! So have fun and give some clicks out!
C-L-I-C-K My Eggs!
A cafemom group started just for your adoptables!

DragCave on Zelda RP
Ever wanted a great place where you could RP Zelda style? Well, here's the perfect place! Tons of RP choices, simple rules, and a place for your dragons! Be sure to read the rules and give everyone else a view. Post your scroll link for easier use, and then go have fun at the RP's or other random stuff.

Komuri
Wow. Don't let the pretty background distract you from the fact that you can post your dragons and valenth pets here! With the views and clicks you get and give out you'll be happy. And you can always keep busy with the RPG's, games, polls, and discussions. So go on; have some fun at this site!

Fallen Sword
A totally awesome (free) MMORPG with a medidval setting that also comes with forums to post your eggs on. You do have to level up to level 5 (which should only take about 1 hour) before you can post on the off topic forums and signatures. But when that finally happens you can post your eggs and then wait for them to grow by distracting yourself by playing this addicting MMORPG, or even by chatting some more on the forums as your dragon's views go up.
Now with a new hatchery thread! Posting here should get your views to go up faster, since only fifteen people can post on a page in the eggspam thread. Be sure to read the rules though!

Nintendo Nsider
Just stick your eggs or scroll in your siggie and get a few views and clicks.

Other
Other places you can get clicks:
- The chatterbox forum in gaia's community - forums. Many bump threads will allow you to post url's to your eggs and you can ask for clicks. Even start your own topic. On a new note. Dragon's are no longer allowed to post in the Million Page Thread (MPT). Though they are being incredibly stupid about it, so I propose we all go spam the heck out of that thread on a specific day, or something.
- Myspace. You can use the HTML code and post them anywhere on your profile, a blog, a bulletin, and in your comments to people. Though if you only have a few friends, this might be kind of useless - except for those few extra clicks.
- Facebook. You can add your dragons via HTML code to your notebook application and get a few views, and hopefully clicks.
- Iferna's LJ. Go here to check out the latest eggspam topic in Iferna's LJ. Be sure to read how to post, to give clicks back, and maybe give Iferna a thank you for her topic.
- Signatures. Here you can post a link to your scroll in your signature. On just about any other forum you can do the same. Some forums might even allow you to post your egg links.
- Other forums. Most forums have boards for misc. talk or links. You can probably ask for other members to spare a few clicks there.

Places You Can NOT Get Clicks At
Here
Neopets
Pokeplushies
BackYard Chickens (well, you can get clicks here, but no eggspamming. Only join if you want to learn how to raise chickens, and on the side post your dragons)
Adventure Quest Forum
Meebo (too many dragon murderers, so it has been banned)
Zoo Tycoon Volcano
Ponystars (or any other Acclaim game)
Neoseekers
Fallen Sword (well...you can try, but you'll just end up advertising for them in some way)

And that's all I have right now. If anyone has any thing else to add feel free. I hope that helps!

I recently tried Hydra, and none of the DC links I've clicked on there (or that the auto-visitor "clicked") have loaded. They always come up as a blank white page. Since every other link I've clicked on Hydra has loaded just fine, my best guess is that TJ has banned links from there, most likely because it has an auto-clicker, which is considered cheating in some games. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

(Note: I'm using Hydra for my Squiby links, which I have confirmed *is* allowed by Squiby's owners. They also own Valenth, where they do *not* allow the use of auto-clickers. I use Yarold's for my Valenth pets.)

I keep trying to add my scroll to Dragon Cave Fansite, and it keeps telling me I don't have eggs to put in! I tried to do the same with my Hatchlings and again it tells me I have nothing to put in...dry.gif

What is the deal, who do I contact about this? It happened to me a few days ago too, but when I came back and tried to add my eggs things worked fine. I also know that you can only add eggs/hatchlings every hour...

Please read the DCF thread in the fansite section of Site Discussion.
http://forums.dragcave.net/index.php?showtopic=6670

They know about the problem and are working on it.

Until it's back working, you can use another site, e.g. http://www.sotidragon.net/ to put your dragons into the public.

I tried Soti Dragon... but I can't figure out how to add my eggs. I've also tried using Eggs will be Dragons, but it keeps telling me that it either has a problem getting my scroll information, or I used a scroll name that doesn't exist.

To add your eggs at Soti-Dragon's click the dragon listings link on the front page. Then click nest for eggs, nursery for growing hatchlings, freezer for frozen hatchlings or ER for eggs/hatchlings with less than 3.00 days left.

Scroll down the page (on all but ER) and there is a spot to type in your scroll name. Type it and hit the "Do the Scroll Thing" button. It will pull up all of the appropriate things that can go in the area. Copy and paste the codes into the box above then hit the "Do Egg/Hatchling/Frozen Thing" button. Shortly thereafter you should get a box showing you what you just uploaded.

