They are both awesome so far! I love them a lot, both concept and art, thankyou so much to the artists and the conceptors!

If I may give my crits I don't like so much the tail of the frostbite. Why is it transparent? It seems made of fog instead of ice. And the male Falconiform (that I like a lot for its forms and colors) has a white belly and a black back too much separated, I would have preferred if there would be more shading there wink.gif

Anyway they are so wonderful! Unexpectedly maybe I like more Frostbite than Falconiform, but I have to see the falconiform female to be sure.

I'm not sure what you're meaning with the falcons but it's not unusual for dragons to have radically separate belly and body colors? The Radiant angels have that too. Large scales don't really blend nicely into flesh, either, which is also why it's starkly separate. o3o

Fairly certain that the Frostbite's tail is transparent because it's supposed to be like a spin on how they reveal themselves in icy/snowy weather, so it's like they're starting to become visible.

ovo"

It makes a curious contrast: the head, neck and shoulders seems so strong and hard like ice. It seems really massive and powerful, so the semi-transparent tail is quite different from the rest of its looks.

Anyway... this will make them even more unique ^^

I think it's like they're coming out of a blizzard or something, so it's the tail would be harder to see.

Very lovely dragons, both breeds, though Falconiform Wyverns eating smaller dragons has me bit worried.... concerning safety of my scroll's pygmy dragons blink.giflaugh.gif

I think there are so different colors between belly and back when there are different types of scales. I image that a dragon belly is full of hard scales, which are different from the little ones that they have on the rest of the body.

Anyway I don't want to be polemic, I just want to express that maybe more shading between two differnt colors (expecially two like black and white) make the dragon looks more realistic IMHO ^^

user posted image This brute dragon has wonderful wings, they literally blend into the rest of the body without creating separation and this is very pleasing to the eye.

Did the second Frostbite reverse itself? Could've sworn it was an adult.

I just noticed the little snowflakes that are visible when you view the Frostbite on a dark background! So pretty! And I love the blue flames on the Falconiform. Eagerly awaiting the female adult.

Love the Frostbites.

I keep wondering where the other wing is on the black one. I'll get used to it.

Oooh, the adults are gorgeous! So no dimorphism for the Frostbites... the gradient of badassery is interesting, with the contrast between the heavily iced head and the transparent tail. The colors and design remind me of the Chandelier Wyverns in the Dragon Requests subforum.

The Falconiform Wyverns are pretty enough, but I think my favorite goes to the Frostbites for this release. Interesting that they specify dimoprhic size differences. Incidentally, I like the female more than the male sprite. Mmmm, dem wings.

At any rate, congrats for in-cave, new spriters!

So since both dragons from TJ are adults now I can give you some extra Info for the Falconiform Wyvern:

Name:

The name "Falconiform Wyvern" comes from their way to fly, the sharp hooked beak and their way to hunt, they are named after the "Falconiformes", which is an group of birds that contains the diurnal birds of prey.

Info:

They have strong legs, for an wyvern, with sharp claws, blue glowing eyes and sharp hooked beak, but be careful they have small and dangerous teeth in their mouth. Falconiform wyverns hunting smaller dragons by sight during the day or at twilight.

The wyvern can breathe blue fire, but they don`t use it often, they love the feeling to fight with their claws and their teeth against their prey.

The wings from an Falconiform Wyvern are large they can fly excellent and can make graceful, swooping dives. Their blue flames are no normal fire, it can be hot or cold, as they wish.

The Female Falconiform Wyvern is smaller than her mate, she has smaller horns and no fire "beard".

Biome:

Alpine and Volcano where the ones I requested, I prefered the Alpine but I think Volcano fit them too.

I really hope you like them (and sorry for some mistakes in my english it`s late for me here. xd.png )

The female Falconiform is amazing, I love the flying sprites. The blue flames on both of their wings are really beautiful.

I think the female Falconiform is my favorite of this releases sprites, but the Frostbite is my favorite overall.

Females will be impressed by a larger male as their mate, or that they're uniformly dimorphic?
