PF13/Silvanon (with Sheana hind leg edit):
(the non-edited hind leg version is not included due to receiving a much smaller majority of votes in the original thread)
FOR:

-Cubby things can grow up into not-chubby things
-Show that the heads have two different brains

AGAINST:

-Too cutesy/cartoony
-Don't match adults too well

RoseSagae:
(May not be final version, changes can still be made if there are major issues anyone notices)
smaller:
FOR:

-Match adults well
-Large size, easy to make out
- (quoting amethyst11) "it's the only one where the position of the heads look natural, unlike the two heads are trying to split and become 2 dragons"

AGAINST:

-Original is too large (almost same size as originals) Resize looks squished.

-Seem single-minded, don't show the 'two brains' aspect as well

Shikaru:

Arguments for changing the hatchling sprites:

-Antomy issues (The wings for example)
-Do not match adults (no split tail, different wings, no belly scales, head shape, etc)
-Larger than the size limits even allow
-They were only used for the replacement because it HAD to happen and they were the ONLY two-headed hatchling sprites

I like PF13's and Silvanon's sprites the best. They match the adult better, and not to mention that they're cute
RoseSagae's look about the same size as the current sprites to me...and I thought we were trying to change the size?

RoseSage's looks most like the adults to me, though the tail could do with being split. It just looks most like it would grow up into them.

Ditto. I would taltaly freeze all my split's if they looked like this.

I do love these even newer ones.

I like both Shikaru's and RoseSagae's but I think that Shikaru's just has more of an appeal. Can't really say why, but I prefer them. Very tough decision between the two though.

Umm...should the currents even be an option on this poll? They are placeholders that break the sprite guidelines. I think they shouldn't even be an option.

Anyway, I voted for PF13/Silvanon sprites...because I've been in love with them since they were first proposed. I know it's more for mammals, but chubby things do grow up not to be chubby and since they're babies I think it's perfectly fine.

*checks properties on a random split baby from scroll* Currents are 54x51.

Size aside, I prefer either PF13/Silvanon's, or shikaru's. Because Rose's don't say "awkward/cute baby dragon" to me, they say "adult split viewed from far away".

Another reason is that those two sets also show that the two heads have separate brains, as in the adult description. They're doing two separate things, which is not uncommon for twins to be doing. Rose's seems... single-minded. Somehow. Too coordinated for a baby with two brains. >.>

That's the width, and the 3 are grouped into one image.
RoseSagae, could you make your feet more claw like? They seem kinda pawish.
I'm undecided between yours and Shikaru's. I like PF13's, but it doesn't match as well IMO.

Iunno. I think your sprite is beautiful, but the feel is just... iunno. ._.;

I voted for Shikaru's because:
1. They match the adults
2. They look like hatchlings NOT ADOLESCENTS!!!
3. They are original looking, not like most other hatchlings in pose and such.
4. Visual appeal. I think they could stand to be a bit bigger if allowed so details could be seen clearly.

*I think they could use some tweaking especially around that farther head. Also making their outline and shading more clear. They look the best to me though! Plus they are so darn cute!

I voted for RoseSagae's. They might be betterwith a split tail, but I still like them the best as they are.

I don't like PF13/Silvanon's (sorry!) just because they seem kind of cartoony... I dont like the summers all that much either for the same reason.... they are VERY cute but when compared to other hatchlings (look at the fog dragons for example, or the pebbles... even the pinks and purples which are CUTE aren't THAT cute, IMO), they seem kind of out of place (but again, to me the summers do too... so that's just my opinion)

I DO like Shikaru's but they are in second place just because they are so small, and I think the detail is hard to see for whatever reason. With RoseSagae's i dont have to really THINK about it to tell exactly where everything is, and with Shikaru's second stage especially, the details seem a little less clear. But I still like them and would be happy with those as my second choice!

I can make mine a bit bigger, though they were made so small to coincide with the relative size of the adult.

I love RoseSegae's sprites! I actually like these better than the adult split! I would certainly get a pair of frozen hatchlings if those became official.

I think the currents are above the file size limit...not dimensions. Now that it's been mentioned...I realize why I don't really like Rosesagae's hatchlings. They seem to mature for hatchlings...like they're teens. I always consider hatchlings to be babies...even when they're close to maturing .

Since PF13/Silvanon sprites are losing...T_T My second favorites are shikaru's.

Sorry Shikaru, I'm going with RoseSagae's. I like how they're larger, and yet have more correct proportions.