For the ER you need the 4 digit code for the egg/hatchling you are trying to save. Type it into the box and click the "Save Me" button. If it meets the requirements it will get added, if not you can try again later.

So is there anyway you can differentiate the links between forums and non-forums?
Just a thought as it looks like there's a couple of sites that have a non-forum setup for you to post your scroll.
Or are they all forums? Cause that's what it's looking like.
Aren't there any sites where you just post your scroll to show eggs and get clicks for them?

It's funny because when I add the eggs for my scroll, I don't see the scroll. Is that supposed to happen. Are you able to see your scroll?

You don't actually "see" your scroll at Soti's when you go to add things.

It will look similar to this (Please ignore the note on the picture. I was having a problem and trying to get the folks at soti to understand what it was):

Mandy, I'm about to try adding your eggs again - the box with available eggs written on it showed, but not the actual eggs - and I tried manual cut-and-paste code entry from your scroll which didn't work, so I think the actual data isn't getting through right now - no feed in, or whatever people who actually know anything about puters call it.
So I'll check again and see if that's working...
Life without Soti's is hardly worth living...

It's working now! Your eggs are in and I'll go back and add your hatchings.

On every site I try, I can't post my scroll. He always say that he can't connect to dragcave becauwe the scroll name doesn't exist. (weird, because I know what my name it)

are other people having this to?

If you'd like me to try putting your emergency and other eggs/hatchling in for you, I need permission - PM me - and you need to go into your Account Settings, enter your password, alter your setting to 'Accepting Aid' in the little square box to the right hand side, and set this, if you'd like people to be able to help you by posting your eggs even if you can't get on-line and your eggs/hatchies are in trouble.

It may simply be that you need to cut and paste entries - this should be always done in ER cases anyway, as the wrong code entry can result in someone else's low-time egg being entered, whether the numbers are low or not.
But if there IS a problem, it can probably be sorted out quite easily, although some of your dragons ARE very short of time .

I will also place this below your post, in case you don't check your PMs.

Edit: As stated in PM, ER eggs have hatched, last one, currently in Nest, will be added when it gets below 3 days.
Copy and paste code/scroll entry works fine - have NO idea why I keep writing CUT and paste...
? Do as I do, not as I say?

Anyway, adding this mainly so the low-numbered egg doesn't wind up being double-posted at different ERs on its 3rd day to maybe get Sick - don't know if you'd notice in time to fog it, as I don't know how often you're online.

Re-edit: Hi, Gota_cacel,

I'd waited a bit to put 3 of your hatchies in Soti's Nursery, as the numbers are fairly high.
The other won't go in for a while because the numbers are much higher on that one - best to leave it for a while, so it doesn't get Sick.

I'm assuming my previous PM got through or you saw my post, as you did make it back to put the accepting aid message on and get some more eggs.

I would very much like to know that you can place those lovely new eggs in a hatchery yourself, (and are on the watch for signs of Soft Shell/Sickness and are prepared to fog if necessary,) before wandering off and leaving you to your own devices.
If you're unsure how to send a Private Message, the PM button on the bottom of my post will enable you to send me a message to tell me whether you can get your eggs in OK now, or not.

Or the 'Edit' button at the top of your post would let you add a note to the bottom of your post.

If you are having computer or other problems and can't get online, I will of course enter these new eggs in a hatchery, but if they aren't entered because you are still having problems, despite using copy and paste for your scroll name entry, and despite retrying (it can take quite a number of tries for me, sometimes) the problem can likely be easily solved.

I hope to hear from you soon, and I will again also place this at the bottom of my previous post in case you don't check your PMs.

Can you add From The Table to the list of places you can post eggs? It's smaller, but so far, we haven't lost a single egg. ^.^

You can get clicks from Pony Island, where I learned about Dragon Cave, in the Friends Forum under the 'Official Click My Pets Thread'. However, I've only been able to raise two of my three dragons to adulthood with one 'on the way'. I just didn't get enough views. The site is not free ($23 a year), though you can sign up for a free-trial that lasts about a week or so. Maybe it's not worth putting on the list, but I did just want to mention them for getting me hooked on Dragon Cave. biggrin.gif

dragonpen.webs.com Is no longer coming up as a dragon cave related site. It seems to just be someone's random blog or something.... Just wanted to give a heads up so it can be removed

Also, Dragon Roost seems to have disappeared altogether.

Others with bad links:
The Dragon Hatchery (the one listed after nestled in a cave)
The Adoptables Daycare
Dragon Obsession
The sub-links for subeta (Hatchery-Style Thread, Generic Clicking Post, & Stickied Eggspam Topic)
Take the Helm --> Dragons
Colossal Anime Forums

All the rest seem to be up and running and working just fine. Glad I could help biggrin.gif
